As the transport ended, the two were summoned outside of Earth in a room overlooking the planet.

"The system will now provide you with choices that may aid you," it announced in a formal tone.

“Now, where are we?” Mors asked.

“You have been summoned to choose an animal form that may assist you,” the system replied.

“Let’s begin then,” Vita said.

The system started explaining their options.

“You will be summoned to Earth in the city of New York, in a ruined apartment, near some human survivors,” the system continued. “You must choose your animal form.” It displayed a screen with the following options:

“I think we should have the same animal form,” Vita suggested.

“Yeah, so which animals should we go with?” Mors replied.

After examining the options, Mors noted, “Eagle and Cat only have one active and one passive perk,” sounding displeased.

“It seems like they were in a rush to create this,” Vita remarked.

“Looks like Cat and Eagle are off the table then,” Mors said.

“I find the Horse to be useless,” Vita pondered.

“System, do you have any recommendations?” Vita asked.

The system replied, “I recommend the Wolf, as you both need to survive and require strength to lead humans.”

“The leadership ability of the Chimpanzee seems useful if we’re going to lead humans,” Mors commented.

The system interjected, “The Chimpanzee has major downsides, and leadership can be obtained as a Wolf.”

“Let’s go with the Wolf, Mors,” Vita decided.

“What is ‘Sexual Mood’?” Mors inquired.

“Sexual Mood refers to an aggressive sexual drive for energy restoration,” the system explained.

“The gods included this perk for a reason,” Mors remarked.

The system was silent, creating an awkward pause.

“Let’s go with the Wolf,” Vita reiterated to Mors.

“Okay, we both choose Wolf,” Mors confirmed.

“Wolf selected,” the system announced.
