Chapter 10 The Call of the Wild

The valley was filled with the roar of Velia, the sound of branches breaking, and Aideen's steady guidance.

"Watch your steps! Watch your steps! The wolf's steps are light and deadly, don't be like a stupid bear!"

Velia was panting, and her clothes were soaked with sweat. She couldn't remember how many times Aideen had knocked her to the ground today, but she was not discouraged at all, and instead became more and more courageous.

"Come again!" She growled and pounced on Aideen again.

This time, her movements were no longer as clumsy as before, but full of strength and agility. She was like a real mother wolf, evading Aideen's attacks nimbly while looking for opportunities to counterattack.

Aideen's eyes flashed with admiration, but his movements did not relax at all. He was like an insurmountable mountain, steadily blocking every attack of Velia, and guiding her in the direction of advance with precise blocking and counterattacks.

"Feel the wildness in you, Velia! You are not human, you are a hunter of the night, a darling of the moonlight!"

Aideen's words, like a bolt of lightning, struck Velia's heart. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, put all distractions behind her, and focused only on the battle in front of her.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

Gradually, she felt a wild force surging from every cell in her body. Her senses became sharper, and everything around her became clear. She could hear Aideen's breathing, smell the faint pine scent on him, and even feel every contraction of his muscles.

"Very good, Velia, that's it!" Aideen's voice was full of excitement, "Release your wildness, let it guide you, and become a part of you!"

Velia suddenly opened her eyes, her pupils turned into a beast-like gold, flashing a dangerous light. She no longer deliberately thought about moves and techniques, but relied entirely on instinct to fight like a beast.

Her movements became faster and more fierce, like a storm, attacking Aideen.

Aideen was also moved. He felt the changes in Velia and the powerful force in her body. He knew that Velia had touched the true meaning of the werewolf power and was transforming into a real warrior.

He no longer deliberately suppressed his own power, but fought Velia with all his strength. He wanted her to completely master this power in actual combat.

Ginkgo leaves fluttered in the wind. Under the moonlight, two figures intertwined, like two ferocious beasts, fighting a life-and-death battle.

After an unknown amount of time, the battle finally ended.

Velia stood there panting, her body covered with scars, but she didn't care. Her face was filled with excitement and joy.

"I... I feel... I seem to be... different..." She said intermittently, her voice full of disbelief.

Aideen walked up to her, looked at her kindly, and said, "Yes, child, you are different. You are no longer that weak human girl, you have become a real werewolf warrior!"

Veliya raised her head and looked at the bright moon in the sky, with a firm light in her eyes.

"I will use my power to protect this forest and maintain the balance between man and nature!" She whispered, her voice full of strength and determination.
