Chapter 24: Its not over

It took Seojun everything in his power just to avoid lashing out at Houston who had the most annoying smile pasted on his face. Houston had made it clear that if he stayed out of contact with those guarding his niece for more that five minutes then they were to do whatever they wished with her as well as not forgetting the part where they would kill her afterwards.

"Now I came here out of goodwill inorder to give you very very helpful advice," Houston said as he could see Seojun visibly shaking with rage but he was unable to do anything.

'Yes this is what I wanted to see! Having all the strength to take me out this instant but to be fully helpless nonetheless!' Houston screamed in his head. 'I'll take everything away from you and remove you from the goddamn Earth for what you did to me all those years ago!!'

It was safe to say that Houston held a long time grudge against Seojun for the beating and the humiliation he had received from him and now after all those years he was finally going to get what he had always wanted.

"Well you have until seven pm tomorrow to make a decision. Give up you post as the leader of the gang queitly and get to see your niece or you can resist and let's say you'll see your precious niece in the afterlife,"Houston said as he walked towards the door opening ut so he could go out but before he could though he felt a strong grip on his shoulder and a tight squeeze that was so strong that he almost winced.

Turning around he was surprised to see that the hand belonged to Seojun.

"THIS NOT OVER YOU HEAR ME! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU SOONER OR LATER," Seojun told him before letting him go.

After Houston was gone Seojun looked towards John.

"Would it be too much to ask help from your mutt to find her," Seojun pleaded towards his right hand man which just showed that the relationship between the two wasn't your typical boss and subordinate relationship.

John shook his head. "I wish I could allow that but you know better than anyone else how important it is for Jex to sniff out the trail of the Dark Council members," John explained. "We can't afford to lose them now when we are certain they'll make a move tomorrow in preparation for the moon ceremony or else..."

"The balance between day and night will shift making it so nighttime can last for several years which gives them an extra boost to conquer the human race," Seojun sighed as he slumped into his seat. He had a hopeless expression on his face.

Houston had left the hotel but instead of being happy that his plan was close to being successful, he was pissed that Seojun still hadn't shown him the respect that he deserved. Standing on the side of the pavement, Houston was about to haul a taxi when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Someone was calling him.

Bringing it up to his ear, his fist literally crashed his smartphone to bits and pieces as his day just seemed to be getting worse.

A taxi had stopped and he boarded yet his destination wasn't where he was originally planning on going.

Standing in the white hospital room, Houston looked at his son who was now lying in bed. He had a cast over his arm and his face had bandages wrapped around. The doctor who had taken care of him had said that Brandon's nose was completely broken, several teeth were knocked out and several more were hanging loosely in his mouth when he first arrived. After a few hours of medical prowess they were able to treat him appropriately but still he would need at least a few weeks before he was in top shape again.

Brandon looked at his father weakly.

"D-Dad," he said

"Tsk you call yourself my son yet you can't even take care of yourself?" Houston retorted. His son looked away in shame.

"I under estimated him," he whispered lowly

"Underestimated who? Who did this?" Houston was now the one was shaking in anger because if anyone had the right to best up his incompetent son then it was certainly him. He was also curious as to who would dare do something like this.

"Ty-Tyler....Cal-vin," Brandon said because he wanted his father tto do what he had failed to do. He wanted Tyler to pay for everything and he knew his father would to it in the worst possible way.

Houston didn't say anything as he walked out of the room his three men were waiting outside.

"I want you to find everything there is to know about Tyler Calvin and what connection he has to my son," Houston ordered.

"Yes sir!," they shouted

"And also get my son home. I can't take any risks especially with everything going through its final phase," Houston ordered as he walked towards the elevator leading to the ground floor of the hospital. Whoever this Tyler person was Houston would make sure to make them pay dearly.
