I wanted to thank everyone that left a comment. I'm not exactly sure why but it made me happier than I expected.
I wanted to warn everyone, this may be rewritten at a later time. To me it feels a little rushed and inadequate. I may just need practice with these kinds of scenes, I just feel I didn't do justice to my mental image of what happens.
Also I may start another couple of threads with the purpose of gathering everyone's opinions. I'm not sure if anyone has done this before or how you all feel about this. But I was thinking of making one post where everyone can put there own character ideas and I might integrate a few select ones into my fanfic. The other I was thinking of creating some type of voting system for when the character hits a crossroad and needs to choose a path.

As I was walking down the stairs to the basement I couldn’t stop shaking, I was just so excited. The basement was cluttered and disorganized. I had to squeeze through some areas. There just wasn’t much room. I knew the general area where I left it but I didn’t spot it immediately. It seems Derek had covered it with a tarp and stacked crates on top of it.
I started rushing through hastily grabbing the crates and stacking them to the side. Not caring about the contents durability or value. I grabbed the tarp that was spread out on top and pulled it off in one go. I pulled it off so quickly that all the dust built up on it went into the air. Because of all the dust I couldn’t stop coughing and I could barely see. It was already fairly dark but now the room was filled with a thick dust cloud. While rubbing my eyes I felt a sharp pain in the back of my right calf and almost immediately after a message popped up.
Critical hit -22 HP
“Da-F***!” I turned around quickly in response only to see two more messages.
-9 HP
-13 HP
“What the hell!?” I could still barely see. I finally started to be able to make out the hazy appearance of something. Whatever it was it was about three feet tall and had the shape of a dog. I could not have cared less what it was, it was attacking me and more importantly it was delaying me.
What I had been waiting for was finally right in front of me and yet I couldn’t get it because of some shitty dog that doesn’t know its place.
- 11 HP
“God damn it!” I took out my bow in frustration and tried to nock an arrow. Only to realize that there wasn’t enough room. “F*** it!” I threw the bow at it in my frustration and pulled out another arrow. With an arrow in each hand, I lunged at the creature.
+ 8 Damage
+ 6 Damage
I was now on top of the beast. I was holding onto it tightly with both my legs and one of my arms. With my other arm I repeatedly pierced its side. The bastard was biting and scratching me while trying to struggle free. I ended up letting go of one of the arrows so I could get a better grip. It finally got free of me after slamming me into a wall. It slammed me so hard that the shock made me lose grip of my remaining arrow.
Because of the struggle I had lost another forty or so hit points and only did about twenty. I went to draw two more arrows only to realize that my quiver was empty. The arrows probably fell out in the struggle. This thing was pissing me off. Because of the struggle the dust cloud became even thicker. It was becoming harder and harder to see.
I was watching its hazy outline start to disappear. The little piece of shit was trying to get away. I went to chase after it but I couldn’t find it. I started to look around for it, but with such low visibility it could probable stand right in front of me and if it didn’t move I wouldn’t know it was there. I heard a noise near one of the shelf’s that was stacked with what seemed to be boxes. While I was inspecting the shelf it started to shake. It then began to fall. As it was falling I jumped to the side and just barely dodged out of the way. I was now lying on my pack crouched up. As I was getting up I had seen the creature. The bastard was starring down on me, from atop the pile it had just created.

“SON OVA B****!!!” I shouted. I had just realized that the shelf that fell, fell on top of what was mine. I didn’t think anything was damaged but damn it. Now I was delayed even more. I now had to sort through this mess before I would be able to access my stuff. I was furious I yelled at the beast “You little piece of shit!!!” As I yelled the creature jumped at my face. Without thinking my body had moved on its own, I had caught the beast in mid air by grabbing its head with both my hands. After realizing what I had just done, I could only smile.
I took the creature and started swinging it against the ground and walls as hard as I could, messages where popping up continuously but I ignored them. I just continued to beat the creature into the ground and walls until it stopped moving. Then I did it some more, I continued to do it until I was completely satisfied. After calming down I picked up the loot sat down to rest.

1 Filthy Fur
After a moment of rest I took a look at my current status. It seemed I lost almost two hundred hit points and was almost out of stamina.
I started cleaning up the mess that was in the way of my stuff as well as collecting my bow and arrows. After about two hours (IGT) I was finally able to access what was mine. I opened up the steel trunk and to my delight my stuff seemed to be exactly how I left it. Inside the trunk was a single backpack. I equipped the backpack and called out “Inventory.”

~Good it seems everything is here.~ I took out the key and the lockbox. I then put the lockbox on the ground and placed the key in the keyhole. After placing the key into the key hole I cut my finger with an arrow and let a bit of blood drop on top of the lockbox where a magic circle was engraved. I then said “I bind you to your one and only master.” at this point the magic circle started to glow. As I turned the key I spoke aloud “Open and reveal thy secrets!” The light started to fade and the lid slowly opened. I then checked the contents. There was one signet ring, three small notebooks, one average sized notebook, and one small worn out leather bound journal.
I took out the ring and inspected it. The ring was made of some odd type of metal and the signet was blank. I looked through the scroll case and located an Identification Scroll. I held the scroll in one hand and the ring in the other as I said “Identify”. “Ting”
Signet Ring of the Guided Path
Unknown
I then put the ring on and said aloud “I wish to follow the path to enlightenment” At the moment I finished the sentence everything went bright white. Then an image appeared in front of me. It was the back of a person sitting next to a tree atop a hill. Past the person was an amazing scenery. I could see far and wide for miles. A majority of the horizon were snow peaked mountains that were a bit cloudy. The sun was setting behind the mountains and the sky was a beautiful range of orange to purple. There were beams of sunlight penetrating past the mountains and into the sky. The image was simply serene.
I only got to see the image for a brief moment before it vanished and my scenery returned to that of the basement. ‘Ting’
