Okay maybe their leader didn't say that last line but he did say "We're gonna sell these girls and make more money."

And look how that turned out ha ha. Ugh! Blood everywhere. Oh, before i got here, I saw smoke in the air from not too far away. Thinking that bandits might be there, luring innocent girls for them to keep and do you know what.

With a mischievous smile, i guaranteed that it will teach her a lesson to not make such impulsive decisions especially if it gets you into danger.

PERFECT! As i left the scene in a hurry, running towards the campfire. I looked behind and i'm surprised she caught up. Hmm a typical forest. Of course. Well, i'm almost there money!

After reaching a small rural camp, i've discovered these bandits staying there for the night. Seriously, are they that stupid for letting people know their here? Regardless of the stupidity, they did me a favor. Now hiding behind a bush, i scanned the area and only found 24 of them excluding the Mob Boss. Yes, a name befitting the leader of bandits! "Stay here. It's dangerous." i turned around and said to her.

Okay, she nodded without thinking much. Everything is going according to plan. Now i just wait for the right moment...

"Ah-" that's one dead. I dragged him towards me using earth magic and took all of his armor. Sucks to be you.

Back to grinding mob exp! These bandits have no chance against me!

Oh...Ah. Ah! Yeah! I should try out my new skill. It would save so much time and energy. No, i am not getting lazy. It's just easier like obtaining an aoe skill in an rpg. The game genre, not weapon.

"GAAAH!" he screamed. As in the bandit of course.

"EHH!" that's the weirdest scream i've ever heard from someone...

"AAAHHHH!!!" That's more like it!

Ha ha alright that should be all 24. Now i just have to find their leader, Mob Boss.

I then looked around me and found multiple empty cages. Nothing seems to be here huh...Ah-ha!

Jackpot! I opened one of the crates and it's full of gold! With a smile, i sucked up all the gold in the surrounding area with my other new skill. I acquired more than one skill. The rest is a secret. With my new found skill, i can easily transports any goods with the use of water just by dissolving the thing it consumes. I then decide if i want it to duplicate or completely disappear. It's a very useful skill, am i right?

I feel something behind me... Hm, probably just her messing around. Wait, didn't she agree to stay back?

As they say, curiosity indeed kills the cat. But now is not the time. The wind is blowing unusually in the wrong direction. Interesting. This armor is heavy and way too strict on movement. I dislike it. I also took one of the bandits sword to use. As of right now, i do not wanna use Condensation. Oops i revealed another one of my skill... it wasn't on purpose!

But anyhow, I can turn my liquid water into gas and vice-versa. It can mess with the opponent's head easily but i'm going to save it for another fight.

"I GOT YA!" Mob Boss said, smiling ferociously. He appeared behind me, going for a sneak attack but i already knew.

I deflected his sword with my sword. This battle is really making me happy! Let's see what you got!

"AAAAHHHH!!!" he screamed while forcefully trying to break past my defense.

He swiftly surrounded me and with every step attacking me at all angles. I stood still and deflected each and every of his attack with ease and precision of course.

Oh, he got tired. I should attack back. I stood in stance and guarded up. Held my sword up, ready to strike.

"What's that puny sword style gonna do?" he said and laughed.

In a split second, i reached from where i stood to Mob Boss's face. His expression delights me. Time slowed or is it just me?

"What happened to you laughing now?" i said mockingly.

I sliced his body diagonally and then stabbed his heart. "How do you feel getting stabbed in the heart?" i said. Looks like Mob Boss appeared to avenge his friends, how cute. With my sword up, blood spilled down from Mob Boss. Hearing him pant just sounds not so delightful. Well, at least he's done for.

Raya's stance really is something.

He stood up struggling to even breathe.

It's impressive he's not dead yet even after stabbing him in the heart. This might be a fight worthwhile. Give everything you go- Huh... He dropped dead. Uh. That's not part of the script. I think he's just playing, right? He should stand up anytime now.

... Any second now. Nope. I really think he's dead. Wow, and i just got excited to fight a worthy opponent. What a disappointment. I give him points for the flashy vicious moves but other than that, there's nothing else to show. I should get going now. Wait.

The body dissolved almost instantly. That's not supposed to happen. Unless bodies in this world are different?

"AAAAHHHH!!!" he screamed while he appeared behind me, going for another sneak attack but i already knew.

I stabbed him in the heart again. Hearing him pant still sounds disgusting. Is he a dog or what?

He should be dead now. He failed twic-

He stood up...ah here we go again. Still haven't learned your lesson.

"Mo- Monster! You monster! No one should be allowed to have this much power!"

He's experiencing an emotional outburst. Mob Boss is tweaking too much right now.

As he went down on his knees, looked up and shouted.

"Gale! I need help! I did all you ask for! Where are you!?"

She looked at the grimoire once more, raised her hand forwards pointing at Mob Boss and recited.

"Earth Bullet!"

Blood splat everywhere as Mob Boss's body was covered in holes and he finally fell dead.

I looked at the direction the bullets came from and applauded.

Who knew she could do a move like that? That makes me think taking her in as a partner could work out for my upcoming constitution.

Well, since the fight is over, i might as well continue looting everything.

After looting everything, i've gained 20,000 gold coins, assuming 1 gold coin is 10 yen. That's 200,000 yen! Not even an entire anime episode. Let alone a minute...

Maybe it's just weak currency and i don't even know if paper money exists. Thinking of it, making my own paper money wouldn't be bad business.

Anyways, i dissolved all the scrap weapons and armor which i obtained from the bandits. I have no use of them and selling them would raise suspicions on me. It would lead to no good.

We started walking back to my home after i decided to take her in. I named her Rin. Yes, a Japanese name that only makes sense for me to use because i a- used to be native Japanese. It's odd for her to not having a name so it was only logical for me to do so.

The next morning my older sister, Raya, came up to me.

"You took in a girl without asking mom or dad?" she humb- not so politely asked.

I ignored her question and tried running away but failed.

"You are not escaping from me until i get answers." she said as she grabbed my collar.

Oh boy, it's gonna be hectic for a while now that Raya found out. Don't even get me started on my parents. They might kick her out... hopefully not though.
