Chapter 2: 3...4...6...Uhh...How Many Years Again? Hellish Training Again With The Devil

It really do be slow.

I mean, 3 years has gone by.

All i can do for now is pretty much walk, crawl, and a do little magic.

Fireball? Yeah, pretty much.

Water? Sure, I have a few techniques.

But no upping physical resistance and fitness yet. Maybe i do not have enough magic yet? It would make sense considering my age.

----------------------------------------

It has been another year. Not much has changed. Well, If that's what you're thinking.

Sorry to tell you but this year has been quite a change for me.

I now have enough magic capacity as it increased tremendously. My water techniques have never been so effortless! Other than that, I can now use magic to up my physical fitness on another level. Though resistance will require more magic to a degree...a bit disappointing.

----------------------------------------

Ah...Now 6 more years have passed. Now I have reached a level where physical resistance and fitness is a breeze to execute. I'm now 10, and can easily make movements far beyond human capabilities.

Even after acquiring these feats, it still doesn't feel enough if I want to become the head of an organization. I really need to be the most powerful.

Hmm...Should I go see my sister? I'm quite bored. But I really don't want to go through the hellish training she put me up with.

I sighed. And just as I changed my mind and was about to walk back inside, my sister was behind me. She definitely was. I can just sense her outrageous intent of 'training till death'. Her aura's intensity even made me shiver.

"Where do you think you're going." Raya muttered. Though it was said in a low but almost stressed voice.

I froze still, looked to the corner of my eyes and thought. Was that a question? It really didn't seem like it...Damn I'm a bit worried. For me of course.

She walked towards me and I finally unfroze. And turned around fast with a scared expression.

Well, in reality, I'm not scared at all. Just acting hehe. I didn't think reading a book about drama and it's history would befit me. Hm, now thinking about it, it is quite handy, and could be even more useful in the future. But for now, I should really handle this situation. How did she even know I was outside in the backyard? I could've sworn she left to go to the main city's market place.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

As I was deeply thinking, it's as if i lost conscious the whole time. I didn't realize that she dragged me across to a open field in the courtyard.

Wait...Why do I have a weapon in my hand?

Raya then walked away from me while I stood in confusion.

She turned around facing me. Held her wooden sword up in guard and in her stance, ready to strike.

"Guard up as well, or you will probably suffer" Her eyes fiercely pierced through me.

I acted like I was frightened and flinched. I quickly guarded up, pointing my sword up just like her. My sword to the side of vision. Left hand on the pommel, and the right hand just below the guard. Right foot behind and left foot in front with both knees bending loosely.

Almost like a boxing stance huh?

Tension built in the air, with both our eyes in contact like predators waiting for the right time to strike and go for the kill.

We waited a few moments. But I don't think she is gonna strike? Oh well, I'll make the first move then...which was an obvious mistake when against a much more "experienced" swordsman.

I lost. I moved and she swiftly swung her sword and disarmed me in almost 2 seconds. 1 second and 670 milliseconds to be exact.

Losing balance, I fell to the floor and gave out a shocked expression for a second, transitioning to a smile "Ah...looks like I lost again.".

"Stand up." She stood proudly. I did as she said and Raya walked away "We're done with training for today.".

Wow...do you even call that training? To me it looked like getting taught a lesson for no wrong reason.

At least she is gone now. I walked off thinking of going to the center of the main city. And I did go. Reaching there was a piece of cake.

Just by enhancing my speed and agility, I could easily reach to the further city of Halesk without breaking a sweat.

But, you should know me be now, I couldn't be asked to go.

This ice cream does taste good though.

I'm still thinking on what to do. Should I go shop for gear? Oh! Maybe a new sword, that wouldn't be too shabby.

"Stop!" A girl screamed. It sounded like it came from a alleyway nearby.

I stopped in my tracks and focused on hearing in a close range. "St-Stop it!" It sounded like it was from the same girl who screamed a second ago. Fidgeting? Is she held captive?

Oh, I found her location. Though I would need something to cover up my face. I really don't want to be targeted later, so it's best to save some hassle.

With quick thinking, I managed to get a theater mask from a open market and put it on. I swiftly jumped up the tall housing without any citizen noticing, and preceding to go towards that alleyway.

The mask only covers my eyes and partially of my nose. Is that enough to hide one's identity? I'm probably just being delusional.

Ah, their they are. I jumped down in style and it caught the bandits attention. Filthy creatures mobbing a sweet looking young girl. I guess it's time to put all my own training into value.

"What makes you think you can mob on a girl?" I said confidently. I then walked up to them with pride and they proceeded to charge an attack with hostility. At me? Who do they think they are?
