Vanya sat in a small dark room. Like herself, everything in the place was doll themed. Her pale pink hair was in braids and matched the colors in her room. Her head was buried in her knees, and her fingernails dug into her paper white skin. Blood trickled out from her skin for a few seconds before it healed up again. Vanya repeated this process while rocking back and forth.
"Look, Thana. Maybe this isn't such a good idea. Numerous other vampires would be a perfect fit for this school." Lorelei said softly. She had on a human disguise as she walked down a gloomy street in Berlin. It was drizzling.
"Don't be a coward, Lorelei." Death rolled her eyes as Lorelei glared at her. "You're the one that's been pushing her to go to the school. You have nobody but yourself to blame." Her voice lowered to a mutter as she added. “You’ve been pushing plenty of students to attend, haven’t you?”

"It would be a lot easier if she wasn't a Leah, is all I'm saying," Lorelei mumbled to herself. She gave Death a side eye before she said uneasily. “You know she approached me first. It just made too much sense.”
"From what Adrian reported back, “Death said abruptly, “she never had any prior killings before this… and being… what she is. It's astonishing it hasn't happened sooner." Death continued flatly as they walked up to a massive building. The two walked up the steps together.
"Well…" Lorelei held up her fist to the door, "Here we go." she knocked softly. A few moments later, the door creaked open slowly. A young man and woman, both with blood-red eyes and white hair, peeked out at them. They looked petrified by the sight of Lorelei and Death.
"We've-" Lorelei started.
"Take her!" the mother shrieked. "Take her away! Please!"
Lorelei pushed them roughly into the house, and Death slammed the door. "Ma'am, there are humans outside. Watch your tongue." Lorelei hissed at the young woman.
Death's eyes are drawn to Vanya Leah, who's standing in the dark hallway. Her eyes had huge rings underneath them, and her body seemed lifeless. She sat on the edge of death. "We came here for you, Vanya."
