Nothing special happened while Magus Sept and his students traveled towards the outpost with the airship.
To put it simply Fraser didn’t even step out of his cabin except for eating in the canteen. Instead, he just holed himself up in his room and meditated.
He didn’t create any new basic explosion potion or tried to use the other potion recipes which he bought in the Howling Abyss Academy.
Fraser also didn’t train in the Basic Knight Apprentice Breathing Technique which would allow his body stats to get past his bottleneck from the Basic Knight Breathing Technique.
The whole time on the journey was spent on meditating and using the spirit to calculate possible spell models for the spell model dark rope.
Fraser thought about creating a second dark rope spell model in his spirit room, as he already reached Apprentice Level 2 and could create another dark rope spell model as the spell model of dark rope only took around half of the runes of a normal basic spell model.
However Fraser decided to not create a spell model of dark rope at this moment, instead, he wanted to wait till he had a modified spell model.
‘Since I will give the necessary spirit to the AI to simulate a modified spell model for dark rope every single day at the outpost there should be results after the three years. After all the AI doesn’t take a tiny amount of my max amount of spirits if the simulation fails like as if a normal Apprentice tries to modify a spell model. Also, the AI works faster and faster, I guess it is simulating the modified spell models way faster than a couple of Apprentices combined.’
Quickly the journey towards the outpost ended and the airship stopped at the airship station of the outpost allowing it to transport raw materials from the outpost into the airship and allowing it to transport finished products from the airship into the outpost.
It was at that logistic time span of the airship transporting raw materials and finished products from the outpost to the airships storage and vice versa that Magus Sept and his students walked out of the airship into the outpost.
As Fraser stepped out of the airship with the other senior disciples he could gaze upon a colossal abyss. To put it into perspective Fraser couldn’t even see the other side of the abyss and it could be described as the end of the world as the land seemed to end here, a cliff reaching down towards nothing.
“It could be” as Magus Sept turned towards his students with a smile before telling them something about the seemingly endless abyss before the students could even react to the fascinating scenery in front of them.
“This is the Howling Abyss, my students, even though our Academy is named the Howling Abyss Academy it doesn’t mean we control the entire Abyss. Instead, we only control a tiny region of it. The other regions are controlled by fearsome and intelligent creatures. However, we are still called the Howling Abyss Academy as we are the only Magus organization occupying the Howling Abyss.”

Turning towards the Howling Abyss Magus Sept pointed with his right index finger at a small hill which seemed insignificant before the endless nothing showed by the Abyss.
“This is the outpost of the Howling Abyss Academy, the other Magus and their students will arrive soon and we will have to take their duty for three years. You will be allowed to do whatever you want after finishing your duties.”
With this short speech, Magus Sept walked towards the small hill which had a stone gate on closer look.
As Fraser pulled his cart with his dozen of crates with him he quickly realized that somehow the small group of inner chamber students turned from around thirty students to almost two hundred students.
Fraser was interested in the other students as he couldn’t identify who they were however he quickly realized that he saw a few of them cleaning the laboratory, feeding the animals and tending the plants.
Another interesting thing was that somehow they formed a group with four familiar faces in the center: Adrian, Nicholas, Elise, and Elizabeth.
The four of them laughed and joked with the people surrounding him. The Lackeys on the other hand which surrounded the four joked and laughed with them.
‘Looking closer there is nobody from the older generation in the group, after all, there are also a few concealed figures who aren’t at the top of the group.’
As Magus Sept walked towards the hill with the stone gate a natural formation formed, showing the hierarchy of his disciples. Closest to Magus Sept walked the students who were in the inner chamber, meaning those senior students Fraser saw at the meeting, behind them were the group of young students forming a huge circle around the four stars of the inner circle of Magus Sept, Elise, Nicholas, Adrian, and Elizabeth.
However, there wasn’t only this group, surrounding the huge circle of the young student's small scattered groups walked. A few groups were concealed and walked along in a silent manner, others chattered and even laughed, some even walked completely alone, but the one thing they had in common was the fact that they all had an aura surrounding them signaling experience, strength, danger, charisma or other attributes which Fraser couldn’t find in the small timeframe.
Some had a smaller aura or had an aura completely devoted to one of the attributes, yet the aura was there.
It was hard to describe how it felt, but a similar experience could be the first meeting Fraser had with his father, duke rosethorn. He was probably around six and only received a cold glare as the duke assessed the progression of their knight training.
Naturally before and after that, every member of his family would talk about on how to impress father or the duke.
‘What is this aura? Or what are they signaling? Is this the danger they experienced at the outpost formed into a solid state which is able to influence other people? Or is this something they acquired without even knowing what it was. Besides as these disciples of Magus Sept are not in the inner chamber then that means that every senior disciple of the inner chamber also has this aura and should be able to control it or hide it.’
Fraser glanced towards each of the members of the inner chamber, not feeling any aura or anything signaling they were even there.
He could feel the aura of the senior disciples who walked along the huge circle of newbies but the Fraser couldn’t feel anything from the inner chamber, senior disciples.
While Fraser thought about the feeling of the unknown auras or as he called it, he could feel another batch of auras, but this time coming from the front.
“Ah, so you are the one replacing me, Sept!” sounded a female voice.
As Fraser looked up he could see a woman with curly brown hair wearing a tight robe to highlight her curves.
“Ah, nice to see you Veronica.” greeted Magus Sept with a smile.
