Chapter 5.5: The Adventures of an Awesome Dude
There’s a slight chill in the air. Streaks of light made its way through the tops of the mountain range. The sky slowly changes hue as the surrounding became more visible. A thick fog lingered at the base of the mountain, like an omen of death, it was like the boundary to the afterlife. Camped outside was a group of adventurers, tents pitched and fire burning, 5 battle hardened mercenaries share a meal of roasted mountain boar. As if the sun marked the start of battle, the mercenaries began their preparations for war...
Sitting on a log, a 6 feet (~1.8 m) mage took off his hood. His chiseled jaw line and battle scars made him look intimidating. Even as a mage, you can clearly see his well defined biceps and chest beneath his black robe. He looked at his comrades with a serious face before he began to speak...
“Hm, looks like it’s finally time. Is everyone ready?” (Mage?)
Sitting across the fire, a swordsman and cleric were flirting.
“Uu, you’re so cute Kitty-chan” (Swordsman?)
“Hehe~ stop it, everyone can see~” (KittyRawrRawr)
The swordsman, tall, thin, and with long blonde hair, he was the definition of a bishonen (beautiful man). No blemishes could be seen on his porcelain white skin. His deep blue eyes were like looking into the vast deep ocean. He continues to grope the cleric without reserve, she pretended to resist, but her eyes were definitely full of lust.
“Hey! Knock it off already Silentblade!” (???)
Another female swordsman stood up while beating on the back of Silentblade’s head. Was she annoyed... or was it jealousy? She wasn't as cute as Kitty-chan. She has straight black hair that went down to her waist. Her face was serene and dignified, and her body was thin and well toned, most of her non-existent feminine features were covered in a thick armor.
“Miko is right, dickface, stop with the flirting already” (???)
Siding with the female swordsman was an elfling archer. Though he was the shortest of the bunch, he held a rather intimidating aura. With black leather gear and matching black bow, he looked like a true assassin; ready to slip into the shadows and take your life at a moment's notice.
“Geez, you guys don’t understand the beauty of the female body. That’s why you’re all virgins” (Silentblade)
“Fuck off shithead” (Archer?)
“Christ- are girls the only thing on your mind?” (Mage?)
Jumping to his feet, the archer ready his bow. He points three arrows towards Silentblade's face. Faster than he could draw his sword...
[shooosh]
[GAWK!]
The arrows flashed by the bishonen’s head, streaks of blonde hair flutter in the wind as he remained speechless.
[thud]
Behind him, a lizard warrior fell to his knees, gasping for air. 2 arrows penetrated his chest, 1 in his throat, the beast was on the verge of dying.
“-Penetrating shot-!” (Archer?)
A clean kill. The lizard head blew off as the body fell limp to ground.
“Let’s go guys!” (Archer?)
“Right!” (Group)
Swift and steady, the archer led the way through the fog. Like a ninja, he reappears out of nowhere.
“2 guards out front, 4 roaming, you guys stay here, I’ll lure them in” (Archer)
Quickly as he came, he vanished. After a few seconds, shrieks of anger could be heard coming from the distance.
“They’re coming!” (Mage?)
The two swordsman unsheathe their swords, while the mage begins to conjure his magic. A group of six lizardman appear from the fog, each with an arrow stuck in their armor.
“Lets go!” (Silentblade)
“Haaaah!” (Miko)
“God of divine blessing, please protect their soul, -armor blessing-!” (Kittyrawrrawr)
A faint glow surrounded the two swordsman as their dashed towards battle.
“Stand back! -Fire hex-!” (Mage?)
2 of the 6 lizardman burst into flames!
Fire hex caused fear!
The two burning lizard began panicking while running in circles.
“-Fire ball-!” (Mage?)
A smirk could be seen on the magician’s face, he enjoyed torturing his victims with fire magic.
As a fireball engulfed one of the burning lizards, an arrows from the right took out the other.
Enemy slain: +103 exp!
After dispatching another group of lizardmen, they headed towards a cave.
“I got this. -Torch-” (Mage?)
Two flicker of light emerged from the mage's hands, he directed the flames with his mana, one fire was out front while the other remained with the group.

“How many are left?” (KittyRawrRawr)
“It’s been 3 days already, I think we cleared out most of them, maybe 200 left?” (Archer?)
As they traveled deeper in the cave, it slowly turned into a labyrinth. The existence of labyrinth or dungeons were still up for debate. Many of the citizens told tales of ancient labyrinths, however, new labyrinths and dungeons began popping up in random locations since 14 years ago. From then on, a surge in monster activity became a problem for many small villages. Thanks to the arrival of adventurers in recent months, the hordes of monsters are now kept at bay.
Three hours now passed, as they group made their way to the final floor. A large stone door with magic runes was blocking their path.
“Stand back! I’ll break the seal!” (Mage?)
The mage placed his hands on the stone door, the runes began to glow...
Hm... ru-...te-...ra....po-...li-....nis....

“Rutera Polinis!” (Mage?)
The door began to rumble as it slowly sank towards the floor. A dazzling yellow light started to pour out from within; a mountain of gold and treasure filled the room! The door was only halfway opened when a loud roar shook the cavern. The adventurers were startled.
[ROAARR!]
“Guys, get back, its the boss!” (Miko)
“-Scout-! It’s a Lizard Queen! lvl 50!” (Archer?)
Running back while preparing for battle, the door was blow to pieces before it had a chance to finish closing! Like all MMOs, there’s always a boss at the end of a dungeon. However, this wasn't your typical level 50 boss. Emerging from the rubble and dust, a giant lizard-like beast! It crawled on all four while squeezing through the door. It’s often believed that lizards and dragons are closely related, for a lizard to be this big, it must have been a descendant of a green dragon. Crawling, one step at a time, the giant beast finally managed to stick out it’s right claw. The razor sharp claws were slicked with venom, as the floor around the claw seem to burn from acid. Wriggling some more, the beast slammed down its front-left claw. The floor quacked as debris and dust trickled down from the ceiling.
After 5 minutes of constant roaring and squirming, the 5 adventurers looked at each other...
“... I think it’s stuck...” (Kittyrawrrwar)
“...” (Group)
After 15 minutes of assaulting the poor beast with long ranged attacks...
"Wahahaha! BURN BABY BURN!" (Mage?)
"That's enough dude! It's already dead!" (Archer?)
[ping]

“Wooh! We’re rich!” (Silentblade)
It was a happy and serene image of a group of friends, rejoicing after a long struggle. As they finished looting the japtem, the Mage stopped in silence...
[ping]
Message (Mom): Mitsuo! Are you still playing games!? It’s time for dinner!
“...” (Mage?)
“What’s up Awesomedude?” (Miko)
“I gotta go now guys! Catch you later!” (Awesomedude)
“See ya dude!” (Archer?)
“Don’t worry, we’ll save you any magician equipment” (Silentblade)
"Thanks, see ya!" (Awesomedude)
