Caeldaemos leaned back in his bath. He and Liara were in their Galgalake manor. Lily and Rana stayed behind to continue on the walls for Hallibrush. He checked in on Listamati via Crys-Link, but she told him she was still looking into things and would get back to him when she could.
Liara looked up at his face. “Still concerned for Lista?”
“Sorry.” Caeldaemos hugged her to him. “She said she was checking into a nearby city over there, and I am worried about her sister targeting her. Since I cleared the darkness from her heart, she regained her noble spirit. I’m just worried.”
“Well, once we sell the four units to the mercenary guild and have them work on establishing a branch office in Hallibrush, you should go to help her,” Liara said, hugging him tightly.
He loved her. He loved all of them so much. Of course, he wished they would be a little less horny all the time, but he loved them either way. Each one of them meant the world to him.
“Thank you.” He kissed her.
“In the meantime, I get you all to myself tonight.” She gave him a sultry smile.
“I swear, all of you are constantly in heat!” He joked.
Liara thought for a moment. “Which one is the worst of us in regard to that?”
“Rana, hands down. She pushes herself far beyond her limits every time.”
“Where do the rest of us rank?”
He thought for a moment. “You and Orelia are nearly as bad. Lista and Sophia hit their limits and try to squeeze in a tad more before stopping.”
“And Lady Temerilla?”
“She does things just right. Just up to her satisfaction. She doesn’t push the limits of her body.”
“Okay. Which of us is your favorite?” She asked.
“You know DAMN well that is one of the biggest trap questions in the world! I will not answer that under any circumstance.” He shouted.
“Come on.” She caressed his cheek.
“No. If you ask me any further, I am taking you back to Hallibrush naked.” He threatened.
“Oh well, I tried, ladies,” Liara stated.
“What?” He turned to see an active visual group call with all of his wives and lovers.
“Sorry, Cael, we were just really curious,” Sophia said.
“I consider it holy training as your apostle!” Orelia cheered.
“I promise I will try to hold back more!” Rana shouted, embarrassed.
“I am quite happy with his answer.” Golden Halo, Lady Temerilla happily chimed in.
“I would be happy for you to join me, Cael, when you are done there,” Listamati said, her cheeks red.
Caeldaemos stood from the bath. “You are all banned from my bed for a week.”
They all immediately began to complain, but he stopped them with two words.
“Two weeks.” He narrowed his eyes at Liara and the Crys-Link.
They sadly accepted their punishment and apologized.
Caeldaemos went to bed alone, locking Liara outside his room and putting up an isolation domain around his bed. He knew full well that he could hold back for two weeks, which would torture them. Ever since he upgraded Lord of Debauchery to True Lord, his skills got to a godly level. Though he felt that Lady Temerilla would be fine for the time.
Caeldaemos and Liara entered the mercenary guild of Galgalake the following morning for their appointment.
“Caeldaemos!” A familiar face approached them.
Caeldaemos smiled warmly. “Hey, Martin. It has been a while.”
“Indeed it has, and… Liara, is that you?” Martin was surprised by her new look.
“Hey, Martin! How are things with your boyfriend?” Liara cheerily asked.
“He is quite well. We are doing well.” Martin thanked her.
“I am glad to hear that, Martin. I am glad you found someone.” Caeldaemos added.
Martin thanked them and asked why they came in.
“We are here to see Halli,” Liara replied.

“Oh, sorry, but he is expecting to see a noble from Hallibrush,” Martin replied, apologizing.
Caeldaemos and Liara chuckled.
“What?” Martin got a bit annoyed at their reaction.
“That’s us, Martin,” Liara said.
“What!? Y-You’re a noble now!?” Martin asked in surprise.
“Cael received a small barony. It was difficult to pull off, but yes, he is a noble.” Liara explained.
“Oh, I wonder if Halli knows.” Martin wondered.
Martin offered to take them to Halli’s office, but Caeldaemos said it would be better for him to come to the training area for a demonstration.
Martin went upstairs while the couple headed for the outside training area.
By the time Halli arrived outside, Caeldaemos had already set up the four LemoGeon units at the side of the training area closest to the doors inside.
Four young mercenaries were getting ready inside the chambers with Caeldaemos while Liara waited for Halli.
“Hey Halli, long time no see.” Liara greeted him with a smile.
“Likewise… Martin said you looked different, but I couldn’t imagine how different. How did that happen?” Halli asked.
“When I unlocked my spirit abilities, I ended up becoming more spirit than a demon. Anyway, you are going to love this.” Liara looked back over where Caeldaemos finished getting the group ready.
“Public Area Selected. Establishing Play Area.” The system announced.
“Play area?” Halli asked as he watched the barrier form to the awe of the other young mercenaries who stood by.
The four young mercenaries appeared together in the play area. Before long, the four were fighting against a boar.
“What the hell is that?! They’re going to get hurt!” Halli went to try to intervene, but Liara stopped him.
“They are fine, we assure you. This product is from our family workshop in Hallibrush, the LemoGeon Simulator. The young ones there are fighting while using hard-mana forms. Their real bodies are completely safe inside the chambers.” She explained.
“Hard mana?” Halli followed her up to the play area barrier and watched the four uncoordinated mercs struggle against the boar.
“Depending on the settings, which, Cael, what mode are they on?” Liara asked her husband.
“Their instructor wanted them on Medium instead of Play.” He answered, noting down some ideas.
“Oh, well, they are going to feel that later. Depending on the play mode, they can experience 1%, 25%, or 50% of the pain they would feel in the field.” Liara told Halli.
“I thought you said they were safe?” Halli questioned.
“They are. No serious injuries, maiming, death, or even bruises. Just kind of an… ache or soreness. Trust me, I know the feeling since I tend to play on Medium. I tried Hard mode once, and I won’t do it again. But it was a good training aid to know just how important it is to not get hit.” Liara answered.
Sadly, the four young mercenaries failed to defeat the boar, and the beast vanished with a victorious squeal.
The play area broke down, and the four came out of the chambers, rubbing spots of their bodies where the boar got them.
“I told you lot to work together! Why did you act like a bunch of drunk monkeys in there!?” The instructor began to berate his recruits.
Another four entered the chambers and began a battle against the boar. They seemed to be more familiar with each other and were doing a bit better than the first group.
The instructor finished his lecture and approached Halli.
“Sir, I really want these units. The training level we can provide newbies like this lot would be a night and day difference.” The instructor requested.
Halli watched as the second group was doing well against the boar. “Being able to see the failures and tricks of others would make this an indispensable training aid. How much for the units, and would it be possible to get a fifth one?”
Caeldaemos had joined them. “Each unit is 500,000 Tress. We don’t have another unit ready yet, but I could have one delivered in a few weeks. The palace bought up seven units.”
“The palace?! What… What did the queen think?” Halli asked.
“She has a personal unit just for herself. Her Majesty loved the Flight Mode.” Caeldaemos answered.
Halli watched the group of four successfully defeat the boar with some injuries to their avatars.
The other trainees cheered at their success and congratulated them as the group exited the units.
“Alright. I’ll take them. Is there a waiting list for these yet?” Halli asked.
“Not yet. We are still improving our manufacturing, so the units are limited. Right now, we have quite a few units on standby for a larger project in Hallibrush.” Caeldaemos replied, feeling awkward about lying. The truth was that they already had twelve spare units. Rana argued that they shouldn’t make the units too available or their price would drop.
“What is that?”
Liara smiled. “A battle arena. A location where people can come and watch battles live. Fighting in the arena will also be rewarded with each win. The more people a fighter brings to the arena, the more money they can earn. All of it will be done with the LG Simulators, so no death or serious injuries.”
“We will also host various other types of events. Team battles, free-for-alls, boss raids, and even races.” Caeldaemos said.
Halli’s mouth hung open in shock.
Both Caeldaemos and Liara laughed at the sight of the man.
Halli cleared his throat, a bit embarrassed. “I see. It sounds like quite the attraction.”
“We will welcome all races to come to compete or watch,” Caeldaemos stated with a smile.
“All races?” Halli was surprised.
Caeldaemos warmly smiled. “Yeah. That’s the goal.”
“Interesting,” Halli commented as Caeldaemos returned to the units to answer some questions.
“There is an additional cost we require of you.” Liara chimed in.
Halli groaned, dreading what the troublesome woman was going to hit him with.
“In exchange for the last unit, we require that you establish a branch office in Hallibrush,” Liara said to Halli with a sly smile.
Halli sighed heavily. “That was your goal…”
Liara laughed. “Not entirely. It was only a part. You know very well how much I care about these kids surviving.”
A fond smile came to the man’s face. “I understand.”
He looked at the latest group of young mercenaries fighting against a trio of wolves.
“I will get the paperwork together and contact the Counsel of Mercenaries,” Halli told her.
The Counsel of Mercenaries was the top brass that oversaw all mercenary guild branches. There were fifty members of the council that represented regions around the world. Each one of them was an ex-Rank 10 mercenary with backing from royals.
If a new branch was to be opened, it would need the council’s permission as they would have to discuss who would be responsible for it amongst themselves.
“Do you think the old dog will get it?” Liara asked.
“More than likely. Master Ultun is the one responsible for the region where you are. You should warn your husband about the future.” Halli said with a chuckle.
“True. The old dog is likely to show up for a fight.” Liara shook her head while shrugging her shoulders.
Caeldaemos approached them once he felt the young mercenaries understood how to use the LG simulator.
“Well?” He asked.
“Halli has agreed,” Liara replied.
Caeldaemos smiled and extended his hand. “Thanks, Halli.”
Halli took Caeldaemos’ hand and shook it. “A pleasure doing business with you, your lordship.”
Caeldaemos’ face scrunched up, causing Halli and Liara to laugh. He was still not used to being addressed as a noble by friends yet, and it caused him to cringe.
