I was falling to sleep, but then I heard something that picked me back up. I followed the feeling unable to feel anyone as I followed the voice guiding me to something. I saw that I was being led to short old stairs, so I was taken out of this weird brain fog I was in. All I could see was an old train station brought to life like it was brand new. It had to be midnight, but I walked into the station and I saw people waiting on benches for a train seems like it. I walked forward into the station until I got to the platform and then a transparent train pulls into the station passing.
I stood there in awe and wonder of how beautiful it looked very intricate, an oriental design to every part of it. Then stopping people started to stand up all around me and then I saw a well-dressed man. He looked like a conductor or someone who would take your tickets.
"All aboard ye weary souls," says the man.
I wasn't sure if I was being seen or what was really going on. all the people started to ascend the stairs to go into the train and once they were all away from the platform of the station. Then the man looked at me and said "what are you waiting for?". I debated what he was meaning, should I get on? and where would it go?.
Then I heard a voice from behind me say "she isn't dead sir, but go on about your business with the dead and I'll be doing my business".
I turned around to see who it is and it was Silva, what is he doing here?.
"if that is what the necromancer, what's he gets," he says and winks at me.
I'm so confused about what is going on right now, I wanted to say something to the man. Then thought better of it, What is the man anyways? Silva seems to know him. I don't feel comfortable calling him dad yet, but maybe I'll get used to him. I will be living with him after all, so might as well relax around him. He does look like me so maybe he isn't lying, he might be biologically my father.

The train started up and went away as if it wasn't ever here, to begin with. I really looked around the station and saw everything worn out like it has stopped being used years ago. I finally passed out from exhaustion and being overwhelmed. The next thing I know is I woke up on the couch and looked around, but almost thought all of it was a dream.
Then I sat up and saw Silva sitting in the chair from last night, but it was facing me this time. He was asleep, but he must have heard me wake up and opened his eyes. He must have been worried about me, well I hope he actually cares. The only father I've ever had just abandoned me like I was nothing to him the whole time, so right now I have trust issues. I tried to shake everything off, all my doubts don't matter right now.
"I imagine you have a lot of questions for me, I'm all ears if you want to ask anything," Silva says.
"I mostly want to know why am I here? and why did I get abandoned here?" I say moving to sit properly.
"Well I suspect that Don, he might expect you not to ask questions and get caught up in a reunion," he says.
I thought about that and nodded, that seemed right. He is probably long gone by now and I still need to find out about the end of the night. The night train and why were people out that early. I decided to ask about the trainman and then Damon came into the room with three cups. Smelling the air not acting odd at all and I could smell something like cinnamon, but what else.
"I know you can smell that, it is cinnamon rolls from our bakery," Damon says.
He put the tray down on the coffee table and went over to Silva. I could tell they might be married, but trying not to show it and was probably worried about how I feel. I smile and thank Damon and take a deep breath.
"well, what is the deal with the train guy? I need to know" I say hitting hard with the question.
They look at each other and then at me "he is like a soul transit for soul catchers to get their fill of people ghosts".
" Then why do you know him? now be honest" I say trying to get answers. They sigh and both look like I wasn't quite grasping my situation at all.
