State of the Story 2

Hello everyone!

Like my previous SoS, Chapter 32 is the end of Arc 2 for this book. There is a lot of lore to explore there, and I took these chapters to explore the world a bit more. Arc 3 will be the end of this book, and because of that I would like to ask a question to my readers.

Q: Which story would you like to have next? Currently I have three on the back of the stove, and each is tied to the Realms in it's own way.

1. In Yarin, The City of Silence, those that speak it's secrets are those that never speak. Set in the world of Erdalith it's a smaller, progression fantasy story that revolves around a trio of children who join together to break the Silence. With a touch of eldritch horror here and there.

2. To the stone carvers there is no treasure greater then a vein of precious metal. Until a man uncovers a door to a Realm beyond, and that changes forever. Set in the world of Avril this is a story about the rise of an empire, and the cost of magic.

This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.

3. It was called many things, by many people, across the world; Hollow Night, The Black Moon, Rapture. To those that remained it was chaos and a struggle to survive a collapsing world. For those that were taken, it was a horror born from their darkest fears. Set in the world of Inverse this is a story about a family who is taken to this inside out world, because of a crime they all share. For when gods play chess, and bet the existence of the human race. None can avoid the Mists.

As you can see these other stories have some rough concepts created for them, but each have their own charm. I would like a few suggestions for which one, and if you have an idea you would like to see instead. I might be able to draw something up for it as well. As a note, I will not be writing multiple stories at the same time on RR. I will be finishing a story in some way, shape, or form before starting a new one. The endings might lead to questions, but they will be a firm end of the story and plot.

About my schedule, no writing will be done until after New Years for obvious reasons of editing. My goal is to get the 3rd Arc finished in April of next year.

To all my readers! Thank you for the comments, reviews, and follows as it has helped motivate me through these months of writing. Hope you all have good holidays!
