As we entered the forest we were surrounded by lots of lush greenery all around us. As I was following behind Jane I pulled up my status and took a quick look at it.

As I kept following Jane for a couple minutes I noticed that she stopped walking all of a sudden before starting to scan the surroundings with her eyes. Seeing her like this I also stopped and became alert in preparation for a possible attack. After a couple of seconds of us just silently scanning the surroundings with our eyes in search of an enemy, just when I was starting to feel like there was no enemy near us I saw a pair of glowing red eyes suddenly look at us through a bush.
Immediately seeing those eyes my body tensed up as I prepared myself to dodge if it attacked and used my Identify skill on it, as I felt my mana being consumed a small window popped up showing the result of the skill.

As I am reading the identify result, the rabbit suddenly lunges at Jane while making a screeching noise and baring its fangs which is weird to see in the mouth of a rabbit. It had fluffy white fur like a normal rabbit but also had a pair of red eyes and fangs which clearly showed it was not a rabbit but a monster. While I was observing as the rabbit attacked, I saw Jane raise one of her front claws to swipe at the rabbit pouncing at her which glowed in a soft blue light. As the rabbit's fangs neared Jane's shoulder, I saw her claw connect with the side of the rabbit's head and instantly the claw dug into flesh and ripped a big chunk of it. Jane elegantly twisted her body to prevent the rabbit's fangs from biting her before retreating a little and suddenly meowing at me.
“Meow. ” (Hey quickly attack that rabbit while it is still reeling from the pain of my attack. )
As I heard her meow at me I immediately snapped out of my stupor and used my Mana Bullet skill to attack the rabbit. As the skill activated I felt my mana drain before a small orb of Mana formed in front of me before it automatically shot towards the injured rabbit's head. As the rabbit turned its head towards us to attack again its head was suddenly pierced straight through by the small orb forming a clean circular hole through its head before the orb hit a tree behind it and dissipated after damaging the tree a little. As the rabbit's body after being pierced straight through its head fell to the ground, a ding sounded as a couple of notifications popped up.

“Meow meow. ” (Nice I leveled up twice also Jane I am sorry I froze up there for a sec and didn't help you in time. )
“Meow meow. ” (No problem it's understandable for you to freeze up like that after all it's the first time you are fighting a monster even if it is just a fodder monster. )
“Meow meow. ” (By the way do you know how the experience gained from killing monsters is calculated. )
“Meow meow. ” (From what I know it's a fixed amount of exp multiplied by the level of the monster and the fixed amount for F-Rank is 5 exp so we got 25 exp from that level 5 rabbit as it is 5*5. )
“Meow meow. ” (Hmm I see well anyway let's go see if we can find more of these fodder monsters after all I doubt we can kill any of the real mobs at our level. )
“Meow meow, meow. ” (Indeed we should farm these fodder mobs until we reach a decent level as the monsters are at least lvl.25 at the lowest. )
Afterwards, we continued deeper into the dungeon though after going deeper for a while we started to go sideways to circle the safe zone. This way we could always return to the safe zone if a monster appears and we can also return there when we are tired.
