1st person POV.

After having finished the introductions, I did as Jane asked and tried to open the Quests Tab.

Hmm, I see now I get why Jane told me to look at the quest tab. According to this side quest, if we fail to escape this fancy bedroom we will end up dying. This is indeed a serious situation.

“Meow? ” (Hey Jane, have you made any progress in the side quest yet. )

At my question, she shook her adorable cat head in denial while meowing.

“Meow meeeow. ” (No, I haven't done anything yet other than reading through those system tabs and waking you up. )

“Meow… meow meeeow meow ” (Hmm… I see then I suggest we first look around the room for a key or some other useful item as it looks like the only door out of here is locked. )

“Purr. ” (Okay, on it)

“Meow! Meeeow? ” (Wait a sec! I had forgotten this detail before but how are you not panicking in this situation even though you are a 10-year-old girl? )

As I asked this question to Jane, her body went stiff for a second before she started to meow.

“Meeeow meow. ” (Weeell you see, it's because I am actually not the 10-year-old girl that you think I am. )

Huh, what does she mean?

“Meow meow, meeeow… ” (I am actually part of the Former Gemini but due to the death of the other part of the former Gemini, I had to go into hiding and after that, you know the rest sooo… )

Wait a fucking second, is she saying she's not human but the former Gemini and that I ended up dragging myself into a mess that I should have just stayed out of forever. I wanna punch my self-righteous sense of justice because of which I ended up becoming a cat that is locked in a room which if I can't escape in time then I will die. As I was wallowing in my stupidity, Jane started to meow again.

“Me… meow! ” (Um… I'm really sorry for dragging you into this so sorry! )

As she apologized to me, she also looked at me with super adorable marble cat eyes. Seeing those sparkling cute cat eyes, I really can't help but forgive her.

“Meeeow. ” (Fiiine, anyway let's just first find a way out of here before anything else. )

“Purr, meow. ” (Sure no problem, hehe I knew you would forgive me. )

“Meow! ” (Whatever! Just go and search the place. )

As she scurried off to search the room, I couldn't help but get very curious about how the former Gemini's other part died. Though I decided to put off the topic for now as surviving this side quest comes before anything else.

This skill passively grants system access to the user. Currently heavily sealed and cursed causing its level to decrease immensely.

True Fusion lvl.1 (Unique):

This is a unique skill that allows the user to merge with their other half and become complete by merging their soul, fate, body, and existence to achieve true and perfect fusion. This skill passively maintains the link between the two parts.

Current effect time: 1Min of fusion.

Elegance lvl.1:

This skill passively makes the user move gracefully and elegantly like a cat.

Hmm, looks like all the active skills require Mana so I should use my 10 mana sparingly, especially since that identify skill could prove highly useful.

“Meow. ” (Anyways let's go and help Jane search the room. )

As I jumped down from the fluffy bed, I walked over to the only door in the room. Which was weird as there was no window here and only that one door. After coming to the door, I used my Identify skill on it.

Crudely Enchanted Door

Enchantment: Lesser Physical attack resistance.

Key item: ?

Hmm, I wonder whether a Low magic grade is good or bad. Though if the enchantment is for physical attacks, I wonder if the Mana bullet skill of mine would count as a magic attack and actually work on this door. Then we won't even need the key, though I should probably save that as a last resort as I should try to conserve as much mana as I can. This door is so thick that I think even if I could effectively hit it, it would still take quite a few Mana bullets.

“Meow meow meow. ” (Well, let's go and see if I can find the key Item though I guess it would have been nice if the Identify skill could have identified that information as well. )

Oh well, the skill was useful anyways.
