In the middle of a small, far-off village, there lay a mountaintop in the middle of it.
Yes, a mountaintop. In the exact center of the town.
The villagers walked happily about, shouting abuse at little children running around through the mountaintop.
Yes, through the mountaintop. Do I have to keep repeating myself or will you actually realize whoever cuts off a goddammed mountaintop to set up his home in and put it in the middle of a village where people already live is crazy, has shit taste, and should not be trusted?
This owner of this mountaintop (who didn't have enough self-respect to at least get an entire mountain as his home) was the cause of this. He was the famed spacial master, Chu Cheng.
He, to the despair of his disciples, decided to shove their home into a parallel dimension which just so happened to overlap with a village because according to him it was the perfect hiding spot since everyone would expect his home to be in some secluded unknown area. His fifth disciple, Murong Yingyue, wholeheartedly agreed while his other disciples looked on in confusion.
In the half-assed courtyard of the mountaintop.
In the west wing.
In the kitchen.
A black-robed man was rummaging through cupboards. The man was very handsome, with fair white skin and an attractive body. The man looked like a classic pretty boy- except for his eyes. One eye was a cold silver color, while the other eye was gold. His eyes had a mischievous glint to them, narrowed in delight.
Finally, he pulled out a white porcelain cup. It was exceptionally ornate, red designs traced with gold running over the cup. The man grinned triumphantly. He took out a vial of clear liquid from his sleeve and uncapped it.
“Hehe, Master will regret giving me that assignment. If it weren't for him, how could Fifth Junior Sister ever see I, Yun Siye, in such a state?” He grit his teeth when he thought about the incident.
He took out a swab of cotton, dipping it into the vial. The cotton was then carefully applied to the rim of the cup. The man gave another wicked smile before blowing on the cup to dry it.
“This concoction is made especially for you. I know you'll let down your guard after coming out of seclusion, so you’d never think of this!” He said, continuing to talk aloud to himself for the sake of giving some context without making too many italicized lines.
A sudden crash outside of the kitchen made the man flinch, dropping the cup on to the ground, shattering it into several pieces. His eyes widened. Crap! Yun Siye twisted his body towards where the noise came from.
Who could it be? Third Junior Sister only went into seclusion a month ago, so it can’t be her. And Fifth Junior Sister is still out on a mission... An intruder? It shouldn’t be that either, our protection formation was strengthened at the beginning of the month. No way, it can’t be Master, can it?
He hastily swept the broken cup pieces under the cabinet and rushed out. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw a girl in green collapsed on the ground, but then immediately tensed up again.
“Fifth Junior Sister? What happened? Who bullied you? I will kill them for you, just tell me who!” He approached her, crouching down to speak with her. Yun Siye was worried. He had just seen her yesterday, to take revenge on her by sealing her cultivation, and in only a day, she was on flat on the courtyard grounds.
The girl in green, Murong Yingyue let out a groan, then turned over and puked on the ground.
"Fuck, I’ll never use one of Master’s teleportation talismans again.” She paused. “At least not for a distance this far.” She flicked her hand and burned away the puke on the ground. Then she looked up. Her veil had been lost through her trip back home, and her face could be seen quite clearly as it twisted up in anger. She had a very babyish looking face, with round cheeks, white skin, and red lips. In other words, she looked very cute. However, the words that came out of her mouth were the furthest thing from cute.
“You dogshit asshole, this is all your fault! I should kill you for all this!” How do you plan to take responsibility if my main character status gets solidified? I’ve already been through the family member scheming against the main character, the “desperate” chase, the “hopeless situation,” the discovery of the hidden spot, the “life or death” situation, and now, I think I just met the stalkerish creepy male lead! Ahhh, so many of them already, I just need the tragic past and the insta-enemy making aura!
Thinking of all those points made her head hurt from the stress. She brandished her dagger, pointing it at her Second Senior Brother. The trip through the space tunnel was very rough, but she had managed to hold on to this dagger since she had put it in her space ring.
“What? Wait, when did you take one of my daggers? I thought Master took one-”
“Shut the hell up! I don’t want to hear your annoying voice! This is all your fault!” Yingyue pounced on him, pushing him over until they rolled into the shrubbery. She attempted a stab, but he hastily grabbed her arm. She wrenched her arm away and they both jumped off each other at the same time.

“How-” Yun Siye started.
“I said to shut up, so shut up and let me talk!” Yingyue stepped closer to him and angled the dagger in her hand down to his “weak spot”. Siye gulped, swallowing any words he had to say.
“This is because you sealed my cultivation!” Her Second Senior Brother looked surprised but then nodded along to her words. His face seemed to say okay, so it’s about this. He then raised an eyebrow - So you got beat up since you don’t have your spiritual power? Pathetic.
“Shut the fuck up! Did you really think I would get beat up without my cultivation? Don’t look surprised, I know what you’re thinking! I had to teleport because I got stuck in a shit situation and then I ended up meeting this creepy guy and then he kept harassing me and then it turned out he was stronger than me even after my seal was taken off and then-”
“WAIT! WHAT? Your power was unsealed? There was a creepy guy? A shit situation?” He questioned. “That last one’s a bit of a tongue twister.” Yun Siye said as an afterthought.
“Yes, and I had to use the talisman to-”
“Who undid the seal?” Siye asked urgently.
“Stop cutting me off! I already told you to shut up.”
“Just answer the question!” Murong Yingyue frowned but reluctantly answered the question.
“The creepy guy.” She said petulantly. Her Second Senior Brother paled.
“I made the seal so only I could remove it before it dissipated. Fifth Junior Sister, just who did you provoke?” He wailed.
“Calm down.” Yingyue rolled her eyes. “I didn’t provoke him. If anything, he provoked me!” Then she smirked. “Heh, seems like this guy is far stronger than you. He looked about your age, so doesn’t that mean you’re actually not the best in your generation? The mighty Yun Siye actually isn’t that mighty after all!”
“I specialize in poison! Not martial arts! And I only study formations on the side. If it comes to killing, I am definitely the best!” She scoffed, turning away as she walked towards her cottage. She slammed the door shut behind her.
"Yeah, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night."
"What is that supposed to mean? Believe it or not, but this Senior Brother of yours is actually very strong!" He boasted.
"Strong? Then how did Feifei beat the crap out of you last year when you unintentionally peeked on her?" She looked at her dusty floor, annoyed that Yun Siye had dumped it on her floor as part of his revenge.
"I wasn't fighting back! I let her beat me up!"
"'Let her beat me up' my ass! Is it because of guilt? Could it be that you actually intended on peeking on her?" She accused. She knew it was by accident, but she still brought it up to fluster Yun Siye.
"Yingyue, you know as well as I do that I didn't mean to do that. Besides, are you sure you're not just jealous that you're not as strong as me?" She scowled.
"Fuck you! You also know that I barely try to cultivate. Are you sure you're not just jealous that I can cultivate faster than you?"
"Hah, big talk for someone who only has their cultivation. You don't even know anything else apart from some martial arts knowledge. I can create poisons and formations, Third Junior Sister can use the sword and practices alchemy, and what can you do? Nothing! And you even suck at cultivating!"
“I won’t talk to you anymore!” Those things were very boring okay? She had no idea how those stupid transmigrators or tragic main characters were so supremely talented in some subject or another. Humph. Seems like the super genius main lead is another copout from authors. What "similar to another thing in the world they came from?" What "simply extremely naturally gifted?" Utter fucking bullshit! I call hacks!
“Too late! You were just talking to me!” No response.
“Hey, wait, Fifth Junior Sister, what did this man look like?” Murong Yingyue continued ignoring him, focused on changing her clothes. Yun Siye went up to her door and banged on it.
Yingyue refused to answer him, inspecting the inside of her wardrobe. What should I wear? I need to change out of this dress before Master sees it. I already know he’s going to react badly if he sees me wearing it.
Another bang resounded in her small cottage, the door shaking slightly despite its protection formations.
“You brute, don’t destroy my door! If you do, I can't guarantee that I won't shove a cactus so far up your ass you'll be spitting out needles! We have enough pricks on this mountain as is!” She finally called out, tying up her freshly put on light blue robes. Mhmm, Yes. Blue is the best color, the color of intelligence, the color of calm... Her thoughts were interrupted by another hard knock on her door. Calm... what a certain Short-tempered Second Senior Brother isn’t...
“Answer my question already!” She strode angrily towards the door. She opened it, pursing her lips when she saw Yun Siye had raised his hand again to slam into her door.
“Fine. He was good looking. Nice biceps. A decent collarbone and pecs. Where’s Master? I need to ask him about this guy.”
“It’s April. He won’t be out until next month.” He answered carelessly. “Give me an actual description of him, not his body. Did he have any special features? Birthmarks?”
“Birthmarks?” She furrowed her eyebrows. “What, do you think I have a hobby of looking at naked men’s bodies? How should I know if he had any birthmarks?”
“I know you saw his body. You were just talking about his biceps!”
“Don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Fifth Junior Sister, please! I promise not to seal your cultivation ever again!” Satisfied with the promise she had wrangled out of him, she gave him a proper reply.
“He had long white hair.”
“White hair?”
“Yeah. And red eyes.” Now that I think of it, he’s probably some special race. Maybe he’s some prince or king of some demons. Sounds like what some authors would write him out as.
'Was he wearing a green robe?"
"Yeah, so what if he was?"
“Yingyue,” He said. “Please stay away from him. He’s dangerous. I’m serious. Hah, luckily for you, he rarely comes down to the lower world, so you should be fine. He should be leaving soon. Unless you provoked him somehow?”
“I- Hey! Master is here. I thought you said he wouldn’t be out?” Yingyue pointed over his shoulder.
“What?” He turned around. Behind him, an ethereally beautiful man was staggering around lifelessly towards the kitchens. He had bright red hair and golden eyes, and he wore a garishly red robe, which drifted weightlessly behind him.
