> To perform a genocide, you must first find the race you wish to slaughter.
>
> The best option, are the elves. Real pieces of work; 'Oh, I'm a friend of nature, the spirits love me; I can't possibly be an insufferable twat'. Riding on their high horse, taking the moral high ground above us 'Immoral savages', always spewing nonsense about how I'm 'An abhorrent monster' and that I 'Unjustly massacred their entire family'- Which was completely just in manner for the record.
>
> And don't get me started with the arch elves; Every time they open their mouth it's 'World tree that', 'God of life that', blah blah blah. They praise a corrupt god, and sanction an invasive species into their territory; They must all be purged.
>
> Though you could go for dwarves, I would rather recommend the other short race since they're actually quite kind after you show yourself worthy of it. Of course, there are always a few individuals in every race that deserve to crushed in the most brutal and horrific way feasibly possible for their arrogance.

Falc confidently chuckled to himself as no one had figured out that the real exit was right above the entrance!
But the sentients had found that hole to the kill room; Which lacked any killing efficacy. So he obviously had to start making more and more acid spewing slimes, but... Since he seemed to have time, he may have started to take a look at what all that mana was going to. He really, really, really, didn't like paying that extra mana.
If he comprehended how to make slimes shoot out acid on his own, then wouldn't he be able to maybe enhance the acid shot a bit? Or maybe create an uncommon monster? That was the only thing left for him to become an uncommon core- Apperently. It was what his instincts were telling him, though he didn't trust them that much since it was the reason he was even at risk right now.
But even then, he could not risk it even if he absolutely hated seeing mana disappearing into the aether.
But before he properly finished any acid-shooting slime, he took a quick look at the extra parts added. It was alike to the weave keeping the slime together and it had integrated with said weave as well, sectioning off a small part of the space for itself. From what Falc could see, it was more complicated than the weave but it would not be impossible to replicate.
The most difficult thing was all the loops, they were completely unnecessary from what he could see, but who knew? Falc definitely didn't.
After giving the thumbs up and letting the slime live, he put a wisp of himself on it to keep it from spewing acid all over the place. Then he made another slime with his favourite and only skill, finding something strange; The loops were in different places now! It was a D-9 just like the previous, but somehow there were loops in new places!
'Hmm...' After bringing another life into the world and assuring it didn't destroy his stuff, he made a slime. And then he found something really strange, the weave he remembered in the other two slimes were of the same outside of the {Acid shot} section, but that had taken a portion of the space for itself... So where did the original mana go?
He couldn't help but feel suspicious as he twisted the strings of mana partially and added more mana in order to allow the threads to loop like they were supposed to along with making the pattern- Even if he had to retry a few times- And finally succeeded, noting it down as 'Acid test 01' and letting it live for the time being.
Then it he quickly noted down how much extra mana it had cost to transform the section of weave into {Acid shot}, a total of 1.3 mp. Yep, less than 2 'I knew it! I goddamned knew it!'
That damn shop had been scamming him by sneakily increasing mp costs by replacing mana instead of repurposing it! He would never again rely on the skill shop to integrate skills into his monsters, as long as it wasn't actually urgent.
With confirmation of the absolute scam that was the skill shop, Falc made another slime; But this time just removed the extraneous loops out right. And since the loops weren't there anyways, he could increase efficiency a bit by letting the threads be in constant tension. And with a simple tap, his wondrous creation was brought to life! A monument to tax evasion, and apostle of freedom; 'Sacrificial lab rat'!
Falc quickly scrapped the previous scam-inspired blueprint and registered a new one; 'Acid slime'.
Due to your relentless will, and staunch suspicion, you Falc, have seen through the lies of capitalist society, and have found a far cheaper manner of doing the same simultaneously.
You have gained the title;

Falc felt proud of himself, he had seen through the darkness and become a herald of tomorrow.
He had taken the cost of a normal slime with
With joy in his heart, he created three acid slimes- Which what he had decided to call the little buggers that existed only to shoot acid and nothing else- Within the tunnels that would lead to his core from the slime plains. With the fact that none of the sentients could stand upright and that they'd be going face forwards it would be extremely easy for one of the slimes to coat their oval flesh bag on the top of their bigger bag of flesh with a complimentary layer of acid.
And from what he could see, the head was a fatal weakspot!
Oh, and of course, he set up some higher-class slimes, D-4 with
Well, it was kind of annoying that now he had too little left of himself to get down to creating a new slime variant. He already had the name in his head; 'Slime paragon'.
-Basically, a D-100 slime with as many skills as he could possibly force into it.
He finally got this little idea after proudly reverse engineering
Then he also realized he could upgrade his second title if he got an uncommon schematic , though he didn't specifically know what that entailed, he could feel his instincts telling him it was good- Even if they weren't that reliable.
But how could he make an uncommon schematic, he somehow knew that uncommon meant 'Not common', which could be extrapolated to the fact it was a rank above common, which he then reasoned to be better than common. So if he wanted to get an uncommon schematic, he would have to make a schematic good enough to be considered as such. So of course, he needed to make the pinnacle of his current means; A super slime, a paragon of slimes.
But yea, he probably couldn't make it yet even if he had his full capabilities considering the amount of mana that it would cost along with the time-investment required. But he was certain to make it, as like, maybe his final line of defense? He wasn't totally sure how powerful it'd be, since he didn't really have anything to scale it against- And it wasn't even a real, existing, thing yet.
But, since he had nothing he could really do- Except produce a few more acid slimes in the tunnels- So he started to look for a new monster skill to reverse engineer.
Of course, his first choice would be
Common
Allows for the user to split into two, with a high chance of mutation and variation of off-spring generated through it.
*Can only be used by single-celled or liquid-based monsters.
12 essence.
This meant that if he put it on a slime, specifically a high-investment slime, it'd be able to split itself into two of itself! Though the fact that there would be mutation and variation might've put off the average dungeon core, he believed that if there was a problematic mutation, that the sentients would be kind enough to cull it for him!
Though there was a slight question, did this so called 'Mutation and variation' have any guarantee to be either positive, neutral, or negative in nature? Another question, did it also effect skills? Because... That'd be pretty cool actually.
After a bit of thought at the possibilities, he finally concluded that this purchase would bring greatness to the Navator name.
Thank you for your patronage Falc Navator!
*To gift a skill to your chosen monster, all you must do is think of it said skill while in the creation process, and it shall ask you whether or not you wish to gift it in exchange for an amount of mana.
...The same message as before, kind of lazy to be honest. But Falc was not one to choose, he had no real ability to choose actually, this was his only option for getting new skills to his knowledge. And he was kind of busy inspecting a newly formed slime with
It cost a total of 7 mp, which was a lot less than he expected, considering that the skill effected a far larger amount of weave than
After about a dozen mp of waiting- Which wasn't that much considering he was constantly creating slimes in the slime plains- The blue-ish ball of liquid bound by mana had revealed to a smaller blue-ish ball of liquid bound by mana, and a barf-green with a tinge of pink oozing slime that was barely able to hop about. Falc looked at the small little blue original slime and wondered with a certain amount of dread:
'So... is it going to stay like this, or...'
Sadly, no matter how long he waited, it stayed with half the volume it originally had. He was scammed, this time in a unique way. He really had to give props to whoever was selling him skills, they were truly a master of their craft.
