> It has been a decade since the mad god's demise, and I find it an apt time to put together a few facts to share the few within the public who are interested in truth.
>
> The mad god was a man, not a true god, he was known as the 'Wandering heretic' and 'Church slayer' in his early days, though it is unknown what his original identity was.
>
> It is unknown what his class was, or if he even used one. But we are sure he used both sword and magic in combat as if it were an extension of himself, he used a complex combination of elements to increase the damage he could do with the same amount of mana, which led to madness. You see, madness is known for it's difficulty to control, to tame, to have not kill it's user, and also it's high power.
>
> The mad god did not have some extraordinary mind that he used to subjugate the madness, his usage of madness was artistic in his early years, as if a the proper progression from a {Magus} to something of a higher order. But in his later days, madness seemed to bend to his will without any difficulty, his madness based skills so high level that madness became just like a regular spell.
>
> Though sadly this great man disappeared, and all that remained was an empty shell kept together by intense abhorrence and lunacy of the highest order.

Falc had reasonably used about 30~ MP to make a variant C++ slime, and the weave was surprisingly stable, it had a noticeable decrease on the draw of Falc's mental resources compared to a normal weave.
But sadly, Falc had reached a point where the mana strings were too small to properly forge. So the next variant was created! Variant D!
Variant D was where three C++ threads were spun into a single stand of mana and weaved like the variant C+ slime, it took at least three times as much mana as a variant C++ and a bit more time than that. But then the ever industrious Falc started to make C++ threads in batches to increase speed.
And since the proper weaving of variant D strands takes far too much time, it doesn't make any real detriment (No waiting for mana regen for Falc).
But now it was time for Falc's master plan to be put into action, he made the mystical D+. Where you forge a D strand and then intertwine it with two other forged D strand, then repeat. Now you may be wondering, is all this effort to make a variant D9(9 plusses) actually worth it? Compared to other monsters that aren't slimes, hell no! But compared to the original template, it was incomparable.
Actually, If you drop the variant D9 from 5 meters high, it will not become a weird puddle on the floor, and will just bounce slightly on the floor. It might've taken a lot of time, and he may have also skipped D2 to D8. Then the final garnish to Falc's ascension, the first of his imagined innovations, the 4th dimensional, double weave!
Every increase in the D-series slimes rank decreases mental necessity, so, will a D9 slime allow for a double weave?
No, no it doesn't, even if the amount of focus a D9 weave requires is less than the normal weave, it still takes to much. So the supreme master of slimes Falc did industrialization 2.0. Make giant batches of 81 C++ threads for a D4 strand in a single process. so, you intertwine those C++'s into a D1 strands, then you put three of those D1's together, then put three of those together, then once more. And then you forge until it's as big as a C+ strand minimum, and then you get a D4 in the time it takes to regen 4 MP, which means you can make another D4!
Now please understand how long it took for Falc to make a D9 thread, and then that an entire weave was made of the stuff. And now Falc was on a journey of finding a D-series that allows for a normal weave above it, and that means that he will weave and unravel countless times, which will take a long time, and give the sentient races waiting for his appearance a few wrinkles.

"Dad, how long do I have to wait! It's been days!" A boy complained against to the {Mad rogue}, it had been two weeks since the prophesy came from the great elder, and the dungeon still hadn't opened up.
The cultist of the mad god laughed apologetically "Sorry Andrew, we don't really know when it'll open, just that it's there. Now, let's play with magic, aren't you excited to try out
"Really?" Andrew shouted out excitedly "Didn't mom say that I wasn't allowed to use those?"
The father exclaimed confidently "As long as you don't tell, I won't either. 'Come on, let's go to the forest."
The father-son pair walked into the forest as the adventurers that came for the dungeon and others set up camp around the village that housed the mad god's cult.
The rogue quickly captured a deer with his bare hands, quite an easy thing to do for higher leveled adventurers. Though the {Mad rogue} wasn't an adventurer, he would soon be one, since he needed to hide his madness class.
Now, Andrew found himself in front of a legless deer on the ground "I believe in you Andrew, you can do this. All you need to do is a single Arcane bolt to the head."
Andrew was excited, he was never allowed to try out his spells on living subjects. He cleared his throat and forced his mana into the spell created from his chanting "O' mana, obey me as one appointed by the mad god, reject the sanity of the natural world, and twist into an artificial chimera of magic; Arcane bolt!"
In front of Andrew's palm a very light mana that released semi-blue light was packed unnaturally, just from looking at it, you could tell that Andrew was having trouble keeping it in check. Just before he lost control, the arcane bolt was released right towards the nearby head of the deer.
As it released Andrew was blasted back, his hand whizzing past his head as a great impact released, killing the deer instantly.

Andrew laughed proudly with no regret or second thought about the life he took, it was but a deer
"Wasn't that fun Andrew," The father of the pair asked "Now think what you could do if you trained your skills to the level of the great elder."
Andrew paused before asking "Dad, what the great elder's highest skill level?"

"Haha, I'm honestly not sure, but at least one is at level 40."
"Whoa.."
----------------------------------------
Falc focused with all his might, as he put a normal weave right above his D13's weave. He strained his mind to it's farthest edge, if he had to make an entire weave of D14, he would have to use so much time, do you know how many forges a triple strand of D13 would take to get to D14? Well it takes at least 40 of them! But luckily, it seemed that Falc had some room for error.
After failing repeatedly in making a traditional weave, Falc got irritated and just went C++, it wasn't even that hard, making things in batches and not having to put at least... 3^14=4782969 strands of C++ down individually, you can see how much easier it is, right?
It was so calming and unstressful to make simple C++ with all the practice Falc had, it had become so easy. Easier than breathing actually, since it was really annoying to breathe manually.
And as such, Variant D14-0 had been born, and Falc was just done with this shit.
Due to your endless patience, curiosity and fear, you *Nameless*,
Innovated and improved one of the weakest and inefficient schematics,
And created something o' so powerful compared to the original,
You have gained the title;
Schematic technician PS; It is recommended that you get a name.
'A name, huh, what's a good name...' I say, your name is Falc, for a consistent narrative! 'Falc Navator would be a good name I guess.'
Falc, Schematic technician, Navator MP; 4.623/10.001 Essence; 0 Schematics Quest Skills Common Aspects
'That's good, I guess.' Falc thought as he focused on the words 'Schematic technician'.
Common Schematic technician
One who improves/modifies certain aspects of a schematic to create marginally stronger monsters.
-The owner of this title can brag about it
*The owner of this title gains a slight increase of 1% in their proficiency of handling mana for the creation of a new variant.
'That's good, but I'm not making another variant D14-0 slime, I still need to make a proper dungeon.' Falc quickly looked at his slime storage, and saw that one of the slimes, well a few of the slimes were making those parts inside of them, this time he wouldn't screw this process up and just let the extremely valuable D14-0 slime age like a fine wine with it's older but lesser siblings.
Then suddenly, the instinct that was yelling, screaming, and even punching him mentally, just to have him open up to the surface, finally got strong enough to man handle him into doing so. Falc tried his best to resist, but could not. He sighed mentally in defeat, then he told it that he would do it, but he would make a dungeon first.
The instinct finally calmed down after Falc had steeled itself to follow it's wishes, which gave the crystalline being a respite 'Time to get to work'
For some reason Falc had no drive to make a good floor like when he was just born, so he skimped out and decided to just make a confusing 3 dimensional cave maze-like floor. He wouldn't make it 'Adventurer friendly' to attract more sentients, why would he? His instincts told him that sentients were dangerous, and he was very weak if compared to the average dungeon newly born dungeon.
So he had to use some mind games to keep adventurers off his track.
First; From the south of his little cube, he made a straight fall just like the slime pit, and then from the bottom of the cubical pit, a rough cave was mined out, which then started to split out into multiple different caves, all individually mined out. Then a few dozen dead-ends were added, and a little entrance to a lower, more ordered layer of a large cubic room was made.
His instincts were screaming that he needed to get to the lower 'Floor', but he didn't. This was called a 'Mind game'. He makes an entrance to a place that any other core would put themselves into, and if sentients were sentient and often had interactions with dungeon cores, that'd mean they'd think he was hidden there instead of in one of the many dead-ends.
Then one more 'Mind-game', well more like a stalling tactic, the one cave that properly split from the cave system was turned into an extremely scuffed stair case, and then he just kept adding to it, spiral stair cases, a bout of 'Cavern fever', ect.
Those were the protocol of Plan; 'No die today', which could be upgraded at a later date.
This took a while, like way too much time. He just had no practice in this 'Ugh, I'd rather make another D14-0.'
Falc used his power to make a more normal 'floor' like area at the top, with rooms and stairs to make a more liniar path for the adventurers, of course there was a little mind game. In the 4th room in the perspective of the adventures, their pathway/hall encroached the room's area, and if they don't look into the part right to the side of the wall of that path, hidden in the shadows. Then they won't see the entrance to the real 'Room 5', which was a hole in the wall that served as the entrance to a tunnel 0.8 meters in diameter.
And yes, the ends of the walls of said pathway/hall curved outwards slightly to hide the tunnel from light sources more effectively.
The fake rooms were just a D2 slime or something in a cave-like room, but yes, the last room had it's own trickery to mess with adventurers. It was just a winding and very long hallway that held no way to progress. It would waste so much time, and give Falc a buffer to make better monsters and stuff.
Then room five which continued from the tunnel, that turned into a hallway, was a large cavernous room, where the hall once again took a bit of space from the room with it's hook like ends. The room was very large, and had a ceiling quite a bit above. And made it possible to have another tunnel, hidden above the outcropping created by the hall.
From the great room five's hooking hallway came a stairway that was Falc guaranteed, which came to the bottom of room five, the idea being that room five would be a practice/nurturing place for monsters, meaning that there would be an extremely large amount of them, later on. He didn't expect the sentient races to so quickly see through his first mind game. And no, there is no way there except the tunnel.
There was even more after the 5th room that Falc wanted to make, but that was for a later Falc's worry.
And then, just a stair case to the surface. Though it didn't take that long, Falc wasn't sure about the sentients and their ability to walk certain distances without any interaction, he put a few rooms in-between stairs, which he would fill with some non D-series slimes.
Though it was stupid to actually make an entrance to the surface with his trashy monsters, he was still bound to his instincts, and he hated that fact. The instinctual need to harbour adventurers and also kill a few of them on the side was in a different league compared to the instinct still screaming at him to put himself into the lowest room.
And after 47 MP of time 'Wait, doesn't it feel like it's taking less time to get a unit of MP?' with that thought, an opening to the surface appeared.
Feeling a dimming of the screaming instinct, Falc sighed, and felt mana leaking into his dungeon from the entrance, steadily flowing through the many halls and saturating it's ambient mana. Falc could feel his MP regen getting a boost 'So this is why my instincts wanted to open up to the surface no matter what... But why would I even want to lure in adventurers?'
Falc first tried to kind-of hide his entrance with some dirt or something, it did help a bit, but it didn't hide the massive hole.
Then he chose to increase his field of view, by expanding his domain into the open air, which started to dissipate the moment it crossed a certain distance of... about 3~ meters from the entrance.
