I poked my head outside my den and took a quick look around. I didn't see the drake, but… that's not to say it’s not nearby hiding somewhere ready to pounce on a poor wolf just looking to feed itself. Wait, I think I see it crawling away. Good, I can go get some food for my poor belly.
As I crawled out of the den and began to hunt, I noticed something: the grass was getting greener and more vibrant the closer I got to something. What the thing was I have no idea, but I was curious and decided it was worth my time to find out what it was. I had already caught a couple more of the chickens, once you know how to spot their dens it’s easy, so I was no longer hungry.
As I approached the center of the greener grass I noticed how the nearby wildlife seemed to be dwindling, this concerned me. The last time this happened was because the drake was nearby, I thought about heading home but curiosity reigned supreme. When I thought the grass couldn't get any greener I saw it, I didn’t know what it was, but I saw it.
A cave with a faint blue glow emanating from it. I smelled a faint scent of the drake but thought nothing of it. It was only once I had entered the cave that I knew I had made a mistake. This wasn’t a cave, it was a DRAKE DEN. I was about to leave when I heard some loud footsteps and smelled drake, it was at that moment when I realized how deep in trouble I was. Drake was coming into its den, and I was still in it! I began freaking out and started running farther into the cave. When I got to the end of the cave I realized just how utterly screwed I was, It was a dead end.
The tunnel opened up into a wider area with a fairly large blue orb in a crevice in a wall, a large pile of gold, and a few miscellaneous bones and pieces of fur scattered around the cave. With minimal time to think I rushed to hide behind the blue orb seeing as it was the only available place to hide. I made it behind just in time, just as I hid behind the orb I heard a snuffling. Tail-tucked between my legs I held my breath, how good is the sense of smell of a drake. Not good it seemed because the drake curled up on the pile of gold, and began to sleep.

Later that night while I was still waiting behind the orb gnawing on a bone I’m a wolf and I was bored I noticed something I seemed to be… Glowing? It looked like the blue orb had transferred some of its glow to me. I checked my stats to see if anything had changed,

Huh, wonder what that is. When I thought about it a description popped up.
For being in a mana-rich environment for an extended period of time you have gained a small buff, all spells you cast will be slightly increased in strength.
Well, I don't have any spells so that is useless. I wonder.... Wait! The drake just got up! this is my chance to escape.
