Thunk.
That dumbass devil summoned me? Spawned me? Who cares. Anyway, I was summoned ten or so feet up in the air. That wouldn't normally be a problem because I could just land on my feet, or at least support myself, which I did. One problem. I’m a wolf. Which means, for those of you that have never seen one, four legs. Not two. So I ended up just flailing around in the air for a bit and then crash landing on the ground. Ow.
After I got my bearings and figured out how to walk, I decided to figure out just what was going on with this world. And what made my “evolution” work. The second I thought ‘evolution’ I saw a menu pop up in front of me.

Huh. Looks like I've done nothing. Who would've guessed? Hm. I wonder what I have to do to unlock new evolutions… I mean, other than be old, or do a "feat," whatever that is. I wonder what other menus I have... ‘Menu’. ‘Stats’. ‘Profile’. Ooh, another menu.

When I thought about a certain stat I could see what it represents.
Strength was how strong I was, if 10 is average for a human I assume I’m 13 because wolves are stronger than humans.
Dexterity was fine control; I suppose my low score makes sense considering I have no hands.
Agility is how fast and acrobatic I am, I’m a wolf of course it’s high.
Constitution is how tough my skin is, how resilient to poisons, spells, and curses I am, and how quickly I will naturally heal.
Perception is how much of the environment I can sense.
Intelligence is my ability to use logic, it also helps with spells.
Wisdom is how good my memory is, it also helps with mana capacity and regen. Luck feels pretty self-explanatory.
Crack!
What was that? That sounded like something was coming and it sounds big. As I frantically looked around I noticed my surroundings. I was in a small clearing in what looked like a fairly dense forest. I took a deep breath to calm myself, and that's when I smelled something. I don’t know how else to describe the smell, other than DANGER! I immediately began to run in the other direction and as I ran I noticed how my mind seemed to instinctively know how to use this new wolfish body of mine. After about 5 minutes of running, I began to tire and decided to look for a safe place for me to stay.
I noticed a small hill a ways away from me so I loped over there. Once I got there and looked around I could see my surroundings better, more forest. As I began descending the hill I found what looked to be a small tunnel. I smelled it and it smelled completely empty. Not as in there was nothing in there, but as in there never was. Curiosity piqued, I crawled in. After a few feet of somewhat cramped crawling, it opened up into a fairly large cave area, in which I could see a couple of holes in the roof. It seemed to be the perfect place for me to sleep, but what worried me the most was that there were no signs of anything in here. No smells or anything that would show life has been here before. Well, it's as good a place as any for a den.
