Celestial Genesis Technique

Celestial Genesis Technique

"Now prepare yourself, as I will impart your first cultivation technique to you."

When Kai Ren heard these words, he was stunned for a moment. Cultivation techniques cannot be bought with money.

Even the lowest-ranked technique is controlled by cultivators, and the only way to get them is to join a sect or be from a prominent family with deep enough connections to help them obtain one.

Just as he pondered this to himself, a flood of information about cultivation and other things poured into his mind like a tsunami. Instead of feeling pain from the flood of information, he just felt mildly confused for a few moments before getting himself together.

"Celestial Genesis Technique," he murmured.

"Indeed, it is the most powerful technique to exist. If you start your journey with this technique, you will have an absolutely flawless foundation."

After saying this, Azarion went silent to allow Kai Ren to understand the new knowledge he had just received, and indeed that was what Kai Ren did.

As he delved deeper into the sea of knowledge, he came to know about the different realms of cultivation in the mortal realm, which were:

Qi Apprentice realm: The initial stage where cultivators learn to sense and absorb Qi (spiritual energy) from their surroundings.

Qi Practitioner realm: Cultivators have a more refined control over Qi at this stage.

Qi Adept realm: Cultivators internalize Qi within their Dantian.

Qi Disciple realm: At this level, cultivators can store a significant amount of Qi in their bodies, allowing for more potent techniques and sustained energy use.

Qi Master realm: Cultivators can use Qi to enhance their bodies capabilities and heal minor wounds without ay problem, they can also use it as a replacement for energy gained through food and sleep to a certain degree

Qi Expert realm: Cultivators can manipulate Qi externally, forming barriers, projecting energy attacks, and enhancing weapons with spiritual energy.

Qi Grandmaster realm: Cultivators achieve high control over Qi, allowing them to blend different elemental forces and create powerful, unique techniques.

Qi Sage realm: Cultivators at this stage can purify and condense their Qi into a highly potent form.

Qi Ascendant realm: Cultivators begin the transformation from mortal to divine.

Ascension realm: The pinnacle of the Mortal realm, where cultivators prepare for their breakthrough to the Spirit realm. At this stage, they possess near-immortal bodies, can easily command vast amounts of Qi, and can profoundly influence the world around them.

Furthermore, these realms were divided into four sub-realms: low, mid, high, and peak.

He also came to know about different elements that cultivators could use; in total, there were 20 elements, which are:

Common Elements:

Fire: Manipulates flames, heat, and combustion.

Water: controls water in all its forms, including ice and mist. When a martial artist reaches a certain degree of control in the water element they can also gain the Ice element, which makes it easier for them to control cold and ice.

Earth: governs rocks, soil, and minerals, allowing for shaping and manipulation. When a martial artist reaches a certain degree of control in earth element they can also gain the Metal element, which makes it easier for them to control metals and minerals.

Wind: harnesses air currents, creating gusts and manipulating the atmosphere. After attaining a certain level of control over the wind, a martial artist has a chance to unlock the rare sound element.

Wood: controls plant life, encouraging growth and manipulation of flora.

Uncommon Elements:

Lightning: commands electrical energy, creating bolts and surges of power.

Metal: Manipulates metallic substances, shaping and enhancing their properties.

Ice: controls cold and ice, freezing moisture in the air and forming icy structures.

Shadow: Harnesses darkness and shadows, creating illusions and stealth techniques.

Light: Manipulates light, creating blinding flashes and illusions.

Rare Elements:

Poison: Controls toxic substances and venoms, creating corrosive attacks and defenses.

Sound: Manipulates sound waves, creating sonic attacks and enhancing hearing.

Gravity: controls gravitational forces, increasing or decreasing weight and creating powerful attacks.

Time: Manipulates the flow of time by slowing, accelerating, or pausing moments.

Space: controls spatial dimensions, enabling teleportation and spatial manipulation.

Super: Rare Elements

Chaos: harnesses chaotic energy, creating unpredictable and destructive effects.

Order: Manipulates forces of order and stability, countering chaos and enhancing control.

Life: controls energy, enabling healing, regeneration, and manipulation of life forces.

Death: Harnesses necrotic energy, causing decay and manipulating the dead.

Void: Manipulates the void, creating vacuums and erasing matter from existence.

Kai Ren also learned about blacksmithing, alchemy, talismanism, and scroll engraving.

While these types of cultivators were not strong, their importance far exceeded that of normal cultivators, as they were an integral part of the cultivation society.

For example, a blacksmith can create weapons that cultivators use to battle, and if two cultivators with similar battle power clash, then there is a high chance that the cultivator with a better weapon will come on top.

The same goes for alchemy. Without Alchemists making pills to recover their energy, heal them to their top shape, or even help them break through to the next realm, there will be a lot of casualties among the cultivators.

Similarly, talisman creators and Scroll engravers are similar in certain aspects but also different in many.

Talismans are easy to learn, and they can be used consistently. For example, if a cultivator is escaping from his enemies.

If he had the instant teleportation talisman at hand, he can safely teleport anywhere nearby.

Still, the limitations of talismans are that they are weak, as during the creation of the talisman, the creator has to infuse his elemental Qi into the talisman, meaning that a talisman creator can only create talismans of the elements he wields.

So, a talisman creator who wields fire and wind elements can never create an instant teleportation talisman, as it is made from space elements.

Scroll engraving is similar to talismans, but the difference is that the scroll takes longer to activate, is much more powerful than a talisman of the same rank, and can be used multiple times as long as sufficient energy is provided and the runes are not damaged.

Also, the runes used to create scrolls can be used on any surface to create a formation.

Many types of formations, such as defense formations, can be used to defend a particular area, like a shield, and will not break until the energy depletes or the power of the attacks exceeds the formation's capabilities.

There are also attack formations that attack anyone they don't recognize, illusion formations that can put anyone into an illusion, teleportation formations that can teleport one from one place to another as long as the two points are connected via formations, and many more.

Scroll engravers are also not limited to their elements, as they use the natural Qi available in nature.

The drawback of scroll engraving is that it is extremely hard to learn, as only one in every 100,000 people can become a scroll engraver.

Another drawback is that writing and using a scroll is expensive, as writing powerful scrolls requires materials that can handle the power emitted by the runes.

Using the scroll requires a vast amount of Qi that weak cultivators can't provide, and as for the strong cultivators, why would they use scrolls if they can create equally powerful attacks with just their bodies?

Though some strong cultivators keep scrolls from different elements with them as a precaution anyway, to substitute the Qi required by the scroll, weak cultivators have to rely on something called spirit stones.

As their name implies, spirit stones hold a large amount of spiritual Qi and are considered the common currency between cultivators.

There are five types of spirit stones: low, mid, high, peak, and pure quality, with each being equal to 100 of the previous one.

Spirit stones can form naturally in areas with abundant energy, or strong cultivators can create them by condensing their Qi to extreme degrees, though almost no one does that as it is considered a waste of Qi.

As Kai Ren was still absorbing the information, he suddenly felt like he could not learn any more but still felt there was much information he had not learned about.

Confused, he asked Azarion, "Elder, why can't I learn more of the information you provided?"
