The fight with the boss increased our guild exp and made guild level increase.
After the fight, we went back to the stall to put back the cat there. We give our loots to Fifi.
The dropped items don’t include equipment but we got a lot of materials. Things like [Prince of the Jungle Fur], [Prince of the Jungle Fangs] ect, Basically its body parts. We also got some magic grade ore from one of the treasure boxes.
From this moment on, crafters would prioritize making magic grade equipment or above.
I went to take a carriage to a different town immediately after that. It was still 8 p.m. but I logout and went to sleep, Saturn is still playing.
I’m already used to wrecking my biological clock so it’s easy.

.
.
I was woken up at 1 a.m. by an alarm and quickly log in into the game.
It’s fine as long as I’m not sleepy during the game.
I am now in another town in a canyon. This town is also a second town if you start the game from a different starting town.
I forgot their exact name so let’s call this town the “canyon town” and the town with our stall the “forest town” from now on to make this easier.
When I log on, I meet the rest of the guild. They are the guys who played at night (in my time zone perspective). We’re going to do another “sacred beast” quest. Because this particular beast needs more than 2 tankers, we planned on how to make our entire tankers log on the same time. The other tanker who participated in the cat hunt is also here, it makes a total of 4 tankers including one newly joined member.
We waited only for a bit to wait for the rest to log on.
When everyone logged on, we immediately went to the spot of quest. There are 17 of us, 5 of us are someone who also played in the cat quest. This time, there are no thieves and sword-men on the party.
The quest has pretty much the same procedure. 5 hours limit, a long way to the boss, the boss.
We finished the quest after getting all the 5 treasure chests and killing the boss. I got my level up to 29.
That’s 2 of the 5 animal quests finished, we got the strength type “Desert Bighorn Sheep” this time.
The 3rd beast would be done by the “morning team”. That one is the intelligent type boss where physical tankers would be useless.
Anyway, now that we’ve finished our task here, we’ll do other good quests in the canyon town.
In this game, some quests are repeatable while others are not. The sacred animal quest set is actually repeatable, but we’re rushing the quest because the earlier we get them the faster our guild would grow.
Well, but even if that is so we’re not really in much of a rush for the quest set, that’s why we’re going to do other quest right now. Also, according to our plan, the morning team would be in a carriage going to the “grass plain town”. Some of our mages would be there to fight the boss; we need all of those mages to fight our next target, the vit type boss.
Even though I said that we put the unrepeatable quest at less priority, we had actually taken all of those quests that don’t have a time limit (which is, almost all of them). We don’t want the quest we already know to be taken by other people of course.
By the way, we also did this in the forest town although we didn’t get any equipment for guard.
For now, we’ll do the unrepeatable quests that has a time limit.
There are “kill the necromancer” and “get medicine ingredient” quest.
Unfortunately, “kill the necromancer” is already taken by someone else so we’ll go ahead with the other quest.
The quest we take is to get some kind of grass which is an ingredient for a medicine. The quest giver is something like an alchemist master who needs to cure his daughter. The alchemist can’t pick up the ingredient because of some pack coyotes that live around it.
The party that would do this quest consisted of 2 players. The others are doing different quests.
I’m just going to lure the monsters away and have the other person pick the grass real quick and run away to finish the quest.
Alchemist master: “Oh, thank you! Thank you adventurers! I owe you the greatest of debts! Just speak what you need! Be it gold, my secret potions or…..”
Stone: “Potions recipe”
Alchemist master: “…………….…….Very well…. This potion recipe is one of my most…….”
Ah….. This would take long.
After that, we went around town finishing other quests. We get quest according to what our class is so they’re mostly easy to the ones doing them, each quest would approximately take 4 members.
When all the quests are completed, we went into dungeons to level up while looting treasures repeatedly.
The quests I took reward me with the potion recipe, rare sword, magic grade wand, magic grade gloves, some crafting material and some enhance ingredient. A lot of them are not something I use, so I gave them to other players from the guild. In return, I got a lot of items I could use from other members.
Let’s see… I got magic grade glove and magic grade shield; I had to share with other tankers too after all.
We also had a few recruitments. The moment someone know that we are already working on a guild quest this early, a lot would gather to ask to join.
If that someone is already above level 32, we would just recruit him without a test. Someone being already high leveled this early in the game means that he already have enough skill or he know a lot of tricks to level up. Either way, it’s beneficial to us. If he turns out a problem, we could just kick him anyway. It’s not like there’s that many people who had reached level 32 this early too, there’s only two person that joined that way.
The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.
When someone doesn’t have that level, we would test him. Because we don’t have a thief to test the sword-man this time, guards would test them. Being able to strike armor gaps well is also a skill we’re looking for.
In particular, I’ve tested a sword-man, 2 thieves, 2 sorcerers, a healer and a monk. Out of those people, only a sorcerer and a healer passed the test.
Most melee DPS would obviously aim for the armor gap, but striking it is a whole different problem. After all, I only need to move a few millimeters so that he would miss the gap and hit the armor.
The sorcerers had to kill me within 5 minutes. I owned the first guy so bad because he got cocky, the second guy did well to predict and dodge my sudden [Shield Charge] and saving up his mana when I went [Blocking Stance].
The healers only need to have a supportive build to be accepted. Some healers are pseudo DPS-Healer which are not really that useful in group battle. If someone like that applied, we would need to test his PVP-ing skills.
In total, we got 5 new members today.
That day, the “morning team” also picked the dolphin of intelligence that shoots freezing bullets everywhere in a different town. To kill it, they had to abuse [Spirit Boost] and [Haste] to dodge the bullets and reach the boss.
The next day is done in a similar way, the carriage, the harbor town, the sacred animal, the other quests and the guild test. We had the sorcerers and monks concentrated here to kill the vitality turtle. All the fireworks bombarded into its head were a spectacle. I got a rare helmet later from the small quests. We got 3 new members that day.
Later that day, the owl of wisdom was get too.
Now that we got all the sacred animal set, we set back to the forest town in a carriage while sleeping. I slept at 11 p.m. again to return to my sleeping habit. That was a total of 2 days away from the forest town.
After waking up and doing my morning routine, I log back to the game.
A small wooden stall was right outside the village entrance. There’s also another one in the middle of construction that’s not ours too.
On the stall was a soundly sleeping cat of agility, the prince of the jungle.
Fifi is sitting there, tutoring someone in potion making.
There’s also the goat of strength, turtle of vitality, dolphin of intelligence and owl of wisdom. There’s a small pool by the stall’s side for the turtle and dolphin. It’s already a miniature zoo.
When we got the animals for the first time, they would be a level 1 that gives [1% + 5] of the stats. The buffs are increased by 50% for a bonus of having the complete set. To get these buffs, you need to pet the respective animals. Petting will also increase its exp which would in turn increase its level. Petting them when you’re still affected by the buff will not increase its exp. The buff lasts for 4 hours.
We’re also allowing non-members to pet them if they pay a small charge. The charge is negligible, but everyone wants the buff so we got quite the sum. It’s true that the more people to pet them the faster they grow, but earning money on the way sounds great as well.
When I arrive at the stall, Fifi turned to look at me.
Fifi: “Good timing, do you remember a sword-man guy called “Delacroix”?”
Stone: “That sounds familiar…. Why do you ask?”
Fifi: “He’s the guy you guys killed. He came here and went chaos mode.”
Stone: “Sounds reasonable…. Aiming for the crafters first, huh… He’d get a lot of our items if he succeeded.”
Fifi: “You’re not worried at all.…. Well, we did spend a lot to make the land mines after all.”
Stone: “Well, Saturn already told me about it too.”
Fifi: “Anyway, he dropped a helmet. What should I do with it?”
Stone: “Just give it to one of the sword-man. First come, first serve… Eh, no, wait. It’s level 20 right? All of us are level 28 at least, so just sell it to the crafting guild.”
Fifi: “Okay~. Oh, here’s the rest of your lv 30 equipment, its 5 gold.”
Stone: “Thanks.”
Hmmm…. We shouldn’t really worry about someone who we have already killed 3 times but let’s just add him to the guild’s black-list so that the members will be cautious around him.
Stone: “That sword-man guy, what’s his name again?”
Fifi: “it’s Delacroix”
Right
By the way, I leveled up to 32 yesterday and I got a new skill [slam]. The skill is to jump 2 meters and slam the shield toward the enemy while falling.
Preparing for a hunt, I pet all of the pets to get the buffs. I asked in the guild chat if there is any party going.
Stone: -Anyone in the forest?-
(Guild Member): -We’re here-
We already did all the doable unrepeatable quest here, including those over-leveling us.
We did a lot of chain quests too but to continue the quests, we need to get higher level.
We’re mostly going to just do normal leveling. Without the quests, levelling up will be harder.PREVIOUS CHAPTERBack to Main Page
