One Earth government received a first contact message from extraterrestrials.
A United Space Force Earth Defense patrol reported:
"Madame President, alien robots have landed, and they appear capable of destroying everything."
An HQ communications officer said, "We're receiving another message, Madame President. It's in English."
"What are they here for?" asked the president.
"Ma'am, the aliens orbiting Earth said their robots are here to end poverty, disease, crime, and war. To bring about world peace and order for a new post-scarcity era."
"They do appear heavily armed, which makes them a clear threat to us. We need to disable those robots now!" said General Clark.

"No, wait!" interrupted an exobiologist. "Maybe they're being sincere. The weapons they carry are likely only for their own protection."
"It's now or never, Madame President," said the general.
"General Clark, send in your infiltrators."
…
Once the infiltrators arrived and boarded the alien ship, they disabled the robots’ command control center while ground troops destroyed them.
"General, sir, this is Captain Bogdan reporting. There's a holographic layout of the ship inside here. If we can get to the core, we can probably disable the entire ship."
General Clark glanced at the president, who gave him a nod. "Proceed, Captain."
The infiltrators found aliens floating in 'tanks of liquid' within the ship's core.
"Earthlings, please do not tamper with our ship. Let us return home. We've warned our homeworld to avoid your planet in the future."
"How do you speak English? Who are you?" asked Captain Bogdan.
"We've been monitoring your planet for centuries and believed you were ready. We're volunteers with what you call disabilities, neurologically linked to the robots who gave us freedom. We came to you on a philanthropic mission to bring peace and prosperity to your world. If you try to disable our ship, it'll self-destruct and destroy your planet with it."
