“So high…”
Lying down on the 100th floor, Chrono looked up at the sky. Or rather the dungeon ceiling. Unlike any other floor, this floor particularly had the highest ceiling.
A special floor where the sun shines warmly. He could feel the wind breeze passing his cheeks, he could hear the birds chirping in the distance, and a sea of tall trees surrounding the entire floor.
Beside Chrono was the only building on the entire floor. It had double stone doors that its height alone comparable with a three-story building as if it was meant for giants.
Inside the building was a throne room as big as a football field. It has six giant pillars on left and right. At the end of the room, there’s a huge stair leading to a giant throne. It was where the loots were before Salvanor’s party took it.
The walkway before the stairs was filled with deadly traps that could wipe out the entire party in a single wave. Luckily they got Clara that could disarm the traps easily.
“Heh”
Chrono smirked as he thought how ridiculous his situation was. He decided to just log out and called it a day.
“(Maybe I should just quit this)”
He thought as he logged out.
………..
“( What this?)”
He was supposed to log out, back to his real body in his home. Instead, he found himself still in his in-game avatar, Chrono in an unknown white room that felt familiar.
“(This is...when I was fighting Chaos Knight…)”
While Chrono looked around, he saw a man in his knightly armor walking to him.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
“(Ehh, Alex?)”
Without minding the confused Chrono, Alex said in a hurry.
“I need to hurry, just remember these two things.”
Before he continued, Alex looks Chrono in the eyes and show his index finger to Chrono as a sign of number one.
“ One, slay all the monsters on that floor.”
Alex continues while showing his middle finger with his index finger as a sign of number two.
“Second, Grave, your sword is bound to your character. You can summon it regardless of its location and you don’t need to use your portal to summon it.”
“What?”
“Ok, I need to go.”
Suddenly, the white room turned brighter to the point Chrono needed to close his eyes. When his eyes opened, he was in the VR cube in his room. Still dumbfounded, Daniel muttered.
“What was that?”
*********
Legendary Sword
Name: Grave Class: Soul Necromancer
Level : 300 Soul : 10,000
Attack: 295~100 Durability: 320/320
“So it’s true.”
The next day, Chrono tried to summon Grave as Alex suggested and it worked. It was a mixed feeling where he was happy but can’t help but doubt Alex's intention.
“I guess it’s time to hunt.”
Alex's advice was his only lifeline, Chrono had no choice but to follow it. He trained every day, but it was the first time he hunted since he first joined Salvanor’s party.
'Fear Death'
A passive skill merchant had to detect enemies around. A skill most merchants used to avoid danger. But Chrono uses it to pinpoint enemies' locations and hunt with it.
“( Not many monsters left, nothing I can’t handle. I can eliminate them all today)”
With his heightened sense stats, Fear Death skill could cover more areas. With his level and tremendous stats from crafting and achievement, he was far stronger than when he first entered the dungeon.
Critical hit!
Critical hit!
Without using his Soul Necromancer skill, Chrono managed to one hit kill every single monster around.
Critical hit!
“( I think this is the last one. Now what.)”
In less than an hour, Chrono slaughtered all the remaining monsters.
Trrtting!
Your act of tyranny, slaughtering all of his underlings brought forth his wrath. The real king of the dungeon just awakened from his slumber in space rift!
Suddenly a giant magic circle appeared in the sky. A sunny day turned dark, the wind blew as the thunderstorms came.
Slowly, a silhouette of a mighty beast appeared from the magic circle. Its body filled with furs, standing with its two feet, it wore armor as thick as a concrete wall. It had the face of a boar with huge tusks. It wielded a halberd that was a little bit taller than itself.
A majestic beast that had almost the same look as King Behemoth, only it had three times the size of King Behemoth.
“(What the….)”
“GRAAAARHHH!”
As it completed its summoning rites, Grand King Behemoth shook up the whole dungeon with its cries.
