A few moments ago they were the best comrades but now Chrono and Aramis were arguing like they were sworn enemies. Both put the blame on each other. While they were busy with arguing, Oroviath recovered from the shock of seeing its sub bosses die one by one in front of its own eyes while receiving the same poison. Because it’s a boss class monster, it didn't die but its health was reduced to 30% while its stats were reduced to 50%.

In Emperor Saga, poisonous food is extremely fatal. But using it to hunt is impossible because no monster would eat food cooked by a user unless there was a pact made like in Oroviath’s case. And there was no way to know what a ruined potion’s effect is until it is tasted, Oroviath and its 5 sub bosses were extremely unlucky when the ruined potion’s effect was super effective against them.

Orovath went into a frenzy when it realized the situation. The pact between The Guardian of the Kramoris Mountain Range and the BloodBrothers was officially broken.

GRAAARGHHHH!!!!

By slaying the guardian dearest underling in front of it, the pact between Oroviath and the BloodBrothers are officially cancel.Now the guardian would hunt every single BloodBrothers member to avenge its underling.

"(Crap)"

"Aramis, it was your fault, you should deal with it."

"What? It was YOUR FAULT!!"

'Fake Death'

Without speaking further, Chrono heartlessly became a 'corpse' making the guardian only target Aramis.

"You bastard!"

Oroviath was not the only enemy, thousands of lesser minions also became hostile once the sub bosses were slain. Even though it's night-time, Aramis still can't fight the level 900 guardian while defending against thousands of Oroviath’s minions alone.

When Oroviath and its minions focused their attention on Aramis, Chrono rose from his corpse form and activated 'Walking Death' just in case Oroviath and the surrounding minions noticed him. He walked towards Thorin, in the opposite direction of Aramis’s battle against Oroviath.

"SCUMBAG!!"

Aramis screamed in frustration looking at Chrono going further away from the battle scene.

"(I'm sorry Aramis, I need to do this.)"

Chrono finally reached Thorin and he deactivated 'Walking Death' soon after.

"(Thorin, let’s go.)"

HYAAHH!!

Instead of steering Thorin away from the battle, Chrono rode on Thorin, with the wagon attached to its back, towards the battle scene with full speed. At full speed, Thorin was unstoppable Oroviath minions couldn’t even get near them. Chrono didn't even put out the fire from the wagon kitchen setting the left side of the wagon ablaze with fire. Chrono continued to ride Thorin at full speed towards Oroviath.

"Aramis, Dodge!"

Once he got close enough, Chrono slashed the ties connecting Thorin and the wagon while steering Thorin to the left while the wagon continued heading towards Oroviath at full speed.

'Wagon Crash!!'

The blaze from the wagon added damage to the speedy crash. The wagon was destroyed while Oroviath was dealt tremendous damage. But it was still not enough to slay the level 900 guardian boss monster. Chrono picked up Aramis while riding on Thorin as the wagon crashed into Oroviath’s body. Thorin needed to keep moving to avoid getting attacked by Oroviath’s minions.

"I thought you were going to run."

"Never mind that, we need to get out of this situation. It's easy to run, but the guardian will hunt us once it recovers."

"I have one last trump card but I need time to execute it."

"Okay, leave it to me."

Once they were done talking, Oroviath was already on their tail. Even with 50% stat, the guardian’s speed was only slightly below Thorin’s. Thankfully Chrono’s0 cunning way of steering Thorin confused the guardian and made sure the guardian’s attacks didn’t connect.

Because it was harder to dodge Oroviath’s attacks while having 2 people on its back, Aramis got down from Thorin while Chrono continued to draw the guardian’s attention. Both Chrono and Aramis didn't even talk, their chemistry was good enough to make them understand each other without a word.

WOOSSHH!!!

You hit the target

While riding the speedy Thorin, Chrono occasionally threw a spear to chip the guardian’s health even by a bit. He steered Thorin left and right dodging Oroviath’s attacks while occasionally throwing a spear when he saw the chance. With Thorin’s speed, the spear’s power was increased by half. If Chrono was fighting a normal boss monster instead of the level 900 guardian monster, Chrono’s spear throw empowered by Thorin’s speed might already pierced the boss’ body and concluded the battle.

Unlike a horse, Thorin has strong legs and mighty claws enabling it to run on any terrain without dropping its speed. Rock, grass, marsh, none can drop Thorin’s speed. Thorin can even run on vertical terrain by gripping the terrain with its strong claws. And finally, Thorin wings are small but it was enough to fly for at least 3 seconds making it easy for Chrono to jump from high places.

Chrono continued to ride Thorin, running around Oroviath while dodging and throwing a spear occasionally. Since Aramis needed to defend himself against Oroviath’s minions while preparing his trump card, it took more time to prepare his trump card.

"Our clan’s future......if they don't slay Oroviath, it will hunt us and if by some chance they slay Oroviath, the next guardian will only spawn after 3 months and we would need to make a new pact and the guardian will be a lot weaker too."

Without Oroviath’s protection, BloodBrothers are vulnerable against attacks by the authorities, it seems Chrono and Aramis’s mistake may have brought about the clan’s demise.

Chrono continued drawing Oroviath’s attention while chipping away at the guardian’s health little by little with his spear throw. Thankfully, Thorin showed no sign of being tired of running, it seems Thorin’s stamina is quite high. After almost two hours, Aramis had finally readied his trump card.

"It’s ready!!"

Once he heard the word 'ready', Chrono steered Thorin towards Aramis while Oroviath chased closely behind him.

"(Why did he take THIS long?)"

Aramis had never actually used his trump card since he felt it was cowardly and the price was too high for him. Because of that, it was harder for him to remember assembling the parts of his trump card, the trademark of the musketeer, a weapon belonging to the strongest weapon category in Emperor Saga.

The Musket

Belonging to the gun category, a weapon category which damage is considered broken by many users and the prices have been at the top for 10 years. Chrono steered Thorin towards Aramis while Aramis aimed the musket towards Oroviath just behind Chrono.

"(Here you go my one and only 10 gold bullet.)"

BANG!!!

Groagghhh!!

By unleashing the bullet, Aramis’s body was knocked back while Oroviath was dealt tremendous damage but the guardian still didn't die. Now Aramis was in the more dangerous position since he had aggravated Oroviath and he didn't have a speedy pet to ride like Chrono. Realizing the situation, Chrono turned back and faced Oroviath.

"(I heard inside of its mouth is an acid corrosive enough to kill me instantly, need to avoid that.)"

Chrono charged at Oroviath with full speed, he held Grave tightly with his right hand preparing for the final assault.

GROAGH!!

Oroviath didn't back down, as if to retain its dignity as the guardian, Oroviath charged at Chrono with full speed. When Oroviath got closer, Chrono bravely jumped from Thorin while holding Grave with both of his hands towards Oroviath’s eye.

'Soul Blade'

At the last moment, Chrono activated soul blade, a broken skill that can ignore defence. The speedy Thorin charged and Chrono’s jump was great enough to make Chrono’s body fly to Oroviath’s eyes and stab the eye with Grave. The impact was great enough to inflict a huge amount of damage to Oroviath. Chrono didn't stop there, he was determined to slay the guardian here, Chrono cast a skill he had never used before.

'Abaddon Kiss'

Thousands of souls came out from Grave and attacked Oroviath rapidly for 10 seconds. In those 10 seconds, Oroviath was busy dealing with thousands of souls’ attacks. Chrono took this chance to attack further.

'Ragnarok'

The sword pierced through Oroviath’s body impaling it. The sword didn't make Oroviath completely helpless but the guardian’s speed dropped by almost 80% by fighting with 'Ragnarok stuck in its body. Aramis joined in the attack by attacking relentlessly with his rapier keeping Oroviath busy.

Chrono took out a heavy spear from the portal and thrust it in Oroviath’s eyes. He continued taking out heavy spears from the portal and thrust them into Oroviath’s eyes until the guardian was completely hopeless. Both Chrono and Aramis held their respective swords with both of their hands to thrust tino Oroviath for the final attack.

Even with Oroviath gone, thousands of Oroviath’s minions still surrounded Chrono and Aramis. Thorin was already exhausted by the constant running, it can protect itself but breaking away from the thousands of minions surrounding them while giving Chrono and Aramis a ride was currently an impossible task.
