I spent two days in the game, which means it’s been twelve hours in reality. Since I entered the game at midnight it’s only around lunch time now. Leaving the capsule I go take a leak and then grab something to eat.

While eating I sat in front of my computer and turned it on. I had spent all my time in-game studying and learning what I needed, so I was only at lvl 1, I wanted to know which lvl was the highest at the moment.

I entered Royal Road main website and looked at their forums for information. According to what people were saying it was some guy named WaveWarlord and he was already at lvl 15…

HOW?! That son of a bitch, he probably already knows how to use his weapon of choice, or maybe he was a beta user and already knew how to use magic, while I on the other hand not only had to learn everything since I chose to meddle with magic and somehow managed to kill myself.

Sniff… Fuck him! Once I get really strong and my crafts are the best in the game, I will give him nothing, not even a single drop of water.

I didn’t really do much during those 24 hours. Mostly I read about what people were doing in the game, and I gave my best friend a quick call. Apparently she was already lvl 10, she and her girlfriend wanted to become a cleric and a paladin and had been helping around in Freya’s Temple. They had already met with WaveWarlord and said he was a douche that made fun of them being a couple, so they decided that in the future they would create a guild to rival his. You can be sure that I’m helping them against him when the time comes (no one can be so much ahead of me).

Anyway, that was it for my day. I went to sleep a few hours before the full 24 hours count and set my alarm to the time I would be able to go back in the game.

When I went logged in the game…

       You have acquired the ability Telekinesis            

       For learning so many abilities on your own you get the title: Savant

It grants you +5 int, +5 wis and you can learn and develop abilities 15% faster            

Sweeeet! Not only had I managed to get the ability I wanted I also got a great title!

I was in the library when I got back and It was night time again, so Lucy was probably sleeping and I couldn’t go out because she locked the door. So I decided to try out my so dreamed Telekinesis. I Activate my Field (I’m calling outer mana sense My Field, It is simply too long to keep writing over and over again) started feeling the mana of every book around me and then I took control of them. I was so happy that I started spinning every book in my field around me not giving a shit about them making the bookcases fall and all the noise.

I don’t know If I mentioned but my sole purpose in playing this game was to be able to use this ability, imagine being able to do many thing at the same without even having to lift a finger. It was my dream, so I was in ecstasy…

Until an angry librarian came stomping from the back room emitting a killing aura targeted at me. She looked like one of those demons witches you see in the movies, added to the effects of her human illusion dissipating while releasing smoke and revealing a demon face.

Lucy – What the fuck are you doing with my library Emily? First your disappear for 4 days leaving behind a block of wood (the shit pile) and a flimsy excuse of a chair and when you return you start making a mess?

She grabbed me by my horns and believe me when I say that it hurt more than an ear, then told me to put everything back into place, so I did it, at least the best I could while she was holding me by my horns.

After everything was in place she took me to the room, put me in a chair, sat in front of me and said:

How the heck did you do that?

Emily – Do what?

Lucy – Don’t play with me kid. Explain to me, the flying books, the disintegrated chairs and this feeling that I have that you are watching me.

So I quickly explained to her about my abilities and what I had done to acquire them. After I finished she looked at me with a dumbfounded expression and said:

Emily, what you did is impossible, it would normally take ages for someone to learn telekinesis like you did. And that’s excluding the time to learn outer mana feeling, since you don’t really need to be aware of the mana to control it.

Emily – Wait, wait, wait… You saying that I could simply have learned how to control the mana and then learned Telekinesis?

Lucy – Yes! Since you’re not really meddling directly with the mana, feeling it isn’t something you needed to learn.

Oh, my heart! All the time I wasted here. At least I can repair my items by myself and I can’t see how mana drain would be a useless thing, since I’m going to be using my telekinesis for everything every ounce of mana I can get is welcome.

Finally I had learned all I could from the library, so it was time to go. So I said to Lucy:

Lucy, I’m really grateful for you letting me stay so much time in this library and even teaching me how to cook, but it’s time for me to go now.

Lucy – (sighs) I know, I can see it in your eyes that you want to learn more. So now that you’re ready, tell me what you going to do now and I’ll see if I can help you.

Emily – I was planning on learning tailoring now, I plan on being self-sufficient on my adventures.

Lucy – Alright! You did mentioned when you got here that you planned on being a crafter. Take this note ( poof, it appeared from nowhere bringing a little bit of that mysterious mist she is always releasing with it) and take it to Madam Rouge, she is a tailor and one of us, ask her to teach you and if she deems you’re worth the trouble,she will teach you.

Her shop is on the other side of the city and is actually located outside of the walls near the woods.

Emily – Thank you Lucy, I couldn’t ask for more.

Lucy – But there is more. While going out in those past 4 days I’ve heard rumors of a crazy fair skinned demon that ran around town screaming and I figured that was you. Demons don’t usually have fair skin and when they do they’re greatly damaged by the sun. So here, take this hood to protect yourself.

It was a really awkward situation with both of us red like tomatoes, but nevertheless she opened it for me then quickly closed it.

Then I looked around me, there was no one around and it was night. The library was in a place far away from the most frequented places and with my Field I felt some human forms very close to me. So I put my hood on, quickened my pace and left the Library and those shady presences behind.
