A goblin shaman was sitting on a stone throne as he was watching over a ritual. The sacrifices were 3 cute little green goblins that were bound by ropes.
The god the goblins worshiped was a snake-like deity. The totems of this god decorated the ritual site.
As the sacrifices were being carried to the goblin shaman, the shaman stood up and wielded a stone dagger as he walked menacingly toward them.
The shaman was a professional heart remover, someone who could surgically remove the hearts from a body with such frightening speed and accuracy that it left the person who had their heart removed dazzled.
Their god loved eating the hearts out of sacrifices, so as the best chef.. erm shaman of course he would serve the god to the best of his abilities.
Seeing the fear in the goblins' eyes the shaman could only sigh, they were citizens but they were also sacrifices, he must perform the ritual to appease the god, and the only mercy he could give them was for it to be painless.
In a split second before the goblins knew what had happened their heart had already been removed from the body, the knife moved at staggering speed as it was now coated in the blood of the goblins.
Holding the three small hearts in his hand the cheers from the surrounding goblins watching the ritual drowned the remorse the shaman felt.
He lifted the heart as he started praying on his knees, the rest of the goblins stopped cheering and started to pray too.
As mysterious chants were heard around, the totem that depicted a snake-like entity with countless feathers lit up in a green fiery blaze.
The god had witnessed their sacrifice and it was happy. A reptile's eye manifested above the goblins, the pressure it exerted was dreadful.
Although it was powerful it could not summon its full body in the mortal world, its followers had to give it sacrifices so it could barely manifest, and in return, he would grant his followers strength.
The boon that he was going to give them was a drop of his blood, a god's blood was so powerful that it normally would melt through any mortal that tried to use it.
The snake god had already thought of that so he diluted it so that it would only hold about 0.01% of its power.
Even if it was not a fraction of the god's true power it was still quite terrifying.
As the god planned to reward the shaman who had been his loyal follower with his blood, he suddenly had a strong feeling.
The feeling was overtaking it as it tried to resist, unfortunately he lost the battle as it sneezed. That's right the battle he was fighting was the urge to sneeze.

The sneeze disrupted his control of the blood as instead of targeting the shaman it now flew towards the throne!
The shaman was excited that he was about to get rewarded with the blood of his god until he saw that the blood that was originally going for him suddenly switched directions. His mood could only be described as complicated.
He felt as if he was rising to the heavens only to be ruthlessly told that goblins can't ascend, especially if you sacrifice your people.
Not questioning the decision of his god he could only lower his head.
The god would not try to fix the misunderstanding with his shaman as he had a certain degree of pride that would not allow him to tell the shaman that he sneezed.
So to cover up his shame he could only lie to the shaman.
"This boon is too powerful for you right now, the power is best suited for the throne as I sense something magical about it."
Of course, he was bullshitting! He didn't sense anything from that regular stone throne, but it's not like he was going to admit it.
Who would find fault with him? If a god says it's magical then it's magical.
Hearing the message from the god the shaman could only kneel harder in embarrassment. The god saw through his disappointment and told him words that would cheer him up.
He was coveting things that he shouldn't be.
As for the throne that was being infected by the god's blood?
Well, it was experiencing a new journey.

The stone throne or Thronie who now had awakened was greeted with messages from the system.
Everyone had a system in this world, just some were different from others. Different races and classes brought quite the diversity.
Following his instinct he thought in his head if he even had one.

Thronie had no idea what those meant but he just knew it was good. Removing his eyes off the status panel he saw a hideously green midget with a bone mask walking towards him.
He suddenly felt scared of its hideousness, he did not want that ugly creature near him.
Unfortunately, he had no say in it as he was just a stone chair.
The shaman caressed the stone throne, it received the god's blessing and he was intrigued by what new things it could do.
The touch of the throne still felt the same, the only new physical change he saw was the blood-like veins running through the throne.
Since there was barely any physical change he just went to sit on it. He expected the texture of stone but when he sat on it, his body experienced total relaxation.
Originally the stone chair was uncomfortable to sit on but now, he could probably die on it while in extreme bliss.
As if that was not the only good thing he saw messages appearing.

[EXP: +5]
He was gaining EXP because the shaman was sitting on him, how cool! Suddenly he felt that the green midget wasn't so ugly anymore.
As both the shaman and Thronie enjoyed the symbiotic relationship, there was a mutual agreement between them.
"This feeling is great!"
