The party looked wearily at one another. Although this fight was easier than the last, how much longer could they hold on? They needed to find a way to ambush whatever was inside.
"We need to find a way to know what's coming up ahead," Luca said to others. "We can't keep blindly running into enemies."
"I would summon Yelma, my owl familiar, but I don't think an owl is common in that cave," Traris spoke up.
"We need either invisible or innocuous eyes," Fenn said. "If we can find out what is in front of us we can prepare for it," Fenn said, agreeing with Luca.
"Squeak. Squeak." A few mice ran around the cave in front of them. Mage turned to look at the creatures.
"I can do it," Mag said, still looking at the mice. "But I'm going to need some time." She turned to the others who looked at one another.
"Sure..." Luca said. "Let me check to see if I can sense any more demons or monsters in the area first." Mag nodded in response. Luca focused on her aura. By now her peers could already manifest it. she always felt inferior to others due to how she still couldn't manifest it. Luca also couldn't use as much divine energy as her peers, But she was able to regain it much faster than others. Luca reached out with her aura, she focused on her smell as well, 'Luca, you perceive through smell. Pay close attention to it when you're grasping your aura.' Luca could almost hear Priest Laymand in her ear. While Luca did smell the scent of evil, it felt distant. Opening her eyes, Luca nodded for Mag to start whatever she was to do.
Mag carefully made her way to the mice. She quietly watched them squeak and move. After a few minutes of watching Mag started to replicate the mice's squeaks. The mice stopped to listen to her too! After a moment of back and forth between the mice and Mag, She opened up her pack and gave them a bit of her rations. Once they were done nibbling on the food, one of the mice got closer to Mag. Picking it up, Mag brought it up to her forehead, closing her eyes. After a moment, Mag let the mouse down, keeping her eyes closed the whole time. For a while the party silently rested, waiting for whatever Mag was doing to finish. Eventually, the mouse came back, and only then did Mag open her eyes.

"There are 4 rooms," Mag said, standing up. "One with demons sleeping. Another is with a lone human who is talking to herself. one Empty room with things inside. And finally, one room with two demons arguing. the rooms are far apart and only in natural caves."
"Good job Mag!" Fenn said. "let's take out the sleeping demons first then we can worry about the rest." the rest of the party agreed with him.
Sneaking into the hall, the party made its way into the first room. in it were many demons sleeping. One by one, the party slit their throats. once that was done they made their way to the next room. before they were in sight of it they heard the human speaking.
"What do you mean that the attack on that stupid peace summit failed!" The Woman said.
Some noise sounded like gasping and blowing wind.
"That Elven wench!" The sound of something smashing the wall rang throughout the cave. "I hope Envalium burns her in hell." Both Fenn and Luca recognized the name 'Envalium'. It was a demonic cult that promised to rid the world of the gods and give its followers positions in a higher class in the new world order.
Traris didn't need to hear anymore. He summoned his shadow blade and ran into view. nobody even realized where Traris was until he was already in front of the woman who bad-mouthed his queen. He stabbed his shadow blade right through the woman's skull, overloading her brain with pain. Traris also tried to stab the Woman with his sword but the shadow blade's pain made her jerk. Whiling around, Traris stabbed forth with his blade of shadow once more, Killing the women.
The rest of the party walked into the room, amazed. and as Traris was about to dismiss his shadow blade, a magical force pushed him right up to the wall. The Heroes of Heaven were still in danger in this room.
