The party collapsed. The fight had worn them out more than expected, Traris and Fenn being the most heavily injured. They had come here expecting a fight like the one at the summit. They were mistaken, and their carelessness almost put them in great danger.

"Hiss." Fenn winced as he moved his arm a little. "I need a break for a moment." Fenn looked around seeing everyone at some degree of injury. "Let's take a break. I am sure everyone here could use one." The others nodded.

"Come," Mag said, waving forward Traris and Fenn. "Let me Look at your wounds." The elves looked at each other before sitting in front of Mag. Mag's hands began to glow. With practiced efficiency, Mag poked at certain areas of both people's bodies. and the wounds began to close. "I can only do this a few times so be wary of further injuries."

For the next hour or so, The party bandaged their wounds and Luca started preying on her goddess. After that, they continued their travel. Following the tracks led by the Group they killed, they moved stealthily. Fenn being very good at stealth took the lead, and Traris, although not amazing at stealth, showed to be incredibly quiet. Even Fenn was impressed.

This eventually leads them to a cave. What they spotted were two demons and some Crab-like abomination. When the party listened closely they were able to make out the conversation. through only Traris could understand the words they were speaking.

"Gorgum! You buffoon!" One demon said. It was skinnier than the other ones they had seen before. "What do you mean you missed the last patrol!"

"I was sleeping Gelram!" The second demon, Gorgum, said. It looked like the other demons that had ambushed them. "You can't expect me to keep track of demons that enter and leave the lair! I'm sure they just walked in and sent the second patrol out like always."

"What if they didn't come back? What if they were ambushed? Go find them now Gorgum. Or I will feed you to the Chuul." Gelram said, pointing at the monster behind him.

"Fine!" Gorgum yelled. "I didn't want to be here anyway. You and you stinking monster smell foul." Gorgum mumbled, walking in the direction of the party.

Seeing that they would be seen soon, Traris, summoned his shadow blade and ran up to Gorgum. Slashing down on him with the blade twice. Both attacks hit the Gorgum, neither of them left any mark on his body, but Gorgum screamed in pain clutching his head.

Fenn ran right behind Traris, aiming his swords at the demon he swung forward. Both attacks struck the demon, sending it reeling in pain. It was not looking too good anymore.

Luca also jumped into the fray, aiming her halberd at the demon she went into the flurry of attacks. Her halberd swiped at the demon, once she was done, the demon could barely stand.

Mag fell back into her primal instincts, as her vision turned red she locked onto the demon closest to her. charging she attacked with her axe. Chopping the foul creature's head off before it could even react. Mag's eyes locked onto the Chuul and dashed to it quickly. the wind even seemed to carry her forward.

Traris dashed forth, He needed to help Mag, that creature may be powerful, so the sooner it died, the better. he first used his shadow blade, the creature wailed in pain from the mental damage. Traris then struck it with his regular sword, crackling with electricity. and once again followed through with another slash from his shadow blade. that last attack made the creature wail much more than normal.

The Chuul was not looking good. Its brain couldn't handle the pain it was feeling. So it fell on its instincts, to attack the biggest thing. it used its pincer to attack Mag. The explosion of movement easily caught Mag off guard crushing her. The Chuul looked toward Traris trying to do the same thing but, A magic shield blocked the attack. The Chuul turned back onto Mag, who was stuck in its arms. Using tentacles located around its mouth area, it tried to inject mag. some liquid. But her Sturdy body rejected the liquid.

Fenn ran over to the Chuul. If he wanted to make sure Mag was safe he needed to kill the thing before it had a chance to do anything. Raising his swords he slashed at the Chuul. both cuts went through the carapace of the monster drawing blood.

Luca ran over to Gelram, swinging at the demon, Luca barely missed him. Charging her halberd with divine power she cleaved both his arm and part of his leg off. Using the but of her halberd she knocked the demon clean out.

Mag struggled against the Chuul's pincer, finally breaking free after a moment. Raising her hand, she punched the Abomination.

Traris raised his shadow blade, piercing Chuul's skull. As the blade made contact with the brain of the abomination, the Chuul screeched, before finally falling, dead.
