Cheers of triumph filled the hall. Many people were just glad that they survived. Yuana, The Queen of the Elves, stood tall, with an air of dignity and authority. But Fenn, someone used to the tired faces of the people in the umbral citadel, noticed the tiredness in her eyes.

"Thank you," The Queen said. "Many lives could have been lost if you hadn't intervened." A chorus of agreement spread throughout the hall.

"I am grateful for your compliments my Queen," Fenn bowed. "But we couldn't have done it not for your effort in repelling the specters in the hall."

"Thank you for your words." Queen Yuana sighed "Never would I have thought monsters would try to invade the peace summit." A guard made his way to the Queen, whispering into her ear. Queen Yuana made a thoughtful face, looking at the hole through which the monsters came. "The wall shared a side with the teleport circles." The Queen made a concerned face. "We can only assume that the circles are being used against us." This brought a worried murmur throughout the crowd. "For now I, Queen Yuana Farlan, call for the Peace Summit to be postponed. At least until the unknown threat is identified and we can guarantee everyone's safety." This caused some waves as many people were not expecting this.

"Queen Yuana, where will we go?" One of the delegates spoke. "If the teleport circles are compromised, then we can't trust that whatever is on the opposite side is safe." This was accompanied by others agreeing with the concerned delegate.

"Until the Circles have been confirmed to be clear and safe, everyone here is welcome to stay here in Fenleman." The elven queen responded.

This settled many of the delegates down. Throughout the rest of the day, people's injuries were healed and settled into quarters. The story of how four brave people slew a devil and a giant during the peace summit spread like fire. As people gathered in the banquet hall to dine for the night, the names Fennan, Luciana, Maglath, and Traris were celebrated. they were offered free drinks and a chance to introduce themselves to each other. Fennan and Luciana were very outgoing while Traris and Maglath sat back and enjoyed their drinks.

"... And so! We slew the giant ogre!" Fenn finished his tale of heroism, recounting how the four of them had killed a devil and an ogre zombie. The tale was immaculate. Fennan showed great skill as he held the audience captive the entire time. He was able to paint such a vivid picture that many people were brought to tears with his somewhat embellished tale.

"How did you make such a wonderful story Fenn?" Traris said astonished. "When did you even have the time?"

"I made it right now!" Fenn said smirking "Honestly I am surprised with myself!"

"Fenn?" Maglath said. "Is that a nickname?"

"Well, ya," Traris said. "I called him Fenn when we were little, and I never really lost that habit.

"If we are on the topic of nicknames," Luca started. "You may call me Luca. I understand that 'Luciana' is a mouthful and impractical for casual conversation.

"Then you may call me Mag," Maglath said. "I see no reason to lengthen it any further."

As the day ended, many people retired from the hall full of laughter and to their beds. Luca went back to where Isma was as well as the rest of the people from her family. Mag traveled to the local monastery where she had lived for the last 5 years. Traris retired to his quarters, taking Fenn as a guest.

The next day, The group had each been invited to an audience with the Queen. Upon arriving, they were greeted by the Queen sitting on her throne.

"Welcome Heroes." Queen Yuana said, slightly amused with them. "I am sure you all had a lovely evening."

"Thank you Queen" Fenn said bowing. "What can I..." Fenn stopped before looking at the rest of the group. "No, we do for you?"

"As you very well know," The Queen said amused by the party "We were attacked by monsters yesterday." Queen Yuana gripped her throne. "Although no one was permanently hurt or worse, killed, we can't let this happen again." The Queen got up from her throne. "Normally, We would have sent people through the portals. but now those are too risky for untrained people." Queen Yuana looked at each of the parties. "We need people who can hold their own against the enemy. We would have sent our elite agents, but they are all occupied with assignments on the current world crisis."

"I would love to help in any way I can," Luca said stepping forward. "Those demons need to be eradicated." She scowled. "They could be the reason I and the members of my faith have been having trouble hearing from our Lady."

"I would love to help you, my queen," Traris said excitedly. "What do you say, Fenn? Up for another adventure?" Traris looked at Fenn expectantly.

"Of course!" Fenn grinned back. "Who am I to refuse a Queen?"

"I swore that I wouldn't hurt people ever again," Mag said and everyone looked at her. "But these monsters are a plague to our people, and I would be remiss if I let them hurt any others." Mag stepped forward. "You have my body for this cause."

"So it's settled then?" Queen Yuana said. "I would happily send you off tomorrow, but something is missing." The Queens said with a mischievous smile. "The heroes of Fenleman need a name!" Queen Yuana proclaimed. "Henceforth you shall be called The Heroes of Heaven!" The Queen raised her head and hand. "May you guide us back to the gods."

And so the story "The Heroes of Heaven." began.
