Dungeon Creator #8

Dam, those were some cool names.

I should have named my iPod something cool like that.

I knew that the names didn't necessarily represent the power that each item had.

I decided to just go to sleep come tomorrow I was determined to make three friends tomorrow.

"I'm glad you had a good day at school honey"

My mom came in my room and wanted to talk to me.

"Hey, mom do you know how to buy a kevlar vest?"

She gave me a funny look and said "of course I know how to buy hoodies honey"

So anything that had to do with the dungeons timeline got filtered ou huh.

That was okay by me, I didn't want her getting in trouble.

"Thanks for taking care of me mom"

"Your welcome honey sleep well."

Sleep well after someone made an ICBM base with there unique item that was kinda funny.

The next day I saw a welcome at the bottom of my vision except for this time.

The welcome said welcome dungeoneer meaning the system update had gone through and dungeons would be generated naturally.

I hopped online to talk to my guild. The only thing that stopped me before was my mom making me go to school.

I bet she was seeing me eat breakfast with her.

I tested it out before but she couldn't see my dad's machete when I was holding it.

So apparently dungeoneers were allowed to walk around in society with weapons but nobody could see them besides other dungeoneers.

>System Alert

Everything within a quarter of a mile of your resting place will be designated as a safe zone.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

That meant that my house would always be a safe place as long as I slept in my bed every night.

I opened up the GC and picked out a message I wanted to respond too it said

~Greetings

I responded

~If you want to interact with me use the codename a codename

~So your making friends now?-Templar

~Your the first person I've communicated with

~I thought about it and using codenames is a good idea-Templar

Everyone was going nuts and typing because they knew I was talking to someone. They could see my messages so they knew I was texting someone.

~Wanna do a dungeon raid together sometime?

~Sure where do you live?-Templar

Like I was gonna tell an unknown where I lived. I was just goofing around to see if my system worked.

Now everyone in the GC wanted to talk to me I would let the simmer and assign them all code names together.

When they realized that it was more beneficial to interact then too not.

I was gonna go on an adventure today though. I lived in a suburbs, to the north of my neighborhood was a town. And to the south was a state park.

I walked into the garage and pulled out my bike.

I started riding towards town I needed to get stronger so I wouldn't have to be afraid of getting killed when meeting other dungeoneers.

The reason I chose to go into town was that it seemed safer.

What if I went into the forest and got mauled by a bear?

A machete wouldnt save me I knew that much.

Eventually, I reached the edge of the green safe zone and the beginning of the town.

My goal for the day was to find a dungeon that could upgrade my t-shirt or maybe a helmet.

I needed something to protect my heart and eyes.

I could just buy riot gear but I didn't feel like stealing money from my mom.

The first dungeon I saw was a pawn shop, as I biked down the sidewalk I saw an interface pop up as I passed it.

Hobgoblin Instance Dungeon

>Reward two hundred dollars

Of course, a pawn shop would give off real-world currency as a reward. If I managed to complete that dungeon I could buy riot gear.

I was on an adventure though I wanted to check out and see if I could find a dungeon that gave me armor to protect my vitals.

I got to the middle of town and started biking around.

I saw the grocery store had a dungeon.

Mandrake Barracks

>Reward as many nutritious vegetables as you can afford

Eating that every day would probably lead to getting stronger than bodybuilders.

Probably the dungeon would upgrade to give of sage fruit or something if you could beat all the mandrakes. And then you could transcend the limitations of the human body.

Or maybe nutritious just meant you'd live longer.

Regardless Id have to come back with a truck to get the most out of that dungeon attempt.

I found numerous dungeons but none of them had exactly what I was looking for.

Until finally at the liquor store, there was one that seated my needs.

Dizziness clay men Dungeon Instance

>Reward Clay Armour

Not that seemed like what I needed I could mold the armor to become what I needed

I watched the cars pass until it was safe to cross the road.
