I walked inside, does this t-shirt count as armor?
It doesn't matter if it did I was gonna wear it everywhere.
I walked inside and lay on my bed and started the tutorial, it took me almost two hours to get through the whole thing.
At least now I had a better understanding of how this all works.
The only super useful thing I learned was that created dungeons are destroyable. If your not in the dungeon then you can destroy it regardless of how high its level is.
Also dungeons cant grow without a dungeoneer in them.
So I didn't have to worry about the first dungeon I created turning into the magical school bus and flying away.
I clicked Destroy Dungeon and a hud flashed in front of my vision.
Destroy I clicked it and the text disappeared into sparkles.
Not like I was ever gonna go back to school now that I had this power. I mean why would I?
The dream that had been birthed in my heart was to create my own clan of dungeoneers like in the video game I played.
Speaking of which it was time to get online. I logged in and started playing with my friends.
"You don't look sick buster."
Said my mom as she opened my door and peered into my dark room.
I wanted to make my room into a dungeon but I was scared it would level up in my sleep and eat me or something.
"It's a terrible flu I can hardly walk." I pretended to fall over and faint but I never let go of my game controller.
My shirt actually cushioned the impact somewhat and it felt like I fell onto grass instead of a hardwood floor.
"What do you want for dinner honey?"
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
I hadn't really thought about dinner my mind had been abuzz with thoughts of new creations.
"Just a pizza, will be fine mom."
She quietly closed the door, at least my mom respected my video game time.
The next day I got up and the welcome message appeared at the bottom of my vision again. If I lost this power it would be the biggest regret of my life.
It was time to test out my new idea. I planned to make a dungeon without living creatures.
I pretended to be asleep until my mom left then I ran out into the backyard.
From the tutorial I had learned that the creation of dungeons was based on the will of the creator.
So I sat next to the fountain in my yard and thought about the fountain being alive and everything around it being a safe zone.
With a click of the Dungeon Creation Button, there was a rolling green area all around the fountain.
Fountain challenge Instance dungeon created
The dungeon will be completed the moment you step outside of the safe zone or water shoots straight up. Challenge: Don't let the fountain shoot water high into the air.
Man, these dungeons that aren't living are to easy I thought to myself as I went inside to get a bowl.
I put it on to off the fountain now the water couldn't shoot up.
+1 exp
It went like that for five exp until with a puff it blasted the bowl off.
It was just like the ant dungeon it had levels.
I held the pot down forcibly and it couldn't get blasted off it went like this for another five exp until I got bored and decided to bend the pipe so it shot sideways now I could never lose.
It went like this for 10 exp until I heard a loud ding.
The dungeon has leveled up
Level 1
The next thing I felt was a water blast to my face and I got soaked.
The nozzle could twist sideways and it twisted too blast me in the face.
I was in the safe zone but it was still annoying to keep getting soaked.
So I charged it with my pot and weaving and dodging through the streams of water I covered the fountain again.
I got 5 more exp until with a quick turn it spun its nosel in the opposite direction and shot out a stream that changed direction mid-air and actually went up.
That was just cheating I thought to myself.
Dungeon Completed
Choose your reward >Pressurized Super Soaker >Fountain Of Tranquility
I'd rather upgrade my house so I clicked on the Fountain.
When within 10 feet of the fountain your mind will naturally feel more tranquil.
I had completed what I set out to do, create a passive dungeon that gave a buff, and didn't have to be destroyed.
But that wasn't exactly what I did, I created a safe zone with a buff item.
It couldn't technically be classified as a friendly dungeon because it wasn't a dungeon anymore.
A tranquil state of mind doesn't seem that valuable but it was valuable in the fact that it was passive and I just needed to sit near it.
As I sat there only one thought occurred to me.
I want friends to go into and fight the dungeons with!
