It was past the midpoint of immersion when Terrance reentered DCO and found himself in his barely stocked player home. For a moment he was about to head for the dungeon when a prompt appeared in front of him.
Quest: License (failed)
It has been discovered you have been doing unapproved repair services. B.L.U (Ballistic Locomotive Ultra-raptor) a higher ranking unit, was the one to find out this fact. Due to a lack of living mechanics, she made a judgment call.
Quest item:
Citizen membership card (m)- you have been given a temporary permit (72 hours/expired) for repair operations. Increases the success rate of repairing mobs. (note: this will not replace class but be considered a profession. Players are not limited by their professions as they are classes, but there are still restrictions.)
BLU has assigned S.P.A.R.S. and five raptors to aid you in this task. Now called S.P.A.R.S unit.
Quest requirements:
Slay or cure 50 mutant or zombified mobs (x/50)
??? (x/1)
Quest rewards:
Permanent license upgrade to citizen card. (increase the success rate of repair/grooming. Increase yield of all common mob affection drops by 1, with a chance of additional drop from higher rarities. This upgrade affects all floors.)
Pacifist level 4 unlock for SPARS + unit
Quest fail:
S,P.A.R.S. is destroyed (1/1)
Player dies (x/1)
Descending to floor 3 (x/1)

Due to S.P.A.R.S being destroyed this quest has come to an end. Your license has turned into fake i.d.
Fake i.d.- permits you to repair, but closer inspection will show this is a fake. Hostility to dino’s who realize you are a fake will become absolute.
Rage, anger, self-loathing... He looked at the details of the failed mission and found that S.P.A.R.S. was destroyed not long ago. The Knights of Ni showed up and absolutely destroyed the bots within a minute. It was a strange fortune that his squad managed to get at least one of the knights however when his revolver unit did an amazing trickshot to snipe the mage when he was casting. He knows the trick shooter had a skill involving ‘play the odds’ in which the harder the shot the higher piercing true damage he could deal. Knowing who the knights are, the trick shot must have had a 99% or greater chance of failure if the target was standing still. He could only imagine a 10,000x multiplier in damage could have killed one of the supposed level 50 plus players by what would amount to a level 40 average mob. Maybe the 10% or less multiplier of 1,000x could have but that was iffy at best. He then shook his head. How his bots were defeated was not really what he needed to worry about he realized. It is what he will do now.

Terrance arrived at the second floor and went to the mechanic shop to find it in ruin like it was before he and the squad took it over. Surprisingly the remains of the squad littered the area. Seeing all the upgrades he spent real-life money on gone. He decided to move on. After wandering the city aimlessly, once by the Terminus’s lair, he found himself in a bar in the NPC zone that was not added long ago.
“ Something strong!”
The NPC looked at him a moment then grabbed a bottle with a gold gear on it.
“ That will be 200, and I need to see I.D..”
Absentmindedly Terrance pulled out the fake and put it on the counter. Normally the game would know what to allow those underage to drink alcohol or not, and since Terrance did not specify some liquor, an I.D. would not be needed anyway. But because of the fake I.D, being in his inventory, the prompt was given.
“ So you’re the guy that been fixing up the roamers?”
Terrance blinked at the NPC.
“ Roamers?”
The NPC points to a table with four raptors drinking from bowels.
“ Those four are regulars. Seen you a few times with the old police team. Sad to hear what happened to them.”
Terrance took the glass in front of him and sighs.
“ Yea, a good group they were. I put a lot of effort into fixing them up to.”
The NPC looked at him and chuckled.
“ Life goes on, their story came to a close, so you should start a new one.”
Terrance smirked and took a deep drink from the glass and paid his tab.
“ Thanks for the talk barkeep.”
Terrance then stood and left.
Glyax smirked seeing how the scenario played out. He was sad that when S.P.A.R.S was destroyed the raid was lost with it. As the dungeon core, he could naturally meddle with the scenario and had several ideas for the raid. Pushing the player in the right direction to restore the raid was an easy task. Now he had to figure out how the hell he was going to access the secret boss that came with it.
