Iron doll Ch. 4

Iron doll Ch. 4

There is a carriage of Royalty sitting in front of a lowly Barons home with guards stationed all over, one may think it was some type of ambassador or something but not just for the sake of making sure the child doesn't run can't have random royal bastards somewhere to throw off the legitimacy of the next emperor.

A man in his mid teens follows a handsome but not outrageously so child out, the man sits in the carriage in the back that is for servants and the boy in the one for royals.

The guards all enter they're on respective horses and set off following close to the carriage as they make the two-week journey to the capital where all children of royalty are meant to be raised, with constant bumps and uneven ground the carriage for servants was uncomfortable while the one for the royal hardly even moved from even the worst potholes.

Dusk comes and they set up around the carriage for sleep that night and continue the next day, no attacks occurred.

No robber is stupid enough to attack and the young master is too weak to be a competition for the throne so none of his siblings even bothered to try and get rid of him when so much attention is currently on him. They will have plenty of chances to get him out of the way in the future without trouble.

So our two weeks are spent easily and without danger, entering the capital murmurs are heard around them as curiosity at the new prince comes.

Most already heard of how talentless and useless he is so feeling nothing but malicious glee as the carriage passes knowing the fate that awaits him, certain death and pain as he is dealt with by those who wish for no potential problems.

As the carriage approached the massive doors swung open to welcome the carriage into the castle where the one in them where unlikely to leave alive once inside.

The doors shut with a thud and the carriage pulls them to the side before parking as the carriages aren't allowed any further than this inside the royal home, exiting the carriages first the guards and servants all stood in formation waiting for the newest member to open the door.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

The boy opens and goes to step down alone but is stopped by many hands all reaching out from directions to help him step down, but the hand he took is from the young man who wore a grey and green outfit with a cheap hair pin in his hair.

The young man helped him off the carriage and bowed in a 90-degree bow when the young man walked past him before straightening up.

The child is brought to a bath house where he is thoroughly cleaned and given new high-grade clothing in blue and green with yellow designs of snakes running down the sleeves and a pure white bottom layer that's collar stood out against the colors the boy wore.

The young man who is brought among the servants is taken to another location while this occurs, more specifically the training halls meant for new servants and bodyguards as many usually doubled as both in this place.

The boy is taken before the emperor and keeps his head down and in a dogeza bow, he holds so belief that he is worth more then dirt in the man before him eyes.

Not even a word is said before he is escorted to a decent sized home with no servants in sight and much dust and grime having built up around the place since it's clear neglect, the garden is overgrown with little Varity and the pathways are covered in grass and dirt showing this is a place with no worth.

He sighs but waits for Qi to come and clean things up like he always does, but as the sun goes down and Qi fails to show he knows he can no longer wait so enters the bed chambers and wipes as much as he can down before sitting down and waiting to see if he will show.

Qi only arrives almost a full hour after the boy has cleaned the room and the child is now tired from all the events and stress that has finally somewhat calmed down for now.

The boy gets Qi to perform their daily training they have missed out on due to moving around and so the rest of the night is spent cultivating as the boy will not be required to attend the imperial tutoring until after the first week of being in the palace.

Like this the servant spends the day learning his duties and being taught proper martial arts by the royal guards themselves while training his young master at night he gets only an hour rest a day, but he is used to little sleep and so continues on as usual until the day his first master goes to the grand tutors' lessons.

Though little actually changes for the servant for the boy it is like going from heaven into hell as many of his so-called siblings are there and are all further along them him using the imperial cultivation style since as soon as they were deemed old enough.

He was behind and would now need to change his circulation pattern slowly to change to this new style of cultivation.

It was going to be a long road for him and most likely a dead end one at that.
