First, I'd like to thank everyone for reading and commenting on my book. I appreciate each and every one of you. I was warned that I needed to have "tough skin" when posting here on RR however, all of you have been pretty great so far and I look forward to interacting with all of you in the future.

I'll address the small amounts of comments about grammar to start. Just know that I will continue to work on my issues as they come, and please keep pointing them out to me so that I may address them. The biggest one I've had to fix so far is my absolute mess that was my dialog. As someone new to writing fantasy, or any other genre for that matter, I did not know how dialog worked. And as many books as I've read throughout my life, I never paid attention to how dialog was typed. All of my writing experiences were in incident report writing, which is WAY different than writing for books. So thank you for the help in this area, I sorely needed it.

Radio traffic: Whether it should be 5 by 5 or loud and clear. only civilians and Hollywood still uses 5 by 5. Current military and police use "plain text" along with "10 and 11 code" They use plain text so that allies listening will know what is being said. Not everyone knows what most codes mean, and in fact, different departments have different meanings for the 10 and 11 codes, which is why plain text is used the most. 5 by 5 means that your signal is coming in strong (loud) and your words are easily heard (clear), so 5 by 5 means loud and clear in plain text.

Kids Systems: The "children" we've really come into contact with is the MC's son who is in his late teens and already has his system screens. They haven't come into contact with any young children just yet, and so they have no clue about kid's systems at this time. Will it be addressed in the future? Most assuredly. It will also be addressed as to why older people in their mid to late fifties or older didn't initialize with magic spells from the start like all the younger people did. (No one caught that one yet LOL, or if they did they didn't comment on it)

Apocalypse progressing too fast/ people too aggressive early on/ MC and crew have had nothing but squirrels then boom Murder lol: To start, the MC and crew specifically decided to walk straight line through the brush and farmland to bypass any towns or even farm houses for this reason. If you're a student of survival methodology, then you'll most likely be aware of the three day rule. Those that need electricity to survive, like in hospitals and nursing homes, would be dead within the first day. Looting would also start within the first day and most of the food stores would be gone. People would only have what was left in their fridges and freezers, which would only last three days roughly, if they didn't open them up too much. After that, people would start to fight with their neighbors for the supplies they have. Keep in mind, we're talking about the normal law abiding citizens. Criminal elements would start their looting, and unfortunately killing, on the first day during a true apocalypse, especially if it's a "grid down" situation. Besides gang violence, thieves and drug addicts would be a serious problem on the very first day.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

Ammo and supplies at the PD: would most of the ammo and supplies be taken by the officers? I mean... It's a possibility. We kind of address it in the book, that there should have been more ammo in the storage container, and it was either budget cuts or more likely was taken by other officers.

That leads me into the comment about "Might makes right." I mean... that was in the middle of a raid or theft, so ya he kind of had to make them submit or fail at his objectives. I don't think that really counts in the aspect for which I think the comment was made. There definitely will be some "might makes right" scenarios coming up however. Philosophically speaking, you're not going to be able to get around "might makes right" in some way or another. Especially not in an apocalypse. If you think about it, everyone lives in "might makes right" scenarios right now. Every country in the world holds its citizens to what they consider are good and correct laws, because they have the power to enforce those laws. Even if it's only a social contract granting the governing body the right to enforce laws. You either abide by the laws or you get punished. Whether those laws are good and correct are subjective. Without it, there would be anarchy.

I'd like to switch now to the topic of "TJ". I mean... what can I say. He's going to be the main antagonist. He has to progress just as the MC does. Should I have written a different prologue, or left his name out? I could have, sure. But I chose to use the prologue to foreshadow events to come. All I can say besides that, is to hold on, he's coming.

I know there were a couple other issues to address, but I think we have enough here to start some good conversations.

Thank you all, and I hope you continue to enjoy this story.
