Hey guys first let me apologize, I'm very sorry for not getting a new chapter out, and not posting somewhere that i was away, the last week things have been hectic.

No I haven't stopped writing this, i was was busy with so much stuff, ranging from going to Salt Lake to the cancer treatment center, for my checkups, to work and school, don't worry even though i had cancer, we removed the damaged area before it spread, these are just 3 month check ups to make sure nothing has changed.

The problem is i got sick after driving back, and was in bed for a few days with a horrible fever, after getting better i had to catch up on school work, and take more shifts at work at work for a few days to make up for my absence, dumb i know.

Because of this i had little to no time to write anything, but now I'm finally able to sit down for a few hours and hammer one out.

My schedule has also changed so i can only guarantee 3 chapters a week, I'll try to flush out more if i can.

Now for the people getting a little worked up about how nothing majorly exciting has happened, i planned for this to be a long novel, so there will not be a fight every chapter, or some plot being opened up every chapter.

They are all connected, so you just need to be patient and, it will all come together.

All right enough of that, starting next chapter things will finally start to pick up, and  get more interesting.

I'll be posting a new chapter tomorrow so be prepared.

Chapter 5: Twins

After getting into the carriage, Weylan Ana, and the others were chatting happily, all the way back to the royal palace, on the way there Weylan saw how massive it was, for a few kilometers houses and buildings no longer appeared.

After reaching the path that lead to the palace, he saw a massive piece of land in one area he saw hundreds of solders training some were cultivating, others sparring.

In another area he saw hundreds of trees, in the trees there was a pond that had fish in it, after passing this area in the carriage he saw the royal palace.

It was golden scarlet first rising from the bottom of the palace was bright red, all the way to the top, until it was golden.

It took a few minutes to reach the giant doors into the palace, this place was like a city on it's own, completely isolated from the outside world.

Normally there would be soldiers patrolling or even walls, but they had no need of it because surrounding the area was a massive formation, if one had any bad intentions they would be injured immediately, and all the soldiers would be alerted.

Unless one was a supreme expert getting passed the formation was next to impossible, in the Snow Empire this was the most secure place, other than Weylan's own home and sect.

The group got out of the carriage and headed into the palace, once inside they were greeted by the maids and butlers of the palace.

After walking for awhile they made their way to the transport formation room, walking in the room it was pure white.

Weylan Julia and Uncle Fang, walked into the center of the formation, once inside they turned to look at the little girl and her mom.

Aunt Tayla looking at them said,” goodbye everyone, it was nice to see you Fang, you as well Julia.” In a warm voice.

Julia gave her a cute smile, and Uncle Fang a small nod.

She than looked at Weylan and said,” me and Ellia will be going to your house soon, it sounds like your mother will be giving birth before you start going to school.” in loving voice.

Weylan hearing this slightly nodded and said,” than I'll see you soon Aunt Tayla.” in warm voice.

He looked at Ellia and said,” Ana, we'll see each other soon, you should practice until you make a breakthrough, in one months time we should both be at the first rank, you as a magus and me as a warrior.”

Everyone hearing this gasped, Ana just smiled and said,” of course, I wouldn't have it anyone other way, if we're gonna do this, we might as well do it to the best of our ability and show the world how amazing we are.” with a grin on her face, and determination in her eyes.

Weylan looked at Ellia and Aunt Tayla one last time before saying to Uncle Fang,” Guess it's time we go, Mom is probably nervous, we shouldn't make her wait.”

Uncle Fang hearing this nodded, than he channeled energy into the formation, and picked the location before everything flashed.

Weylan and the other two felt like their bodies were compressed and stretched, and could only see darkness surrounding them.

This only lasted a few seconds until, they felt their bodies return back to normal, and felt the ground under them, than opened their eyes and saw that they were standing in a small room, that was black and had no natural light but seemed to glow, so they had no problems seeing.

Weylan looking around and was confused,” shouldn't there be someone here to meet us?” He said to himself.

The others were confused as well, than Uncle Fang eyes flashed and said,” little Wey, let's go something must have happened, only people with authorization can use this transport, and the people in your house would have noticed the energy fluctuations.”

Weylan hearing this nodded his head and said,”makes sense, let's go and see what's going on.”

The three of them left the room and started heading into the main part of the house, seeing no one around they were surprised, did everyone leave or did something happen?

Weylan thinking for a minute, then his eyes flashed and with a small grin he said to the other two,” let's go to the second floor, I think this problem will answer itself.”

Uncled Fang hearing this was surprised, than smiled and said,”let's hurry.”

Julia confused just followed the other two.

Walking through the house they found there way to the stairs, after walking up the stairs and passing through the formation, they found Laylen standing there with a nervous expression on his face.

Laylen seeing them immediately said,” you three finally showed up, Sister Tayla sent a message saying you guys were heading back, Meira went into labor a little bit ago, let's go,” in worried tone.

Julia hearing this was excited and said,” Aunty is giving birth? Come on let's go!”

Weylan seeing this laughed slightly before following her, the other two close behind.

Walking for a few minutes they passed a couple of rooms, one was the training hall, the door was huge and was made out of wood, it was dark blue, the material the door was made out of is called skyfrost wood from the the skyfrost tree.

It's a very rare tree, that can live for hundreds of thousands of years, a few have been recorded to live for more than a million, they are priceless treasures.

The main use for them, is for sealing materials and in this case, the door is meant to hold in the energy from being released out of the door, of course the door itself can't do all this, there is a formation laid down in the room itself the door is connected to the formation, and is used as an external formation sealer.

No energy sound or smell is released from the room, it's so this place stays quiet and serene, for a rare treasure to be used this way, only extremely rich or lucky people could do this, and most people could only stare in envy.

Walking past this room is the treasury, the door itself has small energy fluctuations coming out of it, it's blood red, this door is even more of a treasure than then the skyfrost tree, the materials vary but the core, is a divine treasure, it's called the blood sealing core.

If anything tries to open it, without the key, it will burn your blood until it evaporates almost immediately, it seals your cultivation as well, so almost nothing can break the door, it's definitely worthy of being called a divine treasure.

Passed this is the baby's room, although on the other side of this floor is bedrooms for the kids, Weylan's parents wanted to have the kids next to their room.

Walking to the end of the hall, there is a giant door made out of solid gold, this is Weylan's parents room.

Arriving at the door, they can hear grunts of pain coming from the other side, Laylen hearing this started to get nervous and was walking back and forth, seeing this Uncle Fang said,” brother Lay calm down, she'll be fine Sis is very strong and stubborn.” in a comforting voice.

Nodding his head Laylen said,” your right brother Fang, she'll definitely be fine, but still it's my wife how can I not be nervous, and what if something happens to the kids?” in a worried voice.

Weylan looked at at his dad and said,” Dad don't worry, Mom and my sibling will be okay, I can sense both their life forces and they aren't in any danger, let's just wait until things are finished then you'll see.” in a confident and warm voice.

Laylen hearing his son speak was startled and said, Wey Wey, you can sense life force? How is that possible, your not lying to father right?” in a serious voice.

Weylan shaking his head said,” no Dad I'm not lying it's something I've always been able to do, sorry I've kept it a secret I was scared of what you would think.”

Laylen hearing this walked over and gave Weylan a big hug saying,” sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I was just surprised that you could do that, Wey Wey no matter what happens Father will always love you.” in warm and loving voice.

Weylan's eyes started to water and hugged his dad back, then the door to the bedroom swung open, and the midwife was there looking at them and said,” everything is okay, she safely gave birth come in.”

Weylan and the others immediately walked in, and saw his mother on her bed with a blanket and had a little lump in it.

Seeing us walk in, she smiled sweetly before saying,” Laylen come and see your children, Wey Wey come and see your siblings.” in a warm voice.

Both Weylan and Laylen blurted out,” Children?” siblings?”

Seeing them act like this she laughed before saying,” right I gave birth to twins, hurry over already.”

They were so excited they ran over to her and what they saw was, two little babies, a boy and girl.

The girl like her mother had blood colored hair, and was looking at them with an innocence only a baby could have, she had emerald eyes like her father.

The boy like his father had brown hair, and his eyes were bright blue like his mother's, and was looking at them almost confused.

Ironically they had traits from both parents in appearance.

Weylan walked up and was looking at them both gently with a loving smile on his face, noticing his presence the little girl looked at him, and held her hands up trying to grab something.

Seeing this Weylan gave her his finger and she immediately held onto it, and looked very content.

The baby boy, noticing this started to cry, Meira seeing this smiled and said,” Wey Wey take your sister for a minute while I calm down your brother.”

Doing as he was told he held the girl, and started rocking her in his arms with a big smile on his face, the little girl being held looked very happy almost smiling, of course this was just Weylan's interpretation, since newborns can't really give facial expression's.

After a little while, she started to fall asleep but the baby boy was still wailing, seeing this Weylan smiled mysteriously and walked over to his dad.

Laylen seeing him coming was excited and said,” Wey Wey, give me your sister I want to hold my daughter.”

Weylan just laughed and and handed over his sister, to his dad who took her and held her gently like she was the worlds most important treasure.

Walking over to his mother and crying brother, Weylan smiled and said,” Mom let me hold him, let's see If I can't calm him down.” in a caring voice.

Smiling she nodded before handing him over and said,” I don't know why he's acting like this, he shouldn't be hungry for a while longer, and neither you or your sister cried like he is.”

Picking up his baby brother, Weylan smiled and tapped his index finger to the baby's forehead his eyes shined a little brighter, a few seconds later the crying baby stopped and slowly fell asleep.

Meira seeing this she gasped and said in a nervous voice,” Wey Wey what did you do?”

Weylan hearing this smiled at her and said,” just a little trick to help him calm down, only a baby and he's a sly one, he was crying to keep your attention away from his sister, haha he's gonna grow up to be a momma's boy”

Everyone hearing this was surprised and started laughing, after calming down he handed the baby back to his mother and asked,” so Mom what's their names, have you decided yet?”

Meira was a little surprised and asked Laylen,” dear what do you think? I name one and you the other?”

Laylen was excited before saying,” that sounds good I'll name the girl and you the boy.” after saying this he started to ponder.

A few minutes later, Meira spoke up and said,” I've decided his name will be Alex, named after my father” with a smile on her face while looking tenderly at Alex.

Laylen nodding his head said,” my wife that is a good name, in that case, I'll name her Emily, after my mentor.” with a grin on his face looking at her lovingly.

Once the names were decided everyone talked for a little bit before leaving the room, so Meira could clean up and put the babies that were asleep, in their own beds.

Leaving the room they all went to the cultivation field sat down and started to chat.

After talking for a little while, Meira showed back up looking refreshed and in new clothes, seeing this Laylen got up and asked,” is it okay for you to be up so soon, shouldn't you be resting?”

Meira gave him a small smile before saying,”I'm stronger than I look, anyway after talking to Weylan for a few minutes I'll be going back to rest.”

Done saying this she looked at Weylan, with a serious look and asked,” so how was it, tell me what your attributes are, and your ranking.” in an anxious tone.

Weylan noticing the serious look on his mother, told her and his father everything that happened.

After telling them, what happened they looked at him dumbfounded, especially his mother, before they both started laughing loudly, with glee.

Calming down his mother looked down at him and said,” Wey Wey this more than I could have hoped for, no one has gotten a Legend ranking for more than a hundred years, I would love you regardless, but my family is a little different, to them strength is everything.

I was worried that in a few years when you can finally join the sect, you would be shunned and looked down upon, this makes mommy so relieved that she doesn't need to worry about this.” in an emotional voice.

She leaned down and picked him and held him gently in her arms.

Smiling Weylan said,” you don't need to worry mother, I will never let you or father down.”

Looking at his dad he said,” I'm sure that you would love for me to be such a genius as a magus as well, but the heavens have a limit to good luck, at least your future daughter in law will be a genius magus.” with sly grin on his face.

Laylen who was originally a little disappointed, let out a chuckle and said,” that's right even though you didn't inherit my abilities as a magus, there is still Ellia, who will be my daughter someday, and who's to say your brother and sister won't be a genius magi either.” in a content voice.

Noticing it getting late, they decided to go to bed, originally Uncle Fang and Julia were supposed to share a room, but not wanting to be away from Weylan, Julia shared his bed.

Weylan laying in his bed looked down at Julia who was holding him and with her head on his chest, he smiled warmly before drifting off to dreamland.
