Announcement! Very important!

I originally posted this on the fiction page, but decided to move it here, since i re-edited the old chapters anyway, so only the readers that have read this from the beginning will notice a change

In other news,thank you for all the kind words, it means a lot this is my first novel ever, therefore it's something i have never done before.

This means that i will have more errors than i would like to admit, along the way there will be a few revisions, this is the first.

I can honestly say i hated some of the names for my characters, and continents etc, so i changed them, and this is the only time they will be changed.

Please don't hate me too much, after working and school, i write these chapters before i go to bed, and sometimes stay up to 3 in the morning writing them, coming up with ideas and names that late (or early) isn't easy, so i apologize.

These are the changes

Lucian (Light)  Azura, is now Weylan Azura. Lucian> Weylan

Ellie (Illiana) Snow, is now Ellia Snow. Ellie> Ellia

MC's mother was Vera, it's now Meira Azura. Vera> Meira

Dark Cloud Continent, is now the Holy Cloud Continent.

The Divine Fate Continent, is now the Mysterious Lands.

Again i apologize for the trouble, i was half asleep writing these, and after reading them over again, i really hated the names i gave them.

Too make up for it, i will do a chapter  tonight, and one tomorrow, the one i did tonight was longer than my usual, so i will upload one tomorrow, and the guaranteed one the next day.

So three chapters in three days, Yay! Enjoy.

Chapter 3: The test

Once the Bright light faded, I was able to look at my surroundings, it was white even the floor that was made out marble was white.

The only blemish that could be found was the formation me and Ana were currently standing on, after looking around Ana whispers into my ear saying, “let's go, my mom will get annoyed if we take too long.”

Taking my hand, she lead me through the halls that seem to go on forever, when we stop in front of a door, Ana says “this is my mother's study, so don't touch anything without permission.”

Before I could say anything she pulls me into the room, saying to myself.” how rude, what am I a child?”

A women looking at a book, hears us open the door and takes her eyes off the book, seeing who it is she let's out a warm smile and says, “Ellia welcome home, and hello little Wey, took you two long enough.”

Looking at her I can only describe her as gentle, she has bright purple eyes blue hair that reaches her waist, wearing an elegant green robe pink lips, small eyebrows with a small smile on her face, her aura has very gentle feel to it.

Getting up she walked over and gave me and Ana a warm hug, and a kiss on our heads, after being let go I said “ hello Aunt Tayla,” with a smile on my face, Ana asked her” Mom where is Dad, Big sis, and Troy at?”

Hearing this she just smiled and said,“your father is in a meeting, your big sister is training, and your baby brother is sleeping.”

She continued saying,” don't worry about them, we need to go to the royal academy so we can test your compatibility, go with Gerald, he will take you to the carriage, wait for me there.”

After saying this she left the room, than a butler with a very calm expression came in and said,” my lady, sir Weylan, please follow me.”

Leaving the room me and Ana follow him for a few minutes, until we reached a carriage outside, that looked very expensive, and had the Royal symbol on it, a golden flame.

It was being pulled by two magical beasts they were called crysella horses, instead of a layer of fur it was made out of dense crystals, they were taller and leaner than normal horses, and had a spike on top of their heads

The reason why Ana's flame on her outfits are black, is because she requested her clothes to be made this way, for obvious reasons.

Getting into the carriage we waited for little awhile until Aunt Tayla came and got in the carriage and said,” Gerald take us too the academy.”

Gerald hearing this started driving us to the academy, on the way I saw just how amazing this city is, even though in the last world I was in, they had tall buildings and cars that could fly through the sky, it didn't appeal to me very much, in this world we use mage force and QI and It makes things much simpler.

For instance, we are in a carriage, and it can't fly through the sky, and go extremely fast, but as long as the beasts have energy, they can go on forever.

It's also more durable than even military vehicles over there, and thanks to formations we can even transfer our bodies very far away, they still haven't accomplished this with their science.

Mage force isn't as important on that planet, very rarely do you find someone that actually has it, and they never have enough to use it, other than the most simple of things.

In other terms, in science and engineering they are more advanced than us, but when it comes to strength and capability, they don't even come close.

The people their didn't cultivate the way we do, it was more of a way to stay healthy, very few people could actually become strong on that planet.

Looking out the carriage windows I see a city bathed in bright light, the city seems to glow, there are little children walking down the streets holding their mothers hand, merchants trying to sell things.

It took us 30 minutes to get to the academy, when we got there I was amazed by the building it was massive and was made out of black stones that seemed to glow.

Getting out of the carriage, Ana immediately took my hand and we followed her mother walking into the building, once we got in there we saw a large amount of children in a large very big room there were three teachers standing on top of a small stage, one was a women and the other two were men.

They all had on a white robe, with a golden flame etched onto it, everyone stopped what they were doing and everything went silent, than all the commoners and most of the nobles got on one knee, the teachers gave a bow and said,”Queen Tayla, your majesty.”

Seeing this Aunt Tayla smiled and said,” raise your heads, we are here because of our children, not because of me.”

After hearing her everyone stood back up smiled and said,” thank you, your majesty,” everyone knelt except for the teachers and four people.

Of the four two gave a bow of respect like the teachers, one was a little girl with a pink dress she has

dark blue hair, down to her waist, at the bottom of her hair it is blood red, just his mothers, she has a braid that connects into a pony tail, she has black eyes, this is my cousin Julia, she's adorable and like a sister to me.

The man next to her is her father, my Uncle Fang, he has brown hair like my fathers, down to his shoulders and like me, he has a red strand of blood colored hair, he is big with large muscles and a scar down his arm, a cold face and black eyes like his daughter.

After seeing us come in they first gave a bow of respect than walked over with a smile, even Uncle fang who is usually very cold, had a smile on his face, Julian immediately gave me and Ana a hug saying,” hello brother Wey, hi sister Elli,” with a cute grin on her face.

I gave her a pat on her head saying, “ hello Julia it's nice to see you again,” in a warm voice.

Ana returned the hug saying,” Julia it's been awhile, I've missed you,” in a warm tone.

Julia hearing this just gave a cute chuckle, Uncle Fang came over and gave me and Ana a pat on the head and gave Aunt Tayla a small hug before saying,” it's good to see you guys” with a small smile on his face.

We all just gave the same response,” Likewise” Uncle Fang isn't much of a talker, and prefers getting straight to the point.

The other two that didn't kneel had blond hair with extravagant robes on, both had a symbol of a blade stitched onto their chest.

The younger had brown eyes, with sharp eyebrows small face pale skin, and a very arrogant aura surrounding him.

The older man had blue eyes, small eyebrows, and tan skin, he also had a very arrogant aura around him.

Noticing my gaze the boy openly sneered at me, until he saw me and Ana holding hands than a hint of anger flashed in his eyes.

He looked at his father and said something, than pointed at me and once he saw what his son was pointing at, his eyes went cold and started walking over to us, his son following.

At this time the teachers told everyone to get in a line, all the children did this except for me Ana, Julia, and the blond hair boy making his way over to us.

Seeing them come over, Ana held my hand even harder Julia stood next to her father confused, Uncle Fang let out a snort of disdain, and Aunt Tayla's normally gentle expression turned serious, before making an annoyed hmm sound.

I didn't know why everyone was acting like this, I was just as confused as Julia, I very rarely left my house, and land so I don't know anyone other than my family, Ana, and her family.

Once they got over here the father looked at Aunt Tayla and said,” hello Tayla, been awhile hasn't it, I see your here to get Ellia tested.”

The Queen looked at him and said in a cold tone,” That's Queen Tayla, to you Richard.”

Hearing this he looked angry, and looked around him to see everyone looking at him, and said “ your right,...... Queen Tayla.” in a cold tone.

The son wasn't even paying attention just looking at mine and Ana's hands, before looking at her and saying,” what are you doing holding hands with this dog, your my fiancee, and future wife Ellia, let go of this trash and come with me.” He said in a very arrogant, and commanding tone.

Once I heard this I had become enraged, and was about to say something until Ana cut in, and the air dropped a few degrees while saying in a cold, and disgusted voice.

”Oliver, I am not your fiancee, nor will I ever be your wife, I would rather die a thousand deaths than to be touched by your filthy hands.”

Once everyone heard this they were shocked, including her mother Uncle Fang tried not too laugh, Julia let out a small giggle before stopping, and the father and son's faces went red and looked furious.

Oliver started saying,” What did you say?! Who gave you permission to talk back to me you bi,” before he could even finish he was on the ground with my foot on his neck.

Everyone let out small gasps, and were shocked at what had happened, Aunt Tayla was nervous, Uncle Fang was smiling, and Julia was grinning, Ana just looked like she was expecting it, with a small smile on her face, and one of the teachers muttered, “ I didn't see him move? In a shocked voice.

Before he could say anything, I picked him up by his throat and said in a cold and detached voice,”don't ever talk to her that way again, If you even touch her, I will rip out your heart where you stand and you wouldn't even know you were dead, do you understand me?” While Glaring at him with killing intent.

The father seeing this had a murderous look in his eyes, and said” boy, I don't care who you are put my son down and get on your knees and beg, and I might let you live, dog.”

He said in a commanding and cold tone, I looked at him smiled and said,”sure” than threw the boy at his feet while was gasping for air.

Once Oliver got his breath back, he looked at his father and yelled,” kill him dad, that trash put his hands on me and is trying to steal my wife,” with hatred in his voice.

Hearing this the father looked at me with a murderous look in his eyes, and as he was about to do something, a commanding tone came out of both my Uncle Fang and Aunt Tayla saying,” don't you dare touch him,” with a cold tone.

Hearing this he was infuriated and said looking at Aunt Tayla,” your going to stop me after this dog put his hands on my son? Do you want to cause problems between our families?”

Not Waiting for anyone, Uncle Fang pulled out a giant black sword out of space saying,” I'll give you one warning, you touch him, you die”

Richard hearing this was startled, thinking to himself,” who is this boy that the Queen is personally defending even willing to cause problems between our families for, she has even agreed to let him marry her daughter, and the biggest surprise is this man, Fang Azura, even he is going out of his way to defend the boy, who is he.”

After he backed off I went back and stood next to Ana, she took my hand and whispered,” are you okay?” in a soft tone. I just gave her little mmhm so she could her.

Everything was still silent, until Aunt Tayla broke it by saying, “Richard this is the royal academy, not the blades academy, you will do well to remember that.”

She said in a harsh tone, Richards face went red and was about to say something, but Aunt Tayla cut him off by saying,” Richard you asked if I was willing to create problems between us, I only have one answer, yes.”

Everyone hearing this was shocked, she is willing to cause animosity between their families for this boy? Who is he, everyone was wondering this.

Not giving someone a chance to speak she said,” there are two reasons why I will side with him, number one, he is someday going to be my son, and what mother would back down in front of someone trying to hurt him.”

Taking a minute for everyone to understand this, Richard and Oliver just looked like they were about to explode, she continued by saying in a very cold tone,” reason number two, if his parents found out you hard hurt him, your entire clan, down to the last child would be destroyed,” she said while looking straight at him.

Everyone including the father and son were flabbergasted, an entire clan wiped out? And it's one of the three most powerful in this country, everyone stood there in a daze, wondering who is child's parents.

Oliver hearing this, let out an arrogant laugh, and said in disdain,” who would dare touch my Blades clan, my clan would cut off their head and hang them by their feet in front of my clan.”

Me Aunt Tayla, Ana, Uncle Fang, and Julia had a cold look on our faces Uncle Fang even let out some killing intent.

Feeling the killing intent directed at him, Oliver started shaking, and had a look of terror In his eyes, Richard seeing this was immediately let out his own aura, the air started to shake and had static in the air.

The Queen not wanting things to get worse told them both,” stop this now, this isn't the time or place.”

Hearing this they both slowly let their aura fade, then Aunt Tayla looked right at Richard with a sly grin on her face saying,” I guess you want to know who he is don't you.”

Richard hearing this looked right at her, she said in a serious tone,” you see Richard, you just made an enemy out of someone you can never hope to compare to, not even the empire can compare to them.”

Everyone was dumbstruck when they heard this, can't even compare to the Snow Empire, what kind of person can do that.

Richard and his son Oliver started to go pale, and Oliver looked terrified, before he could even say something, Aunt Tayla announced in a loud voice for everyone to here.

“this child is my future son in law, husband to be for Ellia Snow the second princess of the Snow Empire, and son to Laylen Azura and Meira Azura! Scion to the Soul Severing Sect.”

Once everyone heard this, they immediately looked at the boy, some with fear, others respect, but all of them understood, not to get on this boys bad side.

Richard and Oliver Blade hearing this visibly paled and both shut up, looking at the boy with regret on written on their faces, of course Oliver still not willing to accept what had happened, had a look of hatred in his eyes while glaring at Weylan.

His father grabbed his hand and walked away as far as possible, and stood by themselves.

Seeing this Aunt Tayla and Ana, both giggled, and said “thank you, little Wey, Light,” at the same time.

Aunt Tayla than said, “that family is always causing problems for us, they are an arrogant group who think themselves above everyone else, unless in front of the Emperor they treat even those of the Royal Family, as if it belongs to them.

Once everything calmed down, the teachers started calling testing the students, there are three stones that test different things.

The green one tests Mana Force compatibility, The black one tests warrior or Qi compatibility and the red one tells you what elements the heavens have gifted you.

This went on for an hour, of the 700 children here, only 200 have managed to pass the tests, the ones that didn't either didn't have enough mana force, or Qi compatibility to be accepted.

Of the 700 three stood out the most, one was a short girl with brown hair that was done in a ponytail on the side, she tested for Warrior Intermediate Compatibility, Mana force intermediate Compatibility, her element was wind.

This is considered very good, once she heard this she was smiling and went to her parents, who gave her a hug while crying.

The next was a tall boy for our age, he had blue hair and looked very cold, when he put his hand on the black stone everyone was in an uproar he had Elite compatibility for warrior, and intermediate for mana force, his element was ice.

The third was Oliver Blade, and everyone was dumbstruck he had Elite compatibility for both Qi and mana force, he had duel element's in fire and ice, just like the ancestor to the empire.

Once everyone heard this, there were whispers everywhere.

Teachers,” my goodness a genius has shown up at our school, not since the first princess did we have such a talent.”

Crowd,” what is that, this is so unfair, not only is he a noble, he even has such a high compatibility, and duel elements! Lord what is this.”

Hearing everyone speak, he looked at me and sneered, I glanced at him looking as if I was looking at trash, this made him enraged, and walked back to his dad who had an arrogant grin on his face.

Uncle Fang seeing this said,” in all honestly these compatibility tests are only to show how well you will be able to train, even if you have a weak compatibility you can still cultivate, it would only require so much work that most don't even bother, it's the reason why this school only excepts compatibility of moderate and above.

Hearing this I nodded makes sense I thought to myself, the compatibility ranking goes from Weak> Normal> Moderate> Intermediate> Elite, that's as far as I know about the tests.

Next up is Julia, seeing her nervous I pat her head and say, “ it will be okay, no matter what happens your family will be here for you,” I said in gentle tone.

Hearing this she smiled and said, “ thank you, brother Wey,” walking by Ana, Ana gave her a pat on the back saying, “good luck,” with a warm tone.

Once she put her hand on the mana force stone everyone was quiet, It was Elite compatibility but it shined brighter than even Oliver's.

She put her hand on the Warrior stone, it wasn't as impressive only intermediate, but putting her on hand on the element everyone was in a daze, she also had duel elements, and it was in water, and the extremely rare, light element.

Seeing this everyone including me was dumbstruck, Light element? It has the best healing properties and fastest conjuring speed.

Seeing this she came back and jumped into her fathers arm's saying,” aren't I awesome daddy, duel element and one is light just like mama's”

Hearing this he just gave her a kiss on the cheek saying, “your awesome regardless angel.”

Me Ana, and Aunt Tayla, each gave her a hug and congratulated her.

After this I looked at Ana and said,” Ana you go next, I'll go last I want to every ones expression, when they see what your compatibility will be,” I said with a wry grin.

Hearing this she chuckled cutely while looking at me saying,” hehe okay Light, but don't be too surprised okay?”

Walking up to the Mana force stone, just as she put her hand on it, it flashed so brightly it blinded everyone than one of the teachers yelled.

“WHAT THE HELL?!”
