Chapter 4: Attack of a Lewd Titan
"Soula what the hell did you do to our bodies!"
After calming down Aurum and Labbu, which took a while, they started discussing several possibilities. What they didn't know was how unique Soula's soul is. His soul had once survived a memory wipe, as well as train for millenniums nurturing his soul. Although he never actively trained his soul during his second life, it seemed to grow on its own even without the bonuses from the beast souls.
"Well whatever, it's not like it matters too much."
"Easy for you to say. You're not the one who has to undergo such humiliation."
As they continued talking, they noticed a large amount of smoke coming from the village.
"What the heck is going on?"
As Soula wondered, Ruka came at that moment. It looked like she was running for quite a while, cause she was out of breath and was breathing heavily.
"Soula, the village is under attack. It's the [H] Clan. They're attacking with a small army consisting of 4-6 ranked warriors. There's also a supposed 9th rank warrior."
This was bad. The strongest people in the village were the students that went to Sekaikoa Academy and their parents. As a side note, Soula's father and the triplet's parents are all 8th rank warriors while Soula's mother is a 7th rank Mage and his grandmother a 8th rank Mage.
"What about the church Paladins? Didn't they send some when they built the church?"
When Soula returned home 5 years ago, the Nacil Church came and discussed several business deals. One of Soula's requests was to create a branch church to improve the village's economy. A church has many healers and Paladins, and they also take in orphans as well as give basic education. That was one of the main reasons Soula asked for the construction of a church.
The church has long ago sent an army of 8 priests and 15 paladins. Most were just a bit stronger than the town guards, but they should've been able to at least hold off most of the attackers.
"I dunno, last I heard was they went into the forest to train. It's possible they might've been ambushed."
"Let's stop talking for now. We gotta help the others." As he said that, the two of them ran forward. Alongside Soula were his still summoned beast soul companions.
"Oh yeah Soula, this is the perfect time to teach you the [Oversoul] skills. You still have my corpse right. So I want you to do me a favor."
As the little gold dragon whispered into Soula's ear, he began to form a plan…

"HAHAHAHA, men gather up the women and kill the men. Keep some of the elven women for me. GWAHAHA!" The vulgar man who screamed out the following order was Lew D' [H]. He was infamous has one of the most powerful bandits who was part of the inner members of the [H] Clan. Because of his infamy, he received the nickname "Lewd the [H]entai" which turned into a title.
Speaking of which, the title was boldly floating above his head. Since the update, people could now equip titles for various effects. Right now, he is leading his personal army to capture more slaves for him. As he is a powerful figure in the clan, the [H] clan mostly ignore his actions as long as it doesn't harm the overall clan's reputation.
And that is why he is currently attacking another village like always.
"Oh, look at that pretty woman over there." He was currently watching a women with amethyst hair and a fair body wielding powerful magic. Next to her was a blond man wielding a variety of weapons he picked up from his slain victims.
That's right, he was currently looking at Soula's parents.
“Dai, where are the kids?” shouted Lelia as she obliterated another group of attackers. Behind her was another one of the invaders sneaking on her.
"I dunno, last I saw was Runa and Rudy going out with their parents. Soula is at the core area of Salty Lake Forest and I have no idea about Ruka." Turning around, he throws his sword at the sneaking attacker behind Lelia. Falling down, the attacker was helpless as Dai picks up his spear and stabs his heart.
"Hmm, it looks like those two are too much for my men. I'll just go take a look, and maybe I might take that woman for myself too." Moving towards them, he was about to speak when he heard a deafening roar.
Turning around, he paled as he saw a giant azure dragon appear with a rider on top. As the azure dragon appeared, suddenly two more dragons appeared. The rider of the azure dragon seemed to be covered in a metallic crocodile skin. With his sight, Lewd the [H]entai looked at the top of their heads and used [Identify].

Seeing the terrifying numbers scared him. Although he was a 9th rank warrior, his level was only at the late 600's making the monsters before him his worst nightmare.
As the rest of the attackers noticed them, most started to run in fear of death, but the surrounding villagers started to fight them again.
SHIT! Why the hell are 9th Gate monsters at a backwater village like this?

Soula was flying over the village on the azure dragon, which he named Azula from a certain character in his past life. "She even acts the same, except she's not psyco… yet."
Some might wonder how Soula is coming to the rescue with the help of three dragons. That is because of a skill of [Oversoul]. [Oversoul] allows an absorbed spirit to be infused into items such as the wielder's weapon to increase attack. In this case, Soula infused their souls into the bodies he kept in his inventory.
Also, he even infused Labbu into his clothes, turning them into a powerful armour.
Making a decision to fight the leader, Soula finally invested most of his points into VIT, making his health multiply by around 8, leaving some to put into STR and AGI.

Also he invested most of the points he had to max out his skills. He had just enough to max out almost all of his skills. Now his battle potential which he made sure to hold back was finally unleashed. Before today, his battle potential was equal to his friends and parents because of his skills, even if his stats were a bit lacking due to not investing any of his points. Now that he finally unleashed his full battle potential, he might even have enough strength to fight a saint.
Of course, his opponent might still be able to defeat him. Since everyone never spent their skill points, it's possible people might also master their weapon masteries. In fact, the triplets did max them out but still lost to Soula only because they didn't have as much battle experience compared to Soula.
"Oi Ignis, I'll send you some memories to use a few skills good for you. Just wait a second."
As he had [Memory Inventory] mastered, he now had the power to send memories to others upon physical contact. Soula used his [Black Amethyst Hair] to lengthen his hair and send the memories to Ignis.
"I wonder what kind of skills I'll… WTF I'M A MIGHTY DRAGON, NOT A FRIGGIN POKEMON!!!"
"What? You don't like the skills, then how about these." Sending another patch of memories, the fire dragon bellowed, "JUST BECAUSE THE SKILLS ARE FROM DIGIMON NOW, DOESN'T MEAN I'LL LIKE IT!"
"AW COME ON! Why don't you use them, I mean, they're pretty awesome."
"Fine."
"Alright! Ignis, use [Dragonbreath]."
"DON'T PUSH IT!"
Absorbing mana into his lungs, Ignis unleashed a powerful breath using the burst potential of his to the max. Destroying most of the attackers (and unfortunately a few buildings as well), a majority of the attackers were instantly dead.
"Aurum, use [Heal Pulse] on the villagers."
"Roger that Boss." Sending a wave of light, the villagers watched as their health miraculously filled to full.
"Azula, use [Azure Dragon East Spring Domain] and bring everyone into the skies. Ignis, use [Gaia Force]."

A powerful mental pressure filled the air, trapping everyone inside it. Those too weak to handle the pressure instantly fainted, and all of the attackers started flying into the air. Those still conscious tried to escape. Some fled into still standing huts, but the powerful force dragged them out of their sanctuaries. Floating in the sky, the attackers all felt a powerful sense of dread pressing upon them from all sides. Earth started to cover their skins making them turn into statues. As if it wasn't bad enough, the red dragon started to gather fire, earth, and destruction qi into his hands. Bringing them together, he formed a giant sphere of destruction.

Upon shouting out the skill, Ignis threw the sphere at the collected attackers in the air. With no escape, all they could do was watch as their doom descended upon them.
Down below was Lewd the [H]entai, who wasn't among the others mainly because he dug into the ground to hide.
"FUCK! Why are there so many powerful beings here? I can probably take a dragon or two, but I definitely can't fight against this village of monsters alone."
Seeing no other option, he started using his earth qi to dig through the earth. Sensing him flee underground, Soula jumped down from Azula.
[Body Maneuvering Technique: Falling Leaf]
Falling down gently like a leaf, he landed softly on the ground. Bringing his hands forward, he created an [Energy Blade] made of earth qi and struck the ground. Instead of breaking the ground, Soula sent a unique force that chased after Lew causing him to fly out of the ground.
Landing on the ground, Lew looked unharmed and both stated at each other.
"Lew, it seems that your hobby annoys me and my village. Thus, I have no choice but to punish you for the damage caused to the village." Obviously Soula already knew who Lew was. Once, Soula gathered all information on bandits that focused on remote villages to see if his area was safe from any strong invaders.
Several people have died during the attack, but luckily no one was captured as all of the attackers were rounded up. However, the loss of life will greatly affect a small village.
"Hmph, well it seems like I'm cornered, but I won't go down without a fight. System Request Duel with Soula."

A duel was perfect as the system ensured that no outside forces can attack. A barrier would form around a designated area so that no one can interfere.

Bringing up his energy blade, Soula charged forward without any hesitation. With his defense of 8000 plus the 6000 from Labbu's O.S. effect, Soula could ignore most attacks.
However, Lew had his own countermeasures against those with a large defense. Bringing out his weapon from his inventory, a large mace, he swung it directly at Soula with an incredible speed.
Shocked at how fast he was moving, Soula was unable to dodge as the attack hit him directly on his arm. CLANG! A loud resonating sound was created as a unique vibration force entered Soula's body and attacked his internal organs.

Losing about 1% of his health, Soula was surprised that he had such a deep understanding on vibrational attacks. To deal so much damage to him shocked him as he didn't expect much from a 6th Gate warrior.
"God dammit, I forgot that [Godslayer] isn't active." As most of the time Soula fought stronger enemies, he barely fought anyone at the same level as him. Thus, this was one of the few times where he will fight with only his skills.
When he fought his parents, [Godslayer] had been active and against the triplets he barely fought that long so he didn't think much of it. Now he realized the mistake me made, and just in time as Lew choose to swing at his head next.
At that time, what Lew thought was, "Goddamit, his defense is too powerful. I need to hit his head so his brain will take some damage."
Activating [Petrification] Lew's arm started to become rigid as earthen layers started forming on his arm, making his swing slow down. Dodging, Soula jumped to the left and activated two skills.

By stimulating the energies in his body, his regeneration speed increased until his health was full again. While he was healing, Soula didn't just stand by, instead choosing to attack. Activating [Qi Armour] and using [Black Amethyst Hair] his hair wrapped around Lew's limbs while a reddish aura surrounded Soula forming a sort of energy armour.
Lew had his limbs bound, but he used that to his advantage. Pulling his hair, Soula started flying to him while he swung at him. Soula just cut his hair instead and jumped on Lew's club. Swinging his blade, he slashed at Lew's hand.

With a very small amount of damage, Lew's skin wasn't even scratched. The reason that Soula didn't damage him much was that for his level, his attack was quite low. As for Lew, he distributed his stats evenly between STR and VIT so his defense is at the least around 3500. The only reason Soula can damage him is because of his [Energy Blade] infused with most of his qi and his passive skills increasing damage.
"WAHAHA, so you have an incredible defense but low attack. What did you do, put all your stat points into VIT or something?" Hearing his opponent mock him, and having actually guessing correctly, angered Soula. Luckily his [Calm Mind] skill kicked in and forcefully quell his anger.
Charging in, Soula infused mana into the [Energy Blade] and activated the spell [Gravity Control]. With the sword becoming the center of gravity, Lew's body suddenly flew towards Soula's sword. Seeing as he couldn't escape, Lew activated one of his unique skills [Titan Shift].
A large amount of earth elemental essence surrounded Lew's body, sticking to his skin. Increasing in size, a giant earthen titan was formed.

Lew was free of the gravity spell and started to smash Soula with his foot.
"Oh yeah, I guess I'll also transform." Activating [Dragon Shift] Soula turned into his true form.
Since defeating the three dragons, Soula now has three forms. His base form, the relatively humanoid one. His Draconian form, a humanoid dragon form. And his True Form, a mighty dragon with black/purple scales.

Seeing two colossal monsters appear, the nearby villagers all started to flee from the upcoming battle.

"Honey, I never knew Soula could turn into a dragon. Did you teach him that?"
"Although I can turn into a draconian, I can't turn into a giant dragon like Soula."
His parents were idly chatting nearby while watching the battle. Near them were the [G] family who met up with them earlier.
"Seriously Soula, were you really holding back that much when you fought with us."
"The nerve that guy has, always toying with us when we attack him. And now we find out he can turn into a friggin dragon!"
"The more I look at the difference between us, the more depressed I feel."
The triplets were all conversing with each other about their opinion on their strange friend. All of them 15 years old, their physiques were miles apart compared to five years ago.
Rudy, toned down by his training as a warrior, had an amazing figure. His playboy attitude had made it so that he never stopped training in fear of losing his fabulous body (although he stopped courting other girls as he started to worship his goddess Kaito Amethyst). Next to him was his energetic sister Ruka. As an agility build, she was very slim but had the body of an athlete. Her slim body and long hair made her quite a beauty. Her sister Runa, who barely looked different from her, had a gentle aura that was more mature in contrast to Ruka's childish antics.
By the way, for some reason, Soula seemed to have stopped growing after leaving the academy, so his body was still that of a 10 year old.
A giant vs a dragon. Soula was flying in the sky trying to intimidate the opponent with his roars. Lew had his mace, now enlarged, in his hands swinging at the flying dragon.

From his mouth, Soula fired a large amount of fire arrows towards Lew.
[Energy Fist]
An illusionary fist fired from Lew's palms, hitting the arrows causing both attacks to fail. Continuing this cycle for a while, both knew that it was a matter of who tired out first. With Soula's mana and regen, he wasn't worried but Lew was more aware at how much qi and mana he was spending.
[Gravity Burden]
Using a spell on Soula, the large dragon was pushed down to the ground. Taking the chance, Lew raised his mace and started to repeatedly hit Soula, infusing his attacks with his vibrational attack.
[Echo of Inward Vibration]
With each successful hit, Soula received a powerful attack that damaged his internal organs.

Slowly accumulating damage, Soula removed the spell and attacked again with his magic. His physical attacks may be negligible, but his spell damage packs quite a punch. Firing a larger than normal [Spiral Arrow] at close range, Lew couldn't dodge in time.

Taking quite some damage in that attack, Soula quickly checked how much health Lew had left.

Shocked at how much one arrow damaged him, he felt quite a bit of fear. His only salvation was that he thought that Soula used a powerful skill that drained him greatly. Oh how wrong he was.
Firing the same skill again, Lew instantly lost all of his health and died.
