Honor World Stories
Jade
This story follows Jade, the young 6-year-old you first met in Dishonor. At the start of the story, she is now 15. This would be the next book in the "In Search of Honor" series and would lead toward more Honor books.
Synopsis:
The people of the village call Jade a cursed child. If you take her in, you are cursed to die. In a culture where every child that survives is precious, the village cares for Jade together, but she lives alone so her curse won't hurt them. Like a pig raised in a pen for slaughter, she is being fed and trained to be sold off to another village, her skills in return for material goods and seeds her village needs.
Jade has other ideas though. A confusing mix of wanting to just run away from everything and travel the road, a desire to murder any bandits she can find in revenge for her original parents she can't even remember, and a desire to find the woman she lived with for two years, Liv. Felise, a brother-like figure for her, told her that Liv came with them and disappeared right before reaching the village.
All of these desires do agree on one thing, staying to be sold like she is some woven blanket is not what she will be doing. As she heads off to find a place in the world, Felise joins her because he's bored and he feels sort of responsible for running off. Together the two will traverse the wide world fighting bandits, joining mercenaries, and tracking rumors of a strange woman and her partner she calls a husband.
The Land They Called Fantasia
You can read the start of this story here https://www.wattpad.com/story/27282496-fantasia if you want to see what it's about. This story is an adventure story through the world that Liv's City is located in following a new character named Maria. The final story of Dishonor needs at least Jade's story completed before I can start on it, but Maria's story is also tangentially important to the final story.
Synopsis:
Maria grew up outside the border of Fantasia. The country they call Fantasia was said to be a fantastical country filled with wild inventions and even dragons. It was a land of freedom where daughters weren't chained to their families and traditions. But it was beyond a giant ancient wall manned by an army of robots with machine guns.
Maria's mother was from that land, and she'd passed Maria the badge that allowed people to cross that desolate no man's land. To escape her father's clutches, Maria leaves on the back of a horse in the middle of the night and flees for the nearest border crossing. She wants a life beyond the reach of her father's power and she hopes to find her mother's family. Maybe they can tell her why her mother went south and ended up living and dying a miserable life.
But what Maria finds in the strange land beyond the wall isn't what she always hoped for and dreamed of. It's a rough land where people struggle to survive, and dragons do terrorize the travelers in their mountains. Bandits roam and murder. Robots continue daily routines serving the dead in an empty city. A city ruled by one immortal woman for generations continues to languish without change. It's a much bigger and more lawless place than she realized, and finding one's blood might just be an impossible task.
Waking World
Short story I wrote for Royal Road June 2022 magazine contest. If you want more of this, vote for it. I have some ideas on where I could take the story, but it would be sort of a slice-of-life story exploring the world at that point in time, and I have no idea how long it would end up being. Probably not that long. If you are curious about what it is, you can find it on my profile here on Royal Road.
Ghoster World Story:
Artificial Home
This story is planned as a 50,000 to 70,000-word novella. It follows two teenagers with deadbeat parents living off the government's kindness (or lack thereof) in the setting of the short story collection "Ghoster" which you can find here on Royal Road.
Synopsis:
Kassy goes to school via the automated busses every day. The government pays for her augmentation tech which isn't advanced enough to just attend virtual school. After another boring day in class that she's attempted to read though, something taps her shoulder, but no one is there. She switches to partial reality and sees a ghoster boy she hasn't seen before. Turns out, he's her neighbor, and he's just really lonely living like a ghost. The day gets weirder though when the augmentation stops working, the buses aren't running, and he's the only one who knows how to get home.

In the Absence of Light
An old first draft of this story can be read here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/907081-in-the-absence-of-light. I promise nothing on the quality of the original as this story was originally written ten years ago. Working on this project would entail partially rewriting/and many edits to the original chapters and then continuing and finishing this story. Below is the original synopsis because I'm lazy and don't feel like writing a new one right now.
Synopsis:
I laugh at you pitiful humans who scurry about this Earth without a purpose seeking only life, but finding only death. I welcome death. I know what is coming, and the Goddess of Darkness will welcome me into her kingdom when I die. For now, I serve her purpose. I fight wars in her name and serve as her avatar when needed. When she first came to me, she burned the love out of my heart. Now I find only humor in silly human affections. Love. It's such a short and despicable word.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Maybe I could just enjoy fighting until I died, if it wasn't for the city. My city. My own corrupted city that cast me out for saving one of the city's own. The city I spit upon for its treatment of the gods and goddesses' chosen people. I swear that one day, I will come back. Something must be done, and maybe, just maybe, the Goddess of the Absence of Light might choose me as her instrument of salvation, or destruction.
Whisper A Wish, My Hawk
This story is really old. Writing on it would be a rewrite I think. Here is the link if you want to read the original version to help your decision: https://www.wattpad.com/2829599-whisper-a-wish-my-hawk (I promise nothing on quality as this was written twelve years ago and I've taken a lot of classes on writing since then.)
Synopsis:
Amanda is a Hawk supporter who takes care of the great Hawks the knights ride. She dreams of one day having her own Hawk and being something more than a servant, but the world is not that lucky a place for orphans dumped on the doorsteps of Hawkage. Amanda toils through her dreary days until one day a voice in her head calls her to a forbidden tower where she finds a Hawk who can talk to her through her thoughts. Together they flee into the night, running from the woman who locked her Hawk up in the first place.
In the place where the Hawk takes her, Amanda finds a woman her age who talks of events 500 years ago as if they happened to her. She speaks of magic and powers hidden away from the world. She says there is an ancient war against the woman who was holding Amanda's Hawk hostage. And they only have a year to win the war before either Amanda or her have to die.
The Will of Power
This is a story idea about people who gain power by accessing the memory/abilities and knowledge of those who have died. Fantasy land, child accesses memories of fighting/and is a really strong fighter because of it, but is also hunted for her powers. Story starts when Mava is twelve, but the story will have a time skip. For the main story, Mava will be about 19. I have an intro chapter, but reading over it, it was pretty poorly written so would need to be rewritten/edited. If you want more information on this project, feel free to ask in the comments. If you all are really interested and ask for it, I can edit up that intro chapter and post it for you to read. With some heavy editing its a decent read.
Synopsis:
Mava is a the daughter of a scholar who works for a nobleman. Her mother was a woman who washed up on a nearby beach after a storm. Her father called her mother an angel, and the local villages had rumors of her calling fire to destroy raider ships and burning up with the ships.
When Mava is twelve, her papa tells her that people will want her for her power. He dresses her as a boy, calls her Mav, and tells her sister to take her and flee to the ocean. On the way to the ocean, they run into attackers searching for them, and Mava awakens her powers. She taps into the memories of the dead that live in the land, and fights off the attackers with skills that don't belong to her. With a small group of friends, Mava leaves the home she's always known. Is there anywhere on her side of the ocean where her sister and her can settle peacefully, or will they have to fight to make a home for themselves?
Anehalia
This is the story idea that I made my pen named based off of. I had the idea for this story back in 2007, but I've never liked any iteration of it that's I've actually written down, so I've scrapped the past versions and continued to allow myself and my writing to mature. Last attempt at this story was in 2014, so maybe this attempt would go over better.
Synopsis:
In a world where elementals and humans interbred, a number of children have the powers of their elemental lineage. Ane was born to a Waterfall mother and Wild Fire father, both of them direct children of their respective elemental. Her parents were border guards, and a raid on their hometown killed them both. Before her mother died though, she sealed Ane's true power with a part of her soul, leaving her the name "Anecara" and pure water blue eyes to fool those afraid of Wild Fires.
The young Anecara was found by the country's reinforcement unit, and taken to the capital where a conclave of elemental blood soldiers lived. At first she was treated like the Tame Fire she looked like, but as she grew, her fire storm tantrums grew as well. Soon she was locked up as a Wild Fire, only released to unleash devastation on enemy forces.
When Soul Sickness, a magical disease created and released by the neighboring country, ripped through the community it infected the only person who she even cared about, the man who was her only friend, her husband who lived in confinement with her and had been working on securing freedom for her to become a border guard like her father. It didn't take long for her to also be infected, and she used every waking moment she had to search archives she hated for a cure. In those musty old books she found mentions of Soul Bonds that mystical creatures like dragons or unicorns could form.
With that information, she headed off on a journey for the last known location of the dragons. Did the dragons have the knowledge to save her and her husband before they both succumb to the Soul Sickness?
Shadow's Truth (or "She Kissed Him and She Killed Him", not quite certain on this one's title yet)
Do you like unreliable narrators? Do you want a story where the truth is never the truth and reality is warping even as you read? This story starts out as a simple story about and assassin in fantasy world who breaks a rule in self defense and then wants to clear her name. If Fantasy, Action, Adventure, and the rules of reality warping are stories you enjoy, than vote for this one today! (I have nothing written on this story, other than the original story idea. It's one that's live in my mind for a long time.)
Synopsis:
Assassins in the country of Kahool live by a rule that they will never take a job to kill another assassin. If an assassin ever breaks that rule, their life is forfeit and every other assassin can kill them. The day Shadow's boyfriend comes home from a job and tries to kill her, Shadow kills him instead. But no one will believe her that he had taken a writ to kill her, and she finds herself being hunted by the other assassins in her country.
As she desperately struggles to stay alive, hiding in the shadows that have always welcomed her, she searches for evidence to clear her name. What she finds instead though is that there is a lot more to the past then what she knows, and deep in the shadows the secrets she's hidden even from herself might be more tangled than she is ready to deal with. When wishes and desires twist reality, what can she really trust? What future is there for an assassin who's already dead?
I Just Want To Go Home: An Isekai litrpg something or another I don't understand all these designations
This is my isekai story idea. Since reading lots of isekai and litrpg stories on Royal Road and other places, I started thinking about what if you didn't want to be isekai'd? What if you had a great life on Earth, were happy, loved your family, but truck-kun came anyway.
Synopsis:
Ava had a decent life. Not some fancy glorious Hollywood life or other celebrity rich person life, but she had a steady and happy life. She lived close to her parents who she loved, and had a good kind husband. She had a stable job and made enough to be happy.
But that all vanished one day when truck-kun isekai'd her into a fantasy world. Life is hard living in a fantasy world, and all she wants is to go home. She wants her kind husband and his shoulder to lean on it. She wants her computer back. She wants modern convenience and transportation. But as far as she can tell, she seems to be stuck in this difficult to live in world. That is, unless she can find the rumored carriage-kun and bargain with it to get sent back to her old life.
