“Woaah…” Rex was breathless full of astonishment as he remembered what the system assistant told him when it comes to the rewards given by the system they will never disappoint and they are usually given due to his needs.

Rushing to the hungry baby dinosaurs he petted them retrieving the fruits from the dinosaur island pasture space.

Fruits appeared out of nowhere dropping to the ground.

Hearing the sound of something hitting the ground they all looked at Rex with puppy eyes while also looking at the ground as the aroma of the fruits was entering their nostrils.

Rex was perplexed not understanding what was happening and then he asked his assistant.

[The host should give them permission to eat.]

“Ohh is that so, you may eat all of it as you wish but only eat what’s yours.” Hearing those words they swarmed on the ground eating the fruit there were two of each fruit one was a carnivore only eating the blood fruit as it smelled different like meat and the other two ate their fruit which had a sweet smell.

The triceratops who hatched first swallowed down two fruits at the same time going for the other fruits that belonged to the camptosaurus.

Though before it could even put the fruit in its mouth a slap landed on its back as it received a stare from Rex who seemed unhappy.

The little round triceratops face looked funny as if asking what it did wrong.

It was a puppy stare again but Rex is someone who doesn’t like being disobeyed so his stare was filled with malicious intent but the triceratops had a face that didn’t know it did something wrong.

For a long time that stare remained finally making the triceratops retract its head looking down with a solemn face.

Seeing this Rex somewhat felt wrong but he wanted to engrave in their bones that his orders are not to be disobeyed not even for a little.

“You're forgiven this time but don’t try to eat your sibling's food again.”

The triceratops contemplated for a while before letting it go and getting close to Rex for a pat.

This action seemed that it understood and was begging for forgiveness.

“OK… come here you all.” Rex also called on the others hugging them and patting their head to praise them while telling them to be nice to each other.

It was an affectionate time for them to play around just after hatching.

These creatures were made different than their kind as they understood his words and did tricks like normal pets.

This action of theirs was due to the mutation they went through in the egg.

Both their mind and body were mutated to be different and grow faster.

“OK, ok let’s head for a tour I’ll make for you guys a place to rest in and sleep.”

After half an hour of family intimacy, Rex took them out showing them around their new home…

The next morning after feeding the three babies Rex stood on the edge of the island looking down.

The coelophysis was eating the fish Rex caught while the other two each ate one fruit.

This was their second day in the world after their birth and they already looked different.

Rex asked why that was and the answer he got was it was because of the fruit that boosts their growth.

Rex had misunderstood their meaning when he got them but now he learned their true meaning.

Boosting their growth meant when they digest the fruit they’ll grow several years in mere days that was truly an amazing thing to know especially for someone who thought science was able to increase the growth of some animals quickly.

But this fruit truly is different because one would never hear that there is a fruit that naturally increases your age and body growth in mere days.

Standing on the edge he thought of what to do as several thoughts ran through his mind.

Now that I know how I fell off on that bridge what should I do?

Complain to the authorities…

I bet it was probably them or at least someone who has the power to command a hero to do such a thing.

He was reminiscing about the day he was thrown off the bridge by two heroes who in his view were probably puppets and that is not because he always thought of them that way but because he witnessed and was told to by a trusted person.

And this made him out of ideas on what to do since knowing who tried to kill him was powerful people.

From their perspective, they did kill him.

But he survived and is now unsure of what to do.

Revenge by killing or... do it through the legal way.

He knows that he will quickly gain strength using the system and this time it’s not just an imagination of it because he saw what will make him strong and already has companions who'll do it for him.

He learned that he could borrow their strength by using one of their masteries.

When his pets are ready for battle he can forge them masteries at the forge has gained as a reward for completing a quest.

Masteries are like skills in video games they temporarily boost either your attacks or defense through the use of supernatural skills.

And as for his pets that’ll have these skills in the near future, he named them after playing with them and not knowing what to call them.

The firstborn, the triceratops is called R-1, the R standing for his name not creative enough but it still is a name and the second and third go by the same only being R-2 camptosaurus and R-3 for the coelophysis.

Now though he feels like he must first do quest missions alone until they are ready and then should he worry about his problem at home.

He retracted his gaze from below as he felt that the island was in the right place.

This dinosaur island pasture floats around slowly going in circles and right now the island was near the place where there were the dinosaur skeleton remains.

To familiarize himself with the place he named some territories and this place because the land is dry and many dinosaurs died mysteriously he named it the dry grave.

“A-T any hints on the next quest and if there is something you suggest that I should do?” He asked his somewhat trusty assistant for hints of the next quest and since he is alone here with no one to talk to she is the relief person for when he feels lonely, but then again he always felt alone so it was just an excuse to talk to someone even if they are an AI meant to assist him.

[A-T suggests the host should store his stamina and prepare food and weapon.]

Mhmm…

“That’s a lot but I guess I have no say in this might as well pick those bones that I already was gonna and take a little nap after that.”

Flashing a smile on his face he summoned the system interface penal taking out a return banner and amulets of invisibility, and with one gaze he told the babies to play near their habitats and not come near the edge.

After that Rex jumped off the island waving the banner flag.

And like he was never there falling down he disappeared reappearing in the middle of mass bones.

Thud

“Hahahahaha, I like this flag just with one wave I can do what humanity has been dreaming of for thousands of years… teleportation and no portals or any tech needed just a wave of a flag.”

Having a thrilling feeling inside him he began picking up bones while wearing pajamas torn from everywhere and it was even a mystery how it stayed together all this time…
