Rex panted feeling the heat of the sun as he went up hills and down hills.

Since his arrival in this unknown land and being told to survive without any other instructions he's been moving warily.

But after having not seen any living beings after walking for about what felt like 3 hours he just went about looking for a way out without any care of his surroundings.

He was using his shadow as a compass going to the north.

As he passed by many hills his complexion changed because the land ahead of him was turning barren and there were many skeletons of weird creatures he'd never seen before.

He came to a halt realizing something this place was not his home or to be accurate far from his home and no vehicle whether flying one or not could get him back.

Because no land in the Citedal is left untended like this... Humanity has learned the hard way wishing not to destroy their land through pollution or other means again or ever besides the continent they live on is a green land with most of it being cultivated for long use.

The ground was trembling but Rex was unaware of it lost in his thoughts.

Just what is this? These skeletons look familiar yet I cannot determine where I saw them. Think, think, think hard where was it... haha, it was on tv, in books, in magazines, in galleries, and in museums... museums yes those fakes oldies talking about the forgotten history of ancient times.

When he was little and into monsters and stuff he visited one of those museums that hold ancient relics there he saw them.

Dinosaurs extinct creatures that walked the earth long ago they say.

But I thought those fossils were fake, how come there is a real one here?

He could not believe what his eyes were seeing it was like he was in a dream.

"Hey A-T this is a dream world right... a special place for training this is what the quest is about am I right?" A light bulb appeared in his head coming to a realization asking the system assistant if his founds is correct.

But cold water was poured on him as the system's assistant responded.

[No host is in the actual world and this a place where this world's history walks.]

"So you're telling me there are live dinosaurs roaming around this land and I need to stay here for ten hours?"

[A-T cannot tell the host more... but that is a definite.]

"Thanks, A-T! And sorry about the remarks I made before I was not in the right mind."

[Host does not need to worry A-T is your assistant.]

"Yeah, I'm glad that you've got my back..." With that Rex got serious running towards the skeletons and picking some bones.

Rex tore his pajama shirt tying some rib bones to his back and held two that resembled a saber in each hand having a determined look on his face as he looked around.

"Today I will become a survivor."

From east to west, the sun stood in between but was little leaned on the east since it was noon.

And looking at his shadow he determined that the way he came from was south and where he headed was north a place he could describe as a desert because of the barren land he stood at.

But suddenly his eyes squinted seeing a cloud of dust rising.

It was from the north and the ground was trembling.

Trembling... another realization hit him the ground was trembling this whole time yet he was unaware of it and now that he saw something in the north he knew that it was coming this way which meant two of one thing a natural disaster or a horde of something and he was damned to stay here to know which it was as he started running back to where he came from.

In the far north, a large horde of Camptosaurus was headed south as the ground trembled with their stampede.

They were not the only dinosaurs heading south as amongst them were other species such as Stegosaurus and Triceratops.

It was a migration to find a new home.

But Rex was unaware of it as the only thing on his mind was to survive running faster.

2 Hours Earlier In E-City

E-City is a neighboring city to the national park and the only thing that keeps them apart is a long bridge, the bridge Rex fell from.

And in this city, there is one thing that makes it stand out more than the other cities' celebrity heroes.

With the rise of superheroes came the fame of celebrities who represented some of the heroes in movies and drama shows and as such some heroes went into the business.

Here in E-City dreams come true.

In the downtown area of the city.

An eagle man in a grey suit stood in front of a large glass looking down at the bustling city below with a wide smile on his peak-like mouth he was in a skyscraper that looked like an eagle shining brightly on the outside with the sun's reflection.

Beep Beep Beep

A boton on his desk glowed red before a hologram appeared in the form of an eagle person.

"I'm sorry to disturb you Mighty Eagore Sir but there is a problem at one of our hotels in the national park..."

Mighty Eagore's peak mouth came together his smile vanishing.

"Ahmm..." He cleared his throat telling him to continue.

"You see Mighty Eagore..." Before he could continue another "ahm" came making him realize his mistake.

"I'm sorry Sir... Mighty Eagore Sir, the guys at HQ placed someone in one of our hotels, and there with him was the red-haired lady who took down our men last week we suspect him to be a spy."

"Take care of him."

"I'm sorry Sir?" The hologram guy asked in confusion not sure of what to say hearing those words.

"I said... Take... Care... of him." Mighty Eagore repeated himself his voice a little hoarser as his eyes became bloodshot.

"Oh and do tell the boys to do it discreetly outside of our territory." Before the hologram guy disappeared he added.

"Yes Sir." The call was cut off with that confirmation.

Mighty Eagore is the kingpin of the herowood industry in E-City. When someone wants to be a star he is the one who makes it possible that's why all those who try otherwise disappear without a trace.

Huff Huff Huff

It has been 8 hours since he came to this place and the sun was gone.

Rex in the midst of battle while running for his life was distressed not liking one bit of his situation.

Chasing him were seven yellow reptile-like creatures standing on their hind legs with three sharp claws on their hands.

They were the same height as a dog and agile striking him from all sides.

Slash Slash

Blood seeped from his body as the strikes landed on him leaving long wounds.

"Haaaa..." Rex screamed jumping to his left as he struck the place he jumped from with the bones he picked up earlier.

Bam

The bone came into contact with the head of a velociraptor that aimed to bite him.

It was knocked back with that strike but didn't fall as it continued to attack with the other velociraptors.

Their attacks were coordinated 2 going from his left to right and 2 going from right to left as others chased him from the back.

Rex was looking for a hiding place when he accidentally came face to face with them which led to them chasing him.

As he was running a velociraptor suddenly leaped on his back and bit down on his shoulder.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..." Rex screamed in agony as the pain of his flesh being torn through almost made him pass out.

He instinctively grabbed the bone on his back swinging madly this scared the velociraptor letting go of his shoulder.

Like a pack of hungry wolves, they surrounded him wanting to jump on him and finish him as his blood entered their nostrils.

Incircled by vicious hunters his body was trembling and bloodied full of injuries he swung the bone to scare them off every time they got closer and the darkness was not helping at all making things worse than it is.

One of the velociraptors looked around after hearing the ground trembling like an earthquake and in its yellow vision, a huge horde was closing on them running madly towards their way.

In a panic, the velociraptors dispersed running for their life.

As for Rex, he didn't know what to say or do as he froze in there with horror written on his face he could not see them but knowing his enemy running after hearing that sound he needed no eyes to see as things were clearer.

[2 hours until the quest is completed.] Bringing him back to reality was system assistant A-T with this announcement.

Brushing off the look on his face Rex turned around resuming his run.
