Insanity II

"Sabo do you feel that?" Maro asked with a furrowed brow.

The woman had been properly bandaged and was barred from fighting for the rest of the day due to the extensive injuries her insides suffered.

Normally she'd complain, but you never complained when Demon was your doctor… and she was happy that she got her Observation Haki... and she still couldn't feel her right side currently.

But it was mostly because Demon was her doctor… her older brother sure was scary when he was being firm.

"You're talking about Rosan?" Sabo asked in return, getting a nod out of the Queen.

The rest of them perked up at that.

"What's wrong with Rosan?" Sanji asked curiously. If something was wrong with him, that mean something was wrong with Robin because those two were always together and if something was wrong with Robin, then Sanji would need to deliver righteous fury onto everyone here.

Sabo cupped his chin but before he could reply, the sound of music captured their attention.

"What is that…?" Nami muttered.

The navigator glanced over the railing and her eyes widened in surprise.

Pulling up on one of the Waver ships, playing an obnoxiously loud sound, was two familiar sights and one unfamiliar one.

"Conis! Pagaya!"

What were they doing here?! Who was that little girl with them? Was she alright? She looked utterly terrified of something.

After allowing all three to board (and getting back their fixed waver that they handed him) the residents of Skypiea thought to explain themselves.

"We came here to help you guys find a way to escape," Conis smiled at the crew, glancing around a bit nervously and frowning when she didn't see the Shiniga— Rosan.

She blinked in pure confusion at seeing three new people instead and the girl noted that two of them looked remarkably like Rosan… while the final one was bandaged heavily under her kimono.

"You're helping us escape?!" Usopp asked.

"You're amazing!" Sanji swooned.

Demon glanced at the small little child in concern. "Is that little girl okay?"

She was curled into herself, with tears of horror falling out of her eyes.

Pagaya frowned. "We're not too sure… we found her on a broken ship and saved her before she could be eaten but sometime during the journey, she teared up and turned into this…"

They glanced at the tiny girl in concern before the doctor moved over to her with easy and gentle steps.

He placed a reassuring hand on her and watched as she jolted with a startled shriek.

"S-STAY AWAY!" Aisa screamed, backing away from the person she couldn't feel until her back hit the wall.

Wait…

Person she couldn't feel?

"Why can't I feel you?" She asked slowly, glancing at the purple haired man with confused eyes.

"Feel me? Does she have...?" Demon hummed in contemplation at that.

"I'll answer you if you answer me. Does that sound fair?" He asked quietly.

She relaxed a little at that soft and deep voice and nodded hesitantly.

Demon simply smiled and said, "I'm not human, that's why you can't feel me. Now, why are you so afraid right now?"

Not human…? What was he then?

"I can hear the voices of the people disappearing…" she said quietly.

"She has Haki?" They all thought in slight shock.

"...A-And I can feel it… The Devil and Kami Enel are in each others company a-and it's so overwhelming."

Lightning. Blizzard. Vanity. Anger. Superiority. Love. Rumbling. Static. Hate…Hate. Hate. Nothingness.

Those two being so close to each other allowed Aisa to feel them at the same time and it was terrifying.

It was getting to the point where she was losing the ability to tell who was who. Both of them were so utterly unnatural.

"So it's like I thought… Master really is with that Kami," Maro mused.

"Yeah, they seem to be moving somewhere pretty quickly somewhere," Sabo mused.

He must have had a reason considering they weren't fighting yet and Rosan made it clear he wanted to battle Enel…

Master might be trying to protect them!

Everyone froze at that revelation.

"They're by each other?!" Conis thought in horror. What… what would happen when two Kamis fought?!

"Rosan's with the Kami?!" Usopp hissed in disbelief.

Oh no. Oh no no no. The redhead was a master at pissing people off! What was going to happen to them when he inevitably infuriated that Kami?!

"We're doomed," Nami sobbed.

"He's not with Robin-chan?" Sanji asked in shock.

Sabo shook his head. "She's alone at the moment but someone's approaching her."

What the hell?! Rosan would never leave Robin alone! Someone was approaching her too?

The redhead was so jealously protective of the archaeologist and didn't want to be separated from her

Did that mean he was distracting Enel for them…? The man could use his attacks anywhere it looked so maybe their scout was looking out for them all…

Gan Fall reeled back in horror at hearing that Enel was on the move and realized this was his chance to see what had happened to the soldiers that had been kidnapped years ago.

The usurper hardly deigned to leave the comfort of his home but he was actively on Upper Yard? And not only that, he and that Rosan were in the presence of each other?!

"I must go now," the former Kami decided. He got up and immediately indicated for Pierre to get ready. "Thank you all for your hospitality but I need to make sure nothing dangerous happens to my men."

With that, the old man flew off deeper into Upper Yard.

"That old man better be careful," Maro muttered, scratching at her bandages and getting slapped on the arm by Angel for doing so.

"So… Enel and… Rosan are not fighting currently?" Conis asked in slight relief.

Aisa spoke up this time and shakily said, "They aren't fighting each other but the voices around them… they're disappearing."

They shuddered at that ominous message.

Just what did that mean? What was going on with Rosan?

----------------------------------------

"Gedatsu has been defeated by that small animal of yours," Enel said, raising a brow slightly as they leisurely traversed through the forest.

"Seems like I really didn't have to interfere," Rosan said idly.

The two were traveling through Upper Yard at amazing speeds to the one named "Kamakiri". Where exactly they were headed? Rosan wasn't sure but not once did he let his guard down.

It became clear that they reached their destination, when Rosan saw two Shandians skating towards a giant beanstalk with a purpose. They were conversing about Enel himself and the redhead hazarded a guess that this was the reason the self proclaimed Kami, chose them as his targets.

Rosan watched as Enel sparked with blue lightning and dashed forward, grabbing one of the Shandian's right off his skate and appearing on top of a massive tree in one movement.

Then, with barely any effort, he fried the man's body with a burst of electricity and tossed the corpse aside like it were trash.

"Fast," Rosan thought as the body landed next to him with a gruesome thud.

Even if he could actually strike him through his tangibility, that speed of his was also a problem.

The man was made of lightning after all. If Rosan unlocked the element, he'd like to use it to supplement his own already impressive speed.

The other Shandian, a man with a Mohawk and big, round sunglasses, froze at the action that was far too quick for him to process. A look of confusion overtook his features at the smell of ozone wafted through the air and he finally registered that he was suddenly lacking an ally.

He hesitantly glanced up and felt his heart stop for a moment.

"Enel and… the Forsaken One?!" Kamakiri exclaimed in shock, unintentionally taking a step back at seeing the two together. A bead of sweat began rolling down his body, as he saw the two predators gazing at him with lazy expressions.

They looked more akin to lions gazing down at a lone gazelle and Kamakiri distantly realized that he was in danger.

Enel smiled lazily as he sat down on the large branch. "Kamakiri-kun, I heard you calling for me so I decided to grace you with my presence."

Rosan tilted his head and said nothing, standing on his own branch and assessing the exchange.

The Shandian recovered quick and glowered as he honed in on Enel.

"You!" Kamakiri snarled, glaring at Enel in pure hatred.

For just a moment, Enel's smile vanished at the lack of respect. "Don't forget your place. You will address me as the almighty Kami."

Then, that lazy smile appeared again. "You want to kill me right? Fine, for the next 5 minutes, I won't move an inch."

"What?!" Kamakiri shouted in disbelief.

Was he… Was Enel looking down on him?!

"I won't lift a finger. I won't defend myself. So for the next 5 minutes, you are free to do whatever you want," The Kami of Skypiea said calmly.

"But after those 5 minutes are up, you'll understand what it means to defy Kami."

Rosan raised a brow. "That's what you plan on doing? I wouldn't have expected that from you," he praised.

What better way to break someone's spirit, then to show that no matter what they did, it would amount to nothing?

Enel knew exactly how to rule through fear. His methods were incredibly effective with the citizens of Skypiea.

"Yahaha! I am their Kami after all. I must be benevolent to my citizens," Enel laughed.

Suddenly, the Logia glanced in a seemingly random direction with a raised brow. "Oh? It looks like some of my soldiers have business with you, Rosan-kun."

The man's smile vanished fully at that. He thought he made it loud and clear that they were to not interfere in his business with Rosan.

They would dare defy him?

"Oh? They have business with me? I wonder what for?" Rosan asked with a raised brow. Who exactly of his subordinates would have a problem with him? He hardly did a thing.

Was his name that riot inciting? How did they even know where he was?

"Don't you ignore me!" Kamakiri roared, charging Enel with his spear and successfully stabbing through his body…

Only for Enel to not show any sign that he even registered the attack.

"It's Satori's brothers hoping to avenge him…" Enel muttered darkly, getting ready to smite them before they could even show up.

"Satori? You mean the Ball Priest…"

Rosan hummed. "So we are not allowed to intervene with other battles, but we can initiate our own, right?"

The lightning man quickly caught on to what he was saying and the smile returned. He took no notice of the man repeatedly attacking him and instead regarded the neutral Rosan.

"Yahaha! That's exactly right. This is a survival game after all. As long as you don't interfere with another battle, anything else is fair."

The redhead nodded, floating down into the clearing and waiting patiently for his opponents.

It didn't take him too long.

"THERE YOU ARE!"

"HOW DARE YOU KILL OUR OLDER BROTHER, HEATHEN!"

"WE WILL AVENGE HIM AT ALL COSTS! YOU WILL PERISH HERE!"

Two round balls, that looked like bald versions of Satori, landed in the clearing with looks of fury on their face.

That fury very swiftly turned into terror at the horrifying sight of seeing Enel there looking directly at them with a calm smile.

"E-E-Enel-sama!" Kotori and Hotori shrieked, taking a step back in horror.

What was he doing here? T-They thought they could deal with the Heathen before he chose to show up! Surely their Kami didn't want anyone dealing with him because no one was equipped... but they were with the knowledge that their dear brother was dead.

Clearly, that was a mistake.

The Logia, who was still being attacked mind you, simply stared coldly at them. "I thought I told all of you to leave Rosan-kun to me. Have you willingly chosen to disobey Kami's orders?"

His cold voice made them go white and the duo realized they were very quickly about to join their brother due to irritating their Kami.

But the daunting aura of Enel vanished and he regarded them with that always present, lazy smile.

"Luckily for you, the Shinigami has presented a good idea for me."

The Logia held up 3 fingers. "3 minutes is how long Kamakiri-kun has left to attack me. In those 3 minutes, you will fight with everything to try and defeat Rosan-kun here."

He pointed at the stationary redhead as he said that.

"3 minutes?!" Kotori stammered.

"Yahaha! Once those 3 minutes are up, if Rosan-kun is still standing, I'll teach you two and Kamakiri what it means to defy Kami," Enel finished coldly.

They both shuddered at that and Kamakiri, who was beginning to realize how helpless the situation was, began to sweat heavily.

"Their brother had all the time in the world to attack me and he failed but you're only giving them 3 minutes? How cruel," Rosan remarked, holding out his ring and having it transform into a scythe.

"It's been too long!" Ram crooned as she transformed into the signature weapon of the Angel of Death.

"Not to worry, you two," the redhead reassured, watching as they went pale at his choice of weapon. "I'll have this done before the 3 minutes are up and you won't have to worry about your Kami's wrath."

"This is a good way for me to see what you and your woman are both made of in one on one scenarios," Enel said, getting comfortable so that he could observe both the battles.

Rosan paused at that and his brows furrowed.

"Robin's fighting someone?" He asked the Logia.

Enel nodded lethargically. "She's currently engaged in combat with my Divine Commander, Yama."

The redhead frowned at that. Engaged? Robin should be more than strong enough to take out someone who wasn't even a Priest.

What was she…

Rosan sighed.

"By any chance, has she already made it to the ruins?"

Enel pondered the question. "They are currently fighting inside of the ruins."

Rosan didn't even wait a second to fire up his connection.

"Robin, I swear to all that is holy, you better not be allowing yourself to take hits for the sake of the ruins."

The long silence was all Rosan needed to know that she was definitely in trouble next time he saw her.

"How did you even know I was fighting someone?" She had the decency to sound sheepish and the fact that she didn't answer his question…

"Robin."

"I can't just let such priceless ruins be destroyed! He has no respect for them so for the time being, I need to lure him out!"

"...He better hope he's dead before I get my hands on him."

He heard Robin sigh in exasperation.

"Don't worry Rosan, I have my Raid Suit on and I already know how to defeat him. I'll even steal all these dials for you… And besides, he would dare try and damage these ruins? He was never going to be spared from the start."

"Good. Give him hell!" Mod cheered.

"Kick his ass Mother!"

"I will," Robin smiled, before cutting the connection.

Rosan gazed at the nervous duo with a suddenly cold gaze.

"Change of plans, I'm going to use you two as stress relief for a bit."

----------------------------------------

"My oh my, aren't you a pretty lady!"

Robin, who had been having a great time exploring the ruins (without her best friend insulting her thank you! She did not miss him!), glanced up from her notes at the unfamiliar voice.

"I need to practice having my observation activated at all times even while distracted…" She mused, taking in the large… thing.

"Who are you?" She asked the obese man, shutting her notes and pocketing them in one of the inner pockets of her Raid Suit.

The weird man ignored her question and immediately charged her.

Robin already saw the attack coming from a mile away but she also saw that this ingrate was going to destroy the surrounding ruins!

Did he not care about the state of them?! This giant oaf was actually going to ruin such heavy history...

That just wouldn't do.

So Robin, in a move that would surely anger Rosan (it was okay she just wouldn't tell him!) decided to put her Raid Suit to the test and took the blow in order to protect the ruins safety.

"Mountain Punch!" He roared, slamming a fist against the woman's midsection.

Both Robin and Yama blinked at the fact that the punch did no damage, before the woman turned on her heel and began to run out of the ruins.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! GET BACK HERE!" Yama yelled, taking chase after the astonishingly quick woman.

Robin marveled at how nice it felt to use the Raid Suit and made sure she remained in the large man's sight so he didn't lose hope or even worse, begin destroying the ruins in frustration.

What an outrageous man, how dare he try and destroy such priceless history? When Robin got her hands on him, he was going to regret being so callous—

"Robin, I swear to all that is holy, you better not be allowing yourself to take hits for the sake of the ruins."

"How does he know?!" She thought to herself in disbelief.

The Devil Child glanced around and blinked in confusion at not seeing one of his many birds scouting the area.

Was it hiding somewhere? No, she could tell exactly where his birds liked to remain and hadn't spotted one of them yet.

So... how did he know?!

Her expression turned slightly sheepish at somehow being caught red handed and the Devil Child sighed fondly at how well the redhead knew her.

"How did you even know I was fighting someone?" She asked in hopes that she'd successfully distract him.

"Robin."

The voice was no nonsense and let her know that her attempts were spotted and disapproved of immensely.

Robin should have known there was one thing and one thing only on his mind… overprotective brat.

It was such a horror to know that she enjoyed his unhinged streak of protectiveness. She was still smiling in embarrassment at his blunt comment of loving her.

"I can't just let such priceless ruins be destroyed! He has no respect for them so for the time being, I need to lure him out!"

She could practically hear him calling her a nerd as soon as she finished that sentence.

"...He better hope he's dead before I get my hands on him."

Robin sighed in exasperation.

Honestly, they were both ridiculously overprotective of one another. That's why neither could get mad at the other for said overprotective streak because they'd be terribly hypocritical.

It was also kind of really cute but Robin would never let Rosan know that.

"Don't worry Rosan, I have my Raid Suit on and I already know how to defeat him. I'll even steal all these dials for you… And besides, he would dare try and damage these ruins? He was never going to be spared from the start."

"Good, give him hell!" Mod cheered.

"Kick his ass Mother!" Ram joined.

Robin simply smiled and said, "I will."

Then she immediately cut the connection so that Rosan did not hear this next part and fly over himself to violently torture this stranger.

Robin immediately turned on a heel and intercepted the body slam that would pulverize one of the ancient buildings. She grunted as the dials on the big man's waist began slashing into her and if not for the Raid Suit, she'd have suffered serious damage on her body.

Thanks to the suit though, she only had a few scratches and a very large man over her trying to crush her with his body.

"Make sure Rosan never finds out about this," Robin thought to herself.

With a huff, the woman tensed up her long arms and pushed the heavy man above her with all her strength.

She underestimated how powerful the suit made her. Robin hadn't fully tested it out in training yet because she had gotten it right as they planned on heading to Sky Island.

With wide eyes, she watched as Yama was sent flying high into the sky with a surprised yell and Robin gazed at her flower themed suit with a pleased noise.

Well, she supposed now was as good as time as any to test out its capabilities.

"What in the world?!" Yama said in disbelief as he soared through the air from the woman's unexpected ludicrous strength.

A presence froze him in his tracks and he gazed up with wide eyes to see the very same woman who had done this, hovering next to him.

"H-How did she get up here so quickly?!"

"You show such little care for the ruins around you and it makes me sick to my stomach," Robin said, scowling uncharacteristically at the idiot before her. "Please die."

He tried to react, but a flurry of arms restrained him with no effort. Not only that, but they deftly turned the axe dials on his own person and made sure the axe dials, if activated, would hurt him instead.

Finally, the woman placed her enhanced high heels on his body and rudely launched him toward the ground at breakneck speeds.

Yama groaned in pain as he crashed into the ground, before he began tumbling repeatedly…

Only to run into another flurry of arms that catapulted him into the nearest tree.

The man spat out copious amounts of blood, as his own axe dials were turned against him and they carved into his body with brutal force.

He clutched his red soaked midsection and heaved, shakily standing up and regarding the woman who had just been in the air before.

She looked apologetic and bowed slightly. "Sorry but you were about to destroy such precious history and I really wouldn't have liked that… I had no choice but to retaliate and you… you did attack me first so I'm just defending myself..."

"What is this?!" The man balked in horror, backing away from the confusing woman.

How did she reach him so quickly?! Wasn't she just furious with him?! What caused her to suddenly be apologetic?!

Who was this…

Yama went pale and began to back away from the woman with mood swings as the realization hit him.

No wings, no tribal clothing... a strand of red hair poking out of all black... How did it take so long for him to realize? They even had pictures of the group of Blue Sea dwellers...

This was the Devil's partner!

Yama made a grave mistake. He didn't know the person he was attacking was the Shinigami's woman. He had only been thinking about surviving Enel's game.

How unfortunate was he to run into someone so dangerous?!

This was bad… only the Priests were equipped to deal with someone of this caliber…

The large heavenly commander began to back away from the apologetic looking woman and froze as a presence behind him made itself aware.

"You're headed towards the ruin again… did you seriously not learn your lesson?" An amused voice asked.

Yama felt cold at that very familiar voice and he slowly turned around, turning white when he saw the exact same woman currently in front of him.

"Surprise!" This Robin smiled widely, exuding a cheerful confidence that starkly contrasted both the demure one in front of him and the angry one in the sky.

Speaking of which…

A figure floated down with a soft thud and glared at him.

"You aren't going anywhere until we're done with you," the angry Robin sneered.

"Sorry about this but you kind of deserve it," the sad Robin bowed once more.

"No hard feelings!" The happy Robin waved.

And to finally solidify his doom, the original Robin herself appeared from atop a tree, closing her notebook with a small smile in a display that clearly meant he wasn't being taken seriously at all by her.

"Those who don't read history, are doomed to repeat it. Only by learning from the mistakes of the past, can humanity ever hope to grow," she began with a shake of her head, crossing her arms.

"You should be glad I stopped you from actually destroying anything. If you did, your punishment would have been a lot worse..."

Robin sighed.

"...That doesn't mean I'll spare you though."

Yama yelped as a flurry of arms formed around his entire body, courtesy of the smiling Robin and they held him still no matter how much he weakly struggled in her grasp.

Then, the sad looking Robin stepped in front of him and made sure to firmly secure the somewhat loose reverse axe dials on his person.

Finally, the angry Robin pushed him over so that he could collapse on a row of arms that formed, courtesy of the original Robin.

"Cien Fleur: Delphinium."

Yama's eyes rolled to the back of his head, as he was rolled over and over the plethora of arms.

All the while, two arms tightened the axe dial further into his body, repeatedly activating some of the dials and making the large man squeal in pure agony.

Robin watched coldly as blood spilled on her summoned arms (She still didn't like the sensation), as she rolled the man at more and more speed, until he slammed ruthlessly into a tree stomach first.

Every axe dial activated once more and the man let out a strangled gasp as they tore into his already destroyed midsection mercilessly.

The arms vanished and the man fell unceremoniously.

He did not move.

"Impressive," Robin praised, gazing at her clones with a small smile. "Well done you three. That was a fantastic display."

Robin never expected to see her face blush so freely, but the one she currently dubbed as "Sad Robin" was showing her a fairly new expression.

Would it be narcissistic to claim she knew why Rosan called her adorable?

The clone of hers face turned red and she smiled shakily, "It was nothing!"

"What? Can't handle a compliment?" Angry Robin sneered, making Sad Robin shrink into herself.

"N-Not really," she murmured as she fidgeted.

Happy Robin rolled her eyes and grabbed Angry by the cheek. "Leave her alone. She did good!" She praised.

The woman grumbled and said, "Whatever. I did better."

Robin watched her clones interact with slight sweat. They all acted so unlike her… it was rather odd to see 3 faces identical to her making faces she didn't typically make.

Wait... did Robin really not convey basic emotions much? Surely she did it besides when Rosan was involved, right?

...

Oh Kami, Rosan really did ruin her image. She only showed such emotions around him!

"You three need names… I'd rather not call you by your emotions all the time," she interrupted their argument a little forcefully, thrown off guard by her realizations.

"I can be Robin #1," Angry decided immediately.

Happy instantly protested at that.

"Why do you get to be #1?!" She spoke up.

"Because I'm the best?" Angry replied, crossing her arms under her bust with a glare.

"Best at what?! This was our first fight and you barely did a thing! If anything, I should be #1!" Happy retorted.

"I barely did anything?! Tell me what you did, useless!" Angry snarled and the two immediately began butting heads.

"Useless?! Maybe we decide who's #1 with a fight because I'm about to break you in half!" Happy barked with a strained smile.

"Try it!"

"I'd like to be Robin #1 too," Sad interjected quietly.

She was ignored.

Robin sighed and resisted grabbing her head. So her clones had clashing personalities...

How fun.

"Enough, or I'm making Rosan name all three of you."

Her clones went white and immediately shut up. They knew what being named by Rosan could potentially entail and they refused to have that be the outcome.

The Devil Child smiled at getting them all to calm down and finally pondered the dilemma of naming them all.

It didn't take her long to reach a solution.

"Angry can be Raven, Sad is Crow and Happy is Canary," she decided eventually.

That was good. They would all be named after birds that matched their personality.

Ravens and crows both typically symbolized death and mourning, but Ravens typically symbolized anger more and crows sadness.

As for Canary… they symbolized warmth and happiness. Robin also didn't want to name one of her clones Bluebird.

"Birds… you're naming us after birds?" Angry (now dubbed Raven) raised a brow incredulously.

"Gotta agree with Robin #2 on this one," Happy (now dubbed Canary) nodded. "I was fine taking Robin #1. We were all in agreement!"

"Who is we?!" Angry growled, preparing to butt heads once more.

Sad (now dubbed Crow) spoke up quietly. "Um… you two were never going to give up Robin #1 so to compromise, she chose other birds to name you as… Our name is Robin after all."

The two bickering clones blinked at that.

Robin smiled and ran a pleased hand through Crow's hair. "Exactly. Thank you, Crow. If it were up to me, you'd be Robin #1. You seem to be the only one who kept my intelligence."

Her demure clone lit up as her features turned rosy and she hesitantly smiled back.

Raven and Canary both spluttered at her blunt admittance.

"Should you really be saying that in front of us?!" They complained.

They were all Robin! Of course they were just as smart!

Robin merely smiled and deactivated her ability, ignoring their complaints all the while.

That was incredible! The amount of punishment she could take and dish out… the fact that her clones could utilize her Devil Fruit (even despite their differences in personality), her sudden aerial capabilities…

The Raid Suit added an entire new realm of weapons to her arsenal that would help her keep up with the swiftly improving monsters in her crew.

She would not be left behind… not when Rosan was her best friend because if he left her in the dust, she'd never be able to live it down… because he wouldn't let her.

He was so insufferable.

Robin would do whatever to keep up with the monsters in her crew and she was proud to admit that she was a monster herself.

Walking up to the mangled body of Yama, Robin wasted no time in robbing him of his axe dial sash and hummed in contemplation at how bloody it was.

Thankfully, she had a solution (courtesy of Rosan) and pulled out the small bag she had stored in one of her many useful pockets of the Raid Suit.

Just like she did with the skates and dial of the previous person she encountered, Robin dumped the sash in the bag connected to his Pocket Dimension and pocketed it on the inside of her long violet cloak once more.

"Alright… time to continue to the original location," she muttered after verifying the disgusting man had nothing more to steal.

Honestly, how rude of Rosan to have her loot corpses.

That greed of his was incredibly problematic and it was extending to other members of the crew now too! He was having them all steal for him with promise of rewards!

The woman adjusted her hat and sighed.

He was lucky she loved him.

----------------------------------------

Hotori collapsed on the floor with a howl and spit out a glob of blood as the Heathen cut into his leg with that demonic scythe of his.

Further away, Kotori was squealing at the fact that there was a hole in his palm, courtesy of the same weapon.

He got that hole because the two were, in his words, "Dumb enough to use a Scent Dial with a fart smell in it" on him and now he was punishing them even further.

While he was riddled in cuts, his opponent was the picture perfect of calm, completely unblemished.

"W-What is this Devil?!" He thought in terror.

Rosan idly spun his scythe with one hand as he assessed the weak duo.

It had been awhile since he last used the scythe in earnest… over the years, he had grown quite fond of using the weapon he used to hate so it felt nice to feel the weapon in his palms again.

Ram actually adored the scythe herself. Granted, she loved every weapon but the scythe was the one she was most familiar with due to being created when he was Reaper.

He was going to just beat them silly until the 3 minutes were up and let Enel kill them… but then one of the idiot twins thought it would be wise to mess with his sensitive nose by using a Scent Dial that had a fart stored into it (he refused to admit how the horrible scent actually disoriented him for quite a bit… not that they could tell).

Needless to say, Rosan was now going to beat them within an inch of their lives.

They tried everything but nothing worked. Rosan had already taken the liberty of stealing 3 of their dials (he recognized Flame and Impact but not this other one… they could keep the scent one) so now he was just cutting them up… making sure the dumb twin with the fart dial suffered even more for his actions.

Meanwhile, Kamakiri was still attempting to inflict any type of damage on Enel, all while growing more and more nervous at not only failing, but watching Rosan effortlessly toy with two of the heavenly soldiers.

Enel had not spared him a single glance, just gazing intently at the bored Rosan with a fascinated gleam in his eyes. The Logia had not taken his eyes off the lackadaisical but precise movement of the redhead and Kamakiri felt his hopes dwindle as the man began laughing at the show.

"Not good, I need to run and warn them all," Kamakiri thought nervously.

He needed to get out of here and fast.

These 5 minutes showed him that Enel was truly invincible. With the Reject Dial, Wyper would still have lost but without it? He stood no chance… especially since the forsaken one was in The Logia's company as well.

If the two were seemingly allies, victory was impossible today. Perhaps victory would always be impossible.

Mind made up, Kamakiri prepared to flee—

"Time's up," Rosan said calmly.

Every one of the victims froze at that statement and they turned nervous as the smell of ozone began seeping into the air.

"Yahaha! You're impressive, Rosan-kun!" Enel praised, amusement clear on his features as he began to glow blue.

"As promised, I gave you time and you failed…"

The smell of ozone grew to dangerous levels.

"...Now it's my turn."

Hotori and Kotori, despite their injuries at the hand of Rosan, found the power to prostrate themselves.

"P-Please Enel-sama! We understand our transgressions! Please forgive us for this mistake and s-save us from this Devil amd punish us after he is dealt with!"

Said Demon floated a comfortable distance away from them as Enel rewarded them with no answer.

Kamakiri was running on pure adrenaline. Pulling out a breath dial on a stick, the man roared out, "BURN BLADE!" and activated it.

A massive fiery beam of fire formed and the Shandian swung it with all his might at the amused Enel, who only grew brighter and brighter.

It cut through his body and the tree next to him like it were made of butter and Kamakiri took that chance to flee.

Grabbing a milky dial, the Shandian formed his own road and went to grab his Jet Dial…

Only for him to freeze at seeing it in Rosan's grasp. The Shandian's knees went weak as hope slowly but surely drained out of him.

"This is useful," he remarked idly, making the board vanish right before his eyes. "I'm going to take it. It's not like you were going to get away anyways. I did warn you about how outmatched you were. Oh and I'm going to take that burn blade too. Useful."

"He's right," Enel said, reforming from the attack. He gazed at Kamakiri with that same amused expression on his face that hadn't left since the 5 minute timer had begun.

It was just like how the Devil not once shifted his expression.

Were they really in the presence of two divine beings? What could they do against them…?!

"I am Lightning," The Logia began confidently. "Since the beginning of time, mankind has replaced all fear of nature, with Kami so that they could escape from the fear of something they could not comprehend."

Kamakiri broke off into a mad sprint, running right past the unfazed Rosan with a look of terror in his eyes as he realized what they were up against.

"They all believe that supernatural phenomena are acts of Kami beyond human understanding… The disasters of heaven, that those same humans thought they couldn't beat…"

The world lit up.

"They are me."

"ENEL-SAMA PLEASE FORGIVE US! PLEASE!" The twin soldiers begged, tears falling from their eyes as the world turned white.

"WYPER, RUN! YOU CAN'T WIN!" Kamakiri howled out as a last resort as he continued to run.

Rosan soared high into the sky.

"1 Million Volts: Vari."

Thunder roared.

Lightning crashed.

----------------------------------------

"Stop following me!" Zoro barked in annoyance at the massive South Bird that he ran into while eating.

His journey after discovering that his hopeless crew got lost, was quite eventful.

As he traversed through Upper Yard, he had found and engaged in combat with one of those guerrilla dudes.

This one (was his name Braham?) had some annoying guns that lit up whenever he was about to fire and it proved to be real annoying for Zoro but he dealt with guns before (courtesy of Rosan) so he suffered minimal damage from them.

Due to also knowing how to deal with an enemy with high mobility (once again courtesy of his versatile scout… training with him was very useful) Zoro had been in the process of learning a technique that could deal with targets from afar.

Cue, the 36 pound phoenix.

"That's a good technique," Rosan had remarked during their training. "You need more range in your arsenal. Especially if you want to stand a chance against me at my full power. I fly around a lot."

That was a good way to motivate him. He'd need to incorporate even more range into his attacks while continuing his tedious journey of learning Haki.

He still couldn't believe he was the first one to unlock it, but was unable willingly access it… meanwhile Luffy and Robin were running around using their observation without a care in the world.

Bah, whatever. He wanted Armament more anyways. He needed to be able to willingly cut through steel.

Zoro gazed at the clearing he just arrived in with a contemplative expression.

"...This looks like the place where our ship was left earlier," he muttered, glancing at the sacrificial altar.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

The swordsman nodded to himself.

"Ah, it just looks similar."

Why did they have two of the same place? Didn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a sacrificial altar?

"Joh," the south bird snickered.

"DON'T LAUGH AT ME!" Zoro barked, throwing his bag at the bird in indignation.

There was a short pause as the bird and Zoro slowly glanced at the bag.

"Don't even think about it," the swordsman warned slowly.

The bird thought about it.

Without any hesitation, it snatched the bag up and prepared to set flight and Zoro dove for the bag, joining the unintentional flight with serrated teeth.

"THERE'S NO FOOD LEFT IN THERE! LET GO!" He roared out, clutching his bag with indignant fury.

"Joh~," the bird sang in joy.

----------------------------------------

"It seems my attacked reached the Milky Road… such a shame, 20 extra voices have been permanently silenced," Enel pondered with a shrug.

Rosan floated down with an inspecting eye, gazing at the 3 charred bodies with a tilted head as he idly snatched the Burn Blade of Kamakiri and placed it in his Pocket Dimension.

"He's strong. Very strong," Rosan remarked, not noticing the tiny way his blood began to sing at the prospect of a good fight.

"Such power… The Goro Goro no Mi has earned its praise… even by Logia standards, its exceptional. Imagine if he actually put effort into training," Mod remarked with a calculating gaze.

Most Logia's did the bare minimum after getting their fruit. They let the power of perceived invincibility get to their head and didn't train as hard as they could. If they actually spent time training, they'd be nearly unstoppable.

Just look at the Admirals of the World Government. The bastions of the Marines, protecting them all with their sheer power.

"This is going to be a tough battle… probably the toughest we've had," Ram pondered, shuddering in excitement.

Rosan agreed but he had to wonder what Enel's plan here was.

Why was he suddenly being so cordial with him? Showcasing what he could do? Talking with Rosan as if they were old friends?

What was his goal?

Did Enel truly think they were both Kamis? Did the man before him, truly think he was a divine being?

How silly. Rosan was no Kami. Rosan was far closer to a Devil than a Kami. His wings being black was evidence of that.

Hm… Rosan wondered how Enel would act if he broke him. The rather sadistic thought snaked through his body as he made eye contact with the Lightning Man.

"You're probably wondering what I'm planning, right?" Enel asked, materializing next to Rosan once more in a clap.

Rosan simply hummed and nodded.

"Join me," Enel said simply, smirking.

Rosan blinked.

Mod blinked.

Ram blinked.

"I plan on leaving Skypiea and all my Priests are more then disappointing… you on the other hand, have impressed me completely. I don't see the point in killing another Divine being especially based on what you can do."

Rosan tilted his head to the side. "You're offering me a chance to join you."

"Yahaha! It's better then dying, isn't it?' Enel asked like it were a given.

"And what about my other allies?" Rosan asked calmly.

Enel shook his head. "They are not interesting to me but besides us, I plan on recruiting the final 5 survivors of this game. Whoever those are, I will extend the offer to."

"The survivors of this game? Final 5? And what will you do with the rest of my allies?" The redhead asked quietly.

The Logia laughed. "Whatever happens to them is of no concern to me or you."

"Even my little brother and sister who aren't combatants? Am I to just let them die?" Rosan questioned darkly, expression shifting in a way that wouldn't be obvious to anyone else but those closest to him.

"Oh? Brother and sister? Would those happen to be the two I cannot feel?" Enel mused. "If I cannot feel them, they are not alive. They are even lesser than humans."

I'm going to rip him to shreds.

"Ah, even if you were contemplating it, that was the wrong thing to say," Mod muttered with a deep scowl.

"I'll have to decline… I won't let danger fall on my crew," Rosan denied eventually, not allowing that heinous thought out in the open.

Enel actually looked slightly surprised by his refusal, raising a brow slightly before that same lazy smile appeared on his face.

"Yahaha! Despite your shackles, you still have the capacity to care… How strange," Enel mused.

Rosan paused. Shackles? Was Enel talking of his emotions?

Could all people with Observation Haki feel his caged emotions?

The Logia seemed to ponder something before coming to a decision.

"Well then, before I kill you, I want to see you at your best. It would be fitting for me to finish off my life in Skypiea by defeating another Kami who is holding nothing back! But, I can't do that with those shackles restraining you…"

Enel's features darkened.

Rosan's gaze sharpened.

"...So I'll push you to stop holding back until those shackles fully unravel. Then, you'll see that even at your best, I am the absolute Kami."

Enel's smile returned and he transformed his body into lightning, "Let the games continue, Rosan-kun. I'll make good of dwindling the numbers of the game. You have quite a bit of nonparticipants on that ship, correct? Including your brother and sister..."

The Kami nodded to himself with a wider smile and waved. "Perhaps I'll go meet them."

With that, he vanished.

"The ship? He plans on destroying Merry? He wants to meet Angel and Demon?"

"Even if Sabo is more then strong enough to eliminate Enel, he won't be able to protect the ship…"

Rosan's gaze narrowed and he spread his wings before soaring in the direction of the ship.

If Enel even put a finger on them, the Lightning Logia would be introduced to the concept of fear.

----------------------------------------

Raki gasped in horror, as she held Kamakiri's charred body up, worry dominating her features as she saw how extensive his injuries were.

"Kamakiri! What happened to you?!" She asked in disbelief, glancing around the clearing.

Not too far, there were two large heavenly soldiers with equally charred bodies. They were both prostrated in a direction, almost as if they were pleading for their lives before being struck down so mercilessly.

The Shandian himself was barely alive, quickly fading away and Raki felt tears forming in her eyes.

"Run. You need to run," he rasped out, gripping her arm with as much force as he could.

"You need to take everyone and run! Enel and that Devil… they're invincible!"

Tears began forming in the man's eyes as the harsh reality of the situation was shown to him.

Raki went cold as she watched the dying man with her own tears. "Enel and the Devil…? Kamakiri…"

"We can't beat them! Enel… The black wings… If we try and fight either of them we'll die!" The broken man cried.

"His spirits been broken by not only Enel… but the one with the black wings?" Raki thought in terror.

Were they traveling together? But why?! If Enel truly believed himself a Kami, then the one with the Devil's wings should have been his sworn enemy! What were they doing in each other's company?!

She could think about that later. Right now, she needed to get Kamakiri medical attention.

"Hold on Kamakiri… I'll bring you to help," she assured, thinking of how to pick him up without aggravating his injuries and resisting the urge to hiss at his severe burns.

"Don't… it's too late for me. Enel got me," he coughed harshly. "I can't even feel my insides… it would be pointless to try and save me and if you do… everyone else will die before you can deliver my warnings!"

Her body went cold at the admittance from him and tears began to fall as she realized that he was right.

The damage to his body was far too severe and it was a miracle he was still breathing unlike those heavenly soldiers over there.

But that wouldn't be for long… Kamakiri was dying right now.

"Raki… you need to tell all of them to run! There's no point in fighting this battle… it's better to cut our losses and… and save the few still alive. If they fight Enel… if they fight that Devil… they're deaths will be in vain! It's all just a game to them!"

Kamakiri clenched her arm once more as his tears of defeat spilled. "Please… don't fight… them…" he begged, voice going weak.

Finally, his arm went lip and he released her.

He was not speaking anymore. He was not moving anymore. He was not breathing anymore.

"Kamakiri?" Raki asked quietly. "Kamakiri… speak to me! Kamakiri!"

Her tears began flowing as he didn't respond and Raki let out a choked sob at seeing one of her closest friends die before her.

Kamakiri was the last person she ever expected to see so broken but Enel and that forsaken one managed to do so.

Enel was the wielder of the Goro Goro no mi… one of the most powerful Logia in existence and as for the for Black Wings…

They didn't know what he was capable of. Nothing was known about them but what was known was that they were dangerous.

If Wyper really tried to fight them both… Were the Shandians out of their league right now?

Raki delicately removed Kamakiri's shades and closed his eyes, laying him down gently.

Then, the woman wiped her eyes and glared in determination at the giant beanstalk.

"I need to find Wyper."

They were in danger. She needed to head to Kami's Temple.

----------------------------------------

"Whoa look at this giant beanstalk!" Luffy awed in excitement, glancing up at it with an eager gaze.

Without any hesitation, the rubber boy began his trek up the beanstalk with enthusiasm, crossing the distance at incredible speeds.

It took the captain of the Straw Hats no time at all to reach the top of the Giant Jack and he surveyed the new area.

"Oh, Zoro!" Luffy greeted happily, waving at his swordsman. "I found you!"

Zoro, who was in the presence of Gan Fall, Wyper and Ohm, glanced back in surprise at Luffy.

"Oh, you finally showed up..." the swordsman remarked, holding a tiny figure in his hands.

Luffy's eyes narrowed slightly and in an instant, he was right next to Zoro.

The others eyes widened at the speed of the carefree looking straw hat boy.

"Chopper!" Luffy frowned, gazing at the bloodied reindeer desperately clutching some items in his hand.

The reindeer was unconscious, from what looked like blade wounds and Luffy's eyes narrowed even further as he gazed at their enemies with a glare.

"That bald guy next to the giant dog did it to him," Zoro said with his own frown. "He told me that he beat one of the priests on his own before running into this one…"

The swordsman glared darkly at the one responsible for this.

Ohm glanced at them with a neutral expression, no remorse on his features at what he did to their doctor as he gauged every one of his foes there.

"Zoro… you want to kick his ass, right?" Luffy asked with a serious look.

The swordsman nodded without hesitation. "Yeah, leave it to me."

"Ohm! What does Enel have planned?!" Gan Fall asked in alert. "Kami's Temple has been completely destroyed, meaning he has no use for it! What is the meaning of this?!"

The Priest spared him a glance. "What Kami has planned is of no meaning to a soon to be dead man."

Wyper huffed as he clenched his bazooka. "All of you keep getting in my way… Fine, I'll finish each and one of you once and for all," he decided.

Ohm sighed forlornly. "Human fragility is such a tragic thing. Very well. Holy."

They all watched in confusion as the giant dog run around the arena randomly, seeming to press something as it did so, before finally stopping.

Their curiosity was soon sated.

The area around them began shuddering uncontrollably before a giant white dome formed around the entire group.

Ohm aimed his sword at all the contestants.

"This is the White-Barbed Iron Death Match. None of you can escape until you defeat me…"

All the combatants tensed up.

"Welcome to the Ordeal of Iron, survival rate 0%."

----------------------------------------

Rosan soared over to the Going Merry with a narrowed gaze.

If they're ship was destroyed, things would get exceedingly difficult for them. They'd have to either use his Save Point and head to Maro's castle, which was less then ideal considering they'd be in the North Blue or rely on Ragnarok to fly back down to the Grand Line.

Not only that, the Logia had the audacity to threaten his little brother and sister... If he dared to put his hand on Angel and Demon... Sabo was there so it would never happen but if Sabo had to split his attention between the boat and keeping everyone safe, even the Revolutionary would be hard pressed to account for all those things.

Sanji was there as well and the chef was incredibly valuable, but he wouldn't be able to beat or defend against the Logia's abilities.

Enel being at the ship was less then desirable and Rosan was not keen on losing Merry just yet until they secured themselves a new one.

"Master?" He heard Maro call before he actually showed up in their view. "What are you doing here?"

The redhead paused as he saw the state his student was in and landed gently on the deck.

"He's not here and the ship is perfectly fine…" Mod pondered in slight confusion.

"I thought the ship was in danger," Rosan replied bluntly.

His eyes roved over all the new additions, briefly pausing at seeing Angel tinkering with a plentiful of Skypiean technology.

The redhead caught his gaze and beamed at him. "What's up Master? You're lookin at me and Demon pretty hard!" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side as she pushed herself up to her feet.

"Are you alright?" Demon asked in concern, next to some little girl.

Rosan couldn't help but feel relieved at seeing his younger siblings fine and sighed to himself. "I was worried for you all. Don't worry about it," he assured.

Mod hummed in confusion. Rosan was... feeling far more fond of Angel and Demon then normal. Did it have to do with that dream of his?

He loved his younger twins, but the redhead had never explicitly been worried for them.

Rosan tilted his head at seeing Conis, her father but didn't spare them much of his attention.

Then, his eyes made its way to the little girl who began tearing up in terror the moment he showed up.

She flinched at being his focus and immediately hid behind Demon, tears forming against her will.

"Why is this little girl so afraid of me? I don't recall ever meeting her," Rosan asked calmly, unfazed by her fear.

Said little girl, flinched horribly at being addressed by him and practically vanished behind his younger brother, who could only sigh in exasperation and turn reassuringly towards her.

"She possesses Mantra…" Conis spoke up. "She's been able to feel you since you've arrived to Skypiea…"

Rosan hummed. "Ah so its not exclusive to Enel… can all Mantra users feel these "shackles" over my emotions then?"

Sabo nodded. "Yep. It's restraining you but some are leaking out."

"I feel so much love and hate at the same time… it's pretty overwhelming for being so covered," Maro commented with a pondering expression.

Rosan nodded. "I've always loved with my whole heart… which means that I also hate with all of it too. Since I've lost a chain, maybe the gaps are allowing some to leak out—"

Wait a minute.

"Maro, how do you know that?" He asked.

The injured Queen grinned at him in superiority, puffing out her chest (and making Sanji swoon) and regarding him with a cocky expression.

"I did it! I unlocked my Observation while fighting that Priest!" She beamed, doing a little dance in the process.

"I finally beat you at something! Praise me! Now! Praise me right now! I'm better then Master at something!" the Dokkaebi laughed in glee, pushing herself up with a small wince to stand in front of her teacher.

She gazed up at him with an eager grin, looking akin to a daughter wanting praise from their parent.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me," Ram moaned in disbelief.

"Language," Mod sighed. If there was one person Ram didn't want beating Rosan in their family, it was Maro.

Rosan simply ran a hand through her bandaged hair and pulled her into a one armed hug. "Well done, Maro. I'm proud of you. With this, you're slowly but surely becoming the strongest person in the North Blue."

Was it a bit annoying that he was truly shaping up to be one of the last to learn Observation?

Yes.

Was he still proud of her?

Of course. He would always be proud of his family and when it came to things like strength... well, he'd love to see the looks on their face when he eventually beat them all.

It was only a matter of time until he was the undisputed best again and then he could bask in the looks on their faces.

"You are so twisted."

Maro beamed up at him and purred at his touch, before rummaging in her Kimono and pulling out a dial.

"Here, for you and Ram," she presented. "It's called a Reject Dial. Apparently it's 10 times stronger then that Impact Dial you absorbed… it's supposed to kill normal humans but you and Ram aren't normal so it should be fine to use," she grinned.

Rosan raised a brow at that and accepted the gift without hesitation. "That's useful… Thank you, Maro."

"Anything for my can't use Observation Master!" She beamed.

The grin on her face vanished as a hand gripped her cheek and she began to whine.

"Y-You can't do this to me! I'm injured! Look at all my bandages!" Maro shouted in horror.

"Says who? I'm free to do whatever I want to my student," he muttered, gripping it even harder.

The Dokkaebi squealed. "A-Angel help me! Didn't you just hear him? He said he can do whatever he wants to me!"

"It's Master. I have nothing to worry about when he's dealing with you because he isn't a massive pervert," Angel replied as she went back to tinkering with something.

"WELL THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD MARRY HIM INSTEAD!" Maro roared in indignance.

"Can't. He's my older brother," she replied calmly.

The Dokkaebi spluttered. "I'm sowwy Master, please forgive me. I need to talk to my wife about something!" she pleaded.

He mercifully released her and made no comment at seeing Angel suddenly seize up at the ominous aura washing over her.

For their sakes, he wouldn't comment. Both were utterly unhinged when it came to him and he tended to make things worse.

The redhead glanced down at the Reject Dial and had Ram absorb it, grunting as he felt his body pulse.

"!" Ram's eyes widened. "Goblin wasn't kidding, Father. This Dial is like the Impact on steroids and I can even negate the recoil too!"

If they had a stronger version of the Impact… perhaps there was a stronger version of the breath dial too. If he could find one that was 10x stronger, then his ability to manipulate wind would be achieved.

Wait a minute. Didn't his bird recently report Chopper's battle with that Priest? Wasn't he utilizing something called a Jet Dial?

Hm...

"Rosan, what are you doing here?" Nami asked in confusion.

He snapped back to attention and frowned. "I was with Enel to stop him from focusing his attention on anyone else. Then he mentioned destroying the ship and dealing with Angel and Demon so I flew here as quickly as possible to try and stop it because even with Sabo, it would be hard to defend the Merry from his wide range attacks while protecting everyone."

"You were worried about us?" Demon asked with wide eyes.

"Of course," Rosan muttered, brows furrowed.

"T-That... you're so fucking sweet, Master!" Angel bawled, jumping on him and making him grunt.

Usopp's eyes widened. "Is that why you were with him? So that he didn't come after us?"

Rosan nodded, hugging Angel and Demon as they lunged on him.

The sniper wiped tears out of his eyes and said, "Our scout is such a good guy!"

"Y-You weren't teaming up with him," Aisa asked quietly, squeaking as he looked at her.

"No. I was simply going along with his whims to humor him. My goal has always been to defeat him… he tried to kill me twice after all," Rosan answered calmly.

Sanji frowned at that. "Something's not adding up… why would he tell you he was going to attack the ship and not do it? Was Sabo deterring him?"

The revolutionary was also deep in thinking at that. "It might have been… I haven't seen him even once so maybe he understands the gap. Did he say anything to you, Rosan?"

The redhead nodded. "He said he wants to beat me at my full power and that can't happen while my emotions are being shackled—"

Rosan froze mid sentence and they looked at him in worry.

"Forcefully… unlock… my emotions…" He said to himself before his expression turned thunderous.

Aisa, Conis and Pagaya went white at the expression on his face and they shakily backed away from the Shinigami.

Angel and Demon stamped down their slight fear.

"Rosan, what's wrong?" Nami asked in worry. He didn't make a face like this often at all. They had rarely ever seen him get angry...

"Enel's target isn't the ship. He just wanted me to come here and waste time," Rosan snarled, eyes glowing brightly as he mechanically turned his head back to Upper Yard.

The anger in his tone caught them all by surprise, but they knew that only one thing could make him react like this and everyone felt themselves going pale in worry too.

Sabo was the one who spoke up. "Are you saying his target is…"

"It's Robin," the redhead finished.

Without any hesitation (he even forgot to tap into his connection with her), he vanished from his spot and the rest of the crew could only gaze at it in shock.

"He's going after Robin?!" Sanji roared in disbelief.

Maro's expression was grim. "He even knows that Robin's the best way to unlock Master's emotion… this Enel guy is scary," she said.

"So much hate…" Aisa whispered, petrified.

"Robin will be fine… Master won't let anything bad happen to her," Angel reassured.

She really did hope nothing bad happened. If something did, Enel wouldn't be the only thing Master destroyed and he was far older than 9 now.

----------------------------------------

Wyper snarled in annoyance as both the Straw Hat boy and Gan Fall dodged his flamethrower with ease.

Luffy frowned at the Shandian, while holding onto the unconscious Chopper and said, "If you keep attacking me, I'm gonna kick your ass."

"Just try it," the man growled.

Gan Fall shook his head in disbelief. "We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves while Enel is still at large! It is instrumental for our livelihood that we take both him and his Priest out!"

Wyper let out a snort. "What makes you think I view you any better then Enel, Gan Fall?!" He barked.

The former Kami of Skypiea froze at that.

"To me, you and him are the exact same! Both of you have taken claim of a land that does not belong to you and refuse to give it back! Do you think after this is over, I'll let you reclaim your position as Kami of Skypiea?! No, BOTH OF YOU USURPERS DIE TODAY!" He roared, aiming his burn bazooka at the Knight of the Sky.

Gan Fall sighed at the injured man's drive and had Pierre fly out of the way of the lethal flamethrower attack.

Wyper glared and prepared to pursue with his shooters, but a voice made him go cold.

"WYPER!" Raki called.

His eyes went wide in horror and he immediately turned around. He saw Raki rushing towards their caged trap and felt his horror grow.

That idiot! What the hell was she doing here?!

"Raki, What are you doing here?!" Wyper roared. Didn't he tell her to stay behind?! Why had she disobeyed him!

"Wyper! You need to get out of here! Kamakiri he… before he died, he told me to relay a message to you!" Raki choked out.

...What? Kamakiri was… dead? That wasn't… That couldn't be possible.

He was dead?!

"We can't fight them. Enel… the Devil, there's no point in trying to fight them! We'll die in vain so please escape!" Raki pleaded.

Wyper ran right up to the trap and began to clutch the barbs, uncaring of the wounds he was sustaining.

"We can't fight them, Wyper! They're invincible…"

The woman trailed off as she saw Wyper's visible horror…

And then the smell of ozone wafted through the air.

"You called?"

Raki felt her heart turn cold, as she hesitantly turned around and came face to face with the amused Kami himself.

"ENEL! STOP! SHE'S NOT A FIGHTER!" Wyper howled, making eye contact with the merciless Logia.

The woman gazed up at impending doom and shuddered… before raising her rifle and shooting twice.

Enel raised a brow, as the two holes on his chest closed up and he stared the woman responsible for it down.

Raki felt the hope drain out of her as she remembered Kamakiri's words and she glanced back to look Wyper in the eyes.

"Wyper… run."

That was all she was able to say, before her body was burned ruthlessly by Enel.

Wyper watched her fall with a cold expression on his face, clenching the sharp gates tighter and tighter.

"Yahaha! Now that that's dealt with… I have someone else to visit," Enel said, not bothering to spare anyone in the cage a glance.

With a flash of blue, the Logia vanished.

"So that's the Kami, huh?" Luffy mused. His Observation flared and he glanced downwards in confusion.

"He's right below us…? With Robin?! Where's Rosan?!" The rubber boy said in disbelief.

How was he supposed to get down there? Why was Rosan flying in the opposite direction? Didn't he have dibs?!

----------------------------------------

"He's using Haki to tell where I am!" Zoro huffed in annoyance, clutching a wound he got from that damn Priest's Eisen Whip.

Hiding did him no good because Ohm could just detect him wherever he went…

Not to mention he was dealing with that damn dog too.

"Eisen Whip."

The wounded swordsman grunted as he barely dodged the attack, only to gasp as the dog crashed into him, sending him tumbling across the ground.

To make matters worse, that iron cloud sword reared its ugly head again and slashed into his midsection brutally, drawing a spray of blood.

"It doesn't matter where you go, I will be able to find you," Ohm stated confidently.

Zoro scowled in annoyance and dashed towards the man.

"Hawk Wave!" He called, preparing to cut into the man.

Only his training with the more flexible weapon known as Ram, gave him enough time to halt his momentum, preventing him from crashing headfirst into the iron wall.

"Oh? You have good reactions," the Priest praised.

"Eisen Fan!"

Zoro clashed against the fan shaped weapon with a grunt and the rapid sound of heavy footsteps alerted him to the nuisance making his life significantly harder.

He dodged Holy's charge but Ohm anticipated that with his mantra and prepared accordingly.

"Eisen Whip!"

Zoro spit out a heave of blood as the attack connected directly with his back and he was sent soaring until he crashed into a building.

"Good job, Holy."

"You cannot win, Blue Sea dweller. You've got interesting moves but as long as you keep doing the same ones, you'll die," Ohm said bluntly, adjusting his shades in the process.

Zoro coughed up blood and shakily pulled himself up, glaring at both the Priest and his dog.

He discarded his broken goggles in favor of his headband and secured it tightly on his head, before pulling out his third blade.

Ohm shook his head. "You and your companions have done well but I've already taken aim at your heart. Pray to Kami, swordsman of the Blue Sea."

Zoro spit out some blood before grinning. "Idiot. I will never pray to Kami."

The Priest shrugged. "Pity. Holy."

The dog growled before charging towards Zoro.

At the same time, Ohm prepared to send yet another Eisen Whip towards the swordsman.

Zoro simply clenched his swords tighter.

"The past held 36 worldly desires. The present holds 72…"

He placed Wado Ichimonji in his mouth.

"...The future will hold 108 worldly desires."

The Eisen Whip flew forward along with the giant dog...

"108 Pound Phoenix!"

Ohm's eyes widened for a split second before the air slash slammed into Holy, his Eisen Whip and then him.

If not for the fact that his pet dog was standing in front of him, he'd have been defeated by that one blow. That didn't mean he didn't take serious damage from it though, the blood staining his entire midsection was proof of that.

Holy let out a pitiful growl as it was instantly cut into by the powerful wave attack and it fell over.

Zoro grunted as he dashed forward towards the still conscious man.

Ohm's eyes widened and he hastily put up an iron cloud wall again to defend himself from the finishing attack.

"Remember it. Feel it. The same sensation that allowed me to cut steel. Tap into it again," Zoro thought to himself, not halting his momentum whatsoever as he made a dash towards the iron cloud wall.

"Fool! At that speed you won't be conscious after crashing into my wall!" Ohm shouted in victory.

Zoro ignored him. The swordsman merely tensed his muscles and continued his course.

"Feel it. Embrace it. Remember it."

"Oni…"

"The only difference between humans, is whether they die sooner or later. This is where you die!" Ohm declared, prepared to finish Zoro off once the swordsman was knocked unconscious.

He never got the chance.

"GIRI!"

Three slash marks appeared on Ohm's chest, as Zoro not only cut through his iron cloud, but his body as well and the Iron Priest spat out copious amounts of blood.

His eyes, that were covered by the shades, rolled to the back of his head and he fell backwards, clutching his wounds in disbelief.

"Im...possible," he rasped in defeat, blood pooling under his body from both blows.

Zoro panted slightly but grinned wildly as he gazed at his swords.

This sensation… He wasn't too sure but this had to have been the feeling of Armament. This was the same feeling he felt when he cut into Mr. 1.

And this time he remembered it.

The swordsman's grin turned truly demonic at that.

----------------------------------------

"So this is the lost city of Shandora…" Robin pondered, inspecting everything with a fascinated gaze.

Glancing around, the woman noted that the Golden Bell that was said to be in the center of the city, was nowhere to be found.

She had been learning quite a bit as she made her way over here and if she was right, there was a Poneglyph here and this city was protecting it…

She wondered where it was located… was it relocated by the Knock Up Stream or something else…?

The woman inspected her notes once more, as she idly dipped into her Observation Haki.

Luffy, Zoro and Chopper were right above her. Their doctor was currently unconscious but he was being protected by the captain so there was nothing to worry about, even if they were in the middle of a fight up there…

Robin's lips pursed in slight confusion.

Last she checked, Rosan and Enel were indeed traveling with each other and they had been around 3 other presences that had been snuffed out 5 minutes after meeting them.

She had no illusions what happened to them and didn't dwell on it too long.

Robin had also been so invested in her research, that she hadn't tapped into their connection.

Now, Rosan was currently beelining it towards the ship for some reason while Enel was…

Enel was…

Right behind her.

"Yahaha," a voice laughed and she went stiff.

What was he doing here? Why was the self proclaimed Kami suddenly near her?

This was bad, Robin had no means to attack him and even if she did... she didn't think she could defeat this man.

"Amazing isn't it? Even after being shot in the sky, the city of Shandora still exists like this."

Enel gazed at her, amusement in his eyes as he bit into an apple and lazily gauged her. He was sitting atop a pillar cross legged and looked completely at ease.

"So you're Rosan-kun's partner… Robin, correct?" The Kami asked, materializing right in front of the wary woman.

Robin remained silent but Enel didn't seem to mind.

"I can see why. You're quite impressive for discovering this place. No other foolish Kami has been able to find this place and it even took us months to find it… but you managed to only do so in a few short hours," he praised.

"I can see why Rosan-kun chose you as his partner, you're a useful tool."

Robin withheld a flinch at that and felt her gaze darken at that final statement.

What was it with everyone only viewing her as a tool and trying to imply that Rosan thought the same as them?

"Rosan would never call or treat me like a tool. Don't speak as if you know either of us," she couldn't help but bite out.

Enel's smile widened. "Yahaha! Is that what you think? You, a mere archaeologist, think you understand what goes on in that twisted Kami's mind?"

The Devil Child raised a brow at him. "It seems you're not as all knowing as you act like Kami. You don't know a thing about Rosan but you act like you do and now you're trying to rile me up so that you can learn something, aren't you? You ran away from him too... are you actually afraid of him?"

This was incredibly reckless but well, she couldn't help it. Who did this person think he was to try and tell her what she knew about her best friend?

Robin had known that lovable redhead since he was 4. His ins and outs. What made him tick. She learned all of it and she was proud to be one of the few people who did.

She was his first friend and best friend. Rosan kept no secrets from her at all and these days, he told her more things then even Mod-chan and that was a privilege she was glad to have.

She was his most trusted ally. She would be damned if some Logia with delusions of grandeur told her what she knew about Rosan.

Robin was satisfied to see the smile vanish off of Enel's face, replaced by something far more unamused.

The Kami of Skypiea sized her up. "Yahaha! Afraid? Such audacity! You really are impressive. Well then, can you answer this question?"

"...What?" She asked warily.

"What makes me superior to Rosan?" Enel asked calmly.

Robin blinked at that question.

What made him superior to Rosan?

The answer was nothing because Robin didn't think Enel was superior to Rosan at all.

The Logia vanished and appeared atop a pillar. "What is it that separates me from Rosan-kun?"

This time, he appeared atop the main building of Shandora and glanced down at her with a superior smirk.

"What is the key difference between the two Kamis that makes me better?" Enel asked calmly.

"…" Robin said nothing, just keeping her eyes trained on the man the entire time.

"Fine, I'll tell you."

Enel appeared on the floor again, a distance away from her as he smirked at her.

"Besides the fact that I am lightning and he is not... The difference between us, is I don't allow such unnecessary things to weaken myself."

"A Kami does not need bonds. A Kami needs followers but for some reason, Rosan-kun has formed bonds and he's suffered for it," Enel pointed out accurately.

"If not for such frivolous bonds, he would not be imprisoned by these shackles. Now, he's a shell of his former self… all because he tries to fit in with the humans."

Enel shook his head. "It's unbefitting of a Kami to act the way he does so as a favor to him, I'm going to make things right."

"And that starts with you because you are the worst offender. You, a mere concubine, becoming more then your intended role."

Robin stiffened as the Logia began to glow.

"Yahaha! I'm going to force those shackles of his away and I'll be the one to transform him into a Devil... and you're going to help me, Robin."

The woman's eyes widened as ozone began permeating the air. Her observation began to blare and it made her well aware that she was not going to be fast enough to dodge the incoming attack.

"A Kami should not allow anything to weaken him. Allowing humanity to seduce you, is divinities greatest mistake. Absolve yourself from the matters of those beneath you, unless it's to deliver justice. Let this be Rosan's first lesson," Enel smiled.

"El Thor."

A massive beam of electricity, flew from the Logia's arms and headed straight for her, looking more akin to a wave instead of electricity.

It was so large, that Robin would have no hope of dodging it in time. She could only hope that the Raid Suit would be good enough to weather the damage.

The bright light made her inadvertently close her eyes and she braced herself for impact.

This was going to hurt quite a bit.

Robin gasped at the feeling of being grabbed and she felt dread well up inside of her as a figure put themselves completely in the way of the lightning attack by covering her.

Once the attack died down, the woman hesitantly opened her eyes and felt her horror deepen, as Rosan stared down at her with visible concern in his eyes.

"I made it in time," he sighed in relief, resisting the tremors shooting through his body.

"R-Rosan…" Robin choked, eyes going wide at the state he was in and feeling tremors shooting through her own body for different reasons.

Her best friend took the full brunt of that attack in her stead with no hesitation. The redhead's outfit was destroyed and it allowed her to see his charred skin from the lightning attack that was quickly healing up.

"Are you alright?" He asked gently, inspecting her body thoroughly with an ironclad grip on her.

"Am I okay?" She retorted in disbelief, tentatively touching his burned skin with a horrified glance.

He wasn't wearing his Raid Suit (because of her) and that meant he was fully damaged by that dreadfully strong electricity.

But despite that… he was still more concerned about her well being...

Even if it was her fault, none of that mattered to him except for her safety.

"Yahaha! I knew it," Enel laughed, right behind the redhead who went tense. "You're too worried about others. That it causes you to take your attention off of me…"

His expression darkened and the Logia placed a sparking hand directly on Rosan's back.

"Who exactly are you planning on teaching a lesson to, like that?" Kami asked.

"100 Million Volts: Vari."

Torture. Shocking. Seastone. No one but himself. No Mod-chan. No Robin.

J-Just a cruel doctor who kept hurting him. Why did he keep hurting him?!

"What is your name? What is your name? What is your name?"

Rosan underestimated how difficult it was to face trauma head on and Enel made that very clear.

The redhead let out a shaky rasp, as his eyes rolled to the back of his skull. The only thing he could think of, was the constant torture Doc put him through, as the mad man repeatedly shocked him.

"What is your name? What is your name? What is your name? What is your name?!"

"ROSAN!" Robin screamed, clutching the convulsing redhead even despite the fact that she was inadvertently getting shocked in the process by Enel.

For just a moment, Rosan heard her voice loud and clear through the pain and his eyes gained a spark of clarity before he blacked out.

"R-Robin?" He thought in confusion. She was here? To save him?

"You're looking for something you already found, Rosan. You already have reasons to live and you'll realize that soon enough."

Enel cut off the attack and gazed dispassionately as the redhead's body collapsed on the floor.

"Rosan…?" Robin called out quietly. The woman shuddered in pain due to the effects of the lightning but despite that, she bent down to touch the electricity riddled redhead.

She held the man's upper half as she gazed at his unconscious form. Despite his burns, he looked like he always did when he was sleeping...

The woman began trembling slightly at the state he was in and clutched him tighter.

"Yahaha! Such a shame, he suffers the same problems as that fool Gan Fall," Enel sighed with a shake of his head. "I was hoping he was different but he's just a disappointment. Another failure of a Kami."

"Shut up."

The Kami of Skypiea blinked at the sight of the archaeologist glaring at him.

The Devil Child was scowling in full force. "You keep talking about how you're better than Rosan but you aren't even half the man he is. You delusional little Kami, riding off the power of a Logia… Failure? You could have easily fought him upfront yet you resort to such petty tactics. Some Kami you are," Robin scowled in full force.

The woman clutched Rosan to her frame as she ridiculed Enel, uncaring of what he could do to her.

No. All she could feel was the bristling anger at the tactics of this scumbag.

How dare he use their bond to get such a cheap blow? Didn't he claim to be invincible?

"You say that you're better then Rosan… but I think deep down, you fear him. You trick him, you distract him and when the time to fight finally shows up, you resort to petty sneak attacks. You're afraid of Rosan which is why you resorted to doing this."

The wind began buzzing with static, as Enel lost his smile.

"Half the man he is? Fear?" He repeated slowly before materializing directly in front of the angry woman.

"You're mistaken archaeologist. I am no man. I am Kami."

The look in his eyes were terribly cold but despite that, Robin didn't falter. If not for the fact that she was so worried about Rosan and Enel being a Logia, she'd have long attacked him.

"I didn't attack Rosan-kun out of fear. I punished his weakness."

Enel glanced dismissively at Rosan's black wings lying flat on the ground.

"On the White Seas, ancient folktales speak of a person born with black wings. The one born with such wings, is considered a deviant, a natural opposite of a Sky Islander due to being the enemy of natural order. Devil. Fallen Angel. Heathen… The one with Black Wings has many titles but one thing remains true and that is that they're an enemy of Kami."

The Logia's gaze was grave. "No one is my equal and I wanted to make that clear with Rosan-kun here. He was most impressive already but I wanted to defeat him at his best…"

"I just didn't expect him to throw his life away for a human. I figured since you were his consort, he'd take offense to you being killed… but I didn't think he would actually take the attack in your stead. He doesn't have what it takes to be my equal, so I killed him."

Enel raised his hand to the air.

"But since you think I fear him… perhaps you require more of a demonstration."

Robin, who was focused on Rosan once more, glanced up once he said that and prepared to defend both herself and the redhead if she had to.

But Enel was not aiming for her. No, he was aiming right above himself…

Right where the action was taking place between the rest of the contestants.

"Sango."

----------------------------------------

"Enel plans on destroying all of Skypiea?" Conis asked in horror as they nursed the wounds of one of Gan Fall's old soldier who had been enslaved by Enel.

The injured man nodded. "He has a ship called the Arc Maxim… he plans on using it to leave Sky Island and then he's going to destroy it all… please! You have to tell everyone to evacuate Sky Island…"

Conis bit her lip and nodded in determination. "I can do it! Father and I can go tell them what's about to happen then plan an evacuation."

"We can keep heading to the right area to escape then," Nami said with a nod.

Suddenly, Aisa and Maro let out loud gasps while Sabo's expression went grave.

"What? What happened?" Demon and Usopp asked in concern.

Maro was shaking a bit with wide eyes, glancing in a random direction.

"M-Master he was…" She tapered off, not believing what she felt.

Aisa fared no better. "E-Enel he… he just…"

"What?! What happened to Master?!" Angel barked in concern.

"...He's been knocked unconscious," Sabo told them. "I don't know the details but he's right next to Robin and Enel is there too."

Everyone's eyes shot up in surprise at that.

"Rosan's been knocked unconscious?!" Sanji asked in confusion.

Hearing that their scout was actually beaten left them all reeling in surprise.

"That bastard must have cheated!" Angel snarled furiously. "Master just teleported over to her! He would never be taken out in a few hits!"

"I think so," Sabo agreed with a frown. "Enel was with Robin alone and it's clear he was using her to get to Rosan…"

"Some Kami he is," Maro scoffed angrily. "Afraid that Master was gonna kick his ass so he turned into a huge coward."

"Will Rosan and Robin be alright?" Usopp asked in concern.

Sabo pursed his lips in contemplation. "Luffy and Zoro are with them now along with that old man… Maybe I'll go check on them."

Demon shook his head. "That's not a good idea. I don't think any of us here can beat him right now but you and if you go there, nothing is stopping him from coming here to wipe us out. It's better to rely on Luffy to handle him," the doctor reasoned.

Sabo nodded at that logic. It seemed like Enel actually was avoiding him and if he left, that would give him time to decimate everyone on the ship…

"Master isn't down and out yet," Maro said in determination. "Some cheap shot won't take him out for long and when he wakes up, that stupid Logia is gonna feel the Angel of Death's wrath."

They glanced at the student of Rosan with a bit of awe.

"You have so much faith in him," Conis couldn't help but say in awe.

Why was it, that everyone under Enel's rule was terrified of him, but no one feared Rosan? Wasn't he the one with the black wings? The bringer of chaos? Weren't he and Enel the same type of monsters?

Maro nodded strongly. "Ever since I've known him, he's been the person to put the most faith in me and because of that, I've never let him down if I could help it. What type of student would I be if I didn't place the same amount of faith in him?"

Her answer was full of confidence and didn't hold a hint of doubt. She truly believed in Rosan's capabilities and it was inspiring to know the two had such faith in each other.

"You're right," Sabo said after a moment, unloosening his stance. "I'll stay here and make sure nothing happens to you all. They'll deal with Enel."

Nami nodded. "Believe in them! Conis you go focus on evacuating those people… we'll focus on doing our part and they'll do theirs!"

There was nothing to worry about. Even with Rosan unconscious, Luffy would deal with it! Those two were incredibly reliable when it came down to it.

Enel was going to be defeated today if they had anything to say about it.

----------------------------------------

"Back so soon?"

Rosan picked himself up at that and glanced over at the concerned Meiko. Her large blue eyes were filled with worry that made his heart pang with nostalgia.

"Looks like it… I took an attack meant for Robin and was knocked unconscious," the redhead said, pushing himself up and gently hugging the girl.

She squeaked in embarrassment but returned the hug, small arms wrapping around him as she sighed.

"Getting shocked brought out your trauma too…" she muttered worriedly. "I knew you weren't fully healed from those wounds… fighting a lightning man might be really difficult for you."

Rosan frowned at that. "Considering I already lost then yeah… I didn't even get a hit in."

Two hits... he lost in two hits. How shameful.

Meiko blinked in confusion. "Lost?! You took an attack for Robin and then he cheapshotted you, dummy! Not to mention, it wasn't even his attack that knocked you unconscious… it was the memories of what Dad did to you…"

The redhead sighed at that. "I thought I washed my body of his presence. But the moment I got hit by a strong lightning attack, all my trauma came roaring back and it overwhelmed me."

Was he really capable of doing something like this? He was a failure after all so maybe he shouldn't even bother...

"And that's okay!" Meiko said strongly, slapping both his cheeks with a look of determination. "Facing your trauma head on isn't easy but you can do it, Rosy!"

It was so simple but so Meiko of her to say.

Rosan glanced at her in confusion. "You think I can do it?"

She nodded with such fervor, the redhead couldn't help but crack a smile.

"I think you can do anything you put your mind to, Rosan! Don't let some chains hold you down because nothing can hold the person I fell in love with down. Don't you want to become a force of nature, Rosy? It's unbefitting to be afraid of lightning," she admonished with a small grin.

Rosan blinked at that.

He… he did want to be a force of nature didn't he? Being afraid of the elements that he wanted to be compared to, looked terrible on him. How could he ever become a force, if one of those forces scared him?

That would make him so pathetic!

Not only that... who was he to let something chain him to this degree? Being chained down by anyone besides his loved ones… That wasn't who he was.

No. He was Portgas D. Rosan, a wild and free spirit that refused to be held down by something as simple as chains.

Here he was, questioning if he should even be qualified to fight someone, when previously the only thing he'd be thinking about was how he was going to win.

It didn't matter who it was. It didn't matter how bad the odds were. Once Rosan got into a fight, the only thing on his mind was winning.

He would fight tooth and nail until the battle was over and his enemy was broken underneath him. That was his right as the one who planned on becoming the strongest in the world.

Meiko smiled victoriously. "That's what I like to see… And Rosy, you're a computer man. Lightning should be the easiest element for you to deal with!"

Rosan felt himself freeze at that, as an epiphany struck him and an unhinged glint entered his eyes.

"Meiko, you're a fucking genius," he said eventually, feeling something shift at the prospect of battle.

The blonde lit up red at the compliment. "You're welcome!" She beamed.

Then, a look of contemplation appeared on her face.

"Oh and one last thing... I completely approve of Robin! She's so sweet!" The blonde smile mischievously.

Rosan blinked and a look of shock appeared on his face, before he smirked. "So you really wouldn't have a problem dating the both of us. Shameless pervert," he sighed with a shake of his head.

Meiko's jaw dropped in confusion, as a brilliant dose of red covered her cheeks. "B-Both?! That's so indecent! I-I mean I wouldn't have a problem with it though... You're both really cute so..." she mumbled.

Rosan snorted and gazed at her in amusement. "Shameless. Right in front of me? You and Robin have no class at all."

"E-Enough about me! Go make sure Robin knows you're alright and give that narcissistic Logia a beating!" The blonde whined, pushing him away and scowling as he barely moved.

His blood began to roar at that and he nodded excitedly.

"Bye, Rosy! Give him hell!" She cheered.

"I will. I think I just figured a few things out that I want to test," he retorted, eyes unknowingly glowing bright.

With that, he vanished from the white field.

----------------------------------------

"Sango."

Robin clutched Rosan and moved to a safe spot with him in order to avoid the falling debris.

Enel's attack blew a hole right through the cloud and as a result, everyone fighting above them was rudely brought to the ancient city of Shandora.

"W-What?!" Zoro called out, watching the very ground beneath him break.

His eyes bugged in disbelief as he saw just how far they were about to fall.

"Zoro! Chopper! Hang on!" Luffy called out, wrapping his arms around his falling crewmates and bringing them close.

Rapidly kicking his feet, the rubber boy steadied himself and angled himself to quickly descend to the floor.

What he saw, left him stunned.

"R-ROSAN?!" Luffy called out in disbelief, dashing towards his unconscious and scarred brother with a look of concern.

The rubber boy crouched down in shock as he regarded his oldest sibling. "How did this happen? Rosan would never lose to this guy! Robin, what happened?!"

The rubber boy had been paying attention to what was happening under him with his own Observation so he had been understandably shocked to see Rosan's aura suddenly diminish.

Gan Fall's eyes widened at seeing the state Rosan was in.

Was there truly no extent to Enel's power? To so effortlessly take out the powerful redhead...

Could Skypiea truly be saved?

"Enel took a cheap shot at him… He was attacked protecting me," Robin informed them quietly, clutching his prone body.

Zoro's eyes narrowed. "Bit of a cheap move for a Kami."

"He caught Rosan off guard… He's a cheater!" Luffy scowled, glaring at the amused Logia.

If it had been a proper 1v1, his brother would never have lost!

Wyper glanced around in shock. "It can't be… this place, is it?!"

"Yahaha! Welcome to the finale! There's no better place to finish it and you get to all witness the defeat of my so called enemy!"

Enel spread his arms victoriously. "Rejoice in your invincible Kami!"

The Logia didn't even blink, as a flamethrower phased through his body.

"Enel," Wyper snarled, hoisting up the Bazooka with his good arm.

"Attacking me is rude, Warrior Wyper. I even went to the trouble of bringing you to your homeland," Enel smiled, turning his attention towards the Shandian.

"Ah well, some people are just ungrateful to their core. Even if Kami himself is the one giving gifts."

Wyper had no time to react, as Enel tapped one of his drums.

"30 Million Volts: Hino."

A large electric bird slammed into Wyper at unbelievable speeds, making the Shandian rasp as his body was immediately burned from the impact.

His eyes rolled to the back of his head as Enel smiled cruelly at him.

"This is your limit. It's admirable that you made it this far but you could never hope to stand up to me," Enel said matter of factly.

Wyper stumbled backwards but he suddenly caught himself. Not even looking conscious, the man sprinted towards Enel with a single minded purpose.

It was for naught.

"I already know of the Seastone and I know you don't have your Reject due to your battle with the Blue Sea dweller," Enel called, intercepting the man with an amused glint.

The Shandian's eyes widened in a moment of genuine fear, as his last desperate attempt to defeat Enel, was snuffed out before he could even begin it.

"Yahahaha! Now you are beginning to understand, Warrior Wyper…"

"...It's not that people fear Kami, Fear itself is Kami."

Enel pointed a finger at the man.

"Raiho."

A long beam of electricity pierced Wyper right through his stomach and caused the man to begin convulsing. Sparks began running through his frame and try as he might, he could not get back up or control his body.

"Lay there and witness the fall of your homeland and this country. I want you alive to view my ascension," Enel informed him with a cocky smirk.

Those words caught the attention of Gan Fall and the old man's eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean by that, Enel?" He asked incredulously. "Fall with this country… just what are you planning?!"

The current Kami of Skypiea grinned. "Gan Fall… did you know that in the place I was born, there is a place that Kami was meant to reside? They call it Fairy Vearth."

The grin on his face widened and for the first time, Enel truly looked like the madman everyone rightfully thought he was.

"The ground there extends far as the eye can see! Such a dream world is a place perfectly fitting for me!" He shouted to them all, a maniacal gleam in his eye.

The man calmed down from his high and regarded them all like they were insects. "Fighting over Upper Yard… for such trivial amounts of Vearth is a petty triviality."

"Besides, the very existence of a Sky Island is utterly unnatural."

Everyone went still at that ominous statement.

Enel glanced around in disdain. "It was born in the sky but it's not a cloud. It lives in the sky but it's not a bird. This place should not exist! Soil has a place to return to and that is equally true with people and Kami."

Gan Fall felt himself growing cold at the spiel being said by the psychopath.

"You… don't tell me you're?!"

"Yahahaha! Don't act like you're surprised. It's my duty as Kami, to adhere to the province of nature. As such, I'm going to drag down every human from the sky right to where they belong!"

Enel soaked in the stunned silence, watching the shock rip through their body with an amused smile.

Gan Fall's eyes narrowed in rage. "You plan on destroying this nation?! Don't be so conceited! The term "Kami" is only a title for those who govern this nation! None of us are actually divine beings!"

Enel dug a finger into his ear and shrugged. "That was true… up until I showed up."

"The real "Kami" does not exist in this world!" Gan Fall retorted.

"The real "Kami" is me, Former Kami, Gan Fall. I made sure your Divine Squad was aware of that," Enel intoned calmly.

The Knight of the Sky froze at that. "What did you do to my Divine Squad, Enel?!" He snarled in rage.

Enel had the gall to smile. "I had them work on a job for me. They just finished today actually… then I told them of my goals and they attacked me in a rage… pity, all 650 of them fought for what they thought was right but unfortunately, they went against Kami."

"ENEL!" Gan Fall roared, clutching his lance and charging him with fury.

"I was going to let you watch the Sky Island fall, but I've been disappointed by one Kami too many. Perish, Gan Fall," Enel intoned ruthlessly.

He tapped his drums twice and gazed at the Knight of the Sky with cold eyes.

"60 Million Volts: Jamboule."

Gan Fall paused as a giant dragon made of lightning formed and rushed him at incredible speeds. It opened its maw to clamp down on the man in a sure kill move.

"Enel… ENEL!" Gan Fall roared helplessly as he attempted to brace himself in a fruitless attempt.

A hand grabbed the man and yanked him away from the lightning attack before it could fry him from the inside out.

"Be careful, Weird Knight!" Luffy exclaimed, tossing the old man aside and glaring at the unamused Enel.

"Oh? And you are this Luffy, right? The captain of the failed Kami?" The Logia mused, glancing at the scrawny kid with half lidded eyes.

"Yeah, that's right! I'm gonna kick your ass, cheater!" The rubber boy declared.

"Defeat me? Cheater? Is it to avenge Rosan-kun?" Enel asked with a raised brow. "Yahahaha! If he couldn't defeat me, what can you do? Just sit back and watch as this country falls!"

"No, don't wanna," Luffy replied immediately.

Enel's eye twitched.

"Rosan couldn't defeat me, do you think you can?" He asked in a measured tone.

"Yep!" Luffy nodded without hesitation. "You cheated against Rosan! If you didn't, he was gonna kick your ass too!"

Enel felt a frown of deep displeasure form at that.

Cheater? How could Kami be a cheater? He could do whatever he wanted and it would be as the world willed.

That was his privilege. Kami did not cheat. The rules of the world were decided by Kami. If it were his will, then that was the way.

"El Thor."

Luffy balked as the giant beam of electricity quickly soared over to him and the rubber boy braced himself for impact.

Zoro grabbed Chopper's prone body and leapt away from the attack, grunting in pain as half his body suffered some damage and protecting the reindeer in the process.

Robin clenched her teeth and stood in front of Rosan's prone body without any hesitation, using her Raid Suit to prevent both of them from getting too hurt by it.

The woman hissed in pain as her body seized up but she made sure it didn't reach the redhead.

"AHHHHHHHHHhhhhh...hhh...?" Luffy's screams got progressively more unsure as the attack went on, until the rubber boy pursed his lips in confusion.

Enel blinked at seeing Luffy completely unharmed.

"You managed to dodge that?" He muttered, impressed. "Well, no matter. Try and dodge this!"

Robin looked on in slight confusion.

Luffy did not dodge that attack. He was standing directly in front of both her and Rosan so she was able to see that he got hit fully by it.

Then it hit her. It was no wonder Rosan said Luffy could deal with him.

She had thought he meant they would double team him... but no, Rosan had a completely different idea.

"Kiten!" Enel barked, tapping his drum and summoning a giant beast shaped construct of lightning. It took the form of a wolf and began chasing the panicking Luffy.

The rubber boy dodged and weaved the feral beast so he was unable to react in time to Enel appearing directly in front of his path.

"100 Million Volts: Vari!"

The man placed a palm on Luffy's body and repeated the exact same attack he did to Rosan, unleashing a hellish amount of lightning into the rubber boys body.

At the same time, the lightning wolf crashed into the rubber boys body and combined with Enel's already dreadful attack.

"That's… ENOUGH!" Luffy shouted and shoved the man away from him with an annoyed expression.

"W-W-What?!"

Enel's jaw dropped in horror and his eyes bugged in disbelief as he regarded the rubber anomaly in front of him.

"T-That's not possible?! M-My lightning is… but what?" He spluttered.

How was this conceivable? Why were his attacks not working on this strange boy? What was this —

Enel paused as he felt it and if possible, the man's jaw dropped even further in disbelief.

A sudden flicker.

A flicker that very, very swiftly transformed into an overwhelming torrent that threatened to consume everything there.

Robin and Luffy both jolted in shock and glanced behind them with wide eyes.

Enel shakily followed their gaze.

This wasn't… How was this possible?!

HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD? HOW WAS HE EVEN AWAKE?!

Sat up and staring at him with a dangerous look in his brightly glowing eyes, Portgas D. Rosan grinned wildly at the horrified expression on Enel's face.

"Kahahaha! Look at that look on your face!" He cackled, body beginning to swiftly heal from the effects of being shocked. "You finally realized it eh? My cute little brother is completely immune to your abilities!"

Robin felt breathless, as she heard Rosan speak and she gazed at him with wide, mesmerized eyes.

After all, the sheer emotion emanating from him was palpable for the world to see and she could feel that cold and heavy blanket's presence, get significantly weaker.

"Rosan…?" She said quietly, watching as the redhead leapt up with practiced ease, fully healed.

Her best friend's eyes gleamed, as he immediately turned towards her and Rosan scooped Robin up into a crushing hug, unmindful of the fact that he was currently shirtless.

"Sorry for worrying you," he said quietly, noticing how she began shuddering in his hold. "I deserve anything you have to say to me later but I don't regret what I did… but, I think I've figured some things out and now look at me!"

Robin didn't realize she had been shaking until now and hesitantly glanced at him.

Rosan smiled right back before he took notice of her injuries.

The Devil Child watched the smile get wiped off his face and a snarl made its way to his face immediately, bright gaze smoldering with unrestrained fury.

"I'm going to tear him apart," he growled lowly.

Robin was far too stunned to say anything and just took in everything, something that Rosan noticed.

The anger melted off his features and he pulled back a bit so that she could take in the entirety of his emotional visage.

She saw the way his eyes narrowed in worry, she saw the glow of his eyes constantly shifting from brighter to dimmer in time with the emotion he was feeling. She saw as those same eyes actually looked at her as if realizing something for the first time.

Robin didn't realize how much something so little, would affect her because there were tears forming in her eyes.

Rosan was... he was... the redhead was back. Her precious sun was shining right now and already, she felt herself basking in his glow.

"Rosan… It's… The castle has lost another chain!" Mod whispered in shock, tears falling from her eyes.

After Rosan fell unconscious, she (Ram had fallen unconscious as well) had been furiously ensuring that everything was fine with her charge, only to freeze at feeling something changing with the castle.

Wanting to see if the Virus made a move, Mod quickly made her way over to the castle and felt herself fall to her knees in shock at seeing one of the chains unravel from the crystalline structure, leaving just the thickest one left.

Almost at the same time, she felt Rosan awaken and the sheer emotion, brought her to her knees as tears began flowing.

"My little boy…" she whispered, putting a hand over her heart as she threatened to get overwhelmed.

"It lost another chain?!" Robin repeated in shock, gazing into the eyes that glowed brighter then before, getting closer and closer to the magnificent glow that he originally had.

"I realized some things about myself with the help of someone special to us all," Rosan replied easily, eyes glowing with mirth. "It was real eye opening, ya know? I'll tell you guys all about it after I'm done with this narcissist who would use my precious Robin against me."

Robin simply wrapped her arms around his exposed midsection and buried her face in the crook of his neck.

"Be careful… If push comes to shove, please let Luffy deal with him," she begged.

The redhead wrapped a single arm around her waist with a cheerfully unhinged smile. "Kahahaha! Don't worry Robin. When I said I discovered some things, I wasn't kidding," he assured.

Rosan's cheer vanished and was immediately replaced by that dark and infamous anger, as he delicately removed Robin from his grasp.

She shuddered at that look in his eyes. It was same look that promised pain because someone would dare mess with her.

He adopted this look plenty of times in their childhood together. Whenever someone happened to recognize her and made sure she didn't feel human, the redhead would show up and make them realize she was far more human than he was.

To see that it was back... Robin stared at the redhead with assessing eyes and a small smile.

A daunting pressure washed over everyone there and they went stiff as it threatened to crush them to the floor.

"Hey, Luffy. I know I lost but can I get one more shot?" Rosan asked his captain calmly.

Luffy's grin was blinding and he immediately leapt onto his older brother with a cheerful laugh and a tight hug.

"He cheated so yeah! Kick his ass, Rosan!"

The redhead's grin turned feral and he affectionately hugged his youngest brother back. "You bet. I'll be sure to give him some punches for you too."

"That's enough!" Enel barked, sweating a bit as that pressure crashed into him. The Logia shook his head rapidly to gain his composure and scowled at Rosan.

"I don't know how you survived that attack, but don't forget that it only took me two moves to knock you unconscious! You cannot resist my attacks like that weird creature holding on to you."

Enel began glowing blue as he held out a hand to the redhead.

"100 Million Volts: Vari!" he roared.

Everyone watched in horror as the attack once more connected to Rosan and the world turned blue for a moment.

"Can't resist?"

Enel felt a spike of true horror, at that condescending sentence.

"Who decided that?" Rosan mocked, completely unharmed from the man's attack.

Everyone watched as the blue sparks coursing across his shirtless body, shifted into a royal purple color, before finally settling on crimson red instead.

"Yes, this is a good color," he thought to himself with a cocky grin.

"Thanks for the meal Enel. You managed to charge me all up."

Robin's confusion at how Rosan was suddenly able to do that, only lasted a moment as the realization hit her exactly like with Luffy.

"He's a computer man!" she gasped. "Come to think of it, lightning should have been the easiest element for him to control… but his trauma must have been holding him back!"

"Bingo~" Rosan sang through their connection, red lightning running rampant through the air as he effortlessly manipulated it. "Why should I as a computer, ever be afraid by something that should empower me? I should have figured this out long ago but my PTSD stopped me..."

"But not anymore," he promised, glaring at Enel with the fury of a thousand suns.

The redhead flexed his gorgeous black wings and began soaring towards the petrified Enel, eyes glowing with murderous intent.

"You've managed to royally piss me off, Enel. By the time I'm done with you, you're silly dreams of being Kami will come crashing down and you'll be praying to me," he called out confidently.

Enel regained his bearings after hearing that and tensed.

"It doesn't matter if he can resist my attacks, he can't touch me! I'll take this chance to regain my mantra."

"Shinigami, Devil, Dragon... I have many titles but I am first and foremost a computer man," Rosan informed them all.

The Kami couldn't help but furrow his brows at that.

"What on earth is a computer—"

A fist planted itself directly on his face and Enel felt his features cave in, as he rocketed through a wall with absolute crushing force. It shattered effortlessly at the hellishly strong punch and his eyes flickered.

Rosan, who's arm had a slight sheen to it, grinned at the blood flying through the air and resisted the urge to lick his dangerously sharp fangs. "Didn't I say I figured some things out? I'm sick and tired of you fucking Logia's thinking you're all invincible because you can't be touched. Now let's see how arrogant you are when you're up against someone better than you."

Zoro's eyes widened in recognition. "No way, did you just?!"

Robin gasped. "Armament?!'

Luffy's eyes bugged. "WHAT?! NO WAY!"

Rosan threw his head back and laughed psychotically. "Kahahaha! I'm 2 for 3 now, you guys. Who's in last place now, huh? No more bragging against me!"

Enel threw up blood as he coughed on his hands and knees. "How did he hit me?! What was that? What is this Armament that they speak about… is it the same as that other term they use… Haki?!"

Footsteps made him rapidly glance up just in time for a kick to plant itself into his gut that sent him tumbling against the floor repeatedly.

The redhead smirked maliciously, applying Armament to both his arms and legs repeatedly until he nodded to himself.

"Alright, I've got the hang of it!" Rosan announced.

"Already?!" Robin asked in disbelief, gazing at the redhead with an annoyed expression.

"Yup," he said, gazing back at her with an insufferable smirk.

She hated this battle genius. He and Luffy were on another level when it came to picking up skills.

"You love me," he chimed.

She sighed with a fond smile.

"Ram, wake your ass up! It's time for battle!" Rosan suddenly barked, making his ring transform into a set of gloves before cracking his knuckles.

Ram shot up at that command, eyes glancing around wildly. "I'm up! I'm up! Where's the action?! Why did Father sound so awesome when he said that?!"

"Because I'm awesome. Now look alive. We've got a fun fight ahead of us."

Ram grinned violently. She didn't know what the hell was going on but her Father gave an order so it was showtime.

She was the best supporting actor for all his performances after all.

"As you wish, Father!"

"Mark my words Enel, I'm going to make you regret trying to kill Robin… by the end of this fight, you'll know true fear."

The redhead's eyes glowed ominously as Enel struggled to stand.

"Everyone who has faced the Angel of Death, Reaper, has understood fear in due time. Now I will teach you the meaning of fear but not as an Angel... no I'm going to teach you as the Devil."
