Insanity I

"Woah! When did you fix the ship?!" Usopp gaped in awe, looking at the copy of the original Going Merry with an impressed gaze.

It didn't even have the chicken design anymore! Rosan sure was effective!

"Last night," Robin grumbled much to the amusement of the redhead.

He gazed at her and snorted before allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder, an offer she took with a pleased sigh.

"Try not to damage it anymore," Rosan advised, remembering his conversation with Merry last night.

If she suffered anymore damage, she'd sink. It would be best if they avoided that outcome…

Well, he'd tell them after suggesting they see a shipwright. If he had the shipwright's words supporting his claims, it'd be easier to digest.

Rosan was no expert on ships and he made that clear so they'd find it hard-pressed to believe his words.

People in denial, found it hard to listen to logic because people in denial relied on emotion and he didn't feel like dealing with that. Rosan was a little too blunt and inconsiderate to let someone know gently that something bad was happening.

That was for later though. For now they would focus on retrieving the gold and increasing their funds without milking Rosan's safe.

They would split up into two teams. One would be the search team and the other would be the escape team.

The search team would take steps to find and secure the gold that was on Upper Yard, while the escape team would take the ship and find an exit route.

The search team consisted of Rosan, Robin, Chopper, Luffy and Zoro while the escape team consisted of Sabo, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Maro, Angel and Demon.

Robin and Rosan were the best at finding things (next to Nami but she was too afraid to go) and they were also the most patient… so they had the luxury of escorting the dumb powerhouses known as Luffy and Zoro.

"With these guys, I feel unstoppable!" Chopper thought to himself cheerfully as they waltzed through the forest together.

He was with some of the strongest in the crew! Robin and Rosan disappeared often so it felt really cool to actually be traveling with them!

"ZORO WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! WEST IS THIS WAY!" Luffy shouted out in disbelief. "Seriously, you have no sense of direction," the captain muttered.

"WHAT?! IT'S SOUTH? THE SKULL IS IN THE RIGHT EYE THOUGH SO WE GO RIGHT!" Zoro roared back.

"They're both going the wrong way," Robin muttered, glancing at the two with a bit of disbelief.

"I don't get how they can be so stupid and so confident," Rosan replied calmly. "Chopper can you tell them to just follow us, please?"

The reindeer nodded enthusiastically and dragged the two idiots over to their location.

"Oh, we're supposed to go South? Why didn't you say so!" Luffy laughed. The rubber boy waved a stick that he managed to find around and hummed a terrible tune to himself.

"Woah! That's an awesome stick, Luffy!" Chopper awed, looking repeatedly for his own.

"Shishishi! It's nice right? But you can't have it because it's mine!" The greedy captain laughed. He began poking and prodding everything with his fantastic stick while whistling happily.

"What is it with hyperactive boys and sticks?" Robin muttered. Rosan was much the same as a child… He loved to find random rocks or sticks and Modify them.

Was this a normal thing? Zoro was obsessed with swords so maybe he was the same way...

"Man's first instinct, is to find a weapon to defend themselves with," Rosan replied wisely.

"...Don't use such a wise quote to justify this behavior," Zoro sweatdropped.

Chopper continued to unsuccessfully look for a stick, before one was placed right in front of him. The reindeer glanced up to see that it was Rosan himself giving him the stick and his eyes glittered.

"For me?!" He asked in awe, tentatively reaching his hand out to grasp it.

"A good stick is hard to get hold of… I used to cheat all the time as a kid," Rosan replied.

Chopper squealed in excitement and said, "Thanks Rosan!" Before following in Luffy's footsteps and poking everything.

"You are honestly so adorable," Mod gushed at her charge.

"I agree. It's unbelievable how cute you still are," Robin smiled.

"I could turn into a better stick," Ram grumbled in jealousy.

Rosan simply rolled his eyes and continued his trek. "Quiet down all of you. Let me do my good deed of the month."

They all laughed at that.

Rosan? Good deed? Yeah right.

"Watch it," he warned.

"This forest isn't as scary as I thought!" Chopper exclaimed boldly, taking the lead with a pep in his step.

"Yeah, I wanted to run into something dangerous," Luffy sighed in disappointment.

"Please don't say things like that when Rosan's around," Robin requested, already expecting something disastrous to happen now.

Zoro and Chopper perked up at that. "Why?" They asked.

Rosan hummed. "Because I don't believe in fate, Robin is convinced that it's out to get me. Whenever someone tempts it around me, things seem to go bad. I disagree heavily with that notion. Even if I don't say anything, it would still happen no? I just happen to say it right before an event in this extremely dangerous world happens," he explains.

"Robin's right though!" Luffy agreed immediately.

"I'm glad you agree with me... but you're just as bad, Luffy," Robin sweatdropped.

The rubber boy ignored her completely.

"I think it's awesome! Moving around with Rosan is always fun because of it!" He exclaimed.

Robin sighed. "Fun is one way to put it. It happens so consistently, I actually believe fate exists just to prove him wrong."

"It doesn't exist. We choose what happens with our own lives," Rosan retorted calmly.

The swordsman and doctor sweatdropped. "You guys are exaggerating. It can't be that bad—"

Everyone paused as a massive shadow loomed over them and they glanced up at the sea king sized snake responsible for it.

"See?" Robin sighed, unbothered by the massive snake.

"...A coincidence. It would have shown up regardless of if I were here or not," Rosan muttered, utterly unfazed by the creature leering down at them.

----------------------------------------

"ROBIN AND LUFFY ALREADY UNLOCKED THEIR OBSERVATION?!" Maro roared, fury painted on her features at that as she stamped her feet on the deck.

Goddammit! This was because they got to travel around and fight! Dammit all! She needed to get the one up on them and fast.

"Yeah, while fighting one of the Priests," Usopp muttered, backing away at the indignant fury on the Queen's face.

The woman actually growled, much to the sniper's concern, before sobering up quickly out of nowhere.

"Master still has nothing?" She asked curiously.

"No, he helped those two unlock their own but never got his," Sanji said calmly. He felt like he had been pretty close to unlocking his own… maybe he should join the training with them...

The Dokkaebi grumbled a bit but settled down at that. "At least I'm not the only one… I'll try and unlock it against my opponent then..."

"You're all way too competitive and you dragged poor Robin into it too," Nami sighed with a shake of her head.

"You're telling me," Demon groaned. "I'm the one who suffers the most from their competitive streak. I've had to patch them up more times then I can remember and they just get right back into it. It's a never ending cycle"

Maniacs, all of them.

"It must be hard being the normal one with a family full of psychos." Nami touched his shoulder sympathetically.

"At some point, you stop being normal yourself... but according to them, I was never normal," the doctor sighed.

"I would ask what you mean... but I think I understand," Nami muttered and the rest of the Straw Hats nodded sagely.

"Oh, that reminds me!" Angel gasped, grabbing onto Nami and Maro and dragging them to the girl's quarters.

The men watched them go with tilted heads before shrugging.

"How's the progress?" The redhead asked in a hushed tone as soon as she shut the door.

"Any luck?" Maro jumped in, eyes glittering in curiosity.

Nami pursed her lips a bit in confusion. "Honestly, it's pretty hard to tell since they already act like a couple... but I did hear something really important!"

The two perked up at that and leaned forward eagerly.

"I'm sure you two already know they kissed," Nami began, getting nods out of them.

"We saw it. It was the lewdest thing I've ever seen. Do you know he grabbed her ass?" Angel chimed with red dusting her cheeks.

"Master was relentless… I didn't even know he could kiss that well. I was afraid they were gonna run out of breath," Maro sighed in disbelief, blushing rosily at the memory.

"You and me both," the redhead muttered in despair.

Seriously, they thought their emotionless Master was innocent! Sure they knew he had the occasional fling with Makino, b-but they just assumed she did everything!

Clearly not... Angel's face turned white in horror before she vowed to murder Makino once more.

Nami sweatdropped at the two. Robin had been pretty tame when describing it but that was just her personality... Then again, these two liked to exaggerate...

Oh well, judging by the red on both their cheeks, there was plenty of truth to their words.

"Well, besides that, I heard them talking the other day!" Nami informed them, smiling at the memory. "Rosan was upset because he thought he ruined Robin's chances of finding someone to love and you know what Robin said to that?"

"What?! What?!" Maro grinned eagerly.

What? She became a bit of a gossip over the years! Some of her soldiers picked up on it and she overheard them all the time! Hearing about what her people were up to, always put a smile on her face.

"She said, if she ever wants to settle down with anyone in the future, she'll just stay with Rosan!" The navigator replied, smiling in a pleased manner at that.

"!" Their eyes widened at that and they glanced at each other with large smiles.

"Perfect!" They both squealed excitedly.

"I was listening in and they were talking about all the things they wanted to do when they eventually settled down," the navigator explained, recalling the conversation right before they arrived to Skypiea.

"That's so cute!" Angel gushed with a pleased grin. At the very least, they'd be together for the years they lost.

"Now we just need them both to fall in love…" Maro mused with a smile at how adorable the two were.

"I think it's bound to happen eventually… but I want it to happen now," Angel muttered with a fire in her eyes.

Nami laughed at that. "You guys are scary but I see where your coming from… I've never seen two people act like a blatant couple and then deny it...," she pointed out.

The two Queens grinned at that. "They're both stupid," Maro laughed.

"Master would probably fall in love and not pursue it because he's such a dumbass," Angel sighed.

The navigator nodded her head at that accurate assessment. "Between the three of us... I've been seeing the looks they shoot each other when one isn't looking. I think they'll fall in love sooner rather than later... Rosan really likes her," she added her two cents.

Angel smiled a sad smile. "That's all I want for my big brother... I'm so glad that he's opening his heart up to even one person. He's relying on Robin in a way I haven't seen in so long."

Maro nodded with a fond smile herself. "I've never seen it. He loves Mod-chan... but it's different to see him relying on someone he isn't practically one and the same with... it makes me feel wistful."

Nami gazed at the two wives and felt her determination flare. "Don't worry... I'll do my best to protect what those two have and I'm sure everyone else in the crew is the same. We'll save Rosan!" She said in determination.

Angel couldn't stop the glistening in her eyes and pulled the two into a deep hug. "Thank you... I know Master doesn't want to open his heart to you all yet, but no one deserves it more than this crew."

Maro smiled warmly. "Master is looking for a reason to live and right now he's beginning to think it's Robin... but one day I hope he realizes it's so many more people."

"He's an idiot so we'll make him realize!" Nami beamed.

Satisfied with their meeting, the three women stood up to go back out to the deck.

"What were you guys talking about in there?" Usopp asked curiously. They heard them squeal once but other then that, the conversation was mostly silent.

"Girl stuff," Angel replied smoothly.

Those words managed to immediately quell their curiosity and Nami looked at the redhead with an impressed gaze.

She'd have to remember that for the future.

"So tell me about the Priest you found," Maro said next, grinning excitedly. "I'm gonna kick his and anyone who interferes ass when the time comes because I need to fight someone decent!"

Sabo gripped his chin in contemplation. "I couldn't tell you much because I defeated him in one hit… but his name was Shura and he had a fire breathing bird that I wanted to give to you."

Maro perked up at that. "A fire breathing bird? For me? Hmmm I have a lot of impressive pets so this one is up against tough competition but I'll see for myself!"

They sweatdropped at her claims and Angel shook her head at the idea that Maro could potentially be getting yet another pet.

Greedy Dokkaebi…

The sound of flapping sufficiently distracted them and they glanced up to see the Knight of the Sky himself riding his trusty pegasus.

The old man glanced at them all and indicated his hand towards the ship.

"If I may?" Gan Fall asked, causing the crew to nod without complaint.

The former Kami of Skypiea landed gently on the deck and glanced at them all.

"Thank you for your hospitality… As thanks, would it be a bother to tell you all about what exactly is going on in Skypiea?" Gan Fall asked.

"Who the fuck cares? Actually, who the hell is this Old Man?" Angel mouthed to Maro, who slightly bonked her rude wife on the head.

"Behave Angel. He's... um... Actually I dunno who he is either."

"S-See?!" The redhead whined, holding her head at the bonk.

"That would be nice," Nami said, stifling her laughter at the silent conversation between the wives.

The Knight nodded before noticing that a few people were missing.

"Where are the rest of your crewmates?" He asked curiously.

Sanji sighed. "Probably getting in trouble somewhere. They have the three biggest trouble magnets in the crew with them after all… hopefully Robin-chan is alright with those idiots."

"It hasn't even been that long," Usopp laughed in exasperation. "There's no way they found trouble already!"

A loud snort brought their attention to the Celadon trio.

"You underestimate Master and Luffy," Angel said sagely.

"Those two are chaos incarnate. Where they go, trouble follows," Demon nodded along.

"It makes it most fun to travel with them! I guess when you're those two, you don't run into trouble, you create it!" Maro cackled, stretching her back with a loud pop. "Now, I want to invite some trouble myself! Sabo, can you feel the stupid priest who would dare to hurt my Devil Fruit sibling?"

Sabo glanced up at that and nodded, pointing in a direction. "Over there, he's about to engage with some of those Guerrilla guys."

The Queen grinned in a feral manner and the group watched as she waved her hand and a giant wooden club appeared in it.

"Perfect! Escaping isn't really my thing y'know? All those people are just asking for a good ol beat down, courtesy of yours truly!" She beamed, blue flames beginning to surround her.

"What are you planning on doing?" Usopp asked warily, balking at the violent weapon and the violent flames.

"Me? I'm gonna go fight of course! I gotta work hard to unlock my Haki!" The Queen beamed eagerly.

"She's just as insane as they are!" They thought in disbelief.

"Be careful," Angel said, not looking remotely worried for her wife's well being.

"Don't be as reckless as Rosan is when it comes to unlocking your Haki," Sanji said worriedly.

"No promises!" She shouted, tensing her strong legs and leaping high into the air. "Don't wait up for me!"

With that, the blues flames covered her entire body, not leaving any sight of her visible, and when it dispersed, she was gone.

"I don't actually know what her Devil Fruit lets her do…" Nami mused. Blue flames? She never saw that from the Dokkaebi not to mention she just vanished once they consumed her.

"Maro's Devil Fruit is absurd," Demon replied helpfully. "It's a Mythical Zoan so she's granted an array of abilities pertaining to that of a Dokkaebi besides the transformation aspect."

Sabo nodded. "Mythical Zoans are considered the best class of Devil Fruit for a reason."

Gan Fall sweatdropped at them all. "I didn't even mention Sky Battles or the use of Dials to her before she rocketed off."

Angel waved him off. "Don't worry, Master gave us the rundown of some dials already and Maro is smart. It won't slow her down."

Gan Fall sweatdropped harder.

The one with Black Wings was not to be underestimated it seemed.

----------------------------------------

"RUN! IT'S A GIANT SNAKE!" Luffy screamed excitedly, grinning ear to ear as he sprinted from the massive snake hunting them down.

"WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Chopper squealed in horror. Tears of terror fell from the reindeer's eyes as he ran for his life.

"It's huge…" Robin remarked as she dashed away from the giant snake. Was it because of the air environment of the Sky Island?

"It's just a big catfish!" Zoro barked, trying for a slash and failing at the speed of the giant snake.

"Would it even get full off of eating us?" Rosan muttered as he leapt high onto a branch.

"P-PLEASE DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT!" Chopper squealed.

Robin saw that they were making no progress and said, "Let's all do a strategic retreat and regroup?"

"Retreat? For what?" Rosan asked in confusion.

Before anyone else could answer, the snake decided to make that decision for them, using it's long body to dart across the clearing and attempting to sink its fangs into them.

They all leapt in opposite directions and when they noticed the snake's poison melting the tree, they decided that fighting this thing was not worth the time it would take.

With that, they all scattered and vowed to meet up on the same path again…

Well, all except for one.

Rosan stared at the snake with a tilted head and simply said, "Why did they run?"

Honestly, they always made such big deals out of such little things. He couldn't believe Robin got roped into Luffy's energy.

----------------------------------------

"What? I take my eyes off of them for one second and they get lost?" Zoro muttered in disbelief, glancing back and forth and noticing that none of his crew was there.

The swordsman shook his head in exasperation.

"Whatever, they can manage on their own. Since I've got the map memorized… I just need to go right," he said, nodding to himself.

With that, the swordsman walked off in the completely wrong direction.

----------------------------------------

"AHHHH I GOT SEPARATED FROM EVERYONE!" Chopper squealed in horror.

The reindeer was in walk point and he repeatedly glanced around in hopes that he could find anyone, terror only growing as he realized no one was in sight.

"WHERE IS EVERYONE!" He cried.

----------------------------------------

Luffy sighed in exasperation. "Those guys really got lost? Oh well. I'll just go ahead and wait at the ruins."

The rubber boy exhaled at their stupidity and glanced in a direction nodding to himself.

"Due South means I go in the warmer direction so it's that way!"

----------------------------------------

"Oh dear, it seems like I'm the only one on the right path," Robin mused, cupping her cheek as she contemplated what to do.

No one was here except for her and that was rather concerning… considering Luffy and Zoro were apart of their group.

They'd be fine, they were strong.

She could just wait at the ruins… the thought of exploring it was far too tempting and Robin decided she would do that.

Closing her eyes in concentration, the woman used her blooming observation to try and get a feel where everyone was, smiling at being able to detect them.

That smile turned into a confused expression.

"Why is Rosan at the same spot?"

----------------------------------------

Rosan sat atop the terrified snake with a bored expression on his face, idly drawing circles on the top of its head with a very sharp katana.

The bruised snake whimpered at that but didn't dare try to infuriate the monster.

"See? You didn't have to be so difficult," the redhead admonished, transforming Ram back into her ring and patting the snake. "You got my crew all scattered around the area… that's not very nice, don't you think?"

The giant serpent shuddered at that tone and wisely stayed silent.

"I don't understand how you consistently manage to terrify so many animals."

Mod's voice was full of exasperation and amusement at the sight of Rosan successfully dominating the snake.

"No one wants to get on a dragon's bad side, not even an animal."

"Let's not cause any more problems for my allies again and I'll let you go free, okay?" Rosan hummed, standing up and stretching idly.

The snake nodded so rapidly, the redhead nearly thought its head was about to fall off.

"Good. Remember, don't attack any one of the people you saw here or else I'll deal with you."

Rosan flexed his angelic wings and floated off the Snake's head, waving goodbye and watching it slither away at blistering speeds.

What a polite snake. Such a shame it was so massive, he'd have loved to give it to Maro or Aiko… he was pretty sure Aiko loved snakes.

"She is terrified of them and you know that. Please don't kill your older sister figure by showing her such a large snake."

She wouldn't die… she'd just catch a heart attack probably… okay perhaps that was too far. What animals did Aiko like? Her birthday should be coming up soon so he should get her a gift.

"She hates animals."

Right… she did didn't she?

"You know a lot about Aiko… Did her comments on your figure give you a crush? You already know what that means."

"You unbelievable little brat! I'm beginning to think you are actually serious on your ban!"

"Yes. You cannot date because then that person would think you belong to them and then I'd have to kill them."

Mod spluttered at that. "I genuinely can't believe you sometimes. Do you understand that if I were anyone else, they'd have protested such maniacal behavior from you?"

Rosan shrugged. "You're not anyone else."

"You shouldn't be so possessive of Mod-chan, Rosan. People will get the wrong idea. You two already don't look like Mother and Son anymore. The world will begin to think you're going around collecting pretty women," Robin laughed amusement clear as day.

They would have ideas of him dating Mod-chan? If that's what their thought process was when he eventually managed to bring Mod-chan to the real world… that was all the better for him. He didn't feel like killing someone daily.

Even he would get tired of it.

Mod blushed bright red and spluttered at her foolish son. Did he even hear himself? He wouldn't dissuade the notion of them dating?! What was wrong with him?!

"I genuinely have no words for you, Rosan."

"I suppose it's not the worst idea. Mod-chan will never be far from you anyways," Robin mused.

"I approve!" Ram beamed.

"WHY ARE YOU ALL DOING THIS TO ME?!"

He cracked a small smile at that before focusing on Robin. "Why did you run off?I dealt with that snake."

"I found that it was more trouble then it was worth to deal with so I left… perhaps that wasn't the smartest idea because I feel Zoro and Luffy going in completely opposite directions."

Rosan snorted at that. "They'll be fine, I'm on my way to you."

"I'll be heading to the ruins, I'm curious about its contents."

"Boring."

Robin's eye twitched a bit. "You're free to not come. It'd be better for my mentality if I didn't have you calling me a nerd every few seconds while I explore."

"But that's the fun part."

Was that amusement? That was definitely amusement radiating off the redhead.

"Also, I get the feeling you'll get upset if I actually don't show up... so I will."

She hated him.

"Goodbye, Rosan. You can just fly here, I'm going to save myself the headache for the next few minutes at the very least."

The redhead cracked another smile at that. "Yes, boss. Maybe I'll go make sure Chopper is fine. He's been jittery the whole time."

"You do that… better then you harassing me at the moment."

She cut the connection and the redhead left out an exhale of amusement before flexing his wings and taking off.

He'd send a bird to find Chopper, poking fun at Robin seemed too good to pass up right now.

----------------------------------------

Wyper stared at his rightful homeland in the distance, a stony expression on his face.

"Right now may be our only chance to retake what's ours," he began gruffly.

"If you don't have the resolve to risk it all, you may stay behind. I will hold no grudges towards you. Only those who are willing to leave behind fallen comrades in the pursuit of victory, are allowed to come."

The man's stony expression turned stormy and he bit his cigarette nearly in half.

"Today, Enel's head will roll."

----------------------------------------

Enel yawned as he lazily bit into a banana.

"Things are getting interesting," he grinned in amusement.

Yama and the 50 heavenly guards were down in Upper Yard, the Shandians were on the move… and the Blue Sea dwellers added three other people to their group somehow.

The Kami of Skypiea was momentarily confused for a moment, considering he couldn't actually feel two of them (he could hear them) but it was clear that the two he couldn't feel weren't fighters so he'd disregard them for now.

With all the additions, the game of survival was shaping up to be fun!

Even now, one of the new Blue Sea dwellers was en route to run into both Shura and the Shandians.

"Enel-sama, what will you do during this game of survival?" One of his attendants asked.

"Shahahaha! Me?" Enel asked in return, finishing off his banana with an amused smile.

"I think I'll go pay someone a visit soon."

----------------------------------------

Maro grinned violently as she soared through the air, using her flames to propel her forward.

That grin turned into confusion as she abruptly stopped moving. The Queen tried to scratch her head at that but found that she couldn't move her limbs either.

"So you're the one who wants to defeat me?" A voice asked in amusement. "And how do you plan on doing that when you've already been caught in my string challenge?"

Shura glanced at the Queen with a look of disdain on his face. "I have no business with you but if killing you brings out that wretched one who caught me off guard… then I'd be more then happy to teach you a lesson."

The man gripped his spear and stood tall on Fuza. "Welcome to the String Challenge with a survival rate of 3%! I have invisible strings placed all over the area that slowly but surely latch onto you, making you unable to move!"

He dashed forward to the vulnerable queen, weapon poised to stab and lunged forward.

That plan was quickly aborted as his target was consumed in blue fire that nearly caught him.

"Hmmm, how can I unlock my Haki against this guy?" Maro pondered.

She wouldn't be using her Raid Suit. The Dokkaebi was already durable but with that suit, she became a living tank, able to ignore just about everything thrown at her and retaliate with devastating strength.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Maro was actually the most durable in her family! That didn't mean she could endure the most damage though... that honor belonged to the psychopathic freaks known as Master and Luffy.

Master weathered attacks like he didn't even notice them, despite the visible damage you could see being done to his body. It was like fighting a Goddamn zombie and it was actually really creepy... she could only imagine how other people fought him knowing most of their attacks were working... but he just healed everything back up.

As for Luffy... that idiot was just too tenacious and stubborn! He refused to stay down until he won! He was as insane as Master was and Maro had no doubt if he had the same regenerative capabilities, those two would be the exact same in battle.

But she digressed... No Raid Suit… she was doing this the old fashioned way… good thing she was wearing a battle kimono today.

She also couldn't go invisible, considering she didn't have her crown and illusions wouldn't be too effective against Observation...

He used strings, eh? That sounded like it was going to be annoying but she could probably break out of them with some effort...

Shura watched in some disbelief as the beautiful queen flexed her muscles and tore off the string restraining her. She then glanced at him and tensed, before rocketing off towards him, club in hand.

He gripped his lance and charged her again, activating the heat dial function and clashing with the queen.

That was a mistake. His eyes widened as his own formidable strength immediately crumpled underneath Maro's and the Priest immediately disengaged, flying up high with Fuza.

"Such immense strength," he thought warily.

The Dokkaebi's eyes narrowed at that and with a burst of flames, she immediately pursued.

"Fuza!" Shura shouted and his bird immediately opened its mouth to shoot out a torrent of flames that washed over the Dokkaebi…

Only for her to burst through it without any visible injury, beelining for him with a single minded determination.

Shura's eyes widened in disbelief.

Who was this person? They were not apart of the original group of Blue Sea dwellers that they had pictures of but seemed to possess strength that would make any of the Priests worry!

Enel-sama hadn't seemed worried about her... but meeting them in person showed Shura that he couldn't underestimate this foe.

The woman showed up out of nowhere, wielding strength that he wouldn't want to face head on.

He remembered his defeat against Sabo and scowled deeply.

Maro reached her target in record time and gripped Daisy, before swinging with crushing force at the Priest.

The queen let out a confused noise at not seeing him dodge or die from the attack.

No, instead he just pulled out one of those dial things... and absorbed it?

"Huh?" She muttered, before a palm rested on her belly.

"I don't normally use these, but I need to use everything at my disposal if I want to beat that blue sea dweller," Shura muttered in annoyance.

"Impact."

Maro's eyes flickered and she spat out a glob of blood, as her own monstrous strength was used against her.

Shura couldn't help but balk at the power of the Impact Dial, as Maro went soaring away from him, plummeting at unbelievable speeds until she crashed and nearly bent a massive tree off it's roots.

"Such enormous strength," he muttered in disbelief.

Were they all capable of defeating him in one blow? If that connected, he would have suffered concussive damage.

No... his head would have been crushed to a pulp.

Absurd. It was a good thing she had no idea what an Impact Dial was. Her own hubris was her undoing.

Such a shame… she was rather attractive too. He wouldn't have minded more time with her.

Well, no matter. He could currently feel the Shandians fast approaching so the Priest of Strings set up some of his traps once more in preparation to execute them all.

Shura didn't need to wait long for them to show up and at the yells of surprise, he sighed with a shake of his head.

Idiots. After this, he'd go find and deal with that blue sea blonde. None of these people were worth his time, so now it was time for payback…

Or that was the plan, but it seemed like one of them managed to avoid getting caught by his strings.

"Wyper!" The Shandians shouted in relief.

The violent man snarled at them and ignored them momentarily, focusing fully on Shura.

Before anyone could say anything, a roar of blue flames completely consumed the gigantic tree that Shura's "defeated" opponent landed on.

The Priest himself felt his eyes go wide, at watching a battered Maro stand up with a toothy grin.

B...But how?!

There was blood dripping from a head wound and her kimono was ripped in places but she looked completely unbothered.

"I haven't been hit like that in a while!" The Queen grinned, sharp fangs on display. "Figures that a power that absorbs and rebounds my strength would do it! You're so strong, Maro!"

"What in the world…" Shura muttered in disbelief. The energy in that Impact Dial would have been more then enough to take out any of the Priests. Such was the strength behind the initial blow this blue haired woman charged it with.

Combined with the fall from such a massive height… there was no way she should even be alive right now.

So how on earth was she standing?!

Maro idly rubbed a hand against her belly and hummed in contemplation.

That blow did internal damage… He also managed to hit her on the right side too.

Internal or no, her left side was completely immune to blows (unless you used Haki… but once she learned armament she'd be a true tank!). It didn't matter what connected on the left, Maro wouldn't be affected by it.

Such was her privilege of being a Dokkaebi. It was awesome and she would forever cherish Master for entrusting this fruit to her.

Glancing back up, the Queen assessed the new arrivals and frowned.

Who the hell were these people?

"Hey, the fuck are you doing? Don't even think about interfering with my fight!" she demanded, gazing at the angry looking dude wearing just a skirt.

Wyper's glare deepened and he turned his attention towards the injured blue haired blue sea dweller.

"Stay out of our business or else," he warned coldly.

Maro raised a brow incredulously at the audacity being displayed by this weakling. "Aren't you way too damn weak to be making demands out of me? At the very least, you should be bowing in respect because of the fact I haven't turned you into paste yet! If you have any self preservation skills, you'll go free your allies and stay out of my way!" She sneered.

Wyper's gaze darkened.

"You talk big for someone so weak. If you value your lives, you'll get out of my sight."

"I'm getting real tired of you Blue Sea dwellers," the Shandian said lowly.

Maro's scowl was out in full force. "Woe is me! Cry about it to someone who gives a shit!"

The woman summoned her club and stared him down with a warning gaze. "Last warning before I stop being the benevolent Queen. Get your trapped allies and go, or I'm taking the both of you out and I decide what happens to your friends afterwards."

Shura simply gripped his lance and activated the heat function.

Wyper grabbed his bazooka.

The Queen let out an exaggerated shrug of sympathy, and put a hand over her heart to pay respects to them.

"I tried to help you. Now I'm probably gonna look like the bad guy when I'm finished here," she sighed forlornly.

Maro grinned dangerously.

"Oh well! It wouldn't be the first time. Being a Queen isn't easy!"

A foreboding aura washed over everyone there and they could only watch as before their very eyes, the sole woman there began to change.

She shot up from 5'10 to a staggering 8 ft, muscles bulging, skin turning green and pale hair growing past her butt.

A glowing orange gaze, lacking irises, looked up at them and a serrated maw snarled revealing all its white serrated teeth.

Not a single person was able to withhold a shudder, as the terrifying and unknown creature gazed at them all as if they were nothing but prey. wd

"A Zoan?!" Shura gaped. She wielded that much power in her normal form?! Just who was this woman?

What type of monster did she just transform into? What on earth was that?!

Maro was finished speaking. The hulking Dokkaebi grabbed Daisy and vanished from her spot.

Wyper only had a moment to throw up his shield to block the swing.

It only held up for half a second before Maro's enormous strength crumpled his defense like it were made of paper. With almost no effort at all, Wyper was launched across the clearing and only had a moment to right himself with his skates, before he crashed into a tree.

"Absurd," he thought in disbelief, glancing at the monster with rage coursing through his veins.

By now, Maro focused her attention back on Shura and leapt at him, club at the ready.

Shura, knowing that her strength was even further amplified, had no intention of being hit by her. The man activated his string clouds and had them wrap around her, getting a snarl of irritation out of the Monster.

Before she could break out, the man had Fuza fly forward so that he could stab forward with his heat lance, aiming directly for her heart.

He grinned at the victorious attack, but that turned into confusion, at watching it fail to even dent her skin. In fact, it felt like his lance got the worst of that exchange and he gazed at the creature in disbelief.

His Mantra alerted him quickly to the attack poised to end his life and he hastily had his bird fly away, just in time to avoid the unique blue flames.

Once again, his Mantra went off and he weaved to the right, avoiding the bazooka's fire and glaring at the furious Wyper.

Turning towards the Shandian, Shura looked to make flight to deal with the ant, but a wall of flames cut him off.

"Who told you to take your eyes off of me? You were having so much fun ogling me before," a voice snarled.

His eyes bugged at the sight of Maro floating right next to him. He was about to fly away but the Dokkaebi's next action, halted that plan right in its tracks.

Maro gripped Fuza's head in the palm of her gigantic hands and without any hesitation, she began dragging it down to the floor at increasingly faster speeds.

Fuza squawked in panic and tried to struggle, opening its mouth to fire flames at the Dokkaebi and shrieking in terror as Maro's grip didn't falter for even a second, wholly unbothered by the flames

Shura only had a moment to jump off his bird before Maro crashed its head into the dirt with a brutal snap, breaking its neck and subsequently, ending its life with one move.

"F-FUZA!" The Priest shouted in disbelief, looking at the Dokkaebi toss the corpse of his partner away in disbelief.

"Sleep little birdie… I don't think I want you on second thought," she murmured, getting up from her crouched position and idly flexing her hand.

The Priest glared at her in rage. "How dare you do that to Fuza?! I'll have your head, you bitch!" He snarled.

"Punishment for not paying attention to me. Now you're outta your comfort zone," Maro grunted, utterly unbothered by his language.

"You think you have the advantage because you took me out of the sky?" He asked in disbelieved amusement.

The Dokkaebi snorted (it sounded more like a guttural snarl). "You aren't the first sky specialist I fought and you damn sure ain't the strongest. If you can't even beat me up there, what can you do down here?" she laughed.

She had been fighting Master for 12 years now and he almost always took to the skies in their battles. This man who relied on his birds and silly string tricks was in way out of his league.

Though, that Observation Haki of his was very annoying. She'd need to tread carefully... but at the same time, not immediately end the battle.

She needed to get her Haki after all. She could just tell that she was so close. Training had been doing wonders for her but she needed one final push and she'd get it here and now.

The ground crunched beneath her, as she dashed forward, club at the ready as she chose to engage the man in close combat.

It was as frustrating as she expected it to be.

A precise swing to the leg was leapt away from and Shura retaliated with a stab forward that failed to do any damage to her.

She went in for another swing and made sure to summon a wall of flames to stop him from retreating. The blue fire, despite its heat, didn't burn any of the shrubbery in the area and Maro would have preened over her mastery of it, if she weren't focused on the fight at hand.

Shura's eyes narrowed as the blow nearly connected and he immediately countered it by placing an impact dial in its path, absorbing the blow and storing it.

"Tch." Maro grunted as his string clouds came into play and latched onto her, preventing her from moving for a split second that he swiftly took advantage of.

The Priest swiftly closed the gap between him and the monstrous creature and placed the impact dial on her body once more.

"Impact."

The Dokkaebi was forcefully detached from the strings, by the strength behind her own attack being redirected towards her and she flew into yet another unfortunate tree that nearly collapsed under the weight of the behemoth.

She got up much quicker this time due to being unaffected by this one and Shura's shock was becoming more palpable.

"What is that durability? She is suddenly able to weather any blow I deal to her!"

What type of boost did transforming give her?!

He wasn't able to dwell on it, due to Wyper making his presence known once more behind him.

The Shandian aimed his Burn Bazooka at Maro and Shura and activated the breath dial. Instead of a cannonball firing, a stream of white-blue flames shot out towards them both.

Maro's eyes narrowed and she retaliated with her own flames, sending a massive torrent of blue fire towards the two.

Shura dashed away from the flames converging on him from both directions and watched as Maro's own consumed the bazooka's fire, careening towards the Wyper who was already on the move.

Wyper activated his shooters and skated away from the massive flames, temporarily losing sight of both Maro and Shura due to the sheer size.

He landed atop a tree and glanced down to where his opponents would be...

"You're annoying."

...Only to freeze at the shadow looming over him.

Before he could even think to retaliate, a massive hand palmed his face and brutally slammed the back of his head against the tree.

Blood began steadily leaking from the gash, as Wyper's eyes rolled to the back of his head. A great red stain marred the tree and he coughed up blood before going limp.

Maro scoffed and tossed him aside.

"WYPER!" His trapped allies screamed, struggling even more in their traps.

"It's easier to get the jump on him because he doesn't have Haki like the Priest…" she mused, glancing at the steady amount of blood pouring from his head.

Maro ignored the screaming Shandians and gazed at the surprised Shura.

She'd decide all their fates after this battle was over depending on her mood.

The queen leapt down from the branch she was standing on and cracked the floor beneath with the landing. With a wave of her hands, her magical flames vanished and she gazed at Shura in contemplation.

"He's not faster then me but that Haki of his is really helping him out..."

Not to mention the strings were slowing her down however slightly. It was enough to give him an edge…

The woman nodded to herself.

Shura tensed as Maro slimmed down, shrinking back to her original height but still retaining the green skin. Her hair went back to its normal length, but it had far more white then normal and her molten orange irises returned.

His Mantra began blaring and he barely managed to dodge the massively faster Dokkaebi, sweating at the near hit he received from the flaming club.

He hastily sidestepped the swift Goblin and prepared to absorb the next blow with the impact, hissing at the flames licking his skin.

She grinned cheekily and pressed her assault, making sure that even dodging was a punishment by having her burning club lash out randomly.

Maro could see now why Master didn't like sharing information. This silly Priest actually thought she was invincible durability wise because she kept angling herself in a way that only got her left side struck and he was none the wiser.

She couldn't blame him, she doubted the common person knew what a Dokkaebi was. Master was just a massive nerd.

That didn't mean she came out completely unscathed. She actually accumulated quite a bit of damage from the repeated uses of his impact dial.

He just didn't know some were actually affecting her! Master made sure she could ignore pain mostly by hitting her with his own hellish strength.

Ah, she loved that redhead. He really did give her all the cards to succeed.

Shura was getting more and more nervous, as the flames continuously licked him and slowed him down to a notable degree. Not only were they permanently blue, the flames had strange properties to them as well... they didn't emanate heat but they burned all the same and they moved as if they had a mind of their own, not making his Mantra flare in the process and only further increasing his nerves.

Maro was grinning confidently now, at total ease despite the tears in her clothes and the blood leaking from parts of her body.

It was only a matter of time before he slowed down and by then, even his Haki wouldn't be able to save him. In fact, it had been getting far easier to figure out his next move. Even with his Observation, she was beginning to see his next move easier and easier.

Such a shame, she really wanted to unlock her own haki... she was so close to making a breakthrough (Poor Maro didn't realize), but this guy was just too weak to give her that final push.

Aw man—

Wait.

Huh?

Maro blinked in confusion at the strange sensation telling her that she was in a lot of danger.

What? An attack from behind with a Dial? From that Guerilla guy?

Wait, how did she know that?

Wait, don't tell her this whole fucking time she was using —

Two skates wrapped around her waist and Maro gasped, as she felt her abilities drain.

"Seastone?" Maro gasped, turning back into her human form.

That crafty sunnova bitch.

"You only take damage when your right side is attacked," a bloodied Wyper observed with a vicious glare.

Without any hesitation, he placed a dial on Maro's back and sneered victoriously.

"WYPER WAIT, YOU CAN'T USE THAT!" Braham yelled in horror.

Maro weakly struggled because she knew exactly why he couldn't use that. She could see.

That's why she saw exactly what was about to happen to her.

"Fuck me I messed around too much. I didn't even realize I already unlocked it midfight," she cursed.

This was going to hur—

"Reject!"

Maro's eyes rolled to the back of her skull, as the reject dial slammed into her with the force of a freight train and she was sent hurling through the air, a trail of blood following her.

Wyper bit back the howl of agony from the recoil of using the Reject and nursed his destroyed arm, glaring at Shura now.

"A Reject Dial?" The Priest muttered in shock, glancing at where Maro flew and then at the heaving Wyper.

Loathe as he was to admit, if not for the Reject Dial, that monstrous blue sea dweller, would have defeated everyone here.

It was a repulsive thought to admit that Wyper saved his life... but he'd be sure to repay that embarrassment in blood.

"You think you can fight me with that destroyed arm?" Shura asked with a superior grin.

Such a shame Wyper wasn't his ally, gaining victory like this, left a bitter taste in his mouth but he couldn't be picky right now.

He already suffered one defeat, he would not lose again. If he continuously failed Enel...

Shura shivered.

Wyper scowled and gripped his bazooka. "As long as our home is being inhabited by you thieves. I will never stop fighting until us Shandians have a place to call our own."

"You still believe such a hopeless thing? With the situation your in?" Shura nearly laughed at that and gripped his lance. "Let's see how that works out. Perhaps Kami Enel will grace you with a home in the afterlife!"

The Shandian merely grunted and readied himself…

Huff.

The both of them froze at the sound of movement and felt a cold sweat begin to form in a moment of true hopelessness.

"I'd say I'm getting real tired of being blasted away into these big trees… but right now… I'm actually really happy!"

The two looked over at the legitimate monster in horror, unable to prevent themselves from stepping away from the maniacal creature.

Maro was a tattered mess. Her head was steadily leaking a copious amount of blood, forcing the woman to close her eyes to avoid getting the red liquid in them.

But despite that, she could see them clearly. She couldn't feel her right side, her head was pounding, she felt weaker then she had in years.

But everything was alive.

Maro threw her head back in joy and laughed in a moment of genuine bliss.

"Hahahaha! I did it! I finally beat Master at something! I'm the best! Praise be her majesty, your Queen, Maro, The Goblin Princess!" She cackled in joy.

The monster began actually shuddering in excitement and the constant movement flung blood in every direction but they didn't seem to notice in their happiness. The onlookers couldn't help but balk at how unhinged this made her look and then they realized, there were so many monsters out there in the world.

"I can feel you all!" Maro grinned sharply, sharp fangs glistening with her own blood.

Shura jumped as a bluenette, with more blood covering their face then skin, appeared right in front of him.

C-Could she teleport this entire time? Why was she hiding such a skill?! There had never been a moment where she used such an ability!

Wait... h-had she been holding back?

"I can feel you, String Man!" She cackled before teleporting right behind a stunned Wyper, slinging her left arm over his shoulder.

"And I can feel you, Skirt Man!" Maro smiled.

The Queen took the chance to lean in close to the petrified Shandian and began whispering in his ear.

"It's a shame my heart's on my left side, isn't it? Makes me very hard to kill. It was a good effort though, I can't even feel my right side," she crooned.

Wyper swung at the Queen in a hint of desperation and blinked in shock as she fizzled out of sight.

At the same time, Shura whirled around to face nothing, eyes going wide in horror as Maro shuddered into existence.

"Surprise~ There's a lotta things I didn't use, yknow?" she sang.

Without any warning, the Queen closed the distance between her and Shura and raised her club high, placing it in her left hand instead of her right.

"Oh? You're trying to move to the right?" She asked, adjusting her stance and aiming for where he was going to move.

Shura's eyes widened in dread as she perfectly predicted the move he was about to do.

Wait. No. No… it couldn't be!

Surely she didn't... Surely this monster hadn't been using this battle as an opportunity to gain...

"Hahahaha! I did it!"

"I can feel you all!"

"Oh? You're trying to move to the right?"

"Y-You monster!" Shura stammered in true, utter terror. "Y-You've been using this fight to unlock your Man—"

His face nearly caved, as the massive wooden club smashed him into the floor with concussive force, feeling more akin to steel than wood.

Teeth and blood flew from every direction as the Priest was instantly knocked unconscious, face permanently reconfigured from the strength of the Goblin Princess.

"Hahaha this is awesome! I felt him fall unconscious but I might be more affected by that attack then I thought… that was meant to kill," Maro pondered, idly sidestepping the cannonball shot her way with a limp.

She turned to face the nervous feeling Shandian (he did a good job hiding it) and hummed in contemplation.

"They want a place to call home, eh?" She said to herself.

Wyper tensed as the gap between them was instantly closed but he had no time to brace himself for the incoming blow…

Maro gripped his arm and yanked the Reject Dial out of his hand, wincing at the effort needed to use any part of her right side.

"Since I got what I came here for and you helped me defeat Master for the first time ever, I'll do you all a favor and spare you… but I'm taking this. My Master would very much enjoy such a strong gift," she decided.

Job done, the Queen tossed aside the confused Shandian.

Wyper's confusion turned into a furious scowl. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Going back to my wife. I would mention french kissing her, but I'm pretty sure she won't kiss me with all this blood... But I'm still satisfied," Maro replied without missing a beat, glancing in the direction she could feel them and grinning at actually being able to detect them.

Well, she couldn't feel Angel and Demon but that was to be expected.

"You show up here and defeat us both and now you're sparing me?! Cut the bullshit. We're not done here yet!" Wyper snarled in disbelief.

"Wyper stop!" They barked.

Please just accept the gift being handed to them. They couldn't deal with such a monster!

Maro didn't even spare him a glance. "If you want things to go your way, you shouldn't be so weak. The strong earn the privilege to dictate how the world works and the weak have no choice but to accept that unless they choose to become strong. If you want to die so badly, ask your allies to do it or you can try attacking me again."

It wouldn't even require effort. Maro hadn't been truly trying to kill them but if she had been, there wouldn't have even been a body to recover. The fight would have been over within the first few minutes.

She coughed up some blood and nursed her ribs, before going over to steal the Priest's lance and Impact Dial. "Man this hurts… Angel and Demon are gonna flip when they see the state I'm in. My Kimono's all destroyed too…"

Ugh, Aiko just got this one created for her last month. It was a pretty little black kimono with yellow flowers all over it.

Sanji would probably enjoy the view. What an adorable little pervert…

After some deliberation, the Dokkaebi glanced over at the trapped Shandians and nodded to herself before approaching them.

They went stiff at the sight of the monster in human flesh approaching but there was not much they could do about it considering they were still trapped.

"Sorry bout this, some of you are gonna have to travel by foot," she mumbled to herself, stealing the various forms of transportation off their feet.

Angel would love to inspect some of these and well, these people weren't her allies… she just chose to spare them because of her sappy heart!

From one formerly homeless person, to the currently homeless people, she hoped they managed to get that home.

Would she help them? Hell no. They had contributed greatly to her injuries and she felt no obligation to assist them. A queen had to carefully decide if something was worth her investment and these people were not.

But as a favor to them, she'd just take the equipment from the ones who would probably die…

She took some ice skates and boards, grunting at how full her hands currently were and transforming into her Full Zoan just to carry them all easier.

"H-Hey!" They protested at being robbed but she completely ignored them.

Maro tested her flames and nodded to herself, before propelling through the air with the stolen products in tow.

"I got my Haki! I got my Haki!" She sang to the heavens, before breaking out into bloody coughs.

She wanted Armament more then Observation (She was pretty sure all of them did) but this ability to just be able to see was so incredible! It was like an entire new world was being presented to her and she was almost overwhelmed by it.

Now she just needed Demon to finish those Rumble Balls and she'd enter yet another new realm of strength… Maro was already experimenting with partial transformations and she was pretty sure once she consumed one of the balls, she'd be able to figure out the tricks behind it.

But that was for later!

After Master cried at being left behind by them all, she'd give him this Reject Dial thing to absorb and maybe that would help him recover from being in last place.

Heh, this was awesome! Take that, Rosan! Maybe he should start calling her Master now!

Wyper watched the bloodied Queen go with a stupefied expression before roughly shaking his head and going to free his allies.

"Are you alright, Wyper?" Kamakiri asked, assessing the man's hefty injuries with a grimace.

He was a mess from his injuries sustained against that green monster and his arm was even worse off from the now stolen reject dial.

Wyper ignored the pain and glanced away from the position Maro had been at.

"I'm fine… those of you who didn't get your items stolen can continue," he grunted.

"What about that monster? She's pretty injured so should we pursue her to get what was taken back?" Braham asked.

It would do no good to let such a strong enemy survive.

"...No, we have other things to worry about and she'd kill all of you," Wyper decided. "Split up. 2 Priests are defeated so we'll win this decisively today."

That woman…

"A place to call home, eh?"

Did she relate to them somehow? She claimed that she would no longer be benevolent, but was still kinder then she looked.

That still didn't help stifle his fury at being looked down upon so much but he'd just channel that for Enel.

The Shandian glared ahead and activated his shooters before going on ahead.

----------------------------------------

"I'm back! Rejoice!" Maro greeted with a cheery smile as she dumped everything she collected onto the ship and transformed back into her human form.

Angel glanced up in boredom, knowing that her wife wouldn't have been really challenged.

"Welcome bac— MARO WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO YOU?!" She screeched, boredom being wiped off her face in an instant.

The woman immediately charged the Dokkaebi and began fussing over her in panic. She cringed at the sheer amount of blood dripping from her wife and gnawed on her lip in worry.

"Are you alright? Oh Kami of course you aren't okay! Who did this to you? I'll rip them to shreds!" Angel snarled in rage, gazing at the shred of her clothes with blistering anger.

Everyone jumped at that and balked at the condition the Dokkaebi was in. She looked like she had been through a war!

What the hell happened to her?!

Demon gasped in horror at the state his little sister was in, protective instincts already flaring up as he moved to collect medical supplies.

The Queen laughed sheepishly, rubbing a hand against her blood soaked hair as she pointed at the huge assortment of stolen items on the deck, getting bugged eyes out of Usopp and Nami.

Sanji noticed her state of attire and once he verified that she was well, rocketed away from the nose bleed.

"There was a bit more people then I expected along with the Priest…" She explained.

"Were you messing around? There's no way anyone could you to this degree or Sabo would have warned us!" Angel exclaimed, grabbing a rag and wiping the blood to the best of her ability.

"The Raid Suit would have defeated the purpose of me going out! They weren't strong so it would be overkill! I just messed around a bit too much and was practically fighting 2v1 in a free for all," Maro muttered, putting her hands on .

"S-Stop acting like Master, you maniac!" The redhead shrieked, anxiety coursing through her at seeing her wife so injured.

His influence on her as Maro's teacher, shone clear as day when it came to battles.

"But I need to be a little crazy to achieve my goals!" The Dokkaebi whined.

Angel glowered at her.

Demon forcefully sat the compliant queen and began fussing over her

"I stole a couple of stuff for you and Master, Angel!" The Queen grinned, showing off the dials and the lance while accepting Demon's care.

"That's…" Gan Fall's eyes widened in disbelief as he laid eyes on the Reject Dial and Shura's lance.

Did she defeat Shura along with the other enemies?

Maro's eyes lit up at the recognition. "Yeah some violent guerrilla dude named Wyper was holding this and he used it on me. Said "reject" after weakening me with seastone…"

The former Kami's eyes bugged. "Wyper used a Reject Dial on you and you lived?!"

Just who was this woman?! He had no idea she was so formidable due to her regal attire!

"A Reject Dial has 10 times more power then the Impact Dial! It wields so much force that the user will die from it! They are banned in Skypiea and just the fact he had one..." Gan Fall explained, stressing how powerful it was.

The crew, having just been shown by the Knight how powerful an Impact Dial was, paled at the thought that there was something 10x stronger then it.

Maro nodded sagely. "It felt like I got hit by a bomb. I actually lost consciousness for a bit but guess what?!"

"What?" Usopp asked warily.

"I got my Haki!" She cheered excitedly, only to wilt as Demon shot her a firm glare.

"You did?!" Sabo asked in excitement. He felt the battle going on and knew that Maro won but he didn't know the specifics of it further then that.

"Yep! Observation! I actually unlocked it before getting this injured but I didn't realize!" She cackled in joy. "I beat Master at something! I finally fucking did it!" The Queen cheered.

She would have jumped in joy if not for the fact she was currently being patched up.

Demon scared her when he was in doctor mode.

The Revolutionary whistled at that. "You guys are amazing! It seems like training everyday really did pay off!"

They'd need to step it up to have everyone unlock it then. It was only a matter of time.

Angel, despite her worry, felt a swell of pride and happiness at seeing the genuine joy on her face. "I'm so proud of you and you even brought me things in the process!"

"Yep! You can have everything except for this Reject Dial thing! Discuss with Master what you want to split up in this pile!" Maro beamed in return.

Angel's eyes glittered and she helped herself to the assortment of odd technology.

Gan Fall's gaze turned wary. "What will you do with that Dial?"

"Give it to Master," Maro said without missing a beat.

Such a powerful thing would be incredible if Ram absorbed it. She doubted Master would be affected by the recoil either, both because of his insane durability and because of Ram herself refusing to hurt him in anyway.

"Master as in… that Rosan correct?" The Knight asked.

"Yep," she replied with a pop of the p. "He's a weapon expert so he'll use it the best. These Dial things are really useful actually, I want even more!"

"Someone else will have to get them for you. You're officially sitting out for the rest of this," Demon said sternly.

"Yes sir," she saluted with a nervous expression.

The former Kami of Skypiea couldn't help the bead of sweat that formed.

A Reject Dial in the hand of the Forsaken One… it was a recipe for disaster.

----------------------------------------

"Where is Rosan?" Robin mused.

The Devil Child was currently inspecting some ruins with a curious gaze. She figured that by now, her best friend would have shown up but he was still nowhere to be seen..

Even though he mentioned going to find Chopper, Rosan was also an ass and would find too much joy in making fun of her so he'd likely send a bird for him while personally visiting her.

It was rather odd that he wasn't here yet… Though she would almost never admit it of her own volition, she did hate being separated from him for long so she quite missed him and his annoying antics.

She would just ask him what the hold up wa—

Robin's blue eyes narrowed slightly as her observation flared and she gazed in the direction of the approaching target.

"They're about to land on the ruins? I think not."

Before the Divine Guard could even land on the stone, a row of arms pushed him forward, redirecting his landing path and making him fall flat on the ground.

The goat man spluttered at that and tried to push himself up, wondering what on earth was going on and attempting to turn towards the woman he was targeting...

"He's going to attack me? No thanks."

...Only for him to let out a raspy gasp as a flurry of arms twisted his body.

In just a split second, he had been mercilessly dealt with and the Devil Child hummed in a pleased manner.

Observation Haki was exceedingly useful. Robin enjoyed it very much.

She idly snatched the unconscious goat man's skates and removed the dial from his person, gazing at it curiously.

What did this one do?

Well only one way to find out.

Robin aimed the dial at the prone man and ruthlessly activated it, raising a brow as it effortlessly slashed and cut into his body with brutal efficiency.

That was strong but she didn't think Rosan needed something like this… Well, she'd still keep it and give it to Angel then. Perhaps she'd be able to create new weapons that had dials integrated into them.

Now where exactly was that insufferable redhead named Rosan at—

"Robin," Rosan's deep voice suddenly called. "There's been a change of plans, I won't be meeting up with you… Will you be alright alone?"

She blinked at that in a bit of confusion. "I'll be fine but what happened?"

There was a brief silence on the other side before Rosan spoke up again.

"It seems Kami has deigned to grace me with his presence."

----------------------------------------

Rosan floated over to where Robin was located at a leisurely pace, as he processed what was going on.

Chopper was currently in the same location as one of the Priests it looked like… Rosan should probably go assist his little doctor because he wasn't sure if the reindeer was ready for a challenge like that yet.

"You sound like a concerned parent," Mod gushed.

"...It would be less then ideal, if we let our super talented doctor die," Rosan retorted calmly.

"Whatever you say!"

Mind made up on ensuring that Chopper stayed alive, Rosan was about to inform Robin of what he was planning on doing…

"Yahahaha! So I finally get to meet the Shinigami in the flesh! What an honor!"

...And stopped what he was doing in favor of tensing up, eyes narrowing slightly at the fact that someone managed to get so close without him noticing and he glanced at the source.

Up on a tree, sitting on a branch, was a man confidently smiling down at him with a half-lidded gaze.

He looked incredibly tall and wiry but well-toned, with a white skull cap over his head and the longest earlobes Rosan had ever seen on a person.

The most notable thing about the man in his simple yet lavish clothing, was the ring that looked to be stuck centrally into his shoulder. Attached to it were 4 shime-daiko with a black mitsudomoe engraved on all of them.

What a unique design…

"Quite bold to be showing yourself to me after trying to kill me twice, Enel," Rosan greeted calmly. He made no move to attack the man and just calmly inspected him.

Enel threw his head back and laughed. "Yahahaha! It was a test that you passed with flying colors, Rosan-kun. After all, it's natural for me to throw suspicion onto a person calling themselves Shinigami!"

"But you've more then proven enough so from one Divine being to another…"

The roar of thunder coursed through Rosan's ears, as The Kami of Skypiea formed in front of him with dangerous speeds.

"...Let's allow our followers to battle without interference from the two of us," he suggested calmly, eyes boring into Rosan's own without a hint of fear.

Rosan didn't flinch at the close proximity, but he did note that Enel was fast.

"He's quick… it's very likely that he really does have the Goro Goro no Mi," Mod muttered.

"Oh?" The redhead raised a brow.

"You were about to go help one of your allies, the animal, deal with one of my Priests, Gedatsu. With your assistance, my Priest would have been dealt with in incredibly short order," Enel pointed out with a confident smile.

"Then, after finishing up there, you were going to rejoin your woman, protecting her from any and all threats."

His woman? He meant Robin? Rosan tilted his head to the side. "And if I did plan on doing that?" He asked calmly.

Enel looked as if he were a teacher dealing with an unruly student by the way he was shaking his head. "It's no fun if Kami deals with all his soldiers battles! We're in the middle of a survival game; It would be quite anticlimactic if the two of us intervened and won in every battle we partook in," he explained.

"..." Rosan was used to being underestimated by his enemies, but this was on another level. Enel was regarding him as if they were friends right now.

"Such confidence… This is one of the major downsides of eating a Logia. The person who consumes one, truly thinks they are invincible and the lack of being able to be hurt, only fills them with more ego… it must be even worse considering his Logia is on the upper end of Devil Fruits and he's been living in such a weak place."

Rosan hummed. "So your saying the both of us will make the battles too easy so we should let them deal with it?"

Enel's smile widened. "That's exactly right. There are battles happening everywhere on Upper Yard… Just moments ago, a blue sea dweller with a Zoan took out one of my Priests and a Shandian, Shura and Wyper in quite the exciting display. I could have intervened and wiped her out but it's more entertaining to watch them fight their own battles!"

"Maro got in a fight with multiple people?" Rosan pondered. "Neither of us are intervening with the battles then? Is that what you're proposing?"

How interesting… Enel's thought process was much like his own.

He wondered what that said about him.

The Logia shook his head. "Not exactly. Besides the fact that you wish to battle me, you also wanted to see what I was capable of correct?"

So his Observation truly did cover all of Skypiea and not only that, he could actively hear conversations… that seemed incredible… Did his Devil Fruit have something to do with it?

"Hm, actually I am," Rosan replied after a short while.

Enel's range spanned across all of Skypiea and that included his abilities as well. If he so pleased, the Logia could snipe anyone of his crew members at any point in time, including Robin and Rosan wouldn't let that happen.

This idea of not intervening in battles was good. Rosan couldn't protect them all and if Enel targeted their ship, he didn't think Sabo could fully protect it from being destroyed.

"Good, then follow me. I will show you what the Kami of Skypiea is capable of," Enel assured, picking a direction and teleporting a short distance away.

Rosan flexed his wings and followed.

Activating his connection with Robin, the redhead said, "Robin. There's been a change of plans, I won't be meeting up with you… Will you be alright alone?"

It didn't take her long to reply.

"I'll be fine but what happened?"

"There's a Shandian named Kamakiri-kun who is looking for me so I'm going to use him as an example," Enel exclaimed lazily.

"I look forward to seeing what you can do," Rosan replied truthfully.

This would be a great way to gauge his strength.

Going back to his connection, he said, "It seems Kami has deigned to grace me with his presence."

He could practically feel the shock.

"You met Enel? What's going on? Are you two fighting right now?" She asked.

"No, he's not regarding me as a threat currently. Right now, he's about to demonstrate some of what he can do to one of the participants in his game."

Rosan explained their entire conversation to Robin and she hummed in contemplation.

"This is for the best then," she nodded. It was true that Enel could attack any of them at any time and for the weaker members, that would be almost certain death.

Even for the stronger ones in the crew, it would be nigh impossible to deal with the self proclaimed Kami. Only Sabo, Luffy and Rosan could deal with him.

"You don't have to worry about me, Rosan. I'll be careful. If I get hurt, you might lose control and destroy these ruins and I would not like that."

Rosan nearly rolled his eyes. "Don your Raid Suit if you have to. It should protect you from Enel's ranged attacks on the off chance he uses one on you."

"Right. Be careful, I'll continue exploring the ruins."

"You be careful too. Love you."

Robin's eyes widened in shock at that, before an embarrassed look overcame her features.

"Don't say such things so boldly," she admonished.

"..."

"..."

"I love you too, Rosan," Robin muttered.

"Don't make it so difficult next time," Rosan chided.

"Please let me explore the ruins in peace."

With that the connection cut and he focused his attention back to completely at ease Enel.

What an odd turn of events…

----------------------------------------

Chopper was currently in the process of fighting the strangest person on the planet.

He was a priest but… he kept rolling his eyes to the back of his head, either tried to speak with his lower lip in his mouth or in his mind, crossed his arms incorrectly and attacking his own allies.

That wasn't to say his opponent was any weaker for it… his wounds were more then enough to disprove that.

The wounded Reindeer had spent the majority of the fight running because of those terrible swamp clouds that would slowly but surely suffocate you.

Not only that, the man had something called a Jet Dial that allowed him to go really fast and a Milky Dial that let him fly!

He needed to be more careful… That jet dial punch was able to even pierce his guard point but he knew exactly how to defeat him.

After consuming a Rumble Ball and activating Brain Point, it didn't take Chopper long to identify Gedatsu's weakness, that being his feet and the doctor concocted a plan to finish this match here and now.

The bird resting on his shoulder, trilled in approval and the bloodied reindeer smiled shakily at it.

This was Rosan's really realistic bird… he was a little scared that the redhead himself wouldn't be showing up but he did leave him some words.

"I know you can do it. You're strong too so show him what I see. Also, steal all his dials for me."

He sweatdropped at the last part but nodded resolutely.

Gedatsu raised a brow in confusion as Chopper tackled his legs. The Priest grunted and drew his fist back before bashing it on the reindeer's exposed back.

Chopper coughed up some blood at the immense strength and hastily released the man, before transforming into his jump point and launching away from the Priest.

Gedatsu shook his head at the foolish reindeer. "You fool! I told you that the sky is my domain!"

The man activated his milky dials and flew up to catch the reindeer… Only to let out a yelp of shock at suddenly losing control of his flight.

"W-What?! He stole my boot!" Gedatsu gasped.

How careless! Now he couldn't fly properly! But no matter, he still had his Jet Dial—

Huh?! When did his Jet Dials go missing!? Where were they?! W-What? The animal took it?!

What a crafty Raccoon...

Chopper glared at him victoriously.

He would be someone the crew could rely on. He was tired of being unreliable! He could become a monster in a crew full of monsters and that was okay because they would never be afraid of him!

Transforming into his Arm Point Chopper fell towards the Priest and bellowed, "Cloven Cross!"

Gedatsu's eyes rolled at the hit and he plummeted to the ground at rapid speeds, until he ended upside down in one of his own bogs.

Chopper squealed in horror as he fell but he landed on his two feet with a relieved sigh.

Then he cheered excitedly.

"I'M STRONG TOO!" He yelled out, clutching the dials he stole for Rosan.

The bird trilled atop his hat, pleased by a job well done and they both watched in curiosity, as the Priest began struggling… before launching himself further down into the swamp.

"…"

"He sure is stupid," Chopper muttered.

The bird sang its agreement.

----------------------------------------

"The islands in the south are

Warm〜

Heads all a-swoon-swoon

Buncha fools〜!"

Luffy sang cheerfully to himself as he waved his stick around and headed in the direction he thought the ruins were in.

The rubber boy idly stepped away from the cannonball careening towards him and didn't even spare it a glance.

"Second verse!" He exclaimed.

"The islands in the north are

Chilly〜

Heads all a-brr-brr

Buncha fools〜 "

"Third verse—"

"Oi."

"Eh?"

Luffy paused at being interrupted and glanced at the rude person who did it.

"Oh it's you… What happened to you?" He asked, puzzled.

This was the bazooka guy… What was his name again?

Eh, he didn't know. But man, he sure looked beat up.

Wyper scowled at the idiot but kept his guard up. His battle against Maro was fresh on his mind and if she were any indication, he couldn't underestimate these Blue Sea dwellers any longer.

"Your friend did this… the blue haired one," he said gruffly, glancing at his battered body.

Luffy slammed a fist against his palm. "Oh, you fought Maro! Shishishi! She's really strong isn't she?!"

That was an understatement. That monster was on another level and had effectively fought him and Shura 1 on 2…

"I would have put you down here but I can't waste anymore time," Wyper growled.

The rubber boy laughed at him. He actually had the audacity to laugh at his enemy.

"If you just fought and lost to Maro, you can't beat me! You must be a good guy if she spared you though!" He said matter of factly.

The Shandian grit his teeth in rage. Without any doubt in his stance, this dweller had correctly guessed that the monster had spared him and that was a blow to his pride that he didn't know he could take.

Wyper wasn't sure how many of the Blue Sea dwellers would make note of his strength, but he was getting real sick of it. None of them considered him a threat.

Not the blue haired monster, not this strange boy and not that goddamn Devil.

Worst, it looked like they were more then strong enough to back up their words. Just one person managed to not only defeat him, but Shura as well and it was in the process of holding back to learn something.

"A place to find home, eh?"

"Tell me, what are you Blue Sea dwellers doing here? This is our land so if you want it, I will take you out here," Wyper asked calmly.

Luffy blinked. "Oh this is your land? I thought it was the Kami's… Pardon me," he said, bowing at the Shandian before continuing to walk.

He felt his annoyance rising at the idiot Blue Sea dweller and opened his mouth before closing it.

Whatever, he already spent too much time dealing with that green monster. He needed to think of a new way to defeat Enel now that the Reject Dial was no longer an option.

They came too far to just back down… it would make no sense to continue wasting away his stamina against these formidable Blue Sea dwellers who didn't seem interested in them.

"Just… stay out of my way," Wyper said eventually, shaking his head at the royal idiot not even paying attention to him.

What was wrong with these Blue Sea dwellers?

"Third verse!" Luffy cheered.

"The islands in the east are

Early〜

Hearts all a-woo-hoo

Buncha fools〜 "

Wyper glanced at the departing rubber boy and shook his head.

It wasn't even worth thinking about. He had too much on his plate to risk suffering a headache too.
