We came walking back through the portal from home. It had been nice visiting, but after having been gone for 6 years I was a little taken aback at how some things had changed, yet some things had stayed the same. I spoke to my uncle Shad a little on this, and he told me that as the years passed, I would mostly become used to it, but then it would hit me like a hammer between the eyes at the most unexpected moment. Told me how he had one exact moment like it, when he had met his childhood sweetheart at my grandparent's funeral. He was the same as the day he left town, but by that time she was 170 years old and approaching the end of her life. The surroundings were all the same, there were people there that looked the same as when he had left. But others had grown older. That when he and my father had decided to move to a higher tier world.
Basic tier were for people who just wanted to live out their lives in peace. The other end of the scale where people like me were allowed was Epic worlds which were basically one big Monster planet, filled to the brim with every sort of creature that wanted to kill you. My parents lived on a Heroic world. Real chance of danger, but real chance of advancement for people too.
I was jerked from my introspection by us arriving at the city of the demigods. This time we were going to look around as we had gotten the rewards from the last 6 years of wandering. I was looking forward to seeing what the demigod Tinkerson would have for me too. It was starting to remind me of when we would go somewhere special for my birthday. The happiness and anticipation starting a war in my stomach. I needed an upgrade. The last 6 years had been done to hone me to a certain point. But to move on, would take quality not quanity.
I was staring in awe at the market. I had seen bigger. In fact, one of the worlds my father and uncle had taken me to had a city that was as big as this and was the hub for a market that once a decade sprung up around the city. It was amazing, but this. Words could not do justice. The power and magic that was just flowing around it, every item worth a small fortune. Plus the amount of people around that was at epic or higher. Normally, you be lucky anywhere else to get maybe six full teams of epic on a planet. This place held more like sixty teams plus all the demigods that were walking around.
Then in the distance was the arena. Roars and screams plus explosions could be heard from there. Tedd was looking over too, his feet twitching. "Alright, you can go over there" Sighed Sario. "We meet you once we met Tinkerson." Tedd grinned and looked at the priestess Melda, who rolled her eyes and nodded.
"Just stay out of trouble. In fact, take Shad with you. That way even if you get into trouble, at least you got someone to back you up or at least run the betting." Uncle Shad laughed at that one and then accompanied Tedd in the direction of the Arena. It looked like Melda and Sario were staying with me. I was watching a barter taking place between a demigod and a epic when I suddenly saw Tinkerson heading towards us. Sario and Melda started to chuckle at my reaction.
"Greetings" Said Tinkerson. "Are you ready to complete the transaction?" I nodded eagerly. He handed me a ring and told me to bind it to my self. I was looking forward to what this ring would add pow-
"HOLY TITS OF UDUREDA!" I shouted, before remembering belatedly where I was and the people that were around. Most of them laughed at me, although I could see Sario looking a bit embrassed and her look also promising a meeting where advice would be given along with possibly a very brutal lesson in sparring. But I just couldn't help my self. Because the ring wasn't a normal ring. It didn't just give me a boost in something. It was a storage ring. It probably cost more then what we gave him and now it was bound to me. But it was weapons and equipment I needed.
"I see your look, but that ring cost me nothing to throw in really and I want to make sure that your group will look favourably on doing some errands for me. Now I want you to focus on the ring and think 'Set 1'" I do as he says and suddenly I am wearing a set of armor. Tinkerson smiled and then shared with us some status screens.

"HOLY TITS OF UDUREDA!" shouted Melda. "what?" she said in response to the look Sario gave her. "My god won't mind, and you know Udureda loves her tits being praised, being a god of courtesans as she is. These items are amazing." I looked at the description with marvel. Now all I needed was weapons. Maybe I could find something here.
"If you hold out your hands and call forth the two weapons that are in the ring, you see what I done with those." Hang on. Weapons as well?! I called them forth and held a crossbow in one hand and an axe in the other. It was a good thing I had those gloves and that belt, because otherwise I would have dropped them. The axe was an intimidating looking thing and I fell in love with it. Able to hurt people yet keep a little distance, it was a true Battle axe. As for the crossbow, whatever I shot with it, was definitely going to feel it. Not in a good way either. Tinkerson then shared the descriptions for these too.

I finally remember to breathe. What was I going to owe for this?! This was a divine set. a minor one to be sure, but a set. It wasn't going to just increase my power. It was going to make me a heavy hitter. Sure, I might not be able to take as much damage as Tedd, or hand out as much as Uncle Shad in one go, but my staying power in a fight as well as general damage, was going to be ranges better then it was before.
"What extra are we going to owe you? What will you want us to do to cover what you have given us?" Said Sario helplessly. She knew what was the worth of what I had recieved. and what we had given him was in no way comparable. Tinkerson looked surprised.
"The original agreement was this in exchange for what you gave me was it not? I admit, it turned out better then I had expected, and the ring was perhaps a tad out of the agreement but it was worthless to me and I thought it was be helpful to Franky here in years to come. By the way Franky, there is a booklet in the ring that contains more about your equipment" Useless to him. A ring that apparently held from what I could determine, more then our dimensional bag could and still had some supplies in it.
"But what about the other stuff in here?!" I blurted out. Tinkerson gave a dimissive wave.
"Just stuff I had created for practice. I noticed that you don't have some of this around here, and I thought I would give it to you guys to see if it proves useful. If it does, let me know please. That all I ask." That all he asked. The guy had just given me a fortune in equipment and weapons and a ring that could hold it all plus more.
"So what was the errands you wanted us to run?" Asked Sario idly. Tinkerson brightened up at that and replied.
"I have no errands as such, but if you could save any curious or expectional stuff you find, and bring it to me, I'm sure I can make a good deal for it. One of a kind books or spells would be good, even if they seem trivial. I might have a friend that would be curious in that anyway." A good deal. He was unreal. Ok, I needed to calm down. Granted, I just got what was to me the jackpot, but I had to remember this guy was a demigod. They were powerful. Only..... Wasn't he supposed to be a new demigod? What the hell would he be like at the height of his power?!
"Uh, yeah. We can do that." Said Melda slowly. Tinkerson smiled and walked off.
"Thanks!" He said over his shoulder. The three of us just stood there watching. Then finally Sario stirred.
"OK, we going to find the other two at the arena, then we going to rent an arena practice room and test the equipment." Oh. This was going to be exciting. But it was also going to hurt for me. A lot.
