Snorri moved through the tunnel at a steady pace. He knew it wouldn't be long before he reached the foundries of the metalurgist guilds. From there, it would only be a short journey to the industrial sector communter lift, which, if still intact, would take him to the residential district on the level above. At least from there, he would know the area. As he reached the tunnel’s end, he reached into the back with his left hand and pulled out one of the six powder-filled vials. Clutching his sword in his right hand and the vial in his left, Snorri extended his senses. Several guttural goblin voices could be heard from within. “What do you think they were making down here?” one asked, seemingly to nobody in particular. After waiting for an answer for awhile, the voice continued. "Can it be weapons, though? If it was, then there would have been warriors.” The goblin rambled. Snorri poked out his head from the side of the archway leading towards the goblish voice. He had just enough time to count ten or so goblins in the chamber before his eyes locked with a large, heavily amoured goblin who was staring directly at the archway.
Snorri slipped back out of her veil, trying to be as quiet as possible. The goblin’s rambling suddenly paused. "OI, I SAW ONE OF EM OVER ERE!” the goblin shouted. The sounds of several running goblins echoed around the chamber beyond the tunnel. Snorri tossed the glass vial into the chamber. He pinned himself to the tunnel wall, closing his eyes tight as the vial shattered amongst the assembling goblins. A bright flash of light burned through his eyelid for a few seconds before dying away. “I can't see!" One of the goblins managed to scream as Snorri came bellowing from the tunnel, throwing his sword as he came. Three goblins let out shreiks of pain as Arracop’s blade plunged them one after another.
Snorri closed the distance between himself and the chamber’s remaining goblins as he ripped the sword chain free of the goblins and back into his right hand. He sent his blade fourth in a deadly slash, opening a large wound in one of the goblins belly as it wildly flailed a spear in the air. The next two he took, one after the other, with blows to the head. spinning to sink his blade through another's chest before he spans. The remaining trio of goblins sent a flurry of strikes his way with mean pointed spears, apparently having regained their eyesight after the exsplosion of light snorri had cuased. The gnome dodged backward, parrying the strikes easily. He sprung fourth towards them, moving within the reach of his spear. He spun, putting all his strength into his low two-hand grip. as he moved the sword blade torn clean through the first of the spear men and lodged itself into the second with a sickening thump.
Snorri turned to face the remaining spearmen, who were turning to flee. he growled. With a preditors intistict, he narrowed his eyes on the goblins head as he spun the sword on its chain. As the goblin fled, he dropped his spear in a vague attempt to go faster. Snorri sent the blade wizzling towards the goblin's head. The creature's head exsploded with neon green blood and the shredded remains of whatever the creature had for a brain. Snorri drew the sword back to him. It let out a menacing mettalic gring as it was dragged across the chamber's rough stone floor. He clasped the blade tightly in his right hand and flicked it hard, sending a splatter of neon green onto the chamber floor.

He was vaguely aware of more goblin footsteps echoing from the other side of the vast chamber in between him and the chamber exit. Snorri moved towards the noises. sneaking through the chamber's massive machinery. He slipped another of the powder-filled vials from his back pack, crouching low. He was able to clearly see the goblins legs as the group moved into the chamber. He quickly counted his enemies. Two groups, one group of eight, are closest to him, and another is further back near the chamber exit. moved himself carefully into position and threw the vial towards the group of goblins. After shielding his eyes from another furious flash of light, Snorri burst towards them. extending the weapons chain, maybe three feet in length, and whirling himself towards the group with a roar of gnomish fury.
Four of the goblins fell to deep slashes in the first spin, the remaining two avoiding death by inches as they flayed blindly with crudely forged swords. Snorri swung the chain through the air, sending the sword down in a vertical plunge. It sank deep into the goblin swordsman’s shoulder. Snorri pulled two swords back towards him, ripping them free with a sickening crunching sound. He grabbed the sword in a two-hand grip and charged at the remaining goblin in the group. Snorri roared into the goblin's face as he rammed the blade home. The creature creamed back in goblin death wail. "LOOSE,” Snorri heard from somewhere behind the goblin his sword was currently buried in. Five high-pitched pings followed the order, and Snorri had just enough time to pull himself close to the now-dead goblin before five goblin arrows impacted into the corpse, cuasing its mouth to spit neon green blood over Snorri’s flith-caked face.
Snorri quickly wrenched his blade free of the dead goblin. Wilding grabbed inside his back pack with his left hand as he moved, until finally his hand clasped over another glass vial. He wrenched it free and through it hard towards the space where he hoped the last of the goblins and the foundries would exit. He closed his eyes tightly, tried his best to shield them with his now empty left hand, and charged blindly forward as another violent burst of light burst around the chamber. Snorri blinked, opening his eyes. He swung Arcacop’s blade directly towards the first goblin that came into his vision. He sliced the creature across the next before he had time to notice five more goblins rubbing wildly at the eyes. Snorri sent his blade fourth, swinging in from its chain towards the line of temporarily blinded goblin archers. Five goblin heads sailed, throwing the air clattering to the chamber floor as a fire goblin body collapsed to the floor in an angry sea of neon green blood.
As the last of the goblin arches stopped twitching, Snorri heard a familiar chime. and golden text burst across his vision.
