After I left Karim’s luxurious penthouse, I received a text from him providing the location of the limo he had requested. The message detailed the precise location where I could find the limo.
The designated place was a luxurious vehicle shop. Upon entering, I strolled through the shop and couldn't help but notice the extravagant cars on display. Rayfield’s and Herrera’s gleamed by the window, clearly aimed at attracting discerning customers.
The worker, who had the nametag Gil, noticing my interest, inquired if I was considering a purchase. Out of curiosity, I asked about the price of the limo. "The total cost is 1.25 million Eurodollars. However, we do accept monthly deposits of 100,000 Eurodollars if that suits you better," Gil explained.
I was taken aback by the price. It was clear that even in my previous circumstances within the Almano family, this purchase would have been out of reach. I then asked about any recent purchases and the availability of the limo for collection.
After checking, the worker confirmed that the limo had been purchased and was ready for collection. When asked if I was there to pick it up, I simply played along and confirmed that I was indeed sent for that purpose.
"Splendid, let's go over the paperwork, and I'll give you the keys to the car.”
We walked upstairs and entered an office. Gil asked me to take a seat and if I would like something to drink. I declined the drink and waited for him to go over the paperwork.
“So. You’re here on behalf of the Arasaka company? Boy, that must be a stressful job.”
“It’s not all bad. You're mostly just driving from place to place and listening to whatever bullsh*t is going on within the company. But it pays well, and that's the main thing.”
Gil quietly chuckled before the office phone started to ring. Gil picked up the phone, and I could tell that the conversation was a good sign for me. Once the phone call was finished, Gil double-checked with me that I was here on Arasaka’s behalf. I again played along and said I was, but I could tell that something was about to happen.
“It’s just that the phone call I just had was from a representative from Arasaka asking about the limo. Are you sure you're from Arasaka?”
I drew out one of my handguns and said, “I really hoped you would make this easy. Just hand over the keys, pal. I don't want to hurt you.”

Gil was scared, so he started pleading for his life. “Please don’t kill me. I have a family.”
I reassured him that I wouldn’t kill him so long as he gave me the keys to the limo. Gil started saying that he couldn’t give me the keys because he didn't want to lose his job.
“You’ll lose your fucking life if you don't give me the keys!” I yelled.
Gil eventually gave up and finally handed over the keys. I thanked him for making this easy and asked where the limo was being kept, to which he responded in a garage behind the shop. I left the office and walked outside to the garage, where I noticed the limo I was sent to retrieve was shiny, clean, and ready for collection.
Using the key to get inside the limousine, the interior was spotless. The seats were comfy and clean, and the new car smell was overpowering. On the dashboard was a monitor that had a map of Night City as well as a music system and a battery with a 100 percent charge, indicating that the limo was an electric car. Starting the car’s engine, I drove the limo out of the garage and out of the dealership.
Karim: “Hello?”
Max: “Karim I have the limo; where do you want me to park it?”
Karim: “Wonderful! I need you to collect something else for my father; I'll send you the location.”
I placed the location where Karim wanted me to go into the limo’s sat-nav and floored it to the location. While on the drive, the limo’s engine was silent, which to some people is what they look for when they purchase a car, but I wasn't a fan of the quiet engine and preferred the sound of an engine drawing as I put the power down.
Arriving at the location, I looked out of the window and noticed three beautiful models waiting for someone. One of them approached the window and asked if I was there to pick them up.
I didn’t know the true reason why Karim wanted me to come here. I texted him and asked if the models were meant for him. In a second, Karim responded quickly with a yes and said that they were actually for his father because when he landed in Night City, he then followed up the text by telling me to take the limo to the airport, more specifically hanger number 4.
I told the women to get in the limo and that I would be taking them to the airport. I got out of the limo and opened the door for them before entering back into the limo.
Heading to the airport, one of the models assumed that I was a chauffeur for famous people and asked who the most famous person was that I had driven for.
“I’m not a chauffeur. I'm, uh, I'm filling in for a friend.”
“So, what do you do then?”
I didn’t want to reveal that I was a Knight Rider. “I'm a race car driver.”
We arrived at the airport, but security wasn’t letting me pass.
“I’m here on behalf of Karim.”
“Is that name meant to mean something, kid?”
“Doesn’t Karim Hakim have a personal hanger here?”
“Jesus kid, why didn’t you say his last name? Hurry up; his father’s plane is due to land in a few hours.”
Security moved out of the way and opened the gate, allowing me to park the limo inside the hanger. I threw the keys to the security guard and told him that three models inside the limo were meant for Karim’s father.
