Chapter 8: Talking Part 1

Chapter 8: Talking Part 1

“Senior, what should this junior call you?” Bull Ye asks.

Thinking for a while, Jen says. “Kin Ryu is fine.”

Kin Ryu? Golden Dragon? This guy has a grand view of himself.'  Bull Ye thinks to himself.

“Kin Ryu, with respect, whatever it is that you wish to take about, could you wait unto I finished my business here?  If you would like, then I can have someone escort you inside.” Bull Ye says respectfully. As of right now, he doesn’t want to offend this person if he doesn’t have to.

‘Remember, don’t offend him, but be intimidating. If I offend him, then he may not listen or may plan to go against me later, but if he doesn’t fear me a little, then the same may still happen.’ Jen thinks to himself.

“No, I can’t wait until you’re done here. This business of yours is what I came here to talk about.” Jen says while shaking his head.

“I don’t understand Kin Ryu, how does this little problem concern you?” Bull Ye gently says while narrowing his eyes. If one listened carefully, they would hear hints of coldness behind his words.

“You see, I helped this man take care of a little family problem, so if I’m going to help with one problem, then why not the other,” Jen says while pointing at Elder Mil.

After hearing this, Elder Mil started to slightly sweet, and his face turned a little pale. At first, he also wasn’t sure who this man was, but after hearing what was just said he was pretty sure it was Jen.

Noticing Elder Mil’s reaction Bull Ye couldn’t help but be filled with question. 'How did this stranger help Elder Mil? What kind of help would Elder Mil even need? From the looks of it, Elder Mil seems scared. What happened between these two?'

“I’m sorry Kin Ryu, but this matter isn’t something that can easily be interfered with. So don’t take offense, but this issue isn’t any of your concern, even if you want it to be.” Bull Ye says while slightly bowing his head.

“There’s no need to be sorry. I’m not here to interfere; I’m here just to give advice. So enough with this talk; let’s enter the mansion to discuss this little problem you’re having.” Jen says calmly.

“Kin Ryu, how can we allow you to be the one giving advice, after you said you’re here to help the Evlee Family? We are all only human, so even if it’s not your intent, won’t the advice you give be too one sided?” Bull Ye continues to argue. From his change in tone, the people around can easily see that he doesn’t want to offend this stranger. But Bull Ye has been doing many shocking events today, so everyone wonders which would falter first. His argument or his tone.

‘Dam, what should I do? All I can think to say would be offensive. Sigh, even though I don’t want to offend this person, I have little choice. I can only hope he’ll take it and listen. No, no, no, no, I should put my hopes on there not being any plot armor nearby.’

Jen walks forward as he laughs. “Hahahaha, now that’s enough with the wordy bullshit. I’m not good with words, so if we continue this, then you’ll continue to tell me to fuck off, and I’ll continue to say no. So how about we go around all of that and get directly to the point. If you don’t allow me to come inside and have a peaceful little talk, then I’ll have to become a little dominating and force you to have a peaceful talk.” Jen says in an arrogant tone.

“Oh, and while I’m at it, all of you people who have been enjoying this fascinating show can now leave,” Jen says almost playfully as he turns his head towards the crowd.

Under his piercing gaze, everyone was frozen stiff. They all wanted to leave, but none of them had the courage to move. They felt as if death was staring them down with golden eyes.

“I said now,” Jen say in a tone colder than ice. At that moment everyone started running, running for their lives. Some were pale from fright; some felt like fainting. They all felt like if they stayed any longer than his eyes alone would crush them.

No! Even in death, they didn’t believe they could escape him. It felt like his eyes peered into their soul, and could snatch it with only a glance!

Not even after returning to their houses could they relax, but their bodies were too exhaled from fright, causing more than half to faint, and even more to vomit. Just from a single glance of his, they all felt like they had a life and death battle with Death himself, and they almost lost.

Turning his head back to Bull Ye, Jen waited for his answer.

At this time Bull Ye’s face lost its composer as he stared at Jen. He didn’t know what it was, but every time he says those eyes, he would feel like he was suffocating. The pressure that this person gave off was only at the Evolution realm, but in those eyes, an endless amount of power seemed to flow.

Never has anyone in his past life made feel this way. Not even those of the highest realm could make him want to summit; could make his instincts scream; OBAY! OBAY! DON’T OFFEND THIS MAN! EVEN IN DEATH, YOU CAN’T ESCAPE!

What neither Jen nor Bull Ye knew was that Jen’s eyes were the exact thing making everyone feel the way they did. Earlier when Evlee Lum, Evlee Xia, and Elder Mil met Jen, none of them felt anything off about him, but now everyone feared him. The reason for this is that Jen change the color of his eyes to make himself less recognizable. But by doing this, he gave people a physical focal point of his spiritual power to focus on.

If he didn’t do this, then there would be no way the people here would be able to come close to start sensing his spiritual power. And even though Bull Ye is reincarnating from a dead expert, even he wouldn’t be able to sense anything, since the power differences are two great.

But Bull Ye had many years of experiences and had also come close to death many times. So after a few moments, he regained most of his calm external. He looked around and saw that all of the Bull Family members were pale and that many were shaking. He had finally made his decision.

“Fine. If Kin Ryu wants to have a discussion, then we’ll have a discussion.” In his past life, Bull Ye had always relied on his instincts and they have always saved his life. There was only once in his past life that he didn’t go along with his instincts, and because of that, he ended up here. So he decided that it was best if he followed his instincts. Besides, he was given a second chance to make up for his past mistake, if he were to make the same mistake in this life, then there may not be a third. And that would truly be regretful.

“I’m glad you understand,” Jen says as he starts walking forward. “Elder Mil goes to the Evlee family and brings the people who would now be in charge to me, and you two follow me.” He says while looking at Elder Mil and pointing at Evlee Xia, and Evlee Fiz.

“Yes, Kin Ryu!” Elder Mil almost yells as he turns to leave. “You two go on!” He hastily says to the frozen Xia, and Fiz.

‘So he was hitting Evlee Lum’s meridians; blocking them, and causing more and more Qi to backup as he used it. In the end, he caused his own meridians to burst, and the Qi which burst out damaged his internals to the point of death.’ Jen thinks to himself as he glances at Evlee Lum.

Inside the Bull Family Mansion

Jen, along with Xia, and Fiz followed Bull Ye and Bull Bem into a room.

“Have a sit.” Bull Ye says to Jen while gesturing to a seat across from him.

After sitting down, Bull Ye does the same and sits down across from Jen.

“So, what did you wish to talk about?” Bull Ye asks.

“Since the Evlee Family has just lost their chief, they’ll need a new one. So when Elder Mil gets back with the people of the Evlee Family, I’m going to propose that this little boy becomes their new chief.” Jen says casually as if it wasn’t a big deal.

“Now the problem is that your two families are at each other’s throats. So we need to fix that.” Jen says as he stares at Bull Ye. “I can see that with your potential, you won’t be staying in this small city, and will instead go and do bigger and better things. Because of that, you can go ahead and choose who’ll become the next chief. My only requirement is that they have a sister. My little friend here needs a wife fit for his position, and this will also solve our little problem. Oh, and be nice to him. Get him someone who looks pretty.”

After hearing this, Bull Ye narrows his eyes and says in a bone cold tone. “I may have allowed you to come in and talk, but don’t think that with the movement of your mouth, or flip of your finger that you can command us on how we run our family. Don’t think of us as pushovers, or you may regret it. Now then, if that’s all you have to say, I think it’s time for you to leave.”

“Hahaha, you’re funny; real funny. I can’t remember, what’s your name? Bull Ye right? Your name is Bull Ye right?” Jen says in an almost cheerful tone. But right after finishing his last question Jen suddenly moves from the couch that he’s sitting on, to right in front of Bull Ye. The next thing everyone around notices is that Jen is bending over to where his face is right next to Bull Ye’s ear, while his hands are behind his back.

“Because that’s surely not your body.” Jen whispers.

After hearing this, a shiver goes down Bull Ye’s spine. ‘How does he know!?’

“If this confidents of yours is coming from your little inscription formation, then go ahead and throw away that confidence. If it’s coming from somewhere else, then go ahead and try me. I really don’t like killing people, so choose wisely, and don’t disappoint me.” Jen whispers in an odd tone.

‘You don’t like killing people? It seems like the entire time you’ve been here, you’ve been trying to provoke me into a fight. And what’s with the way you said that? It sounds like you’re enjoying this!’ Bull Ye thought to himself

Jen straightens himself and looks down at Bull Ye waiting for his reply. But right before Bull Ye is able to speak, a knock on the room’s door is heard.

“Enter.” Bull Ye says.

The door opens, and a servant walks in. “Young Master, Elder Mil is back and wishes to enter.”

“Well bring him in,” Jen says before Bull Ye has a chance.

The servant looks from Bull Ye to Jen, then back to Bull Ye for confirmation. After a few seconds, Bull Ye sighs and nods his head yes.

The servant turns around and brings Elder Mil in, then leaves again.

“Kin Ryu, I’ve brought the three Evlee Family members who are the strongest within the family right now.” Elder Mil respectfully says.

“Good. Everything is almost done. All I need now is your answ-

“Bhuugg”

At this moment, Elder Mil has fallen to the floor, while vomiting blood.

“Elder Mil! What’s wrong!?” Evlee Xia yells as she runs to Elder Mil.

“I see, so that what happened.” Bull Ye says, a little astonished.

“What? What happened?” Evlee Xia looks up with a worried expression.
