Chapter 7: Jen’s Arrival

Chapter 7: Jen’s Arrival

All Evlee Kell could do was stand frozen in place. The fright on his face instantly turning to pain as Evlee Mil uses his right leg to kick at Evlee Kell’s left knee. The sounds of breaking bones could be heard, and soon everyone could hear Evlee Kell’s screams. He was in a kneeling position, but instead of the bottom half of his leg being behind him, it was facing towards Evlee Mil. Evlee Mil had broken Evlee Kell’s leg to the point that it was bending at a 90-degree angle, in the opposite direction.

“Hmph, kneeing? That isn’t the position for the weak.” Evlee Mil says with disdain.

After speaking Evlee Mil lifts his left leg again, and kicks at Evlee Kell’s thigh. This time, Evlee Kell falls forward, but before he hits the ground, his hands instantly move to catch his self.

“No, that’s not the position either.” Evlee Mil says.

Evlee Mil moves his left leg again and sidekicks Evlee Kell’s elbow; breaking it. Evlee Mil doesn’t stop there, as he switches legs and breaks the other arm. Evlee Kell now lays on the ground with both arms broken, his left leg beside his face, and his right leg laying straightly in the opposite direction. The screams that had yet to die down raise even higher.

“Much better.” Evlee Mil says while looking down.

“Eld… Elder Mil, I admit my wrongs! I admit that I killed my brother! I admit that I had plans for his children’s lives as well! I admit it all! So please stop, stop this torture and spare me!” Evlee Kell says sobbing, while tears run down his face.

“Kell, you have no pride. Begging in the face of death; begging to the one who put you in this state. You truly are weak, but so am I.” Evlee Mil says calmly. “But I’ll make up for my mistakes.”

“No. No! NO! NO MORE PLEASE!” Evlee Kell cries as Evlee Mil starts to moves behind him. Once Evlee Mil reaches the opposite end of Evlee Kell, he raises his leg once again and stomps on Evlee Kell’s right leg. Evlee Kell now lays with all of his limbs broken.

Walking to the front of Evlee Kell and he says. “I have grown tired of your begging. So let’s fix that.” While Evlee Mil finishes, he lifts his right foot over Evlee Kell’s jaw and then stomps down shattering it.

“YAAAAAAAAAA!” A piercing scream explodes from Evlee Kell, while many of the onlookers cringe at the site. They may have killed before, but many of them don't do it slowly and torture the person. Either the person wasn’t worth their time, so they killed them fast. Or the person was a threat, so they didn’t play around. What Evlee Mil was doing, wasn’t done too often; especially in front of others.

Afterwards, Evlee Mil squatting down, says. “Well then, I’ve broken all of your limbs, so now let’s take them off.” After saying this, Evlee Mil grabs Evlee Kell’s right arm and rips it off.

Again, screams could be heard by all around. Many faces in the audition turned pale, and some of them even vomited.

“Elder Mil, wh… what are you doing.” A low queasy voice came from behind.

Turning around Elder Mil sees a pale female face filled with shock and hints of disgust. Beside her stands a boy vomiting.

“Only what’s necessary.” Elder Mil says in a calm voice as he turns back to Evlee Kell and says. “Though I would like to continue this joyful interaction, it’s time for us to part ways now that Evlee Xia and Evlee Fiz have arrived.”

Evlee Kell, now cover in blood, only looks at Elder Mil as tears stream down his face. Even through the blood one can see the red, caused by his crying in pain, around his eyes. He could only lay there sobbing, asking for mercy with his eyes. But as Elder Mil moves his foot over to him, his eyes quickly fill with hopeless despair.

‘Crunch.’ And like that, Elder Mil had stepped on and squashed Evlee Kell’s head, causing blood and brain to squirt out.

At this time, more people of the audience turned pale, and some of those who were already pale vomit. But Bull Ye, though shock at this event, still kelp a calm face.

“So not only does the Evlee Family come here looking for trouble, but also with their own hands, dirty our territory with the blood of their family. Well, it doesn’t matter, because more Evlee blood will be spilled here soon.” Bull Ye says.

Earlier, when Bull Ye didn’t want to fight against the Evlee Family, it wasn’t because he didn’t have the means. Before this meeting, Bull Ye had made a few preparation, but he didn’t want to use them at that time because they were his last backup plan. Yet, now he had to use them on the Evlee Family. Before when it was just Evlee Kell, both families were close to equal in power, so he had time to increase his power and make more preparations before going against the Evlee Family. But now that it was known that the Evlee Family has an Evolution realm cultivator, he must now take that person out before the Evlee Family rebuilds their lost strength and wipes out the Bull Family. That assuming that Elder Mil waits that long. One must understand that Elder Mil has just easily killed all of the core members of the Evlee Family. So even without the core members of the Evlee Family, with Elder Mil at the Evolution realm, the Evlee Family is still stronger than the Bull Family.

Only when someone takes into account the combined strength of Elder Mil and the core members could it be said that they lost family strength. But with an Evolution realm cultivator present that amount of power it nothing. The only regret in this situation is that the Evlee Family lost potential Evolution stage cultivators.

After hearing this, many people look shockingly at Bull Ye. What has happened to this boy? From a good for nothing to a calm ruefulness leader. How can someone make such a change?

Elder Mil was momentary shocked. He didn’t think that after he revealed his power, the Bull Family would still choose to fight him. But he quickly recovers and says with contempt “Hmph, arrogant little brat. If you think you can defeat me, then try.”

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Off to the side, many people start to talk. “This is insane! How does Bull Ye expect to win against an Evolution realm cultivator? Does the Bull Family have one hidden as well?” A random man says.

“Even if that is the case, this is still to ruthless. Since Chief Kell admitted to and was killed for his corruption, the Bull Family should let the Evlee Family resettle this dispute.” A second random man says.

“Settle this dispute? Do you think the Evlee Family is going to give up a silver coin? The only way this could be resolved without fighting is if the Bull Family gives up on the silver coin.” A third random man says.

“Well, that’s what they should do. Evlee Mil was only taking care of the corrupted members of his family, but by doing so help out the Bull Family. If Elder Mil didn’t kill Chief Kell and the rest, then the Bull Family would have suffered even if they won, and if he did help his own family, then they would be wiped out.” The second random man says.

“But that’s only if they don’t also have an Evolution Stage cultivator.” The first random man says.

“None of that matters. If the Bull Family continues to press this issue, then they’ll definitely lose face. Elder Mil was decisive and without mercy to those who betrayed their own family, which many people will admire. And even though it may not have been his plan, he did help the Bull Family from incurring some losses at the cost of his own family’s future strength. He could have waited for the two to fight it out, and then kill the traitor but he didn’t. So if the Bull Family doesn’t give them face by forgetting this issue, then they will definitely lose face.” A fourth random man says.

“Be quite! Bull Ye’s looking right at us.” The third random man says.

“Explaining myself to people who are so easily fooled would be a waste of my time, but I’ll give it a try.” Bull Ye says as he continues. “Evlee Mil stated that he was killing those people for betraying their family, but he has shown us no proof.  For all I know, he used that as an excuse to kill everyone to raise his status within his family. Now of course as an Evolution Stage cultivator, his status within the family would have soared, but even then if he would have pressed certain issues to hard or not handle certain things correct then he could still lose a lot of face within his family. But if he got rid of all of those in his way like Kell and the rest of the elders then he could become chief and his position within his family would be unparalleled. Who within the family at that time who even have the right to question him?”

Bull Ye pauses for a moment before continuing. “But let’s say that I do believe his story. Then what punishment does he receive? Those other elders died for hiding the truth, and he also admitted to being guilty of hiding the truth. So what does he receive? Regret? I’m supposed to believe his story and that he regrets what he’s done while he lives on as the chief or someone of similar status. Sorry but I can’t do that. But maybe he doesn’t receive a punishment because he delivered punishment to those who committed the same crime. If that’s the case, then I should go out there and murder and rape anyone I want; find someone who has committed the same crime as me and kill them, after that I’ll be guilt free, right?”

The random people from earlier lower their heads while not daring to look Bull Ye in the eyes.

“Sigh, that’s enough. I think we should talk inside.” A voice echoes out.

Turning to the voice everyone sees someone dressed in a dark red robe with white and black underneath. People could tell that he had many layers on. This stranger had dark red gloves on and the same color hood over his head. His face had a white mask with black drawings covering it; the only physical feature people could see, was his golden colored eyes.

As everyone looked at him, they felt a chill go down their spine. From a single glance, the people here could tell that this wasn’t someone they should offend.

Bull Ye also felt a chill down his spine. The pressure this stranger gave off wasn’t any weaker than Elder Mil’s but wasn’t much stronger either. Yet, Bull Ye still couldn’t help but feel that this stranger’s power ran even deeper.

This person is definitely not simple. A cultivator can, of course, since the cultivation of someone weaker than them, but they can only barely sense the cultivation of someone a little stronger than they are. And those of even higher cultivation could hide it completely or release the pressure of their cultivation if they wanted.

Only after gaining experience, could a cultivator start telling if someone is of a higher cultivation, even without feeling any pressure from them.

The person in front of Bull Ye gives off a pressure slightly stronger then Elder Mil, and also slightly gives off the feeling of someone of a higher realm. It’s obvious that this person is trying to hide his cultivation, but normally cultivators wouldn’t do that, because the higher their cultivation, the higher their status. The fact that this person is hiding his cultivations is the reason that this person can’t be simple.

The reason that Bull Ye was able to guess that this stranger was stronger than he is letting on is because of his instincts and experience.

‘I can’t believe it! That boy really is a reincarnated soul just like in the stories I read. Did I just walk into a cliché? Sigh, I should watch myself. Usually, MC’s like this are merciless to those who offend them. But I can’t believe that I’m going to be able to talk this type of MC! Even though I’m worried about how this is going to end, I’m still excited.’ The stranger, who is, of course, Jen, thinks to himself.
