He noticed other things to like his eyesight was sharper and he seemed to have sharper senses. Ok so it seems he has a dream about being a spider, and even more it was a lucid dream. This was actually his first time having a lucid dream so he was kinda curious, tho he was also kinda disappointed.

How was he supposed to enjoy lucid dreaming as a spider? But then he suddenly noticed something terrifying, he forgot his name. Everytime he thought about his name only the words kumo zhizhu came up in his thoughts.

So this dream turned him into a spider and gave him the name spider spider? He felt like his own dreams were bullying him now.

But he suddenly got suspicious, could dreams be so real? He could feel each of his legs, he could completely feel the experience of his new body. So from where would his brain know how it feels to be a spider. 

He started getting the feeling that this wasn’t a dream. Luckily it was easy to confirm if this was a dream or not. He just had to spend enough time here. If after 24 hours he was still a spider then he would accept this as reality.
