Kumo had it a lot easier this time, hunting became extremely easy with spiritual sense. After all how can hunting be difficult if you know the exact location of all things within a 1 Kilometer radius?
After a successful hunt he quickly was hiding in his cave again and was thinking about his next steps. He had already an idea about what the plot should have been.
Originally if he would have left the cave immediately like normal mc’s he would have probably run into disciples of the sect. In a fight he would have had no other choice but to kill them. That would have had alert the elders and they would be after him.
At that point he wouldn’t have evolved yet, so he would have been forced to run. After a long struggle endless near death experiences he would have finally evolved. In a fight after that he would have killed an elder of the sect and that would have alerted the sect leader.
After even more struggle and being constantly hunted he would have eventually succeeded in killing the sect leader. But then he would find out that the sect leader was actually the brother of an important person in a really big sect!!!
With this he would be hunted forever!!! So scary! Luckily he read enough novels to know that hiding in a cave was the best option otherwise he would never have days of peace. The question was, what to do now?
He didn’t feel save living around such a possibly dangerous sect that could lead to the entire world hunting him down. He had to make a plan, and the system would tell him this plan.
Why the system? Because he wasn’t good at making plans and because he got another lottery ticket as reward after evolving. So it was better to just let the system deal with his problems. So he chose to receive the ticket.
[Received : Book of curses
Book of curses: this book was bathed in the dao of curses. Reading it can bring you enlightenment in the dao of curses]
Kumo was confused when he saw this, where was his immortal bodyguard??? Or his protection talisman that allows him to teleport to safety? But atleast he got something that helped him grow, after evolving he was able to use spells, with this book he would be able to quickly learn spells.
That gave him an idea, couldn’t he learn curses and curse this mountain? If he turned this mountain into a danger zone unsuitable for humans then it should be fine. Maybe he could even curse the sect if he was confident enough.
Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website.
The mountain was currently to save anyway, he wouldn’t feel save if cultivators could just freely enter. Of course he had to turn the mountain into a danger zone that was safe for him. It would be laughable if he died from his own curse.
With that in mind he immediately started reading the book of curses to look for enlightenment. Many ideas flew through his mind, man eating plants, zones that weakened humans and many more.
Of course those were just ideas, he would need a long time to actually turn idea into reality. He would need to study this book of curses atleast for another few months before he could start with the plan.
He was very concerned about his safety. In novels all main characters were a jinx. They would bring chaos everywhere they go. Eventually even world threatening catastrophes might happen after their arrival.
The first tribulation that he was supposed to face was already this scary sect. He didn’t know what else this world had planned for him but he knew people who reincarnate with their memories and have a system won’t have a good life.
So he had to turn this mountain into a terrifying danger zone. So that everything troublesome will die before even reaching him. This mountain would become his personal fortress being able to defend against thousands of cultivators.
While thinking about this he saw a bunch of humans suddenly walk deeper into the mountain. He was so scared that he immediately hid deep into his cave and collapsed the entrance. He couldn’t take any chances!!! Luckily he had spiritual sense now and could listen to their conversation and the system would translate the language for him.
Cultivator with a sword : „are you sure you have seen a dragon on this mountain?“
Cultivator without a sword: „yes it definitely was a dragon and it seemed to be a young dragon who wasn’t reached maturity yet so we might have a chance against it.“
Cultivator with two swords: „still we have to be careful even a young dragon is dangerous not to mention this mountain has many other dangerous demons. Just the amount if spider demons in this mountain is probably enough to wipe out a city“
Cultivator without a sword: „i know but don’t worry it should be fine as long we follow the plan. The spiders shouldn’t get involved in the issues involving a dragon.“
Kumo was dumbfounded when he heard this, this mountain had a dragon? Even he didn’t know this, it seems like the dragon lived either outside his spiritual sense range or the dragon had a way to hide from spiritual sense.
If it was the second then that was important, kumo definitely wanted such a method. Now the question was how strong the dragon was, in novels dragons where all over the place strength wise. In some novels dragons would be born as immortals while in other novels dragons where nothing special and basically cannon fodder.
So he couldn’t use novels to judge the strength of Dragons sadly. But there was something he could do! He could watch these people attack the dragon and judge after that. After all if it was dragon or humans he wasn’t willing to help either. They were both potential dangers, so it was best to watch from the side and see if he could potentially benefit.
