Kumo barely did anything for the next weeks. At night he would cultivate the sleeping under the moonlight technique. And at day he would sleep or eat when a meal walked passed the cave.

He especially loved it when poisonous animals or demons walked passed the cave. They were completely helpless against him thanks to his poison immunity. And they would also give him a huge boost in strength.

By now the current him couldn’t be compared anymore to the passed him. He was way stronger, but he still didn’t leave the cave. Why leave if he can just sit here, cultivate and eat food daily.

Kumo was dumbfounded, wasn’t the choice obvious? He definitely would choose the demon spider of terror. He already had planned to stay in this cave as long as possible. Now he could just sit in his cave and curse people. That was awesome!!!

With this in mind he immediately chose demon spider of terror and fell asleep. Time passed and his body started to change. After a month he woke up again and felt completely different. The biggest difference he felt was that he could now use spiritual sense.

He could feel all the beasts and demons in a 1 Kilometer radius. Once he understood his new abilities he could immediately attack all of them with his mental attacks without even leaving the cave. Of course he wouldn’t do that what was the point of killing something so far away unless it was an enemy.

But then he discovered something that scared him there were humans here or rather a human sect!!! It turned out this cave was on a mountain and this was probably the mountain of that sect.

How scarry!!! Luckily he didn’t leave his cave, he had read enough cultivation novels to know that the humans would treat demons only as material for alchemy or armor or simply use them to train disciples.

And the demons seemed to get more dangerous the higher up you were on the mountain. And he was confident that at his hight normal disciples wouldn’t be able to handle it. So he would be fine as long he stayed quiet.

Still he was confused about something, he had cultivated the technique that wad related to moonlight. So why did no moonlight evolution appear? Sadly he had no answer for that currently and could only choose to ignore that issue.
